While you were watching football last Thanksgiving, Walmart noticed, And A extra helping of advertisements is cooking.

Last year walmart had record-breaking sales.

Walmart’s chief marketing officer, Stephen Quinn, told reporters they will be; “Doing more with the NFL around Black Friday, I don’t know why we didn’t figure it out sooner. The NFL is, after all, the primary TV event on the day before the Black Friday holiday-shopping frenzy.”

While Walmart is not an official sponsor of the NFL, The Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi And Procter & Gamble Co. all have products stocking Walmart’s shelves & are all official sponsors of the NFL.

BBS SUGGESTED BOOK TO ADD TO YOUR LIBRARY

The Major League Baseball Ultimate Book Of Records: An Official MLB Publication

Since the first pitch was thrown, MLB has tracked the performance of every team and player, documented every hit and measured every home run. And while some plays are part of the everyday game, there are moments in baseball when a player's performance reaches a new level of greatness and new records are made. The Major League Baseball Ultimate Book of Records catalogs the game's most remarkable achievements, as well as some of the less traditional and quirky stats that all play a part in the game.
MLB's team of in-house writers, researchers and historians have scoured the history of the game and written the most accurate, complete and definitive record of baseball stats and achievements. Major League Baseball Ultimate Book of Records documents the absolute best of the best and packs each achievement into this lavishly illustrated book where fans will be treated to never-before-seen photographs of their favourite players. Double-page spreads will show Henderson racing to second base to claim the stolen base record, while another full color spread celebrates Bond's crushing hit that set a new threshold for most home-runs.
All the records are here, each with an account of events and spectacular photographs that make this truly the most spectacular baseball book ever published.

Michael Wacha's, Cardinals Blank Dodgers For 2-0 NLCS Lead

The Dodgers' scoreless streak in the NLCS reached 19 innings. This is after they averaged 6½ runs in a 4-game division series against the Braves.

A day after A game ending in A Score of 3-2 in 13 innings, The Cardinals move 2 wins away from the World Series. Game 3 is Monday @ Dodger Stadium & the Cardinals Ace Adam Wainwright is facing Rookie Hyun-Jin Ryu. The Dodgers have already used their top 2 Starters with No Success.

Only twice has a team won the N.L.C.S. after losing the 1st 2 games. The San Diego Padres in 84' against the Chicago Cubs, & the Cardinals in 85' against the Dodgers.

Rookie outfielder Yasiel Puig suffers A Painful start in the NLCS going 0-for-10 with 6 strikeouts in the 1st 2 games against the Cardinals. In game 2 he went 0-for-4 with 4 strikeouts & not looking good after batting A .471 over 17 @-bats in the Division Series against the Braves.

He doesn’t look bad when you understand it's his 1st postseason. He has A .296 batting average over 27 @-bats in the playoffs, Close to the .319 average he Batted in the regular season. Also 27 @-bats is not enough to draw any conclusions. But the incredible hype around Puig makes it A little disappointing to watch him struggle on the biggest stage he has been in. It seems like he’s not happy about it, either.

I STILL HAVE THE DODGERS WINNING THE WORLD SERIES SO CHEER UP YASIEL.

Adrian Petersons 2-Year-old Son Dies

NFL Star RB Adrian Peterson 2-Year-old Son Dies:

-JONAH C. GEIDEMAN 2013' BLOGGERBALLSPORTS

"I want to start off by saying I really appreciate all the support that I’ve been receiving from fans & the Vikings organization,. This is a private matter and I would ask y’all to please just respect my privacy and not ask at all about the situation at hand."

~Peterson

The 2-year-old son of NFL star Adrian Peterson died Friday in a South Dakota hospital after he was beaten by a man dating the boy's mother, A release from the Sioux City police department said "the toddler died from injuries sustained during the aggravated assault Wednesday." a person with knowledge of the situation had confirmed it was Peterson's son.

The police said Joseph Robert Patterson had made a court appearance in the case and was being held on $750,000 cash bond. Patterson, 27, was arrested Thursday night & is charged with aggravated assault & aggravated battery of an infant. The arrest was made after police & paramedics were called to an apartment @ 5:43 p.m. Wednesday & found the 2-year-old victim with injuries "consistent with abuse."

Despite the tragic news, Peterson said he was determined to play Sunday when the Vikings host the Carolina Panthers.

"I plan on playing Sunday. I will be playing Sunday, let me correct that. Be ready to roll, focused and ready to get a 'W' on Sunday. Football is something I will always fall back on. It gets me through tough times. Just being around the guys in here, that's what I need in my life, guys supporting me. ... Things that I go through, I've said a thousand times, it helps me play this game to a different level. I'm able to kind of release a lot of my stress through this sport, so that's what I plan on doing.''

Current & former professional athletes wished Peterson well on @Twitter, expressing support, offering prayers & voicing disgust about the abuse.

WE HERE @BLOGGERBALLSPORTS SEND OUR WARMEST REGARDS TO YOU ADRIAN.

GOD BE WITH YOU & YOUR FAMILY.

MLB FINAL FOUR 2013'

2013-10-10T23:52:00.000-04:00

WELL THE MLB POST SEASON IS JUST ABOUT DONE SO LETS JUMP IN....

NL: L.A. VS. ST. LOUIE

-JONAH C. GEIDEMAN 2013' BLOGGERBALLSPORTS

Clayton Kershaw:

"We haven't won anything yet, but it definitely feels good to get to celebrate. You never want to pass those moments up."

After The Dodgers 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves that sent Los Angeles into the National League championship series.

"We've moved one step closer, and we don't have to get back on a plane tomorrow. It's a good feeling."

~Don Mattingly, managing in the playoffs for the first time.

MY PICK IS THE DODGERS ALL THE WAY HERE'S WHY....

Cuban rookie outfielder Yasiel Puig gave new life & energy to the Dodgers after the team got off to a slow start in The 1st 8 Weeks Of The Season. Magic Johnson and others have put billions into the club and Has produce a winning "TEAM".

Kemp, coming off A off-season shoulder surgery, is on a hot streak. He has now hit in 14 consecutive games, batting .328, yet still without his normal power. Regardless of the new talent the Dodgers have, Kemp remains A Big Key to the offense.

OH & Manager Don Mattingly....

THIS MAN KNOWS HOW TO WIN, EVEN THOUGH THIS IS HIS 1st PLAY-OFF APPEARANCE AS A MANAGER, HE IS NO STRANGER TO THIS STAGE AS A PLAYER.

AL: TROIT VS. SOX

"It felt good out there," ~Verlander

After Verlander Pitched a no-hitter into the 7th inning to lead the Tigers past the A's 3-0 & back into the AL championship series.

The Tigers became the first team to reach the ALCS in three straight years since the New York Yankees from 1998-2001.

MY PICK IS THE TIGERS TO FACE L.A. HERE'S WHY....

TOP 3 KEYS WORKING FOR DETROIT NOW

Justin Verlander Is Brilliant, Miguel Cabrera Rips Homers, Jhonny Peralta Starting.

3 MORE KEYS INCLUDE:

Starting Rotation:
If you are not scared of the Tigers rotation, you better ask somebody. Justin Verlander is the mlb's most intimidating pitcher, and he only had the third-best ERA on staff. Max Scherzer is the Cy Young frontrunner -- and he had the second-best ERA on staff.

First Base:
Ok-Ok All You Fielder Haters. Prince Fielder has a career-low 25 homers, but 25 homers is a career low, still very good in my book.

Third Base: Miguel Cabrera Has the edge here over every third baseman in American League history. The most amazing thing about Cabrera's Triple Crown in 2012 IS.... It was his worst season of the last four.

So With This, Look For A Dodger vs. Tiger World Series With L.A. Winning It All.

THE NBA FINALS:

Kobes Favored LA Lakers Are Down 3-2 After Boston Won Game 5 @ Home Sunday. Kobe's 23 Straight Points Was Still Not Enough As Celtics Won By 6. Should The Lakers Be Concernedon? Hell Yeah They Should! Kobe Bluntly Frustrated In Game 5 Tried To Win The Game By Himself, This Only Made Things Worse.

Lakers Down 35-36, Kobe Goes For His 23 Point Solo Run – 23 Straight Laker Points? When The Kobe Run Was Over, The Score Was 58-67 Celtics Leading. During Kobes Run, Boston Out-Scored Kobe 31 To 23. It Never Works To Have 1 Player Try To Dominate A Whole Team. Right LeBron? Thats Why I Love The Celtics, We Have Teammates.

It Is Over For LA!

Since The 2-3-2 Format Began In 1985': The Team That Won Game 5 Went On To Win The Title 19 Out Of 21 Times. Think Thats A Stupid Stat?, Your Probably A Laker Fan.

I Put No Emphasis On The Last 2 Games Being Hosted In Los Angeles, None, A Major Reason For This Is The Celtics Play A Better Brand Of Hoop – Might Not Be Flashy, But Way More Team-Based.

!!!GO CELTICS!!!

LFL: BEST ALL-STARS TO WATCH

2010-06-09T13:13:00.006-04:00

In Mexico June 10th,

The 2010' LFL All-Fantasy Game.

THE ALL-BLOGGERBALL TEAM

*BUT FIRST THE LFL Fantasy Game Breakdown

BROUGHT TO YOU BY:

Western Conference Playmakers:

Linda Brenner - Cool under pressure, brilliant strategist. She can scramble when she has to, but she's better in the spread. Look for her to use the throw to set up the run.

Katie Ryckman - [PIC BELOW] In terms of offensive capability, you really can't get any better than having Ryckman in the backfield. Nothing bad can happen when the ball is in her hands. Dangerous and capable of scoring at any time, from anywhere.

Others to watch:

Erika Trujillo - [PIC BELOW] The best quarterback without a team, she's had a long time to sit and stew about missing the playoffs and now losing the entire team. She hasn't played in months, but she was good when she was. Unless she's been training on her own, her performance could be sketchy at best.

Shannon Martin - Like Trujillo, she hasn't played in months. But unlike Trujillo, it's easier to pop a running back into an offense and not miss a beat. This will be Martin's time to shine and show the world what she can do. For the first time all season, she won't be on a team that's outclassed by its opponents.

Eastern Conference Playmakers:

Anonka Dixon - [PIC ABOVE] Inarguable THE best QB in the league in terms of bringing a balanced mix of throwing and running capability. Even though she won't have Tina Caccavalle (who is missing the game with a shoulder issue) she'll still have a fleet of very capable receivers. The question will be whether she can build the same connection with them that she has with Caccavalle.

Tyrah Lusby - [PIC BELOW] The best runningback in the league. There, I said it. Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, and LaDanian Tomlinson in lace. Phenomenal mix of speed, balance, and agility. Look for her to make something exciting happen whenever she's on the field.

Others to watch:

Jenn Myers - Myers has all the tools to be a superstar quarterback. On paper. Tampa was 0-2 when she was under center. This will be her chance to prove that she isn't all hype, and hopefully Dixon will give her a strong lead when she takes over the offense.

Tiffani Powers - [PIC BELOW] Powers is in a unique situation. She easily could have been one of the all-star running backs for the East, but she's also just as comfortable at linebacker on defense. Paired with her Tampa teammate Elizabeth Grace Gorman, look for them to lay out the Western runners every chance they get.

The Checklist:
Quarterback: West
Receivers: West
Runningbacks: East
O-Line: East
D-Line: East
Overall offense: West
Overall defense: East

Fan Favorite:

Look for the locals to adopt Monique Gaxiola [PIC BELOW] as one of their own. The Gax played futbol for the U-19 Mexican National team before she went to USC and won the Division 1 National Championship, then followed that up with the LFL Championship. Everybody loves a winner, and The Gax delivers that up in spades.

Conclusion:

The Dallas Desire sent more players to the all-star game than any other team in the Western Conference. Consequently, look for the West to have a decidely Dallas-style flavor to its offense.

The flipside of that equation is that Tampa sent more players to the all-stars (and most of them on defense) than any other team in the Eastern Conference, which means that the defense will gel quickly. If there's one thing the Tampa girls like to do, it's hit the snot out of the other team.

Prediction:

Victory for the East, because if they don't win it this year, they're going to get levelled in 2011 when Chicago's move to the Western Conference becomes official.

THANK YOU Troy Whigham

Celtics/Lakers

REMEMBER FELLOW CELTICS FANS? June 17th, 08' Boston Beat L.A. By 39 To EARN The NBA TITLE.

"This is a team that's a little experienced now. We've won a championship, we have a little more under our belt as a basketball club, I think we were a little green when we came into the playoffs in 2008. As a team, we played with Gasol for 30-some games, part of a season. We lost Drew Bynum for the rest of the season. We were young in a lot of other spots. This team is mature now, experienced, We're much more cautious, I think, about what we were doing on the floor offensively, understanding better what we had to do to deal with the defense that they like to run &, I thought, just a little more prepared." -Lakers Coach Phil Jackson

"We don't have a smack-down mentality, You might have seen that with Garnett on Howard there in Boston where he was smacking Howard's arm & was finally called for an offensive foul. That's not our kind of team. We don't go out there to smack people around. We're a more resilient ballclub, We try to stay strong & play hard, but we're going to have to withstand some of that and we're going to have to play through it. That's the thing that seems to have been the penchant for this Boston team, is that you got to come out & play hard & be physical with the Lakers. We have some guys who are capable of playing to that style with Fisher & Ron Artest & obviously Kobe, but our big guys are going to have to stand up because that's basically what got the Celtics through Orlando. I don't like to play ball like that, I don't even like to think about those kind of things. Those things, I think, should be wiped out = flagrant fouls, technical fouls. It just means that the longer you've been in the playoffs, the more penalized you are. It seems like that's not a really good code right now. The league takes over a lot of what we do; our practices & how games are developed, we play @ 6 o'clock, 5 o'clock here on the West Coast, in the East Coast we play @ midnight or sometime late in the morning." -Lakers Coach Phil Jackson

CLEVELAND FANS, HERE IS A STAT TO LIGHTEN YOUR LITTLE HEADS IN YOU QUEEN JAMES SITUATION. 2 OF THE GREATEST LAKER PLAYERS IN HISTORY Jerry West & Elgin Baylor ARE Hall 0f Famers & Members 0f THE All-GALAXY Team. But IN THERE WHOLE CAREER They Never Won A Championship VS. The Celtics. Not 1 In 7 Tries For Baylor & 6 For West.

O' KOBE, KOBE, KOBE. 4 RINGS BUT THIS 1 IS ABOUT HISTORY AS A CERTIFIED LAKER. His Chance 2 Do What West & Baylor Could Not Do BY BEATING THE CELTICS IN A FINAL. HE COULD Join Magic & Kareem As A Laker Who Beat Boston FOR A RING. A NICE ADDITION To HIS ALREADY Complete Resume. 2 Years Ago HE COULD OF ALREADY HAVE DONE THIS & TRUST ME, He Knows it. NOW IT HIS 2nd TRY & He May Never Get This Chance Again.

!!!GO CELTICS!!!

MLB: HANLEY RAMIREZ

2010-05-18T14:25:00.000-04:00

Marlins;

Ramirez VS. Gonzalez

Hanley Ramirez, Benched IN Monday Night's Game.

2-Time All-Star SS Said He Lost Respect For Manager Fredi Gonzalez.

The 1st Inning, Ramirez Fouled A Ball Off His Left Leg, Above His Ankle. STILL PLAYED, But Was Clearly HURTING.

Ramirez's Effort Level QUESTIONED In The 2nd.

Tony Abreu Blooped A Hit In Sort Left. Hobbling, Ramirez Accidentally KICKED The Ball To The Left-Field Corner. 2 Runners Score WHILE Ramirez JOGGED TO The Ball. Abreu TRIPLE'S, & A Error Charged On The SS RAMIREZ.

"I wasn't trying to give up, That was the hardest I could go after the ball. I don't know. It looked like it. That's the example [[[Gonzalez]]] set with me. If you don't hustle, hopefully, he does it with everybody. " -Ramirez

"It's OK. He doesn't understand that. He never played in the big leagues. That's fine,That's the example that he set. It started with me. Let's see how far it goes. We've got 24 more guys. Hopefully they can do the same thing I do. They wear the Marlins uniform. I was trying to stay in the game. I didn't want to get out of the game. It's his team. He can do what he [BLEEPING] wants" -Ramirez

"I think he needs to talk to his teammates a little bit, Whatever feelings he has with me or doesn't have with me, it's fine & dandy. We don't have to get along, but I think he has to get along with the other 24 guys on this team. When that happens, we'll run him back in there. When he sets his ego aside, this could be good. We expect an effort from 25 guys on this team. When that doesn't happen, we've got to do something, I think he needs to take care of the situation, When he handles that, the right way, we'll be fine." -Gonzalez.

Gonzalez SENT RAMIREZ To The Clubhouse After The 2nd.

Ramirez, Batting .293 , 7 HR's & 20 RBI's.

"There's 24 guys out there that are busting their butts. Cody Ross got hit with a ball 95 mph & it wasn't hit or thrown any slower & he stayed in the game making diving plays & battling, got 2 hits & an RBI. There are some injuries there, but we expect an effort from 25 guys on this team & when that doesn't happen, we have got to do something." -Gonzalez.

2010-05-15T20:05:00.000-04:00

Twins’ Visit THE Bronx,

Pettitte SHOWS THEM HOW TO GET THEIR 11th IN A ROW ROAD LOSS.

Andy Pettitte THE 37-Year-Old Lefty Seems Ageless, Pitching JUST AS GOOD AS He EVER Had BUILDING ON A MONUMENTAL Career.

1st Trip To The HILL In 10 Days, Pettitte Won The 5th OUT OF 7 Starts SO FAR THIS YEAR, Shutting Out The Twins THROUGH 6 1/3 Innings. Tied The American League Leader In W's, & A 1.89 ERA Is The Lowest After 7 Starts IN HIS CAREER. Pettitte Allowed Only 9 Earned Runs All YEAR.

"I never doubt Andy Pettitte because of his heart, I always believe Andy can be great any time he takes the ball. I've caught him, I've coached him, I've managed him. To me, he really has what it takes inside to be a consistent player. I would never put a limitation on Andy because of what he has inside." -Manager Joe Girardi

22 Batters = 19 Outs, Holding The Twins To 2 Singles.

"He had his curve-ball & his cutter from the beginning, which made me feel really good about how he felt." -Girardi

Same as always, complete with a steady diet of curves and cutters.

FROSTING On The Cake Was Offense.

Twins Came Into New York Tied With The Yanks For 2nd-Best Record In The AL.

Mark Teixeira & Jorge Posada Hit 2-run HR's In The 7th OFF OF Francisco Liriano. Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter & Marcus Thames Had RBI Singles, & Defense NAILED THE COFFIN SHUT.

Brett Gardner & Nick Swisher EACH Made HARD DIVING GRABS On Line-DRIVE's.

After THE Comeback WIN VS. Minnesota Friday Night, DUE To A-Rod's 7th-Inning Grand SALAMI, Yank's Led This 1 From The FIRST PITCH. NOT LOSING @ Home VS. Twins Since July 4th, 07'.

Thames Was Hit BY A Pitch TO HIS LEFT FOOT By Liriano, LATER Scoring On Jeter's Single To Right, Sliding Home Ahead Of Michael Cuddyer's Throw IN FRONT OF THE Crowd Of 46,347.

(Rumors) TRUE OR FALSE, M.I.L.F. HUNTER Delonte West & LeBron James' Mom?

“Did You Hear About Delonte West Sleeping With Lebron’s Mom?”

I AM NOT THE KIND OF GUY THAT BUYS INTO RUMORS, BUT THIS ONE IS GAINING A-LOT OF MOMENTUM.

Delonte West Sleeping With Gloria James?

Delonte West – Gloria James:

RUMOR IS, Delonte West, TEAM-MATE Of LeBron In CLEVELAND, Was Sleeping With #23's MOM, Gloria James.

Reports SAY LeBron James Found Out About The Affair RIGHT BEFORE The Celtics' Game 4 Playoff Series.

Many SAY That LeBron James' DIDN'T CARE Game 4, A Result Of Him Being Upset About The NEWS ABOUT His MOM & Teammate.
"A Work Of Fiction OR FACT"?

Credible Reports (2 EMPLOYED @ THE Q, "CAVALIERS HOME COURT"). IS Gloria James, 42, & Delonte West, 26 LOVERS? Is Ms. James A Cougar Who Seducced LeBron’s Team-Mate? OR Was THERE Any Seduction @ All? James THOUGHT OF AS 1 Of The Best Players In The NBA, Known For Consistency & Focus. That WAS NOT THE CASE IN Game 4 Of THE 2nd Round Series VS. THE CELTICS. B4 THAT GAME 4 James’ Scored 32 P.P.G., AVG., & Shot 55% IN The Playoffs THIS YEAR. But Games 4, 5 & 6, LeBron Scored 21 P.P.G. & Shot 33%.

If THIS IS ALL True, Delonte West & Gloria James Cost Cleveland A Championship......

CHICAGO OR NEW YORK JAMES?

IF JAMES DOES GO, CLEVELAND BETTER TRY HARDER THAN HELL TO GET JOHN WALL.
