Push mail is now available for the IPhone and Windows mobile devices via Google Sync.

I recently got a new phone and opted for the HTC Dream instead of the Blackberry. One of the keys to my decision was that it had push mail via Google Sync. I wanted to try out the new Android o/s, but still wanted the push mail functionality of the Blackberry. As a new phone, the HTC Dream does have some issues, but overall I'm very happy with Android. I'm looking forward to seeing this open-source o/s develop.

Kady O'Malley has the complete details on why Jason Talley and Pete Eyre of the Motorhome Diaries were detained, searched and ultimately turned back at the Canadian Border on the way to this year's Liberty Summer Seminar.

Apparently, if you're a libertarian, wearing a tie at the Canadian border will enhance your chances of entering the country.

Oh yeah, the reason given for turning them away at the border? A recent charge (but no conviction) in Mississipi for - get this - possessing beer in a dry county.

Every once in a while I visit various French blogs, but I haven't made a habit of it. My high school French is long past rusty, but it's one of the things I've had on my to do list for a while; to upgrade and improve my French. We're lucky here in Windsor in that we have an excellent French college in the City that I can take immersion courses from. I'm looking forward to signing up in the fall and expanding my world somewhat.

The Nova Scotia Liberal Party are very upset at the sneaky, underhanded, unheard of and unthinkable actions of the Provincial NDP. The supposed grievous act by the NS NDP?

They're using Google Ads effectively in the Nova Scotia election campaign.

The Liberals are claiming the ads are "deceptive" and "mischievous". To cap off their silly tantrum, the Liberals are insisting that the NDP immediately cease the ads and apologize.

Next thing you know, they'll be claiming the Nova Scotia PC's are cheating by updating their website more than once a week.
