WOW!!!
I have tried many products and NONE have provided even close to the results as GREAT as yours. I haven’t felt this WONDERFUL in years. No… wait… since I don’t remember when.
I realize this might sound a bit odd, or not, (I’m sure you hear this often). I have always considered myself to be a rather healthy person. However, Body Balance has provided my body / mind with something that has been missing for a long time. I feel like a new man!
THANK YOU
Charles E. Jesse, Eugene OR
P.S. Let me know when you start selling in five gallon containers. I’ll make space in my refrigerator.
"My vigor was restored after a five years of feeling terrible, when a medical doctor who specializes in preventive medicine introduced me to Body Balance. My belief in the wonderful benefits of this product, and my personal experience, have inspired me to introduce Body Balance to doctors and health care professionals, who share my belief in the importance of nutrition and detoxification to an individual's optimum health."
Lenore Laudenslager, San Diego, CA

"I have been taking Body Balance for 16 months now, and it has made a dramatic difference in my health. I have had general health problems for 20 years and a serious problem for nine. Although I watched my diet and followed the doctors recommendations I had no relief. In June, 1996, I was introduced to Body Balance by a friend. In the year that has followed, my health improved to its current level and my serious condition is no longer a problem! I now maintain Great Health and my doctor has changed my medications to much safer level. I have more energy, sleep better, and have an overall increased sense of well-being. This is why I am happy and confident to recommend Body Balance to anyone and everyone I meet."
John Weldy,Jacksonville, FL

"My husband, Roy, is 91 years old. For the last two years he has been going downhill. I noticed subtle changes in his facial appearance, his hands were rough to the touch and he was tired and sleepy all the time.
For one month Roy took 1.5 ounces of Body Balance every morning after breakfast. I am happy to report that Roy's health has dramatically improved since he started taking Body Balance.
Within 2 weeks he started doing push-ups, after not having done them for two years! He now regularly stays up until 11:00 pm, and has started walking more. Roy's face is so smooth and alive looking now and his hands feel like silk and the circulation has improved."
Dorothy Rae Fischel, Lafayette, IN

"I have found Body Balance to be the best product on the market today. I used to suffer with irritability and my days used to be very stressful. Body Balance gives me that extra boost to make it through the day. I feel calm, yet energized."
Crystal Benton, Clinton, MD

"I have been using natural products and supplements for many years. It wasn't until I was introduced to Life Force Body Balance that I noticed many changes taking place. Here are the tips most commonly provided by the airlines:

To enhance your physical comfort:
• Chew gum, yawn, or suck on hard candies to help relieve the pressure that builds in your ears when the airplane ascends and descends.

• Drink plenty of water while onboard the aircraft to avoid dehydration during the flight.

• Do light stretching exercises in your seat and walk through the cabin frequently (when safe to do so).

• Consult your physician if you suffer from airsickness. He or she may be able to prescribe medication for this.

• The relatively low humidity in the cabin can increase allergy or asthma symptoms. Take preventative measures as necessary.

To combat jet lag:
• Reset your watch to the destination's time as soon as you get on the plane. If it's daytime at your destination, try to stay awake during the flight. Walking around the cabin may help keep you alert. If it's nighttime, try to sleep. You may find it helpful to use earplugs and a sleeping mask to block out distractions on the plane.

• Eat before you get on the plane so that hunger does not prevent you from sleeping during the flight. Inform the flight attendant that you will not be eating so that you are not awakened for a meal.

• If you're using a blanket, buckle your seat belt over the blanket. That way, a flight attendant checking seat belts won’t awaken you.

• If it's daytime when you arrive but nighttime at home, don't sleep. Instead, try doing some light exercise, like walking, to help revive your body and stop it from producing sleep-inducing hormones.

Flying during pregnancy
It is generally recommended that women not fly at all during their last six weeks of pregnancy. Some airlines require that pregnant passengers traveling within 30 days of their expected delivery date must provide a doctor's statement dated within 72 hours of departure. Pregnant women should always consult their obstetricians before traveling.

Here are some additional tips for staying comfortable on your flight:
• Reserve an aisle seat so that you can easily access the bathroom and move about the cabin.

• Getting up and walking regularly will help combat swelling and discomfort.

• Bring a copy of your medical records and ask your doctor for a referral in case of an emergency while you are away.

• Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and flat shoes. Wear layers if you are prone to body-temperature fluctuations.

• Keep your seatbelt low around your hips, not around your abdomen.

• Get a small pillow from the flight attendant and place it under your lower back to avoid back strain.

• Drink plenty of water—at least one liter for every two hours in flight.

Avoiding Deep Vein Thrombosis
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) occurs when blood clots form in the veins, most typically in the legs, and then break off and pass into the lungs causing a pulmonary embolism, or to the heart. To help prevent DVT during flight, do some light exercises:

• Get up and walk around the cabin every 30 minutes or so.
• Flex your toes, ankles, and calf muscles while seated.
• If there’s room, elevate your feet a bit.

We reached a point in our lives to make some wonderful changes and Hawaii is the paradise we have been looking for. We decided to create a wonderful natural product using some of the most exotic ingredients available in Hawaii. Our combination of Olive Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil, and natural Hawaiian rain water, along with natural essential oil scents (we do NOT use any synthetic fragrances) helps to create a wonderful bar of soap which contains emolients that help to soften your skin. Where else can you find coffee, cacao, and wonderful exotic flowers in one place? So the two of us put our heads together, took some classes, and came up with some wonderful soap products not usually available to the general public. And best of all they are made in Hawaii.

We hope that you enjoy our products. They are liked by all who have tried them. Our friends and family have all given us a thumbs up and we hope you will too. If you have any advice or questions regarding our products, please do not hesitate to call.

Soap is created by combining an alkaline base with an acid. There is a chemical reaction between the two that create soap. The soap is then molded and cured before it is ready for use. The chemical properties and reactions are quite complicated and precise but this is how most soap is created including the products from major corporate soap companies.

There are no artificial ingredients or colors used in any of the soap formulas. The basic oil ingredients include olive oil, palm kernel oil, and coconut oil. Hawaiian kukui nut oil is also added due to its healing and health benefits. The formulas also include natural rain water captured and filtered at the factory. The colors in each bar of soap are natural and are formed by either natural herbs, by an exfoliant, or an essential oil. The essential oils used are of aromatherapy grade. All of our marbled formulas are created by hand when we pour the soap into the molds.

Some of our exfoliant soaps include cacao which is the actual name of the plant that produces chocolate. The cacao contained in our soap formulas is part of the actual roasted bean and not the processed chocolate associated with a chocolate bar. There is a very faint chocolate scent from the cacao ingredient but our cacao soaps do not have a chocolate bar scent. We grow the cacao at our soap facility in Hawaii and use it in our products. Hawaii is the only state in the United States that grows and produces chocolate.

In addition to our chocolate soap products, our coffee exfoliant soaps include Kona coffee grown at the Hawaii facility. We also grow our own citrus seed products, which include lime and calmadine seeds, from small orchards located on the property.

We hope that you will enjoy our unique and wonderful products. If you should have any questions regarding our products please contact us. 808-322-9111

The Stone checkerboard is called papamu, the white playing stones are ‘ili kea, the black ‘ili ‘ele. Place the ‘ili alternately, black and white in the depressions in the papamu. The game requires 2 players. These stones are scattered along this coastline and really bring back that ancient feeling of living along the coastline with timeless sunsets.

Konane requires two players to sit on opposite sides of the papamu (game board)
One player is chosen to take one kanaka kea (white) and one kanaka `ele (black)from anywhere on the papamu
Player holds one in each lima (hand) behind back
Player shows closed fists to opponent who chooses a hand
Opponent is assigned the color of the `ili`ili in the hand that was chosen, in our games `ele`ele always goes first
Kanaka `ele moves by lele (jumping) and `ai (eating) kanaka kea
The last player to be able to move is the kulanakila (victor).
During game a Kapu (law or rule) of silence exists - no talking.

Another Hawaiian Game was ‘O’o ihe—Spear Throwing. King Kamehameha would have his warriors hide and wait for him along the Kings Trail on the Kohala Coast to train for battle. Parts of this trail can still be seen today and are constantly being restored by local groups and Ohana (family) of local clans. The history is truly amazing , you really can feel the energy left behind not so long ago.
We aim to cherish the past while looking into the future. The true spirit and knowledge of the Hawaiian ways are so important for us to recognize and hopefully practice at some level while we are here weather it is showing Aloha or just taking the time to relax and smile at our neighbors. Puako really has that special feel, tucked in between all the major resorts we find time to take a step back and stop to smell the plumeria. However, over two years of meetings and coming to know one another, the group identified several common values centered on the Hawaiian culture and a common dream for healthy communities.
Friends of the Future's guiding principles are:
The spirit of giving; Invoking the spirit of giving and aloha is the essence of Friends of the Future.
Honoring and learning from the native Hawaiian culture; Friends of the Future is rooted in the spirit and values of the Hawaiian culture.
Face-to-face, heart-to-heart communications; When we talk face-to-face and heart-to-heart, stereo-types and prejudices fade and, gradually, "them" becomes part of "us".
Diversity and trust; We believe diversity is life-sustaining in both nature and society. Communication among diverse peoples, values, cultures and world views, brings the old and the new together to create a better way. And we also create a place where people are listened to and feel trusted.
Bringing out the best in everyone; In this environment of diversity and trust, we facilitate opportunities where people are willing to share their values and wisdom, and to contribute their very best.
Lokahi: Peace, Unity and Harmony; We seek to create and sustain a cooperative environment.
Commitment to follow-up and action; It is through our actions that we demonstrate our commitment to our cause.
Visit the Friends of the Future web site: fofhawaii.org

We are not affiliated with Dr. Weil, we just love his programs and recipe

Poached Salmon
2 Servings
Those of you who are familiar with My Optimum Health Plan will know that one of the initial dietary changes I ask you to make is to start eating fish -- particularly oily, cold-water fish. Of the varieties that fall into this category (mackerel, kippers, sardines and wild Alaskan salmon) my favorite is salmon. It's a leading source of omega-3 fatty acids, essential fatty acids that contribute to brain growth and development and may help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure and cancer. Salmon is often available fresh, and it also scores points as a food that's easy to cook but looks and tastes like the elegant work of a gourmet chef. Try this and my other salmon recipes; they're easy enough for everyday dining, fine enough for a special occasion, and guaranteed to set you on the road to good health. Enjoy.
Ingredients:Salmon filets (allow 6 ounces per person)1 carrot, sliced 1 small onion, sliced 1 stalk celery, sliced 2 slices lemon Several sprigs of parsley 6 bay leaves (Turkish, or 1/2 of a California bay leaf)Salt to taste 1 cup dry white wine Juice of half a lemon
Instructions:1. Cut the salmon filets into individual portions if necessary.
2. Place in a large skillet the carrot, onion, sliced celery, lemon, parsley and bay leaves.
3. Add the fish, cold water to cover, salt to taste, the wine and the lemon juice. Bring the water to a boil, uncovered.
4. Adjust heat to simmer and let fish cook for 5 minutes.
5. Turn off the heat and leave fish undisturbed for 10 minutes. Then remove it carefully to a serving platter; the salmon will be perfectly done. It is delicious served either hot or cold.
Nutritional Information:
Per serving:245 calories10 g total fat (2 g sat)76 mg cholesterol0 g carbohydrate22 g protein0 g fiber50 mg sodium
- Recipe reprinted with permission of DrWeil.com.
