I have been working since i was 17 years old though i never pay attention yet with all the benefits and taxes that are being taken from my salary. Not until I came to a point that I had to apply for a loan because of some unexpected expenses that occurred to me last year. I didn't realize how valuable these taxes and benefits are and it's funny because I used to complain about them before.
Someone told me that I should take these salary taxes and deductions as on of my priorities because I am also the one who will benefit from it in return especially during my retirement days. I know that it is too far from me to think solely of my retirement but it is better to be sure that i am ensured and will be financially stabled when my retirement days arrived.

I have been very busy with my work and I seldom get a quality time to focus on my other hobbies including drawing. Yeah! I really love to draw and it used to be my past time hobby when i was in high school. I try to establish a website dedicated to my drawings but it turns out a big failure because i didn't get enough time to draw and scan the pictures one by one. The picture shown on the left is one of my works and i'm kinda happy because this is one of the comic strips that i was able to share to my friends online. I am not good in drawing but at least they are not "stick people" (and you know what i mean right? hahaha) . Anyway, have you seen a doodle animation before? Do you how it works and how it is being used today? Doodles are more like a conventional or unfocused drawings but they are not to distort or abstract to understand. They are simple drawings with concrete representational meaning.

These are the drawings that are commonly used for editorials. Doodle animation, on the other hand, has a different approach because they are most likely used for advertisements or promotions. Most companies today are into it because it is very viewer's friendly and people will easily get the message that the commercial is trying to deliver. I have been working as freelance writer for almost 2 years now and I have been enjoying my work and I want to grow more and to explore other field. I am not holding any degree but it will never be a hindrance for me to achieve my goal. Writing has always been my passion and i am willing to do anything to become a certified writer someday. English may not be my mother language but i am still willing to learn more to improve my writing skills. Copywriting can be a great stepping point for a beginner and for a unskilled writer like me. I don't have to take any course or any formal training just to acquire such profession.
It can be a home-based job too which makes me eager to learn such field. In addition to that, copywriters are highly in demand today and most companies today are in need of creative copywriters to help them promote their products or services easier and faster.
The main duty of a copywriter is to write texts or articles to be used for a certain advertisement for magazines, newspapers, radio, television and other forms of media.

Oh great , here comes another news on TV that really drives my head crazy. The impeachment trial of Renato Corona is all over the news , radios and newspapers and i just can't bear them all. It's just too tiring to see the same news over and over again or maybe I'm just not so interested to politics and i just keep on refusing articles or infomercials related to them hehe.
This is the reason why i can never be a Political copywriter because i never p;ay attention to it. I love to write and i love to read but for some reason , i keep myself away from those topics haha. Maybe because I find them quite sophisticated and I feel like, understanding politics is just to stressful.
But I guess if you're politician and aiming to organize a campaign especially during election then you might have to hire a professional political copywriter to promote your candidacy effectively. They sure have the guts to give you an effective campaign that will boost your votes. Copywriting is also used to promote a business, a press launch, and other type of business.

I'm sure you guys are aware about what happened to the long term partnership of Walgreens and Express Scripts. Express Scripts acts as a middleman between pharmacies providing the health care service and employers and health plans who pay for the medications. It is said that the negotiations between the two companies went unsuccessful due to some conflicts which lead to Walgreens decision to terminate it's partnership with Express Scripts.

It could also be a big ease for most people especially those Average wage earners because they may find it hard to budget their monthly salary especially if they don't have any benefits or discounts offered by the pharmacy Benefit manager.

Old Furniture and Kitchen Carts for Us

I just found these pictures from an old magazine that we were about to dispose yesterday. Isn't so fascinating to compare those old furniture than what we have now? Compare the style, the looks, the materials, the quality and the price! There is a huge difference indeed and we can't deny the fact that as the furniture gets old, the higher the value they get which makes them very expensive nowadays.
Just look at these Rattan furniture! They all look great right? They are not too spacy either which make them really ideal for small houses.
These grandfather clocks, on the other hand, are truly classic but if you are aiming for a modern and contemporary style of house, then this may not be suitable for you.
For the dining area, these Rattan chairs might be one of the most practical options you can get. Well, it actually reminds me of our Civil Technology class when i was in high school. As what they usually say, a house reflects the personality of its owner which is so true and I guess this is the reason why we all want our house to be presentable as much as possible. We can't deny the fact that there are some people who can do anything nice other than being so judgmental and we do not want to be judge by someone by simply looking at our house right? So just to be sure, we have to try our best to make our house more appealing and attractive as much as we can even though it might have to deal with a big budget especially when we came to a point that we had to renovate the house to give a little make over to it. I know that we do not live to please other people but we have to keep in mind that as the house owner, you are also the one who can get all the benefits from it in return. Who wouldn't like to stay in a very nice and neat environment right?
Of course, it should not just be neat and clean, all the materials that you should use should be high in quality as well. Like your Kitchen counter top for example. It has been three months when i got hired to this company that I am currently working with. Just like my previous job, it is indeed another call center industry and as a matter of fact I almost got used to it since i have been into different call centers in the past 2 years. Being in this kind of industry has never been new to me. It is quite stressing knowing that most of our shifts are in graveyard but we have to bear with it since most of our clients are from abroad and we have to serve and assist them no matter what. In addition to that stressing graveyard shifts, we also have to face all the irate callers and try to solve their concern. Unfortunately, i was assigned in the technical department which is way far more difficult than customer service support.

Anyway, right now, I am currently adjusting with my new schedule and I and really grateful enough that they put me and my collegues in a Day Shift for the whole month of December though the stations that were assigned to us wasn't really satisfying than our previous working area. The cubicles here are quite smaller and I can't even put all my things on my desk. We do not have our own stations at the moment since we are just in the probationary stage and we are not regular employees yet. I have no reason to complain but it's just that, it is quite unfair for us to be assigned in such uncomfortable cubicles. For me, it is very important that you are working in a nice environment because that might be a key towards great productivity. How can we perform effectively on our work if we keep on seeing those messy and uncomfortable working place? How can we give our best if we keep on experiencing the worst?

I think they should renovate the production floor and make it a little wider for each call center agents. At the same time, they should also change the wall paint and make it more livelier. My Goal Next Year

Time is really running so fast and it seems that it was just yesterday when all of us are so excited in welcoming 2011 and now, we are about to bid goodbye and pave way to another year. I bet you guys already have your own new year resolution and goals. Hopefully, 2012 will become another blasting year for me in terms of my work and my blog. I don't mind being single for another year since i am planning to focus more on my career. If god will permit me, I want to go to college again and take another field. Nursing actually fascinates me the most and it has been a dream job to me. I really want to consider taking a nursing course or any health care related field however, i became very busy with my work and I don't have much time yet to study and work full time. It is so hard to become a working student. I have been there so I am aware how stressing it would be. This is the reason why i decided to focus more on my work first so that i can earn and save enough money for my education. But of course, we have to keep in mind that it is not just about how expensive the tuition fee is or how elegant their facilities are but the quality of the education that a school provide like what the nursing school san jose in California provides. It is important that the school that you will be in is reputable and credible enough. Recovering My Old Toys and Reminiscing the Memories

My mom and I decided to have a general cleaning in the house and I found this old toy in our stock room. Wow, i was pretty amazed how did my mom managed to keep such toy for a very long time. As far as I can remember this is one of the toys I got from my Ninong Denny during my 7th birthday. I also have some pictures holding this toy so I am really aware about the exact day when did I received this gift hehe. It made me realized that aside from photos, toys can capture and save memories as well. It feel like I was celebrating my 7th birthday again after seeing this toy.
However, as you can see, the toy is not in the good condition anymore but I feel like I don't wanna throw them away since it is very memorable for me. I have to salute my mom for keeping these toys for almost two decades. Even though I lost Elmo and Ernie, I still have Big Bird with me LOL.
It was not my favorite toy actually because when I was a kid, I am more into robot and toy soldiers and my mom used to buy me a set because I will definitely cry the whole day when I didn't get any of those (tsk tsk tsk What a naughty boy I am).
But of course, things have changed after getting into high school but my fascination with toys is still there hahaha.
Believe it or not, i am still into it and as a matter of fact, i am saving my money now because I am targeting to buy that rc helicopter that i saw online last night. I just love the details and i love the features of that helicopter which tempting me to buy it. (waaah help me LOL). I just can't help but to love it and I'm sure toy lovers out there will feel the same way hehehe.

Her Dream

Nursing is pretty is demand course nowadays and I am not wondering why most of classmates in high school took that course after our graduation. And now, they are licensed nurses and some of them are working abroad. Good for them right?
My younger sister approached me before and she told me that she wanted to become a nurse too. She's currently in second year high school and two years from now, she has to take her course for college and get the profession that she wants. I don't mind any course she will take as long as is comfortable with it. If she wanted to become a nurse and my full support is for her. I will be guiding her all through out.
Of course, I would consider taking her to a nice school. how I wish i could find some good schools here in my country like those medical school san jose in California that offers high quality education and guaranteeing their students of a good career after their graduation.
Time is running so fast and I'm sure 2 years is not long enough to wait. I have to prepare myself to it in order to support my sister's education. Wish me luck and I know God is always with me to guide me as well.

Which do you prefer, working under an employer, serving your supervisor, dealing with irate clients and bearing all the stressing procedures at work OR handling and managing your open business, supervising your own employees, and running a business without following any orders from someone who's higher than you? Obviously, you'll pick the second one not just because it is your OWN business but knowing the fact that you'll not be working under a certain company, thus, you are not obliged to follow their rules.
Though creating or handling your own business is not that easy and it has many consequences too. Everything might not go exactly as how you planned it especially if you're lacking with proper marketing strategy. Not all business will end up successfully. Some of them might lead to bankruptcy or permanent closure because the owners failed to handle it carefully.
Keep in mind that before you create or establish a business, you have to consider a lot of things which may include the location, the type of business and how much it will fit to the people around you, budget, labor force and how much are you willing to shoulder their benefits and salary and a whole lot more.
It is a Win or Lose strategy at the beginning. This will measure how far your business can go but if it turns out successfully, it doesn't mean you will just sit down and relax. Time is running so fast and people might change so as their interest so you really have to establish a good business manajemen / management. You can hire other people to do it for you in an expert manner.

Will You Consider Vinyl Flooring?

If you're planning to remodel or renovate your house, will you consider using Vinyl Composition Tile (or simply Vinyl Tiles) for your flooring and kitchen countertops? If you're budget is quite limited, then most likely, you will absolutely include Vinyl as one of your top choice material alongside with other inexpensive finishing like Ceramic Tiles and Laminated Flooring. Vinyl is not a Linoleum nor a Ceramic finishing but it usually resemble the same appearance.
Vinyl is inexpensive indeed yet you have to buy a special adhesive to attach them. Tiles are typically waxed and buffed using special materials and equipment too. Well, unlike Ceramic Tiles, Vinyl are quite sensitive to heat and the colors easily fade away in a short period of time. And worst, the tiles will start breaking or popping up because of improper application of adhesive or by too much exposure to heat just like what happened to these tiles I saw last weekend. Check how Vinyl tiles lose their alignment and starting to popped up.(It may not be so clear in this picture but if you're going to look closer, you'll see thateach tiles are not aligned properly anymore which is a sign of improper installation or application of adhesive)

Well, in fairness to Vinyl tiles, you can easily replace them by taking out the damaged part and replace it with a new one. But of course, replacement can be very costly especially if you keep on doing it over and over again. If ever I will remodel my own house or kitchen, I would definitely not consider such material. I am not necessarily saying that it's not an ideal one but it's just that, I am considering the quality and durability than anything else. I may have a limited budget but I will definitely save my money just to make use of those high quality materials like Marble or granite most especially for my countertop. They said that the best way to stay out of the blues is to get socialized. I'm not sure if all of you will agree but I am highly in favor with the socialized thing here. Socializing means getting friends and getting along with people that you love and people that you like.

If you're the type of guy who always on the state of solitude and prefer not to mingle with others, then it's time for you to change your lifestyle because isolating yourself to others will bring no good to you. It will just worsen your depression, making it too difficult for you to overcome it.
Depression is a mental disorder and the person who has serious depression should seek for guidance from experts psychiatrist, psychologist or any related field. How do you see yourself 10 years from now? Do you still work under the supervision of your employer or are you going to be the boss of your own business? For someone who is not familiar with the business industry like me, I find starting a business very interesting and fun. I am aware about the risk but just like what they said, you'll never know if you are going to succeed in such field unless you try it.
You just have to courage and the confidence in order to start your business successfully. It may take time and it may require a lot of your patience, but with the hard work and determination, I'm sure all these sacrifices will paid off.
Speaking of Business, have you heard about the "Import Export" trading business? I heard a lot of positive feedback about this nature of business from most of my blogger friends. They used to have these online shop, showcasing their products imported from foreign country.
I find the business really intriguing and I might consider trying it in the future.

There has been an on going argument comparing both Marble and granite finishing. Which of them is considered as the best medium? Which is more economical and which is more practical? Let's make an analogical comparison between the two and let's find out which is much better and which is just okay.
There are major differences between the two even though they are somewhat similar, Granite and Marble are extremely different materials.
►Durability - It is very important to find out how durable the material is. Keep in mind that if ever you choose to have a material that is not so durable, chances are, you will be replacing them over and over again which is really costly. In fairness with Marble and Granite, both of them are highly durable however Granite seems to be better than marble countertop because it is highly resistant to scratch unlike marble which is quite sensitive and would not even allow you to chop, slice or cut on top of it.
►Maintenance - Both of them are immensely beautiful but how hard they are to be maintained? With sealer and special cleaning solution, you can clean both material with no ease however Marble seems to be more porous than granite which means it is very prone to stain most especially if you failed to clean the coutertop on a regular basis. But nevertheless, both of them are highly recommendable.
►Heat Resistant - Granite is more resistant to heat. You can place hot pots on top of it without damaging it's appearance or leaving any stain. As a house owner we should be responsible in making our house regularly maintained and clean as much as we can. Keep in mind that house is a reflection of the owner's personality. Wow! I remember having this phone a long long time ago. I can't remember the model now but as far as I know it is Nokia 3310 (correct me if I'm wrong). Can you imagine that? Time really run out so fast and it seems that it was just yesterday when everyone is so crazy with this one and now the market is flooded with high tech and innovative phones from different well known manufacturers. It seems that every week, a new model will be launched, showcasing new features for their users. There's just too many things that we can do now with our phones aside from the text and call features. Now we have cameras, radio, dual sim, tv, mobile internet, touch screen and more. We have so much things to expect more this coming years and isn't so exciting?

Aside from our phone, there are so many gadgets today that come the long way. Video Cameras for example became slimmer, smaller and more user friendly from being bulky and not so portable device. I've been reading several reliable camcorder reviews online and I was pretty impressed how drastically this device has changed.
