Batman: Dark Knight Rises

I cannot wait for the new Batman (Dark Knight Rises) to hit the big screen later this summer! This is the final chapter of director Chris Nolan's trilogy. Christian Bale once again plays Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, we'll also see Anne Hathaway being introduced as Catwoman or Selina Kyle. Hathaway has taken inspiration from the traditional comic book character as well as previous live action characters and director, Chris Nolan's version of Gotham City. The Stunning Tom Hardy will also join the cast as Bane, a methodical terrorist carrying out as much damage as he can pull off. Bane will be testing Batman's strength in both body and mind. I hope everyone's as excited for May 4th as I am! No, not because it is Cinco de Mayo eve, because that is the release date of Marvel's The Avengers! This movie will bring several of the most exciting on screen comic book hero's together for an action packed movie that's certain to entertain. Samuel L. Jackson plays Nick Fury, head of S.H.I.E.L.D. a secret peacekeeping agency. After a new and powerful enemy threatens the world, Fury must put together a team to save the world of disaster. Starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, an average teenager who must learn to embrace his powers as Spider-Man. He discovers a part of his father's past that may help him learn more of his parents disappearance. Appearing by Garfield's side will be Sally Field, Emma Stone, Dennis Leary and Rhys Ifans. Downton Abbey

Have you kept up with the British series, Downton Abbey? The story begins in 1912, the morning after the Titanic sinks. As we're introduced to the Crawley family and the servants that cater to them, we learn that the heir to Lord Grantham, James Crawley, and his son Patrick were among the missing. The future of the Downton estate and the fortune that comes with it are in question. Who is the next heir in line? What does this mean for Mary, Grantham's eldest daughter, who was to marry Patrick? Mary seems determined to find a replacement suitor, entertaining multiple prospects.

Downtstairs in the servants quarters, news of the Titanic and the affect this has on the Crawely family spreads fast. A new valet for Lord Grantham, John Bates, is about to start work. Bates arrives to Downton and this begins a chain of changes and drama that creates a story line all it's own. Some sneaky wars and some not-so-sneaky tricks keep you wondering what will happen next.

This is one of my favorite series on Television right now, and possibly one of the best period. Winning several awards and nominations, fans on both sides of the pond are waiting every week to see what will happen to the Crawely family and those affected by their fate and decisions. This Halloween, we're predicting that superheroes will be a big theme, and we're hoping that Green Lantern, a comic book adaptation that hit the big screen earlier this year, will result in some seriously cool costumes. Sure, there's always Superman and Spiderman, but Green Lantern offers something different. As the story goes, a cocky test pilot, Hal Jordan (played in the movie version by Ryan Reynolds) acquires superhuman powers when he is chosen by "the Ring", the willpower-fed source of power, of the Green Lantern Intergalactic Corps. He, reluctantly at first, takes on the challenges these superheroes face. Putting his self-doubts aside, and spurred on by his sense of duty and love for his beautiful, intellectually equal, colleague, Carol Ferris, played by Gossip Girl's Blake Lively he is soon called to defend mankind from Parallax, a super-powerful being who feeds on fear. He is the universe's last chance, as many Lanterns have been killed and the Corps is weakened. And he might just be the right Lantern for the job of keeping the world safe from harm.

If you ask us, Psycho remains the scariest movie out there, bar none. We'd be lying if we said we weren't huge Lion King fans. Granted, as costume lovers, we're fans of anything and everything Disney, but Lion King ranks pretty high up there on our list of favorites. Which is why we can't wait to see it revitalized in 3D this week. The Disney favorite has been re-envisioned for the big screen and it's going three dimensional -- which means baby Simba will be coming right at you in the theater! Ready to celebrate? The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

We spent this past weekend taking in the sights and sounds of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. As big Harry Potter fans, to say we were excited for our trip to Hogwarts is an incredible understatement. We've been counting down the days ever since we booked our trip, and we're happy to say that for the most part, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter met all of our expectations! From the snacks to be bought at Honeydukes, to the jokes and toys lining the shelves at Zonkos, we loved our time perusing the shops in Hogsmeade. Plus, the ride inside the Hogwarts castle was incredible - it was like riding a broom! Though we should note, if that's what riding a broom is like, we're going to stick to sports where our feet are planted firmly on the ground, thank you very much. Riding a broom is quite dizzying! It was about 95 degrees outside, so unfortunately, we didn't don our Hogwarts School Robes, nor our Gryfinddor scarf and hat. A group of "students" in the park were wearing full costumes, and man, did we feel bad for them, sweating under the hot sun! Lots of tourists in the park were wearing their Harry Potter glasses, and a few were carrying around wands that they'd purchased from Ollivander's Wand Shop. Hairspray is back with Nick Jonas!

A few years ago, Nikki Blonsky and Zac Efron, along with a slew of other Hollywood heavyweights, took to the big screen to bring beloved musical Hairspray to life. The movie was a huge hit, and a revival was struck up on Broadway. Meanwhile, Disney star Nick Jonas was biding his time with boy band the Jonas Brothers, and released a solo album of his own music under the alias of Nick Jonas and The Administration. Last year, Nick did a run on London's West End in Les Miserables, and now, he's taking to the stage as Link Larkin in Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl! Nick was absent from last night's Teen Choice Awards, as was former girlfriend Miley Cyrus - because he was busy working it on stage as Link! Where was Miley Cyrus at the Teen Choice Awards?

We spent last night snuggled on our couch watching the Teen Choice Awards on Fox. Some of our favorite folks took home surfboards for their skills, including singer Justin Bieber and songstress Taylor Swift, who won the Ultimate Teen Choice award. Swift, who spent the evening situated next to BFF Selena Gomez (girlfriend of Justin Bieber), happily accepted the award from good friend Emma Stone, and told teens, "When I was a teenager, I felt like we were always being stereotyped as being very intense and dramatic and passionate and hopelessly romantic and excitable. Now in retrospect, I think I need to let you know that I think all of those things are amazing things. And to all the teens watching, I hope you never lose those things." Swift's speech was met with applause - but she wasn't the only highlight of the night. Teen singer Demi Lovato, who's had quite the rough year, took to the stage to accept an inspirational award for her new song, "Skyscraper."

Conspicuously missing from the show, however, was teen star Miley Cyrus, who, before Bieber and Gomez came on the scene, was the reigning teen queen. Miley came up in the Disney family with her hit show Hannah Montana, which has since ended. Luckily for Miley, kids and teens alike are still obsessed both with the actress herself and her character. We don't know about you, but we're big fans of Pooh. Winnie, that is. One of the most beloved characters from our childhood, Winnie the Pooh and his friends Tigger and Piget won our hearts early on. Hence, you can imagine our excitement when we learned that there was going to be a new Pooh movie released this summer! Breaking Dawn Trailer Revealed!

Okay folks, let's get this out of the way: we're dying to know, are you Team Jacob or Team Edward? We're Team Jacob, all the way. In fact, we'd go as far as to say we wish Bella had ended up with Jacob, not Edward. Jacob could have taken way better care of her, if you ask us. Anywho, the Twilight saga is set to come to a close soon, what with the first part of Breaking Dawn hitting theaters in November. In the meantime, however, Summit Entertainment is keeping fans entertained by releasing teaser trailers. The most recent one, which hit the web a few days ago, shows Bella and Edward at their wedding, including the infamous bedroom scene in which Edward manages to destroy not just their wedding bed, but their wedding home.

Take, for instance, a clown costume.
