<p>Third-seeded North Carolina and top-seeded Florida State will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. in the championship match of the 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference Women&#8217;s Soccer Tournament at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The game will be telecast live on FS South, FS Florida, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and NESN. If the Tar Heels can score two goals in the game they will reach the magic plateau of having scored 3,000 goals in the program&#8217;s illustrious 31-year history. </p>

The Tar Heels defeated Virginia 3-1 with set scores 25-17, 25-14, 19-25 and 25-16. Carolina improves to 13-12 overall and 9-5 in league play, while Virginia falls to 10-15 overall and 5-9 in conference play. The Tar Heels, which lead the ACC in digs per set, posted a season-high 101 digs in the match. </p>
