For those of you who don&#39;t already know I&#39;ve been working for the Wilderness Society for the last few weeks, and slightly to my surprise, I&#39;m loving it.  In a way it&#39;s exactly the same as my last job, except without the bad bits!  I get to spend my day standing on the street talking to people in the community about environmental issues that affect them. Last night they banned compulsory student unionism.  That&#39;s right, banned it.  No giving students the option or anything, just an outright ban.  I think it&#39;s absolutely outright fucking outrageous, and I&#39;m amazed the students of Australia haven&#39;t been more outraged by it all.

That&#39;s the best bloody news I&#39;ve heard in ages.

As I&#39;ve ranted about before, I think the idea of discriminating against someone based on their age is as abitrary as discriminating against someone based on what cuddles in between their thighs.
