Gender-bent Romeo and Juliet: Shakespeare’s tale of woe as you’ve never seen it before, performed as part of Fuse Ensemble’s OutWright Theatre Festival: The Original Practice Shakespeare Festival performs using the same techniques as they did in Shakespeare’s own time, which means limited rehearsal; an onstage prompter; fast paced, energetic acting; and lots of audience interaction.

- From Jeanne: Join us Wednesdays in July 2013 (10th–31st) for the fourth annual Sundown concerts and showcase. Sundown celebrates the intersection of music, green living and community wellbeing. Hosted at Ecotrust’s Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center Parking Lot, the free outdoor concerts bring together top local musical acts and the Innovation Showcase, featuring an exciting group of innovators working in the Pacific Northwest.

- From Darcy: Celebrate summer in Oregon at “Eat Your Berries! The Oregon Berry Festival”.

Come down to the Ecotrust Building in Portland, July 12th & 13th to taste and buy some of the season’s best berries and also sample amazing products made with Oregon’s berry bounty – There will be ice creams, pies, cobblers, jams, strawberry shortcake plus the unexpected taste treat like Marionberry BBQ sauce, red raspberry spirits, cranberry chocolates, natural blueberry soda and much more.
