People ask me about improving their position on Google and building a big list.

1 The answer is to keep on posting messages on your blog, at least 2 per week, preferably everyday.

2 Be active and post article to ezine sites on a regular basis.

3 Use the free 'Ping' services to get the updates on your webpage/blog notified to the search engine spiders.

4 Sign up at several Social Media sites such as Twitter, Digg, Propeller etc,. There are hundreds of such sites and the members usually have a need or a problem that you could respond to.

To get started I bought Twitter Magic and just followed the great advice and information in the easy listen videos. There is also a free PDF booklet for you to download and use as a reference manual to mark and keep track of what you have done.

Whatever you decide to do - do something. I kept putting of getting started and looking for the 'right program' or 'Training Course'. In the end I could not decide which was the best because they all offer something that you did not know about. So get started and I suggest that you try Twitter Magic and give it 100% of your time amd effort. Dont be sidetracked with other offers - just concentrate on one to get your busienss underway.

Do you know where to start?

I have at last decided to get this blog up and running after searching for an online business for the past 6 months. There are so many 'experts' ready to tell you how to do it by selling training packages that it really does become a nightmare deciding which one to choose.

I used a throw-away email address and signed up to get more information from some of them. Once in, I then discovered that you needed to join several other programs, upgrade your membership (some were over $1000) or buy software in order to be successful. Having no regard to their claim not to give away my email address, each day my email inbox was bombarded with spam and junk emails promoting even more programs or porn sites to join.

Over a 3 month period, the address inbox received over 3600 emails! Trying to read them was out of the question and so I no longer use that mailbox.

With all the information I was getting my mind was in a spin - yep, brain overload. Help! So I sent personal emails to some of the more well known established market guru's but the majority of them ignored me. Only one bothered to reply!

Without a doubt it has been a harrowing couple of months watching hundreds of videos and listening to countless audio interviews. Throughout this time I have tried to work out what is the easiest to follow. I guess that I should have taken more time to make notes so as to be able to put it all into print for others to follow. However I do not intend writing an ebook though at some time I may pluck up the courage and make some videos to upload to help others in a similar position.

From all the information that I picked up I have decided to get started with blogging. So what can you expect from this blog? Well I want to be able to show you safe websites and tell you about current marketing systems and strategies that you can check out without spending a dime.

I cannot afford to purchase every new offer so I hope to give you links to reviews before you spend any dough!

A warning though! To make money on the Internet you must set a budget to cover some of the costs for web hosting, list building etc. Anyone telling you that you can make a good income without having any costs are just trying to suck you in. Do not fall for their empty promises. Just close the web page or delete the email.

So why not bookmark this blog and keep checking me out as I try to provide ethical and unbiased advice for you.

As we come to the close of another year I just thought it appropriate to just look at what I have achieved finding Blogging Solutions in 2009. Like most people life has been pretty busy and it takes time to go searching for good content. For most of the ones I find I always sign up and have yet to find a dud.

I endeavour to follow up with what is offered freely and so have been building up a great library of PLR and articles that will come in useful in 2010. Some of the websites have provided some wonderful tools. All in all I know that in 2010 I will be implementing what I have learnt and I hope to offer more on Blogging Solutions for Today readers.

Just tonight I came across Blogging Beginners. Another support page that has some fantastic no charge advice although there is a paid option if you want more. I just went with the free sign up. There are Thirteen Modules and most have more than one video to show you what to do. The quality of them is good and it is easy training that you do at your own pace. By the way you can download everything to your PC and view at your leisure. This is another blogging solution for today and one that you should not miss out checking. I am so impressed with what they offer that I have now added an advert to this blog. This could be a super Christmas present and give you all that you need to make blogging in 2010 successful.

Went fishing in the lake and the Internet again ..

This morning at 5.30 I went fishing with a mate and we had a great time. It really was a beautiful morning and the sunrise was fantastic. In total we caught over 80 fish, throwing back many small Bream. The local Pelican got a feed of 26 Trumpeter fish that we refuse to throw back as they are like vermin. Had some whiting fillets in breadcrumbs for dinner. Gee! they are a lovely white sweet tasting fish.

After dinner started fishing with the big net to look at blogs etc and managed to catch a few good sites. I am not subscribed to these and merely point them out as useful sources of information that may be of help.

No good blogging if your health is ....

How are you today?

I heard the other day on the TV news, that in the USA, over a million people have the Swine Flu. That is an incredible number of people affected and it is no wonder that it is difficult to contain.

So with that in mind and wanting to minimise my risk, I have just been vaccinated against pandemic (H1N1) 2009 Influenza, referred to as Swine Flu. To my surprise it was done free of cost.

When I went to the surgery I was provided with a leaflet that went into detail about the vaccine, what it will do, potential outcomes and what to do if you get side effects. The nurse went through it fairly quickly and I said OK please go ahead and stick the needle in. In spite of using what appeared to be a long needle, the nurse was so gentle that I only felt a tiny prick and there has been no bleeding or bruising. In fact I have had no after effects at all.

Now you may be asking what has this to do with blogging? Unless you are promoting good health and or products then probably not much. However it is important to look after one's self in order to be able to keep posting and promoting. When I get a cold or flu it usually hangs around for at least a week and usually heads for my sinuses (no pun intended). With fever and chronic headaches I just want to stay in bed. Even the laptop then gets a rest!

Since I feel so good, I thought I would tell you about one of the blogging programs I have been checking out.
