The marriage of bold prints & feminine girly designer Milly and boat shoe shoemaker Sperry Top Sider will produce 13 styles covered with lace, metallic rope, and charms. Prices will range from $90 to $225 so not inexpensive, but will be available at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s, and the respective websites starting the week of February 6th.

What does it mean for you? Without seeing the line, I imagine you’re in for a treat when it comes to colorful ankle-wrap wedges!

C’mon share! “I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours…” I’ll be enjoying the company of my new, all-consuming love interest in a super fancy hotel in an undisclosed location….sipping on red wine and dark chocolate (I’m gonna try to at least be mindful of my overall health~ ok not that healthy because I love love love the caramel with sea salt!), engaging in deep conversation about the future, laughing often, and getting kneaded and poked (not what you’re thinking!).

C’mon what are your plans?! Are you going it alone? Overseas or stateside? Home or hotel?

Who’s taking part in any of the spring color explosion? It doesn’t matter if it’s the bright florals, or the the jewel tone tops, or electric prints ~ the abundance of color and prints means nailing down “the” shoe may be more difficult. The answer = metallics! While I’m partial to silver and heels, I have happened upon a Vera Wang Lavender gold-tone flat called the Louisa 2.

‘A Failed Trend’ Buy For Under $100

I am not into tribal prints. This is the closest I will ever get ~ Aryn K pleated maxi skirt. {Style note: maxi skirts & dresses never quite hit their stride or caught mass appeal ~ they are hard to pull off for those with a more shapely bottom half + the pleats add volume}. I don’t openly subscribe to trends especially not failed ones but, keeping the top half fitted and vibrant (I’m thinking of playing up the mustard stripe) should make this a winner…and a high wedge heel!
