Spartacus

The first time I ever watched Spartacus I was like "the hell did he just said?" If not for the caption, I'll go gaga while rewinding the vids, if not, punch the TV. Malalim na english, may accent pa -- mostly Australian, and you know how the Ausie's speaks. Though they tried to thread out their accent, they ended up the same thing. Anyway, I love the show (not because of Agron ass, or Crixus, or Spartacus, or, damn, Ganicus, no). I watched the show because of the SHOW. Though there's bashing skulls, guts spilled, pools of blood and sex sex sex (and boobs), the show is really good. I have never seen this kind of series before, bold, badass, with foul language you thought your neighbor was the only one who owns the most despicable mouth in the entire planet. Even GoT, known for their bolder climax, cutting heads and all (and boobs, again), they're like kindergartens compare to Spartacus. It's like "woah shit, did they just do that?"

Wait. Yes I know, they are different. One is fantasy, medieval fiction and the other was Spartacus! lol

Last night, while riding home inside the bus, there's this two people beside me. Two girls to be exact, and one of them was... ah... lesbian, and I think they're in a relationship. First I feel awkward to sit with them because, you know, privacy? (yeah right inside the bus) and I thought one of them was a guy with long hair; the tomboy looks like a typical "tomboy" in pre-teen movies, and, mind you, she is beautiful - meztiza. She wears this inverted cap, rolled-up shirt, a vest or a jacket-i-dunno-know, and her voice of which she emphasized as manly (pffft!). Anyway, sweet as they are and having me goosebumps when the girl giggles as the tomboy attempted to kiss her, and I was like "Yoh! Get a room!" But the weirdest part of this was (aside from me having laughing within twenty minutes) was that all the passenger are not looking at them. They're looking at me. SHIT!

Movie to dissect: *glance up*

Genre: PG-13, Suspense, Mystery, Disturbing images as in kinginangyan! (motherbleep!)

Plot: A vengeful (dead) woman raised havoc on a small town blah blah blah, who needs intros anyway? I peed my pants! There, that settles it.

Disclaimer: Before I run down the goods and nuts (along with my other revulsion about the movie) let me remind you people that these reviews of mine are for reading entertainment only. Twenty-four hours ago...

Hmm, let's see. The last time I acted like an idiot and scream like a five-year old (nibbling nails while peaking between fingers in front of a big screen) was about ten years ago, and that movie was Six Sense, and, mind you, the freaking movie itself has a twisted plot like WTF, leaving you with a burst bladder and that long occasional trip to the bathroom because you thought some young girl will yank you to the floor and show you her video. Now, however, my views of psycho-slash-suspense has changed... and that was just last night - and yep how stupid am I to let get that through me. Good lord.

I'm talking about The Woman in Black, and hell this movie is a menacing son of a bitch you'd want to punch somebody in the face. The movie proves you don't need gore to scare the living daylights out of you. All you need is a woman with a bad case of PMS dressed in a black gown and screams like whoa. How many times I knock my coffee mug, shouting "Run, you asshole, RUN!" I lost count. Believe me I have never been so freaked out in my life that my daughter had to shush me down for her to concentrate (note: she was eight). And, if not for the pause button and a vice-like grip gripping my two hands, pinning where I sat, I'd probably ended up smashing the TV into pieces.

Okay so yeah, I exaggerate a bit. It's a cliché horror movie and I'm old enough to deal with this kind of shit, I know, I know, but... did you see her face? My God, she used too much amount of talcum powder as if Sadako has a twin.

And her eyes - yikes!

The Woman in Black is the scariest movie I've ever seen! Well, so far, anyhow. But. Wait. Scratch that. I have no plans to see another movie like this one anyway so yeah, The Woman in Black is the creepiest, most I-peed-my-pants film I ever saw. Damn you Harry for making paranoid out of me! And you too, Daniel! You're the man! This one's IT! Period. (Say I'm lame and I'll smack your head).

The Anatomy of the Agony...

Black never goes out of style, eh?

Once upon a time a woman named Janet Humfrye bore a son named Nathaniel, however, and because out of wedlock (plus she's a nutcase) Alice, the owner of the manor, Eel Marsh, and Janet's sister, adopt the boy and raise as her own. Janet did leave the manor because of that, but returned without any more hush hush since she can't live without her son. Alice agreed and allowed her to be the nanny only with one condition: never reveal her true identity to Nathaniel no matter what. Of course. Yup. Easy to follow. Don't poke a knife inside the oven toaster, whatever. But then again, as crazy she was, who knows.

The boy grew up, all became well, life normal, yada-yada-yada, then the kid died suddenly, succumbed by marsh (mud for you) for the manor itself was surrounded about, cut out from the real world by high tides, and sadly, they never found the body. Of course the mother, who is Janet, after all she'd been through, was devastated, and later committed suicide by hanging...or pleasured herself with the use of Baygon, I don't know (guillotine wasn't available) but either way she succeeds nonetheless after the incident. Years later, Janet, known presently as a bitch wandering ghost, returned to the manor to set her revenge, picked the only gown she could find (apparently black) and starts popping where she wasn't needed; in this case, in front of every child. Rumors said she was the one who cause death of countless children from the nearby town. So, to make the long history short, she became the Angel of Death because she can't deal with her own wacko life.

Fine, I paraphrased a bit. But you get the picture, right?

One week notice...

Harry minus the wand + sideburns

A young solicitor named Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) was sent to the east coast town of Crythin Grifford by his boss (seriously, must have hated his guts) to settle the affairs of Mrs. Alice Drabrow.

Arthur's a widower, his wife died of childbirth, and though it's been four years, he keeps seeing her still (oh-uh). Heartbroken with a fucked up financial problem, plus his boss keeps breathing down his neck, Arthur left his son with the nanny back home and leave without knowing – rip his boss' fucking head off if he does – to a place where, surprisingly, he was not welcome (don't ask too busy covering my eyes). And when he'd reached the said place, Kipps wondered why the people of the town acted weird; children locked inside their homes, while treating him as a threat to their own humanity, pushing him away (not literally though) towards home. He later learned that who ever encountered the Woman in Black (of which by that time he already did when he reached the Eel Marsh) one of the townsfolk's children's gonna die.

Horseshit, of course, all he wants is to do his job so that his boss would give him second chance. Ghost or none.

“Who’s there?”
When he arrived at the manor for the first time, he noticed things shouldn’t been there, like loud thuds of which impossible done by cats, creaking sounds like “hmm, those landings needs repair” and lastly, the woman in a mourning garb outside the house, standing in the garden, inside the perimeters of the manor surrounded by marsh (oh did I mentioned the manor has its own graveyard? Yep, creepy) Obviously, Kipps doesn’t’ believe in ghost or other spooky stuff (hell if he did he’d run into a freaking oblivion) A Question started inside his head then (no, not where’s the bathroom) but Who’s the woman? He did asked the town police about her, only to be ignored.

Kipps met Sam Daily, a wealthy businessman on that area and his wife, Elizabeth. Daily told him that they too lost their son many years back, but Sam disregards the real reason although it’s right there waving at him, unlike his wife Elizabeth, who throws into tantrums each time “son” was mentioned between sentence.

Kipps begged Sam to help him find the body of Nathaniel, Janet’s son, because there’s a slight probability that Arthur’s son might end with the same fate as well (meaning dead). Daily did, and they found Nathaniel’s body under the mud (oh here’s the catch: the boy is still well preserve) And when Arthur thought it’s wise to meddle with the dead, it was too late. You can hear at the end of the movie (if you manage to finish it, yahoo) you can hear Janet’s voice saying “I’ll never forgive, I’ll never forgive!” or in layman’s term “That’s what you get if you fucked up with women!”

What bogs me really is that all of these (sore throat, body cramps) ended up for nothing. The protagonist died in the end. Sheesh.

But it’s good though. Hey at least they live happily ever after… in a dead way, that is.

I was only eleven years old when I saw this movie, and that was on BetaMax and sooooo long ago, like Jurassic age. I don’t understand the plot yet because duh I was so young, that all of my scary-shit moment was donned on Bishop who, by that time, was hacked in two by Mama Alien Queen. And since then the movie itself never escaped me.

A/N: This chapter contains scenes and situations that for some readers may find objectionable and offensive. If you find my work a little odd for you, how the story goes please, don't take it seriously. I just want to write, okay :) My works are unbeta'd, so all mistakes are mine.

CHAPTER 2: THE REDEEMER

Fifteen years ago...

The dark room smelled like copper. Four walls stained with blood. There was a young man in the middle of the room, arms spread eagle-like, feet bound in chains, piercing his skin from his flesh. He was stark naked, hair disheveled, panting, breathing perceptibly, as if the stinking air around the room was the most precious thing on earth.

He knew he would end up this way, his fate would reveal soon, perhaps in an epic fashion. The sons of bitches love to do a show, anyway. This doesn't bother him. He doesn't care about it anymore. Through the years he learned the facts of life: we all live and we all die, simple as that.

Fuck them all, he doesn't give a shit if he's a suicidal... but he will never ever let go of his last breath for nothing. And though he was in pain now, there's a mocking smile plastered on his face. As if this whole macabre ordeal was a big joke - not unless the dozen prying eyes watching him on the other side of the two-way mirror enjoying it, he had to change his mind otherwise.

But if his hands were unbound, he'd probably raised a fist and middle finger in the air.

"My patience is nearly drifting, my boy...” A grappling voice sounded around the room, followed by a static feedback from the speaker. “This is your last chance."

Heard that before... the young man bit his lower lip, for each time he said nothing but gibberish response spewed from his lips, the wire clipping upon his breast and around his neck jolted him over to give him an agonizing pain. But then again, it gains even a more audacious repose, and they hated that even more.

Bring it on, asshole!

“What? I can't hear you. Speak louder.”

He was tired. His mind was tired. The pain alone was tired to be inflicted; there's nothing on his body could place the pain itself. It's been three hours since he was dragged inside the room, blindfolded and drugged, and someone came after that - only to beat him to a pulp, clubbed him, whipped him after violating his body, as if like the tormentor was deft or really doesn't give a damn because he was just a piece of shit. The young man knew who his tormentor was, and the torture was just part of the show. He could have fake the rape session while counteracts with the script, but apparently, at this very day, the act alone, and the reason, was undeniably different. The beating was not some kind of erotic foreplay before the grandeur finale. It was a punishment. He had done something very unthinkable he has to go through all of these as the price.

However, the price was nothing to him. They could beat him up for a week for all he cares and still his mind would not break. For how many a time the same question was asked of him, the answer was always the same. Fuck you.

Then suddenly he snorted... And after a few moments, he laughed. Loudly. He laughed as if there's no pain to cause him to shut up. “I zeid bringithown... hasshole!”

On the other side of the chamber a man stood, hands clasped to his back, face relaxed while watching the audacious youth keenly with his soft brown eyes. He was called the Director, and as the puppeteer, he should have applauded to himself for he knows he had done a good job of bringing up a good show today. In between punishment and the macabre exhibition, the cast, or, as for this show's feature, the youth's Punishers was given the privilege to “do as you like” impromptu-style, to show the reason why the patrons needed to increase their bidding. However, the audience behind him felt the lacking. There's something missing in the picture. The Director knew what it was, or who it was. The clock is ticking, that every now and then his eyes landed on his watch. The goal to break the young man was nowhere near successful. This will cause a formidable insult to his stature.

"Again," he said, ordering the man sitting in front of him to press the red button one more time.

"He will die if we keep this up, Sir."

"I don't care! Again!"

The sound of the microphone died, and the thing happened next was the one thing they all expected.

The brown orb of the boy's eyes disappeared, pushing itself under its lid. His mouth spewed white, whilst blood coming out from his nostrils. His body became rigid, his muscles' stiff. The voltage passing through the wire to his veins torments his entire being. And the pain constantly changed. It should numb him by now, but no. The pain seeped even into his soul.

"We can do this all day, and there's a hundred buttons here to choose from,” said the man behind the speaker. “So don't get so cocky.”

“Fuhckyou!”

“Where are they, and please answer it now since I am bored pressing the same button for four hours."

"We dontyah blow me... yah good at it, riiiight?"

“You're one stupid boy!”

“Henim glad tuh disappoint yah.”

Silence lingered for a moment, all eyes on the Director. The ten patrons sitting behind raised a brow at him as he glanced back at them. Humiliation, humiliation...

"Szayel." The brown-eyed man called, voice fuming.

The white suited man stepped forward. "Yes?"

"We're wasting time. See to it that our guests here see where their money's worth. Do what you have to do."

Though it was dark, the devilish grin showed upon the face of the pink headed man. Szayel purred. "Love to."

The lights turned on, brightened the room, and the steel door started to open. The young man slowly lifted his head and saw a vague image of the tall man with fucking pink hair, whom he expected to see, standing right in front of him.

“Hellooow mothafukah... finally yah showed up...”

"You know why I'm here, don't you?"

"Yeah. Tell me, exactly haw many times duh I have to tell yah guh fuck yurselves?" He shifted a little to lessen the pain from his left rib, his breathing was harsh. "Lemme give you insights though, since yah'r persistent: perhaps and probably halfway tuh the authorities now tuh whip yur ass."

Szayel giggled, flipping his pink strand away from his face with practiced ease. "Oh dear, is that all you've got? No one can touch me, my sweet insignificant fool. Haven't you learned? Police, you say? I owned them, if you must know. In fact one of their chiefs is here, watching you. Try another one."

"Why don't yah just leave themmelone, yah already had me! Leave them be!"

"I can't do that, you know. I wouldn't aloud my pets wandering around without a leash; it's against the law of sanitation."

The young man heard a soft giggles behind the speaker. Pets. Pets. They considered them as pets!

He snarled. "Wur not animals, yah freak!"

"Who says you have to be?"

"Em going tuh kelyah!"

"Oh please, you can't even lift a finger." He stepped closer and lifted the boy's chin. "Now, I'll ask you one more time - and trust me I'm getting bored here. And you know me, I'm nicer when satisfied. Where is..." He jolted back, as he felt a sticky reddish slime landed on his face. Golden eyes narrowed, lips thinned, Szayel wiped the spit away with the back of his gloved hand. "Fuck!"

"Halreadydid," the young man said, then he laughed wholeheartedly. But his cackles stop when Szayel yanked his hair, forcing him to glance up. "Want more?"

"No, but he does - Medezeppi!"

From the corner of the young man's eye, he saw a large man walking towards them. Szayel released him and stepped back. A crack of a whip was sounded after - was it really the whip or the sound of skin tearing from the flesh?

The young man screamed; the whip landed countless times across his back, thighs and arms.

Szayel grinned; the whip has thorns.

"Enough!" An impatient voice came from the speaker. "End this now, Szayel!"

"Glad to,” Szayel said levelly. He turned to the boy. “Well it seems the show must come to an end. Too bad I have no time to fuck you.” He turned away and faced the wall. “We admired your courage, my boy. And I like that in a man. However..."

The sound of steel was next, echoed to the wall and back, and the young man's eyes began to wide.

Zangetsu.

"I don't like you. I don't like your guts. If you can't tell me where they are..." Szayel raised the blade above his head. "Hate to say this, but you have to die."

"W-wait…”

“Oh what now?”

“Lemme say goodbye first..."

Szayel sneered. "Whatever."

Tanned pained eyes lifted towards the ceiling and smiled.

Goodbye you two… remember me.

Blood splattered the floor, splattered the white dress of the man who wield the sword. It doesn't bother him, though. He likes to see red.

And, at the same time, he likes to see heads rolling beneath his feet.

Up at the ventilating system, a voice was mimed, shutting by the used of two hands. Tears rolled down his cheeks, mind screaming for the name as he saw his friend's tragic death from the slit hole of a cramp space. There were two of them who witnessed it, arguing silently if they should surrender themselves few hours ago to save the other. But their friend, who took the anguish and pain and death, would never forgive them if they did. A tug from the torn sleeve woke his reverie, and Renji saw two moistened dark eyes of Shuuhei, pleading him to move. It was hard for them to leave but they must. By morning they'll be back to fetch the body of Ichigo Kurosaki, dumped somewhere by the lake, or by near highways, or by anywhere. Wherever will be, they are going to find him and they don't give a shit even if it's in hell.

The whole night of running and walking made their bodies numb, their eyes sore and dried, no more tears to cry. No one spoke nor tempted to ask what each other felt; their feet do the talking. At the young age of fifteen, they know death was mandatory, but taking lives of a simple boy was unfair. Ichigo doesn't deserve his own end, nobody deserves each ends especially if taken by force. Renji halted abruptly and huddled down, recalling the brown eyes staring at him thirteen hours ago. Shuuhei pulled him up without a word, saying silently they have to go on, move somewhere safe and rest. Soon hunger will deplete them, least rest would regenerate them. An hour later they found themselves sitting beside an empty road, browns and greens dancing, rolling in front of them. A deserted area, they assured, but every place has a name and from where they sat they have no idea where they are.

"Any time now..."

"What?" Shuuhei glanced at Renji. It was first word they said to each other since their escape. "Any time what?"

"Some vehicle should appear anytime..." Renji chided his chin towards north, where roads dwarf away from where they sat.

"And then what?"

Renji wished it was a rhetorical question. "We must go somewhere, anywhere but here."

"But what about..." Shuuhei bit his lower lip. But what about Ichigo?

Renji stared at the dirt in front of him, as if there's an answer there or a note he could read. "I'll bring him back. I promise I'll bring him back."

Shuuhei nodded. "We," he said, and wrapped his arms around Renji's shoulder. "We're going to bring him back. Both of us."

Renji looked at him and nodded in return. They sat there head upon the shoulder of another, waited till the sun goes up again.

"Is he alright?"

Renji ignored the voice and thought he was just only dreaming. His body was so weak he can't even tell if he's sleeping or - against his will - dead.

He tried to open his eyes but the bright light blinded him and decided to shut his eyelids tighter.

There were shadows. Three shadows to be exact, and one of them began to move to his side, brushed his crimson hair away from his face and touched his cheek and forehead.

"Can't believe you'd survive this, kid," these were the last few words he had heard when he felt his body was lifted from the dry soil he'd been sleeping for the past two days.

They. They were they, two of them. That's right! Shuuhei! Where's Shuuhei?

Recalling about his friend, he jolted up. There were heads turning towards him but to his astonishment, none of them owned the face he was looking for. Then his amber eyes started to roam, searching and searching. It was dark now, his entire body was succumbed by the dark interior of some kind, but he can still feel the warm afternoon from the half open window, where he can see the contrast of the browns and gold of the desert. He was in a limousine.

"You're safe, kid. It will be all right."

Renji turned, followed the voice. There, sitting not far away from him was a man, and sprawling next to the man was the familiar form of Shuuhei, sleeping peacefully. The sight was so comical Renji forgot what question he should ask first.

"He told me," the man said, motioning his head towards Shuuhei, "to wake him up after you. Should I?"

Renji shook his head.

"Are you brothers?"

Renji shook his head again, and though it was obvious the man knows the answer speaks more volume than shaking heads.

"What is your name?"

"Why?" Renji knew it was rude to ask something like that, especially to someone who rescued them from the brink of death. But the man was a stranger, and so was the man who asks his name before, the one who sheltered them, feed them, nurtured them, enslaved them, fucked them and then throws them into the brothel to sell their youth and innocence. The one who killed his friend was also a stranger like this man and Renji doesn't know if he can trust a living, breathing person again. Asking his name?"Fuck you, how's that?"

Renji felt a movement behind him, and within the blink of an eye, the man with the silver hair grabbed his neck and shoved him to the side.

"Stop it."

Renji tries to get away, but those hands were strong.

"I said let him go. Now."

To Renji's surprised, the hand around his neck loosened. He was coughing hard when the fare-headed man spoke.

"I told you to leave them behind."

"It's not for you to decide, Gin. You were once like them."

"No I'm not, Sōsuke. I'm telling you this one is a snake. Who knows what wit they had learned from an empty space."

"That's enough, Gin. Don't start with me."

This man, this called Sōsuke, Renji mentally noted, there's something about him. Though his voice was soothing to the ear, soft and calm, there's a certain iron will in it.

Because when Renji glanced back at the man who choke him a moment ago, jaw tightened and eyes glaring, has now shied away.

"I apologize for my friend here," Sōsuke said. "He was just... doing his job."

"Your friend?" Renji asked.

"And my assistant." Sōsuke leaned forward, revealing his features. Soft brown eyes, pointed nose, thinned lips. Renji awed by what he saw up close, especially when those lips beamed a little.

He looks so... young.

"I will not ask your name again," Sōsuke continued. "You can tell me when you are ready."

"And... who are you, guys?"

"We're just…” he waved a hand, “Business man. I am Sōsuke Aizen, and this is Gin Ichimaru - don't worry he doesn't bite. And that one is..." He laughed. "I forgot our chauffeur's name, silly of me. He's new. Hungry?"

Renji just stared.

"Of course, you are. Gin?"

"What?"

"Give the boy something to eat."

"Why me?"

"Cause I'm telling you to."

Gin growled silently and lowered his upper body. He took something from the cabinet Renji thinks it was the fridge. "Here-" Gin shove a Bento box to Renji's chest. "It's all we have left. Your friend here eats like a coyote."

Renji stared at the food, then to Sōsuke, who nodded back. "Go ahead," he encouraged the young man. "After that, rest, sleep. I'll wake you when we get home."

Renji blinked. "Home?"

Sōsuke nodded. "Yes. Home. We are going home."

Fifteen years later...

The sun peaked between the blinds and the bright pencil-light beams directly to the now contorted face of Shuuhei Hisagi.

He lazily lifted his arm and eyed his watch. Fuck, he's late. Why did he ever think of drinking last night? He should have declined the invitation of a client, who thought of him as a genius by inking their whole body with an image of a mermaid. Never mind that; he had a massive headache to think about first.

Wincing, he grabbed the phone and dialled a number. Busy. Try again. Still busy. Goddammit. The busy tone irritates him. Shuuhei groped his face and sighed deeply. Patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue. It's only a freaking phone, for God sake! Use text message, you moron!

Tossing the phone away, he saw the clock above the bedside table. The red needle had stopped -the hell?- out of battery! Groaning, he pushed his body from the bed and dragged his wobbly legs to the bathroom. He turned the shower slowly like a safebreaker, then yelped as the cold stream darted his body. The phone, the clock, the shower, none works with him perfectly these days.

He strode downstairs and went straight to the kitchen. Shuuhei's apartment was too big for him. A bachelor, yes, but the whole floor was too much. He had casual roommates before but that was long gone. Shuuhei is a private man and he cannot implore himself that much to strangers. Trust was the last thing on his list.

Passing the hallway, he noticed the TV was on. He winced; he had too much booze he forgot to turn it off last night.

Wait. Did I really...?

He shrugged and opened the fridge, grabbed whatever food his rumbling stomach craves. Soup, he needs soup.

There's none. His schedules' piled up he forgot the groceries. Okay, so let's go to basic then. His throat was sore and his taste buds became useless from alcohol; he needed a kick. Anchovies? No way. Ah! Bacon, that's good. He was roaming around the kitchen routinely and ten minutes later, his buttered toast, bacon and eggs, are ready. He finished his breakfast with two cups of coffee and Advil.

Shuuhei glanced at his watch again as he smooth the last morsel from his plate. Ten minutes before ten. He nodded. Good thing his shop was only a block away. While shoving the dishes inside the dishwasher, his ears wad at the sound from the living room. He jolted - felt like he was dumped by a pitcher-full of ice water - as the Flash Report bounced from the corridor:

"... Breaking News: Well known Surgeon and philanthropist, Dr. Szayel Aporro Granz, was found dead inside his residence..."

Shuuhei dropped the dishes, it was smashed to the floor. What...and ran towards the living room, hitting the volume like a deft man of war. The doctor was murdered inside his mansion. His body was found inside his room, partially skinned and swimming in his own blood, blah, blah, blah, Shuuhei didn't give a shit about the details, all he wants to know was is it all true.

And it is true. The timid lady, the anchor, who's showing her serene face while reporting, as if the news bores her, says so. How about the conclusion? And who is the killer? Enough talking shit, spit it out for god's sake! He's getting pissed about how the story was told, as if the death itself has no basis, as if the doctor was just another victim of some sort of robbery. He was skinned and that was a robbery? What, is that how the tripping goes these days? Bullshit.

He pulled his lazy chair and grabbed the phone. He was halfway to dial a number when the face of Dr. Granz emerged from the screen, along with his awards and recognition, his ridiculous pink hair, his golden eyes under the silver-framed glasses, glimpsing at the camera like a saint. Fucking psycho... Shuuhei was between throwing the remote or the phone towards the TV. Grave anger started to seep his veins. That man, that sickening man!

Finally he turned the TV off. His chest tightens. He should have killed the man long time ago, and now someone out there had done the job for him. He felt envious, guilty, ashamed. Granz doesn't deserve to die at the hands of a neophyte crook, whose only goal is to steal whatever glows around that fucking mansion, to supply their addicting needs. Granz was in a wrong place at the wrong time, and that was stupid.

Fifteen years. For fifteen years, Shuuhei suffered the memory. That fucking bastard deserves better than this. If he had a chance to gloat the man, Shuuhei would surely nail the freak to the cross, or rip his freaking head off, hacked his body into million pieces, then feed them to the dogs!

But it was too late. No one can bring back the dead to be killed again.

Shuuhei dropped his head forward, palming his forehead. What a waste.

Then... wait. He snapped his eyes open. Did she say they found him inside his room naked?

Abruptly, Shuuhei run towards the drawer, where the small calendar was displayed.

January twenty-first.

I see...

He fished his cell phone from his pocket. He had to cancel today's tattoo schedule. Then after ridiculous reasoning, promises and jest to the person holding the other line, he hanged up, grabbed something from the drawer and run towards the door.

Took you long enough, you sly son of a bitch...

The Fox has returned, and Shuuhei Hisagi knew why.

Drawing closer to the mausoleum, flowers in his hand, he noticed that the door was slightly ajar. He's here. He ran to the Paveway and pushed the door wide. He ignored the loud bang as the door hit the wall behind it. His eyes squinted to the dark chilling place of the mausoleum. He frowned. No one was there except for the marble base where the sealed casket was rested.

Fool. You're imagining things...

Puffing a breath, he walked towards the tomb to lay the flowers. "Sorry about that," he said and smiled at the encrypted name on the side of the tomb. "The keeper must have left the door open after cleaning the place." He sat on the marbled floor and drew his legs towards his chest, something he always do when he was alone. Patting the edge of the tomb, he said, whispering, "How are you, Ichigo? Been busy these days" – he looked around. No vandals. Good. "Hey guess what, I have news for yah. Dunno if you want to hear it, I have my hard time learning it too but—"

Shuuhei jerked around and drew his gun - Glock .19 - and aimed to the dark ends of the mausoleum. There was a shadow there, he can sense it. "Who's there?" He inched forward, eyes narrowed. "Show yourself."

Shuuhei heard a soft snort, and a few seconds later the sound of footsteps came. He lowered his weapon as the image of a tall man with long crimson hair and tattooed skin appeared in front of him.

Renji.

"Hello, Shuu. Nice reflex, by the way."

No words came from Shuuhei. Although this is the one he expected, still it gives him a great deal of surprise.

He looked away. So thus Renji. They became silent for a while. And when Renji stood beside his friend, Shuuhei fisted his hand and gave him a square in the jaw. The redhead felt his neck snapped as his head flung sideways.

Keeping his balance while massaging his jaw, he looked straight into Shuuhei's eyes. "What the fuck is that for?"

Panting, Shuuhei said, "That's for leaving me behind, you bastard!"

I said from my previous post that I’m suffering writer’s block and my attention span is shorter than my hair. I want to finish my ff, I really do, and it’s been weeks since this dilemma of mine keeps on poking, banging my head. I searched the entire net to find a cure – none of it works (I think). But guess what, yesterday I had found a remedy (Yehey!)

I was with my boss, talking to a client, when this idea of mine pops in my head. In the middle of our meeting, while yours truly presenting her designs, one colleague of mine was rolling a piece of paper, and I thought he was bored or something, but when I asked him later that day what was that for he said, “to draw numbers – so that next time we’re not going to point fingers who’s who will represent the project”.

Er?

Shocks! Why didn’t I think about that before!

So yeah, after shaking him as my gesture of thanks (literally – by the shoulder) for his simple idea, I grabbed my keys and went straight home. I cut twenty pieces of small paper and wrote in them each of my works, and shove it in a bowl, shaking it for few seconds then draw one roll and... there it is – the FF that I’m going to finish next.

Also, I found out too that my prob is not writer's block. I just couldn't decide which one's which XD

Movie to dissect: Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn

Genre: Romance, fantasy, good vampires, badass vampires, werewolves, shirtless dudes, smut smut smut, and other things I couldn't even pronounce Argh!

Plot: Hail "Love can move mountains" cause pretty boy vampy and emo-girl proved those A-holes what love can do if you really put your fangs - heart! – into it. And to piss everyone more, they finally tied the knots hurhurhur.

And oh! There's a baby involved here resulting from a barbaric love making ^_^

Disclaimer: Before I run down the goods and nuts - along with my other revulsion about the movie - let me remind you people that these reviews of mine are for reading entertainment only. The views and opinions presented here are solely my own and not necessarily represent as facts, so please don't take it seriously, for crying out loud.

Okay for those who haven't seen the movie sorry 'bout the Spam Alert. It caught anyone's attention - even mine and I can't believe I'm doing this - for the reason it's the talk of the town, that you don't have to pay a brow-raised prices or hunt down every pirated dvd's to know it all. Everywhere you look, in between news, radio shows, in the newspapers, network sites, YOUTUBE - POW, it's there! Heck even a nine-year old girl know's what Edward and Bella wears when they're... er... nevermind!

The much awaited movie of the year finally comes and indeed peeps all over the world played the part of ransacking every joint just to see it and meegawd, there's no moviehouse without those long lines of Twilight fanatics like last survivor on earth screaming and wailing you thought your ears gonna bleed. Breaking Dawn was perhaps the most titillating and excruciating movie ever made among the Twilight Sagas...

Er?

Wait. Erase that. I may be mistaken, because I've heard most fans have their own version of Huh moment the time the movie ended... hmmm took them long enough. Funny even my friend - and she's a fanatic believe me - scratched her head while showing her 'wtf' expression towards me. She's expecting something like 'I told you so' after screaming her anxiety to my face. But thus I seized myself. I want to hear more about how pissed off she was, really. One fan down hurhurhur XD

Breaking Down maybe the highlight of Edward-Bella love affair but really, and I mean REALLY, some plots have WTF and illogical sense... hmmm as if that was new O.o. Like for instance. What's with the old fashion-I'm-a-virgin-thing? Oh please that can't be true? Edward the Immortal? Virgin? Shocks! If Bella's the first girl ever to bed Edward then woopeefuckingdoo for you girl, these days you can't have that kind of a man in a gazillion years.

Imagine countless girls (and gays) who dreamed to be in Bella's shoes when the Vanity Fair-style wedding flashed the screen. And what's more, see that alabaster form strip-off his remaining clothes as if you want to grow fangs so that you can gnaw that sunuhvabitch right then and there. However, if Bella (oh I wish) was smart enough when the revelation slapped her face, she doesn't to be a genius to do the math.

If a guy claims he's celibate for a century, then I think there's a problem there, deary.

I mean Edward is what, a hundred years old, and before that he's a human before some plague bites his ass? Or better yet, Dr Cullen thought of something humane and save the dying young man from croaking? Oh come one! Humans, especially guys, do silly things while in puberty. If these ideas did wake Bella's brain cells she might have to say, "Edward, you nitwit, you once a life-breathing teenager with normal colored skin and know how to use combs, my freaking goodness sweetheart, what the hell is wrong with you??"

But the film itself, I admit, captured the taste of nextgen teenage girls and middle-aged women (okay some guys too) and producers can't have that everyday. Although there's countless CG's have made for this film (perhaps Jacob's abs XD) the fans droop on emotions, the scenery, the themes. They don't care if Edward grew fangs in odd places, they don't care if Jacob has these hormonal imbalances and urged to pound everything that moves, they don't care how the hell Bella delivers her blank expression, they don't care what the other characters do when they pissed, as long the story fits, the true power of love, the dubious outcomes of Right vs. Wrong, either from the protagonist or the anti's - the fans don't give a shit. It spikes them, they relate, dunno how, but it did. Perhaps the psychological thinking of people that, for many years, they long to have happily ever after. Well, who wouldn't? Who wouldn't want to be swooped off their feet by a charming, handsome young (?) man, and another handsome (shirtless) young man, battling one another just to have your attention, give everything what you wish, even the head of Medusa on a stick? Just imagine. Ooh what a squeeeeealing moment that would be XP.

The tug of war of the insatiable love affair of which, for example, Jacob's longing for Bella who promise to be there to protect her and cherish her until his last shredding comes to an end - while mutely hide his irritation to this other dude and doesn't know if he'll curse himself for not ripping the guy's white freaking head off when he had a chance - was perhaps the most pathetic and, at the same time, romantic part of the movie (shut up, it's my POV anyway). Think about it: Jacob is the stand-out-guy, the lay-your-head-upon-my-shoulder kinda martyr who can't see straight; the second choice if all fucks up in the end, but has the abs of a hulkster features. He's a good guy and damn sexy one too, and we can all chorus if that yummy-yummy part of his becomes literally alive so we can all eat 'em raw *drooling*

Huh? *slap slap slap* WTF was that??

So okay let's just say how bitchy it was for Bella not choosing the poor bastard and have Edward instead. Wait. Does anyone notice she always attracts the not-normal? (Whoah shit! Quick! Hide the Unicorn!) Even before that she couldn't see the difference between a normal guy and a dude who can suck you up dry. Weird. Creepy. Yikes! Anyway, Bella Swan is the heroine of the film (was and hopefully will over soon - oh please god) and the love of Edwards life and became Bella Swan-Cullen the Vampire's Wife after few scrutinizing years. Who would have thought that could happen, I mean who would have thought someday Edward will fall in love with dinner, or worse, married dinner? The amour between them proved – though shit at times – desensitize even the improbable. But Bella, whom thinks otherwise before, throws it all, took her chances, and blared the I do with the man she loves. Yup, parody.

But Bella is a human. Edward is a vampire. And when you put that two together, what will you get...?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Yet noooooooooo. This is a romance fantasy film so impossibles is possible. (Sorry guys, need more powers here O.o)

Oh and here's more - there's a baby. A baby, mind you, who grew limbs in nanoseconds inside Mommy Bella's tummy (and I thought I had laid the fuck ups but sheeesh, it keeps getting better and better). So yeah after all the roundabout wars of the worlds, Bella and Edward finally settled down, got married, hump-hump-hump then boom - baby!

Here's the catch...

The unborn child of the couple will be the superbly human-slash-vampy half-breed abomination the enemies wants to lay hands upon (I think O.o) Michael Sheen who portrays the leader werewolf Lucian in Underworld 1 & 3, and now a vampire head named jkfjnjs-fuck-the-name-hucares, heard about the child, and his hands went go gaga to have it.

But of course the good guys - Jacob Black's butt-licking pacts and Bella's one of a kind in-laws - must save the day (finders-keepers you jerks!), and while both vampires plotting around, batting eyelashes with each other while blurring wattahfuckscript, Bella, who suffered all the ancestral war shit, finally gave birth in a gruesome premature way. My friend described how macabre it was her eyes popped out, as she saw how badass poor Bella delivery was as if Caezarians are made for kindergartens. They slice her smooth tummy without any help of anesthesia while the mother in the making is silently cursing everyone around, especially to Edward who haven't done a thing but to have that load of bricks kinda guilt of why he never thought of not pounding his wife in the first place, let alone for not using condoms (oh for fuck sakes!) and just pray to godknowswho to save her. What were you thinking, Edward? Did you take crazy-pills or something? Sheesh. Men.

Bella's character is kinda... blank. I dunno how to describe her but that. However, and honestly, she's a dish - if closing her mouth was not included. She's one example of "I fear but I must" and by knowing her by watching, you can tell she's one strong woman - if you define it as a figure of speech. One thing that extract her from others - including vampires - was her mind is impenetrable. She's one walking block-slapping-brain girl. No one knows what's inside her coconut head (and perhaps herself too). According to the book "she was born in Forks, Washington, and lived with her mother, growing up mainly in Riverside, California, and Phoenix, Arizona" - of which I find it stupid, obviously her skin color was pale.

Okay so... yeah. Writer's block is what, about things you can't reciprocate through writing, or, better yet, can't unleash what's on your mind? -- in short, you're procrastinating and you have no idea how to pronounce the damn word!

I don’t tend to be a writer, but I started writing bunch of stuff, nonsense stuff, since I was nineteen, and five years later I started to write about what I thought would be "my start of something big". I was into a novel, my first, a fantasy one, and finished the draft seven years ago. Of course as a newbie you have to "know what you write" and make sure you're not developing idiocy out on you. That time I don't know anything about writer's block, I thought it was normal like "I'm tired – I'm gonna do this tomorrow" thing and then leave it that way. But not until it hit me one day, and my mind, emotion, passion, went all down to a drain. And when I started editing the draft I made… shit, it was a disaster. What the hell happened to me, I dunno. I have my own world once, but when I saw the outside world, my nightmare started. Aside for my fantasy work, I have done some other stories too (thirty plus originals and ten short stories) and none, take note, none of them are published. I even have a FanFiction, and that too flew away. I have a short attention span, and I'm easily annoyed by noise. I can't work in an environment with people and pets roaming around. I snapped when someone asked me a question while I'm in a verge of concentration (ask my spouse, he knows what kind of bitch I am when it comes to that). And the worst part, someone says my English is not that damn good. Yeah. Good. Thank you for the help. For having English as a second language in our country (of which we have more than a hundred tongues under our belt), I might take that as an exception. But when you start revealing the notes under the pen, you have to have a guts to show them. And that part, I have a problem.
You don't know what I'm talking about, do you?
Anyway, just ignore it. I'm just expressing things, that's all.

Year: 2010
Genre: Mythology, Gods and Goddesses, heroes and men, dudes with muscles, protagonist with issues XD
Plot: Angered by men, the Gods finally gave their wrath and punished those who wronged them. No really, they did O.O

Hades, the brother of Zues and Poseidon, and King of the Underworld waited for his revenge against his family who tricked him by making him the ruler of the dead. And that day finally came when the people of Argos thought they were so cool they defiled the Gods and turned against them. Idiots.

"I'm gonna do what?"

Meanwhile Perseus, the umpteenth son of Zeus to a mortal woman, was with his adoptive parents when all the maddening events happened. And the result, his father, along with his mother and his little sister, died (in this event they were drowned – they were fishermen), and the only one left alive was Perseus.

Perseus was rescued by Draco, a soldier from Argos, after Perseus family's boat was dragged under the ocean, and luckily survived and let himself float. But when Draco found out what the boy's true identity he imprisoned him. Bummer.

While in prison, sulking, lamenting the good old days, Perseus met a mysterious woman named Io and told the young lad she was her protector-slash-stalker since the day Perseus was born. Perseus also learned that he was a demi-god; half human half god, and his father was none other than Zeus who, Perseus noted irritably, his foster father and along with the rest of the mortals, had lost faith with - the reason of all these fuck ups, and Perseus was like “Anymore bad news, bitch? Bring it on!” lol

Before the Journey...

Believing he was a good use, the ruler of Argos, King FuckedUp, offered, or better yet, begged Perseus to save their asses from the Kracken of which in ten days, as Hades forecast, will come for Andromeda to be the beast's date...or dinner...or lunch...or whatever. Perseus agreed, though inside his only goal is to be another idiot in the making; fight the Gods who'd cause the death of his parents. He later joined the band of heroes and find these witches called the Stygians – the only remedy to save the day O.o. They packed their things, wear their battle gears; helmets, swords, spears, bows and arrows, and then marched head high towards the gates and out of Argos, half thinking where the fuck they gonna find these old bitches anyway?? XDD

The Stygians are the three Gray women who are blinds, or literally, no eyes but one and that they shared it to one another (talking about hygiene huh?) When the gang found them over the high misty, dim mountains, Perseus used his wit and tricked the Gray women by taking the eye and would throw it away if his question has not been answered (witty bastard). The trick worked and they blurred out all the answers Perseus needed to know. The witches said they must go to Medussa and take her head...or something like that. They left the mountains immediately after that and followed the Stygians' instruction. They've been warned, too, that this Medussa monster would be difficult one to capture, let alone whack her head off from her neck. But the group Perseus' with were experienced warriors. But before this account had happened, they came across with much perilous adventure. While resting in the forest Draco trained Perseus how to fight. They have this blah blah between them first, argued about why this unknown young man, and son of the most powerful God at that, happens to be a jerk. Perseus said he doesn't want any help from his so-called father or from any of the Gods for that matter. He will do the job his way, and no one, not even Io's twinkling eyes, can tell him what or how he must do it. And all of them looked at him with pride and vigour. The lad has spirit...

...or maybe they just want to say "yep it's official. This kid is a whacko."

Evening came, still in the forest, Zeus decided to give his son a weapon, a sword, fashioned only for a god-like, forged from the Mt. Olympus, and because Perseus is a half-breed, he's the only one who can use the weapon. But then again, asshole he was, he declined. Reason: same thing. But Draco took the weapon for safekeeping, just in case the boy finally comes to his senses.

The Pegasus and the one ugly mother...

"Whoah that's one big...er...cook"

Preparing to leave, Perseus saw a winged beast called Pegasus, and Io - she's with them, and she keeps butting in - said the beast cannot be tamed easily; no one can mount it. But it was message, an aid from the Gods. Perseus has this duh face but managed to touch the beast. And when he thought he had a moment there with Io, they heard a scream from one of their comrades. Perseus followed the scream and there, right in front of him, appeared the ugliest mudahfuckah he ever seen, Calibos, ripping one of their man in two.

Calibos was King Acrisius cursed form. He's the husband of Perseus' mother, Danae, and the one who locked them inside the box and then threw them into the sea. He's a madman indeed, but who wouldn't after seeing his wife bedded by another and the worst, by Zeus himself. Zeus tricked Danae by masquerading as her husband, and right after she make love to him, Acrisius entered the room and bingo, all hell breaks loose.

"Trust me. You need a facial..."

He had lost his mind, and Danae and poor baby Perseus suffered the consequences. But Zeus punished him, I dunnu for insulting Zeus or throwing the poor mother and child to the sea. But either indeed was worth it, for Arcrisius ran away and never return to the land he once ruled. Hades took this chance and asked the Acrisius-slash-Calibos to help him with his revenge to Zeus. Calibos agreed and hunt the now grown up bastard who seek the truth behind killing the Kracken.

So he found the boy he thought he had been killed many years ago. They did fight; Perseus' trying – Calibos enjoying. But oh fuck Calibos was strong. Hades gave him powers to outnumber the young lad. However they are many. Draco’s gang came and flanked him. Shit, Calibos had to flee. They wounded and bleed him, dripping the stone, dripping the sand. Wooopeeedoo. That’s right, ran you bastard. But of course our hero was a hot-headed young son of god, and wants to prove he’s not just a fisherman. He followed the whining Calibos to the open and shit, what was he thinking? He should have stayed in Argos and let himself decay, for he saw something much worse while playing tag with the ugly mudahfuckah. There, from the blood of the cursed king, spawned a Scorpion the size of ten orgying elephants, and Perseus was like “Watdahfuckwuzdat!”

So yeah the Bigass Scorpions, wretched they was, scared the hell out of everyone, but Perseus managed to kill some of them while Draco, and the rest of his dreadlock men, kill the others. Perseus was sting by one of the Scorpions and Io assumed he would die if there’s no immediate remedy (duh).

But there was a remedy – tadah! - The Djinn.

The Djinn are groups of desert sorcerers who also wanted the Gods be punished. Though the Djinn and the group of men Perseus with had history against each other, still they agreed the aid and the Djinn settled with it.

Perseus, his group, and the Djinn, arrived where the Stygians’ live, destroyed their interior decoration and then left them with one good cause; Medusa. As they prepared to party where the gorgon dwelt, the Underworld, Zeus – sheesh took you long enough – appeared and approached his son. The King of the Gods offered Perseus immortality and be one of them. But Perseus declined, and Zeus gave him a golden coin called drachma instead, to use as a bribe for the ferryman of the Underworld.

Perseus entered the Underworld and awed – like wondered what was that smell?? lol - they waited for Charon, the weirdest ferryman they’ll gonna see, to appear before them, and when he did they used the bribed and sailed away.

Medusa on PMS mode

The Tale of Medusa...
Medusa was a gorgon, a half woman-half serpent, dreadful monster with snakes for her hair and eyes who can turn men into stone. Io said (in this story) that Medusa was once a beautiful woman. So beautiful even Poseidon urged himself to violate her. Athena, in rage, found out about this and punished her instead of helping her. The goddess of wisdom turned the beautiful Medusa into a gorgon so that no one can ever look at her the same way again...and that’s one bitter bitch if you ask me XP.

Io was left behind, for the reason a woman was forbidden to enter the gorgon’s lair *shrugged*. Perseus, the Woodman which was Djinn, Draco, Solon, Eusebius, and Ixas entered the cave – oh before that there’s a powerful speech there made by Perseus but who cares – and then they encountered Medusa, resulting Solon was the first one to go...dead. Draco was next but only to be fatally wounded and Eusebius and Ixas turned immediately into a paper weight after that. The Djinn and Draco then sacrifice themselves to wound Medusa so that Perseus could whack her head off and end their fucking misery.

Happy now, Perseus took the gorgon’s head and left to meet Io outside. There he saw Calibos once again, creeping behind Io and ended up killing her. The two battled once again, pinning Perseus to the ground. Perseus finally realized how stupid it was to use a mortal weapon when fighting the likes of Calibos who’s beating the shit out of him, and uses the sword Zeus gave him. He killed Calibos by piercing him to the heart, and while in death, Acrisius appeared and talked to him. His last words was like “You should have done that before, you asshole” but the real words are “Don’t become one of them.”

Perseus stoop down and held dying Io in his arms, saying to her like blah blah, and her blah blah in return. It was foretold that Perseus destiny is to save Argos from the Kracken and Andromeda from lunch, and Io said that in a real convincing way before their journey started. Off he goes, with new goal and ass kickin' weapon, Perseus uses Pegasus and flew where the Kracken and Hades playing 'who's it' from the screaming crowd of Argos.

Last Man Standing...
The Kraken was said - in this movie - was the offspring of Hades and the one was used to defeat the Titans...well that was smart O.o. And after many years, probably a hundred, this same Kraken was called again to service another greedy reason, and that ladies and gentlemen was Hades hidden ambition.

Andromeda was said to be the sacrifice; her bottocks-face mom had the audacity to compare her to the gods, of which was the most stupidest thing a mother could ever think of. But Andromeda accepted her fate and become the heroine of the city. She let herself be tied and eaten alive by the Kraken...

However – drum roll here – Perseus came and save the day. He and Pegasus flew swiftly like Russian pilots, escaping the Furies and, as he stood behind Andromeda, fished the head of Medusa from his bag and raised it to the air, letting the eyes of the gorgon finished the pissed off Kraken by turning him to stone. After few minutes Hades butts in, surprising his nephew shouting something like “You little brat, how dare you”. But Perseus uses the sword Zeus had given him and, with a little help from daddy’s fireworks, stopped Hades by zapping his sorry ass to the ends of the earth.

Perseus knew someday Hades will return to smack his head. But it will take time. And if that time comes, he’ll be ready for it. Right Dad?

Which one's which...

The story has two alternative endings. One: Perseus still declines his father’s offer to be one of them, for he wants a normal life and I was like DUH, and for that Zeus brought Io back from the dead as a gift for Perseus so that his son will seize himself from fucking around XD.

The other one was Perseus then falls in love with Andromeda as like “Whoah why I didn’t thought of that before” and stayed beside here then blah blah happily ever after.

WTF was that??

Clash of the Titans 1981

The first adaptation of this film was made way back 1981, and the story was very much likely from Greek Mythology – well except for the Kraken, which was Norse – while the 2010 remake...well. They changed EVERYTHING!!

Let me enlighten you...

First things first...why the fuck Io was included in the remake?? I know change is better but COME ON! I mean yikes, there’s a gazillion characters in Greek Mythology; a long list of potential women for our hero, right, so why choose Io?? What is this, a three in the morning decision? She happens to be a nymph that Zeus’ fell in love with. In fact the mortal mother of Perseus was literally descended from her. So if Perseus was partnered with Io...sheesh, you do the math. Bedding your great great grandma, are you nuts??

Second: Okay so we all know Pegasus was white - in the Remake, black. No problem with that. But what freaks me out was they - by mean they, the actors - called Pegasus with "The" which means he's a somesort of an animal, like the "The" in 'Eye of The Tiger'. HELLO! There's no 'Pegasus' creature in the original movie, let alone in Greek Mythology. Pegasus was the name of the winged horse sprang out from Medusa's blood after Perseus whack her head off. Pegasus was the horse's given name, not what was called.

Third: Argos is not the city where the Kraken would seek havoc at. In Greek mythology it was Ethiopia. In the 1981 movie Joppa. Argos was where Perseus was born - his homeland.

Fourth: King Arcrisius of Argo is not the husband of Danae (mother of Perseus). Arcrisius was Perseus grandfather.

Fifth: The true reason why Arcrisius locked Danae inside the box and threw her - along with her son - to the ocean was because it was foretold that her daughter will bore a son, and that son of her would be the cause of death of Arcrisius. The King decided to end her daughter's life, but seized himself for the gods forbids the bloodshed of kindred. Instead, he throws them to the ocean, letting their fates control their ends.

Calibos

Sixth: Hades has no part in the story. It was Thetis who came and cursed them.

Seventh: Calibos is not Arcrisius cursed form. He's the son of Thetis and the one who stole Andromeda every night to seed her mind with riddles for her other suitors (she was engaged with him). If the suitors failed to answer the riddle...well - Barbecued!

Eight: There's no Djinn aiding Perseus here. The only aid he'd got are mostly came from Athena and Hermes. The sword from Hermes, the shield from Athena.

Ninth: Perseus was a simple young man and not a self-centered jerk the actor portrayed in the remake.

Danae

Tenth: The man who found Danae's imprisoned box was Dictys, not Spyros. She was alive when Dictys' found her. In Greek Mythology Danae lives to see her son married to Andromeda.

Eleventh: Perseus fell in love with Andromeda the first time he saw her. Good thing there's an alternative ending in the remake or this would be bullshit.

Twelfth: What in the world...?? The Kraken is not Hades offspring. In fact he has none to begin with. Also (in Greek Mythology) it's not the Kraken was sent to destroy the city, it was the Cetus. Kraken was mythical creature of Norse.

Thirteenth: O why o why you always picks on Hades?? He's not a bad guy as other movies or stories portrayed. He's not the sly son of bitch who wants to rule the world yah know. Unpitying and terrible, yes, but not evil. He was the King of the Dead - not Death himself.

Fourteenth: Zeus never offered Perseus to come and live in Olympus with the other gods. There's no demigod ever entered in Olympus. Only one and that is Dionysus, and he's the last one to enter.

Fifteenth: Io was turned into a heifer by Hera, so if ever Io made journey with Perseus probably she would end up roasted and eaten by the others lol.

Sixteenth: And lastly...who the hell is Prokopion??? O.o

Steff Dereja This is more of a detailed summary that points out the accuracy flaws of the story. More of like a commentary even. Try to criticize the narrative of the film more. You should consider the other elements of the film-cinematography, editing, production design, and sound din. I do dig the tone of your writing. Yeah, go writing reviews! :)

When it comes to that (and that is your forte) I admit I'm just a grunt compare to you XDD. The remake gave me awes, really: the FX, 3D's, everything!--popped my eyes! but in my reviews I did disregard that element, for the reason, perhaps, I'm more into stories (or whatever they called it) because it freaks me out when things are or aren't suppose to be there. I don't care if its low-budgeted. As long it relates and no confusion to the viewers (as like they made an idiot out of watchers) that's fine with me. Ei thanks pointing things out and YEP, more reviews soon!

This is frigging badass! Right now, I have this strong urge to worship you, seriously. ;D I've watched this movie a couple of times on cable TV and I have to admit that I kinda liked it. I guess if you're not too familiar with Greek mythology, you wouldn't really know that there are lots of flaws in it and I'm glad to know what those are. ;D Additional info and knowledge, FTW. :D Thanks for tagging me in this review. Noong isang gabi habang malakas ang ulan naisipan ko sumakay ng taxi, at lintikan na yan kung kelan mo kailangan at tsaka ang hirap hagilapin. Inabot ata ako ng mahigit isang oras ng may dumaan na isa—at kung mamalasin ka nga naman, may sakay pa! Ampoocha!

Pero hindi pagsakay sa taxi ang kwento ko. Lahat naman tayo alam yon kung paano. Ang ikukwento ko ay ang nangyari sa akin habang naghihintay ako ng masasakyan pauwi...

So...naghihintay nga ako sa ilalim ng waiting shed dyan sa may EDSA habang ang ulan naman ay humahampas sa mukha ko (mahilig kasing hindi magdala ng payong, ayan buti nga!) Few moments later, after counting thirty-six cars, eight buses, and twenty or so jeeps, a red car stopped in front me. At first hindi ko pinansin, but the way the car parked was kinda...odd. It stopped only a yard away. It was a Toyota lancer with dark tinted windows. But the weirdest part was, the driver or whoever the hell inside the vehicle seems observing something...or someone, dunno. Kinabahan ako. Kinabahan but not to the point to act hysterically. I mean duh! I’m soaked in rain, with jackets and all na mas mukha pa akong holdaper kesa sa holdaper. Then suddenly an awkward feeling creeps inside me: baka may nangyaring masama sa driver! Heart attack, perhaps? Wag naman sana. Hindi ako marunong mag CPR! Hindi ako marunong mag-drive papuntang hospital. Nangangatog na ako dahil sa ulan at sa dala na rin ng pag-alala. Kasi kung ganun nga ang nangyari sa driver at tatayo lang ako doon, napakasama ko naman di ba?

Then after few or so minutes past, sa wakas nasagot din ang aking katanungan.

The tinted window glide down slowly and then a guy peered out and I'm telling you, he's damn cute one. Though it was dim, I can see his brown eyes, his white skin emphasized through the dark interior of the car and I said to myself, “Ohah, tignan mo nga naman.” And I don't know what came to me that night to let myself walked near the red vehicle. Was it because of his cuteness, his smile, his eyes...

I back away a little. "Can I help you?" I asked. Syempre inengols ko. Mukhang foreigner eh. But thank goodness hindi pala, kung hindi mapapalaban ako 8D.

"Ano ginagawa mo dito? Malakas ang ulan ah," he said with a smile. "Wala kang payong?"

Duh. "No need. Basa naman din ako eh...er...do I know you?" I said at length, baka kasi talagang kilala n'ya ako o kilala s'ya ng kakilala ko na pinakilala sa akin at ako naman si estupida eh hindi matandaan.

"It's me," he said, kinda excited. "Max!"

"Huh?"

"Don't yah remember me? We've met..." tumingin s'ya sa kisame ng kotse n’ya na parang nandun ang sagot, "about ten days ago."

"Jay introduced me to you," he supplied. And I think he's just bluffing, kasi alam n'ya na talagang hindi ko s'ya matandaan.

Max. Max. Max? I don't know any name Max.

"But you have a friend named Jay, right?"

I nodded slowly. Wow. Of all the names, Jay pa ang ginamit. Henyo.

"See? Told yah I’m right," he smiled wildly and open the car door. “C'mon, let me take you home. Magagalit sa akin si Jay kapag nalaman n’ya ito.”

Puta, bakit ka ba Jay ng Jay?! "No thank you,” I said, and I’m telling you right after the no-no thing, tinignan n’ya ako ng masama. Shit.

My hand fished my cellphone at putaragis, naalala ko pala lobat! Emergency leche.

I took a step away, really away.

“Are you sure you’re not coming?” he said, brows furrowed.

I nodded in return, in a way na parang okay lang. But deep inside, I’m shitting my pants!

“Okay...your bad,” he shrugged and then slammed the car shut and drove away...

And then stop again.

Just few meters away.

In the middle of the road.

And I’m alone.

Well not that alone pero kahit na!

A year ago I’d read some article that there’s this car wandering around the metro victimizing civilians. Holdup, Rape, ewan ko! Not to brag or anything pero baka isa ako sa balak biktimahin and that night, I’d never been scared all of my life.

The car was still in a halt state when I look back, tale light’s blinking. Obviously the guy inside precariously watching me.

Kinginamo ano ba talaga kailangan mo!

Hindi ko na hinintay na sagutin pa n’ya tanong ko, sumampa nalang ako bigla sa humintong bus. Kahit anong byahe basta Bus!

Nakarating na ako sa Novaliches bago ko naalala na Malanday pala dapat sakyan ko. Napalayo pa tuloy ako, bwiset!
