This Saturday, the men will have their meeting at Mr. Gatti's. It will begin at 6pm.

We invite you to join us this Wednesday at 7pm for Bible study. Also, you can come join in prayer Wednesdays at 1pm and 6pm, and at 9am on Sundays.

This Wednesday we will have Bible study at 7pm.

BRIDGE will meet after church this Sunday for a short time.

Our Family Fun Night is coming up on February 24th at 6pm.

MACC is asking for help in stock up on personal care items. Also, you are welcome to come in and help with the ministry there.

The men will meet this Saturday to continue their study. It will be at Mr. Gatti's at 6pm.

The MACC Center is asking for prayer as donations have dropped off. If you can donate any personal care items, it would be appreciated.

Coming up on February 24th, there will be a family fun night. It will begin at 6pm, and there will be plenty of fun for all ages. You are invited to bring snacks and drinks to share.

Just a reminder of our service times throughout the week: Wednesday night Bible study is at 7. Sunday School is at 10am, and Worship follows at 11am. We also have times of prayer at 9am on Sunday, 1pm on Wednesday, and 6pm on Wednesday.

On January 17th, there will be an associational WMU meeting at First Baptist in Brandenburg. It will begin at 10am, and all, men and women, are invited to attend.

During the temptation of Jesus, He counters one temptation by quoting that man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. The word being spoken of here is the Bible. We must partake, to use an older word, of the Bible to keep our spirit fed. Just like we eat food each day, we must read the Bible each day. To help you with that, we have Bible study on Wednesday night at 7. Come join others for a large spiritual meal. It is nice to eat and spend time with others.

Coming up later:
January 28th the men will continue their study.

February 24th (Friday) at 6pm we will have a family fun night. Bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and games to share with others.

This Saturday (January 14th), the men will restart their study. It will be at Mr. Gatti's and will begin at 6pm.

On February 24th, we will have a family fun night starting at 6pm. There will be games, and plenty of activities. You are invited to bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and games to share.

This Wednesday, we invite you to join us for Bible study at 7pm. There are classes for adults, youth, and children.

We are just $141 shy of our goal for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. We are going to extend it through this Sunday.

In case you missed this Sunday, praying with others was mentioned. Prayer is extremely important for our spiritual lives, and it needs to be both individual and group prayer. There are 3 times that we have open prayer at church. Sundays at 9am and Wednesday at 1pm and 6pm. If you cannot make it at these times, you can even form your own groups and meet at any time.

Coming up this month:
The men will continue their study on the 14th.
The Salem Association WMU will meet at 10am on the 17th. They will meet at First Baptist in Brandenburg. Though this is for the Women's Missionary Union, men can go, too.

We are still collecting for the Lottie Moon offering until the end of the month.

The new year is coming up this weekend. Whether you are one to make resolutions for the coming year or not, we would like to encourage you. Come join us this Sunday, we will be having services at the normal time, Sunday School at 10am and worship at 11am.

We hope that all had a merry Christmas. Though it is the one "official" day that is set aside to remember the birth of Christ, that is something worth remembering all year.

Christmas is coming this weekend. We encourage you to remember that, although we celebrate with gifts to each other, it is a time to acknowledge that we have been given the greatest gift of all. Salvation through Christ. If you want to know more about that, we invite you to join us this Sunday for church. We will have Sunday School at 10, and worship at 11.

Many are coming to the time of the year when they make a resolution. They promise that they will stop or start doing something. While making changes for the good is a good idea, take time to pray about it first. God must come first, and be constantly asked for help. While we often like to think we can do things by ourselves, we are just lying to ourselves. We need God's help. The great thing is, He will give it to us, if we ask.

First up, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Children's Church dinner and show this Saturday has been canceled. They are going to work on a program for Easter.

We are collecting for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering this month. The money that is collected, not only from us, but from all churches and people that donate, goes to fund missionaries in other countries.

This Sunday, the 18th, we are having our Christmas dinner. Come join us. In fact, come early (11am) and be here for worship. Come even earlier (10am) and be here for Sunday School.

During the week, don't forget about Wednesday night Bible study. We start at 7, and have classes for all ages.

Also, you are welcome to come out for the times of prayer. There are two on Wednesday, 1pm and 6pm, and at 9am on Sunday.

We are collecting for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering this month. The offering goes to fund international missions, and you can learn more about it here.

This Sunday evening, we will have the annual Hanging of the Greens service at 5pm. Also, MACC Ministries is having their Hanging of the Greens this Saturday at 6pm.

We invite you to join us for Bible study on Wednesday at 7pm.

Our Christmas dinner is coming up on the 18th. But before that, the annual Children's Church dinner is on the 17th. They will also have their show that night.
