Hello Friends,

Hope all are faring well in these wild times, which certainly are a-changin’. Thank you for your continued interest in Bloodline and in the subject matter at the heart of it, which affects us all.

Our own investigations continue in an intriguing way as the determination to excavate the tomb seen in Bloodline falls to others. While we have carried on unraveling threads of the Mystery, other colleagues and researchers have been following their own strands as well.

The result? Many new (and surprising) discoveries that will prove the historians have had it all wrong. It will be very interesting when some of these "finds" go public. Can’t wait!

In addition, we have been made aware that the Priory of Sion is preparing to release more information, more documents, in fairly short order. In this spirit of "openness" and release, Nicolas Haywood has appeared with me twice in recent months on NightVision Radio (show archives available at www.LATalkRadio.com).

Since the release of Bloodline, so many have asked to connect with Nicolas Haywood. He has been made aware, and we are so excited to report that Mr. Haywood will be featured in person on the upcoming Bloodline Mystery Tour through the UK, where he will present and be available for questions and discussions. Registration is still open (but hurry!) for this May 15–21 event. All the details for the UK Tour and for the Bloodline Mystery Tour to France on May 1 can be found at (www.GloriaAmendola.com).

The Bloodline Mystery Tours, led by author Gloria Amendola and myself, follow the procession of the "Holy Grail," if you will, through Southern France, the UK and beyond, incorporating the history, mystery and the "secret" power of the sites along the way. 7 Day Itinerary

Sunday, Day 1

Alet-les-Bains

Esperaza

We will meet at Hotel L’Eveche in Alet-les-Bains, a charming hotel and once the site of an ancient bishop’s palace. This serene and lush setting is situated on the banks of the Aude River and in the shadows of the Abbey ruins, which once housed a Temple to the Goddess Cybele.

After everyone gets settled in, we first make a stop at the open-air market in Esperaza, where locals sell handcrafted items, regional foods and snacks. This town is said to be situated in the heart of the 6-pointed star according to the sacred geometry of the area.

From there, we travel a few kilometers but hundreds of years back in time to the former Templar commandery of Campagne-sur-Aude. To this day there remains a Templar church with stone passageway through which the Knights rode their horses into the church structure.

Then on to the village that is the central point of our journey for our first introduction to the magic of Rennes-le-Chateau. Once there, we will have lunch in Le Jardin de Marie. We will explore the strange interior of the Church of Mary Magdalene and spend some time in the Invisible Church and the village museum. We will end the day with dinner together.

Monday, Day 2

On this day we will visit the heretical churches in Limoux for a first-hand look at the magnificent stained glass windows depicting the marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalene (as seen in Bloodline, and make our way to the “Blue Church” to view a painting, which tells us by its very nature that the artist believed Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus.

After visiting these two local churches, we will make our way to the village square and stop for lunch there.

Next we will explore the location of The Poussin Tomb, the Standing Stone at Les Pontils, and the Templar Church in Serres, all situated along the meridian called the Rose Line.

There will be no group dinner on this evening, so your time is your own.

Tuesday, Day 3

Le Roc Tremblant — The Trembling Rock

On this day we will visit Rennes les Bains, home to the Source de la Madeleine, a place of sacred waters, which was a key location in the discoveries shown in Bloodline. We will take a short steep hike to the Seat of Isis, commonly known as the Devil’s Armchair, a very energetic and ancient “chair” that you can sit in, and another key Bloodline location. Further up we will discover Le Roc Tremblant, a curious site of ancient boulders in the forestlands.

A casual lunch follows, in town at a restaurant whose name translates to Baths of the Queens. The old Roman baths there are still operational and draw people to them for their healing properties. Some locals whisper that Jesus once immersed himself in these waters.

After spending some time in these pristine waters, dinner will be at Maison Christina. This wonderful food is prepared by master cook Christina herself!

Wednesday, Day 4

Puivert Castle — Castle of the Troubadours
Montsegur — The Grail Castle

We will begin this day at Puivert Castle, a well-preserved chateau and film location. In its day, Puivert was the Castle of the Troubadours. This was the definitive party chateau. And when you visit it, you will understand why…

Just a few kilometers drive from Puivert, we come upon the majestic Montsegur. We will have lunch in this tiny village before heading further up the mountain.

Montsegur is the site of the last Cathar stronghold. It is famous for the siege in 1244 in which many early Christians of this Gnostic sect were burned alive as heretics by the Inquisition army.

From the lyrics of Montsegur by Iron Maiden:

“Facing the sun as they went to their grave, Burn like a dog or you live like a slave, Death is the price for your soul's liberty, To stand with the Cathars to die and be free…”

There is no group dinner this evening so your time is your own.

Thursday, Day 5

Alet-les-Bains Carvings at the “Nostradamus” Family Home

Bring your water bottles when we visit this fresh source from which the drinking water is shipped and sold all over the world. But at this site, the water is free! So stock up, and drink up!

We will take a walk into the village and explore curious carvings at the “Nostradamus” family home, and then make our way into the Abbey ruins and site of the former Temple to Cybele.

We will take a picnic lunch to the lush, green bank of the Aude River. Afterwards, we journey up into the hills above Alet, to St. Salvayre Chapel, an unusual structure built in temple, rather than church style and featuring uncanny acoustics and exquisite energy.

The Standing Stone, or menir, is a short, easy hike up the hill, tucked into a forest alcove just off the road. It is significant that in the area around Rennes le Chateau, there are so many areas marked by standing stones.

Once we make our way back, we can decide where to have our group dinner.

Friday, Day 6

The Medieval Walled City of Carcassonne

On this day we will travel to Carcassonne and visit La Cite. This walled city was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.

Although this medieval city has lots and lots of history, it is also a popular tourist destination and fun place to visit! La Cite has an outstanding basilica with some amazing stained glass windows, historical tours, fun shops to find cool things, and a wide choice of restaurants.

We start out a little later on this morning, spend the day here and have lunch together in La Cite.

There is no group dinner this evening so your time is your own.

Saturday, Day 7

Rennes le Chateau

We come full circle and finish where we began…and on this day there will be a special garden concert by renowned concert pianist David Bailey, son and grandson of famous British psychics, who has his own special gifts. David’s music has been said to affect spontaneous healings.

As a very special treat, David will play “you” in a special and unique composition, created through his special gift just for you. These personal songs evoke deep spiritual and emotional reactions from people upon hearing “their” song.

We will close the tour on this night, and will leave those plans to the synchronicity of Rennes…

HOLLYWOOD – NightVision Productions, organizer of the first annual Esoterikon hidden mysteries conference, has unveiled the first group of guest speakers who promise to make the event not only groundbreaking, but revelatory.

Producer René Barnett brings her controversial, acclaimed documentary film Bloodline home to Oklahoma on Sunday, August 16th, in an exclusive one-night-only event at Tulsa’s historic Circle Cinema.

René Barnett returns to radio with NightVision paranormal talk show on Cable Radio Network

SUNLAND, CA. (SPPR) – Controversial documentary filmmaker and reality television producer René Barnett returns to her radio roots with Night Vision, a daring new program that explores the paranormal through conversations with those who claim up close and personal experiences with the unknown.

Conspiracies, extraterrestrial encounters, conversations with the dead, secret societies and cryptozoology are only some of the very edgy topics included in the radio show, which premieres May 29th on the Cable Radio Network and other broadcast stations.

The two-hour program will run live at 9 p.m. Pacific time, and midnight Eastern.

“Because of my work, I’m fortunate to know a lot of name people in these subject areas,” Barnett says. “Night Vision will have authors and experts as guests, but we’re really putting the focus on the eye-witnesses and ‘experiencers’. We’ll hear from the person who was abducted by aliens, saved by an angel, or sucked into another dimension.”

A former radio producer/personality, print journalist and managing editor of UFO magazine, René Barnett is a veteran reality television producer specializing in entertainment specials, series, documentaries and reality-based programming. Her producing credits include some of the premiere specials and series of the reality television genre, including Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Unmasked: Exposing the Secrets of Deception, Strange Universe, Places of Mystery, Guinness Book of Records Primetime and the highly-rated clip show Busted Everywhere.

Barnett is also producer of the 2008 nonfiction film Bloodline, which caused worldwide controversy by going a step beyond The Da Vinci Code with an exploration of the theory that Jesus Christ married and had a child with Mary Magdalene (“An ambitious, sharply intriguing documentary”– Los Angeles Times).

Says Barnett: “A night vision camera illuminates things hidden in the dark. Don’t get me wrong, we’re not completely credulous, but I don’t feel it’s our job to debunk them, either. Night Vision will give them a forum.”

The two-hour program will include other unique elements, including a five-minute news segment by Night Vision team member, Alan Maxson “in which you’ll get all the news you won’t hear on CNN and Fox: the sightings, anomalies, earth changes.” The second hour of Night Vision will feature calls from listeners.

The Night Vision team also includes producer Jeff Floro and the Goddess Artemis, “taking your calls.”

NightVision premieres May 29th at 9 pm Pacific time, midnight Eastern.

TRIVIA: René Barnett got her start in radio at KAKC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the newscaster who also provided occasional live sound effects on called “Dr. Mazeppa Pompazoidi’s Unfilmy Can Festival,” a zany late night show featuring Tulsa natives Gailard Sartain and Gary Busey. René Barnett was a regular guest on Art Bell’s AM Coast to Coast and Dreamland radio series. René Barnett is creator and executive producer of two cable network reality television series now in production.

Bloodline selected to screen at the 4th Annual Monaco Film Festival

We are very excited and honored to announce BLOODLINE has been selected to be screened at The 4th Monaco Charity Film Festival next month. The Monaco Charity Film Festival, being held May 11th - 16th, is a yearly Charity Event held in Monaco for the benefit of the poor children around the world. For 2009, the charity event will be for the benefit of the children of the Virlanie Foundation in the Philippines.

The Festival also helps new and developing film makers to find financing and distribution for their films. The Festival screens about 4 films per day – for one week – in Monaco.

Bruce & René show Bloodline in Dallas and Arizona

Bruce and Rene completed a very successful tour of Dallas, Texas, and Tempe and Sedona in Arizona. The film played to busy houses at the Angelika Cinema in Dallas, as well as the Harkins Cinema in Tempe and the Dream Theater in Sedona.

Bruce and Rene did Q&A sessions in all cities on the opening two nights.

René and Bruce wound up a hugely successful tour of the Pacific Northwest, where they opened the film in Portland, Oregon and Yelm, Washington.

The first stop was a private screening for 100 invited guests at the Hotel Deluxe in downtown Portland. The next morning Bruce and Rene drove 2 hours up Highway 5 into Washington State, to the small town of Yelm, to meet and greet a crowd of over 700 Bloodline fans who had gathered at the town’s new $6 million cinema complex to watch the film.

The special screening was organized by JZ Knight, the world famous motivational speaker and head of the Ramtha School of Englightenment (RSE). JZ is a huge fan of Bloodline and hired the cinema to show all her students. In fact, there were so many of them, they hired four screens at the cinemas, translating the film in four different languages!

In fact JZ was also instrumental in opening a number of well known documentaries in Yelm, including An Inconvenient Truth and What the Bleep do we Know?

Bruce and Rene spent about an hour meeting and talking to everyone, before heading off to RSE for a tour of the facility with Steve Klein, the school’s head of Special Events. That evening Bruce and Rene were dinner guests of JZ, her partner James, former Vatican theologian Miceal Ledwith, and the actress Salma Hayek. After dinner, Bruce and Rene did a ‘Q&A’ in the school’s great hall with 700 or more of their students.

It was then back down to Portland and a series of radio and TV appearances to promote the opening of the film at the Living Room Theaters on Friday June 27th. These included the hilarious Cort & Fatboy show on KUFO, and interview with Inessa at Kink FM, ABC’s NorthwestAM breakfast TV show on KATU, and a special live radio broadcast with Clyde Lewis on his Ground Zero show.

Bloodline also garnered good reviews from the two main papers in Portland. Matt Davis from the Portland Mercury said: "Bloodline is as hypnotically engaging as a well-executed magic trick", and Stan Hall from The Oregonian said: "Well-made, full of spy-movie intrigue."

Finally, on Friday June 27th the film opened at the Living Room Theaters, and Bruce & René did ‘Q&A’s’ on the first two nights to packed houses, and on Friday night they appeared on the Coast to Coast radio show hosted by George Knapp for two hours discussing the film and their research at length, and taking calls from listeners.

Bloodline was held over in both Yelm and Portland, and will be opening Friday, July 11, in Bellingham, Washington as well as Dallas, Tempe and Sedona. That means more traveling this weekend for Bruce and René, but in order to cover more territory, they are heading off in different directions. Bruce will be appearing at the Dallas Anjelika Theater on Friday and Saturday nights following the 7 pm showings of Bloodline, and René will be in Tempe, Arizona at the Harkins and Friday night and Sedona Saturday night at the Dream Theater immediately following the ‘prime time’ screenings for Q & A.

René will be appearing among a list of distinguished speakers at the Third Annual Magdalene Gathering in New Haven, Connecticut July 18-20. Oxford University dates priest's papers to 19TH century

Oxford University’s Radio Carbon Lab have carried out a ‘carbon 14’ dating analysis on a sample of one of the ‘clue’ papers, signed by Berenger Sauniere and discovered in a series of glass bottles by Ben Hammott, and confirmed that the paper and ink dated from before 1919. They said the mostly likely date was somewhere between 1867 and 1919, almost exactly the same dates that the priest was at Rennes-le-Chateau. This further rules out the possibility of them being a modern forgery or hoax.

Bruce said: “This is great news for all of us who believe in Ben and his discoveries. There has been a lot of speculation about the provenance of the messages left in the bottles, but now even the staunchest critics will have to eat their hats!”

Rene added: “I think we’re slowly peeling back more and more layers of the Rennes-le-Chateau mystery, and getting closer and closer to what made the priest break with his faith and with Rome. The results of this carbon 14 analysis means it very likely that Sauniere did write those clues and confessions, which in turn adds weight to the fact that the priest did bury the relics Ben found, and that they both discovered the same tomb in the mountain.”

Ben Hammott said: “I’m thrilled with these results. I always believed that they may have been written by Berenger Sauniere and now, in addition to the handwriting and signature analysis, we have proof that they were written during the same period that he was at Rennes-le-Chateau.”

Bloodline hits Hollywood !

After a successful opening in New York City, Bloodline opened in the city of angels on May 16th to packed houses at the Sunset Laemmle Cinema, on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, and at the Culver City Plaza Cinema.

As in New York City, the local ABC News channel came to the opening night screening, and gave the film a great review this weekend, as did Gary Goldstein of the Los Angeles Times : "If the Catholic Church fumed over the 'The Da Vinci Code' wait until it gets a load of 'Bloodline', an ambitious, sharply intriguing documentary..."

Bruce, Rene and Dr Gabriel Barkay from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, gave a talk at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Beverly Hills on Saturday, where they discussed the film, its discoveries and the relics to a packed audience.

Bloodline continues to do well in New York City as the highest grossing film at the Village East Cinema.

On Friday May 9th Bloodline premiered in New York City amid a fanfare of media coverage and controversy. The evening shows at the Village East Cinema were largely sold out all weekend, as was the afternoon screening on Sunday,and Bruce & Rene’s Q&A sessions were well received by the packed audiences.

The media coverage around the opening has been great. The film was reviewed by all the majors including The New York Times, Time Out New York, The New York Post, The New York Sun, The Village Voice, & The New York Press.

The film got a fantastic review from Sandy Kenyon, the film critic on New York’s ABC News, who concluded with :

French Government and DNA Lab speak out about Tomb & Corpse

The French Government agency, Direction Régionale des Affaires Culturelles Languedoc-Roussillon (DRAC-LR) has issued a statement on Ben Hammott’s tomb discovery.

The DRAC Commissioner of archaeology in the region, Jean-Pierre Giraud said, “This is certainly a very intriguing discovery, but it's just too early to tell how important it is. We need to do a full survey of the site to determine the age of the corpse and the other items in the tomb. The archeology department of the DRAC-LR will be carrying out an examination of the site as soon as access has been made possible.”

Bruce Burgess said, “Everyone has been asking about the excavation of the site, but the next step is just working out how to get in. The access into the burial chamber right now is limited to a small air shaft, far too small for Ben, let alone me, to enter. But plans are underway with the DRAC spelios for a full scale survey of the site to determine the best way in. Once that is done, we can get into the chamber and really examine the tomb.”

As most of you know, Ben was able to extract a few hair strands from the skull of the corpse, which underwent testing by the Paleo-DNA Laboratory at Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada. They too have just issued a statement about Ben’s discovery. Renee Praymack Fratpietro, the analyst who worked on the sample said:

“Like most ancient or degraded samples, we knew our best chance for successful results would be to focus our efforts on mitochondrial DNA. Once we obtained that information, we were able to determine a Middle Eastern maternal origin of the individual based on haplotyping information. After we found out where this hair sample came from, we realized the significance of this work.”

Producer, René Barnett, said: “This is a really intriguing result. The haplotype indicates a Middle Eastern ancestry of the corpse, which is rare to find in Europe. We can’t wait until we can get total access to the corpse and then do a full DNA test to determine the age and sex.”

The new Bloodline trailer was cut by Michael Horvitz, who worked on trailers for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Blade.

The music you can hear is from our original score composed by the award winning composer, Miriam Cutler, known for her work on Thin, Amy's Orgasm, The Ghosts of Abu Ghraib, and the Terry Gilliam/Johnny Depp film Lost in La Mancha.

We can now officially announce that Bloodline is being released on May 9th in New York City at the Village East, a week later, May 16th in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Sunset 5, and then across the US after that. Theater details can be accessed above.

Rather than an all-out release in week one, we have decided upon a ‘slow burn’ strategy that has worked well with other controversial documentaries in the past like What the Bleep Do We Know? and Super Size Me. The plan is to open in two major US markets first, build momentum, then open wider, in more screens, as each week goes by.

We will be marketing Bloodline as aggressively as we can, but we need, and appreciate, all the help we can get. A new section called ‘Get Involved’ will include posters, flyers, banners, screensavers which can be downloaded to help you help us spread the word, as well as special Bloodline items for purchase, like T-shirts, books, and more.

Bloodline set for Spring ‘08 release

Finally, the news so many of you have been asking! We have signed a deal with a studio in Los Angeles, who have confirmed that Bloodline will come out in cinemas this Spring. Hand-writing expert Confirms Hammott’s clues were written by Sauniere

Ben Hammott, (www.benhammott.com) along with author Rat Scabies (www.ratscabies.com)and Rennes researcher Andrew Gough of the Arcadia website (www.andrewgough.com) met with handwriting expert Emma Bache in London before Christmas for her analysis of the written clues that were inside the bottles Ben had discovered.

Previously Emma had been approched by Rat Scabies to do analysis on Sauniere’s writing for his book Rat Scabies and the Holy Grail.

Ben brought some known samples of Sauniere’s hand-writing to compare alongside the clues.

Comparing the message found in the second bottle, purportedly signed by Sauniere, and another known letter of his, Bache said:

“…yes, these two do look like they were written by the same person. It’s very likely that they were….you've got the same down strokes and certainly the signature is the same...I’d say they were, yes....and given that the text (of message 2) fills the whole page, it’s indicative of someone who was very agitated and determined to get their point across to others...the whole obsessive compulsive nature of his manner is showing more than ever…he wants to get his message across.”

Pressed by Rat Scabies for more about what the writing says about the author’s character, she went on to say,

“I would say that he’s got a form of OCD, not an easy character, very stubborn, learned but very stubborn…strong willpower…and full of angst…the key strokes are heavy indicating that he held the pen strongly.”

Ben also showed Emma a selection of the priest’s signatures, some from the clues and some from other known documents, and asked her to pick the ones she thought were genuine.

After careful analysis, and without knowing which came from which source, she chose the signatures she thought as being genuine. Two of those came from the messages Hammott found.

Ben said :
“This is great news. We now have some expert analysis that these could well have been written by Sauniere. I’ve always said I thought all the clues and the bottles were left by the priest so someone could follow in his footsteps…”

Differences—and similarities—in style and execution can be very subtle for an untrained eye. Rat Scabies explained, “When you first compare Ben’s clues with the priest’s known handwriting, it’s hard to see the similarities, but Emma can look beyond that and analyze minute inflections, key strokes and other signs. She thinks it could be Sauniere.”

Bache, a well known UK graphologist, has worked with BBC Television and Radio as well as many independent programs and stations. Her journalistic work covers most of the UK's major newspapers and a wide range of magazines and publications.

Andrew Gough added
“I have spent some time with Emma and I have a lot of respect for the way she approaches her craft. She is very professional and totally unbiased” said Andrew Gough, adding, “This is a good result for Ben. The importance of the clues was always going to be subject to some examination, so this is a good first step.”

The Chest Coins - A brief description

The coins discovered in the old buried chest numbered thirty and some had deteriorated to such an extent they can not be identified, others though had survived their incarceration in better condition and after cleaning some of these were identified. The coins date from 100BC all the way through to the 12th Century, many of which were in circulation in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

The coins seem to be telling a story, though with many of the coins unidentifiable we may never know their full meaning. With there being 30 coins in the chest, and although they are not silver, we can not help but link them to the 30 coins mentioned in the bible.

The coins include those coins used by the poor widow referred to in scripture and on which Jesus comments:

The ANCHOR: The anchor was adopted from the Seleucids, who used it to symbolize their naval strength. Anchors are depicted upside down, as they would be seen hung on the side of a boat ready for use.

The STAR (Wheel): The star or star with diadem symbolizes heaven. Some prutah mites stars look more like wheels, and there is some debate as to whether that was meant to be a wheel or a star.

There was also a coin dating from the Crusader period.

The palm is a date palm and this tree was a symbol of judea where these palms grew in great abundance. The palm also symbolised abundance and plenty, dignity, royal honour, jubilation and victory, and was used in religious processions.

In 6 AD, Herod Archelaus, son of Herod the Great, was deposed and banished to Gaul by Augustus. Archelaus' part of his father's kingdom (including Judea, Samaria, Idumea and Archelais) was (except for Archelais) organized as a Roman Procuratorial Province.

The coins of Herod Antipas were generally struck using poor metal alloys and consequently coins of his in this condition are extremely rare. HEROD ANTIPAS was the son of Herod the Great who became ruler of Galilee. He built the city of Tiberias as his capital. This is the Herod who was condemned by John the Baptist and later had John killed according to the Bible.

The world has spoken! Fifteen million simultaneous hits crashed amateur Italian scholar Slavisa Pesci’s website where he had posted his work revealing hidden images in Da Vinci’s The Last Supper. Proof that no matter what anyone does to try and suppress it, the interest in the ideas behind this mystery has not waned. People want to know the truth NOW.

And if that is a woman, maybe even Mary Magdalene, holding a child, then Leonardo was very clearly encapsulating the Bloodline idea into The Last Supper.

As we’ve previously revealed, the buried chest that Ben found contained ancient relics dating back to 1st Century Jerusalem.

As interesting as the contents are, although we haven’t spoken about it publicly before right now, the chest itself excited us on first sight because of an interesting emblem, faded, but still clearly visible on the top of the lid.

Those of you familiar with the Rennes-le-Chateau mystery will immediately recognize this image.

Analysis of the chest by Royal cabinet makers Beckwith & Son in England, dated the chest to as early as 1800 and notes that it gave the appearance of having been kept underground.
