At the Embassy Suites Hotel - Perimeter of Atlanta, a most inviting and spectacular hospitality suite for "Grow with Zo" was decorated by a group of the Bat Mitzvah girl's mom's friends! Everyone needs friends like these! The suite decor included everything the mom and Bat Mitzvah girl would have provided if they themselves had created the decor and amenities!

An amazing artist, Kim Nicholson, created a banner that fit the room perfectly.

The room's candy bar featured candy representing the perfect color palette selected for the weekend's events!

An additional personalized detail was that every one who came to the hospitality suite had an opportunity to take photos of the weekend so that

memories could be enjoyed after the celebrations were over.

At Puritan Mill Tulip's Heather and Eva provided incredibly detailed and personalized decor for a Bat Mitzvah Celebration Extravaganza!

Keeping the color theme, Cover Ups provided the table linens as a back drop for the caterer Added Touch's delicious food! With the celebrants enjoying the DJ, Lethal Rhythms' music and memorable photographs by Patti Covert of Scenesations capturing every detail of the celebration, the Bat Mitzvah girl, her family, and friends partied, indulged, and enjoyed!

Upon entering the party venue, amazing pops of color greeted the celebrants! A summer camp ambiance, including picnic tables, welcomed guests to a fabulous party!

The adult tables designs included three different decors!

Added Touch's food was incredible!

Offerings included a burger bar with all the toppings!
Guests were offered beef, salmon or portabella mushroom burgers.

Also, a HUGE deconstructed salad bar with every imaginable option and a soup bar offering winter white chicken chili and butternut squash soup delighted celebrants!

The kids' dessert included the cutest flower cookies displayed on sticks in a garden,

mini crushed Oreo dirt pudding cake sundaes,

and vanilla and chocolate ice cream with toppings to create sundaes.

The guests were certainly enticed to indulge!

Apple of My Eye Pie,

To Die For Turtle Pie with healthful walnuts,

warm caramel bread pudding,

A Bat Mitzvah was celebrated with a color theme inspired by and borrowed from Anthropologie. Mom, a creative "repurposer" and "recycler" even planned "girl parties" the year preceding the event where some of the decorations for the Bat Mitzvah celebration were made. Trees that were cut down in the neighborhood, as well as poster boards, and painted plastic water bottles were given a new purpose as centerpieces and flowers. A vibrant color theme with an earthy, rustic style delighted the Bat Mitzvah girl, her family and guests. Mom worked closely with us on all the details!

From the colorful cutlery, to the kippot, to the tablecloths - everything matched.

Artfully arranged, colorful kippot await the guests!

For the Shabbat dinner decor, check out how the Bat Mitzvah girl and her mom's involvement showcased their creative talents with the white painted stems from cut-down trees and delicate flowers made from recycled plastic bottles! The Bat Mitzvah decor featured a great way to reuse things.

A very good friend of the family catered delicious food for the celebration events held at CBT throughout the Bat Mitzvah weekend!

Check out the flowers that flanked both sides of the bimah! Made out of ripped poster board, the flowers gave the room a festive feeling and popped with color!

Beach Club Wedding

At the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club a friend from high school was married!
The beach setting offered an incredible rustic, nautical ambiance and theme!
Although my business Bluming Creativity, did not plan this wedding, I attended as a guest and enjoyed the festivities, details, and decor so much I want my blog followers and future event clients to get inspired by my photos and memories of a truly beautiful wedding!

The ceremony site overlooked the bay!

Guests found vintage postcards available in order to send a message to the newlyweds!

To locate the guests' places at tables for the wedding meal, a nautical, beach-themed list provided the information! The beach club ambiance permeated every decor detail!

At the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant, a Bar Mitzvah boy,

his family and friends celebrated!

The place cards with a camouflage-theme were designed and created by Dear Greer Designs!

Holland from Balloonacy did an amazing job listening to the Bar Mitzvah boy and providing something that gave him the details that he wanted!

Take a look at the table number below! Dear Greer Designs made these table numbers to match the above place cards. They looked so great!

Adults were served the venue's famous beer cheese soup.

Balloonacy created a check box, balloons, a balloon arch and the centerpieces!

Howie the Magician provided entertainment!

Music was provided by a DJ from AAA DJ SERVICES!

Patti Covert, from Scenesations provided the photography!

Button it Up provided the Green Screen, candy boxes and pictures as party favors!

In addition to the party celebration, a Kiddush Luncheon was held at

Wedding Overlooking Water in Florida!

At the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa in Coconut Grove

My mom and dad attended an amazing wedding in Miami, Florida. Although I did not plan or have anything to do with this event, I offer some highlights as inspiration to my blog followers and potential clients. We all learn from each other with shared ideas.

Check out the photo of the signs that the ring bearers carried as they walked down the aisle preceding the bride. The bride's Korean background encouraged me to check out Korean wedding customs because I thought that perhaps the ring bearer signs are traditional in Korean weddings. Although not a Korean wedding ritual, what a cute added touch to the bride's traditional entrance!

Featured in the photo found below is a mirror more than 4 feet tall. The guests and family names and reserved table numbers were written in pen for a seating chart on the mirror. Lanterns placed on the table illuminated the area.

With only railing and dividers separating wedding family and guests from the water, warm breezes brought the fragrance of the ocean that permeated the area where the reception was held. Check out the flower arrangements and elegant table settings that enhanced the sea-side decorated ambiance!

Multiple exotic flowers and plants grouped together make up the table centerpieces!

Twinkling candles, raffia chargers, rectangular and round tables beckoned the wedding guests and family to the reception celebrating the marriage of loved ones!

An exquisite, yet simple addition of flowing fabric added to the magical, sea-side ambiance in the wedding reception area!

With a view of a sailboat, the ocean waves gently flowing and the colors of sunset, the wedding cake display table is perfectly positioned. The wedding cake with green leaf garnish and the bride's orchid bouquet in front is further proof of attention to every detail that the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa provided for this wedding celebration.

Orchid Enchanted Evening

At the King Plow Arts Center a simple and elegant wedding honoring Chinese and Jewish traditions was celebrated!

Delicate orchids decorated the rooms for the ceremony and reception. Bold American's decor enchanted wedding participants and guests.

The Officiant was Dr. Jon Crane, a professor at Emory and a brother-in-law. Combining Jewish and Chinese traditions gave the wedding ceremony additional cultural richness. The bride and groom exchanged vows under a traditional Jewish chuppah. A Chinese tea ceremony honoring the bride and groom's parents was beautifully executed. A custom of witness participation with everyone in attendance signing a poster added further meaning to the beautiful wedding ceremony. Delicate orchids visible throughout the room for the ceremony as well as the reception, enhanced the exotic and warm ambiance of simplicity and elegance.

Check out the cocktail hour centerpieces. Orange and white orchids were the featured flowers of the evening.

Check out the incredible lit-up bar in the middle of the room. What an inviting atmosphere!

With a mix of rectangular and circular tables throughout the reception room, the tables not only looked inviting but were creatively placed for elegance and a unique celebratory atmosphere.

Various glasses of different heights filled with lit candles enhanced the beauty of the reception room!

Check out the simple but elegant wedding cake! Simplicity and elegance truly dominated this most gorgeous wedding from the ceremony until the last dance of the reception!

Adirondacks in Atlanta

On New Year's Eve, at the Alpharetta Marriott, a wedding ceremony and celebration reception offered the bride and groom's families and friends a chance to share in a most meaningful and beautiful wedding, as well as welcome the New Year, 2012!

The bride's input and involvement in planning the wedding ensured that what was important to her and the groom were details incorporated into the ceremony and celebration. For the ceremony, the bride wore a gorgeous, traditional long white wedding gown. When she and the groom began their first dance of the reception, he began to remove her sash and unzip her dress. Celebrants gasped, thinking that the groom was going to undress his bride on the dance floor. But, the removal of part of the long gown revealed a short, white, gorgeous party dress! What an idea!

The bride and groom were married under a friend's borrowed chuppah that had a sentimental touch!

With the couple residing in the Adirondacks of New York and loving the outdoors and nature, the bride brought rocks from Adirondacks and used them as everyone's place cards adding a personalized element to the reception.

Wedding Cairns provided another personalized touch of nature to the celebration.

A framed explanation of the traditions of Cairns garnished a table. As a Cairn is a man-made pile of stones built to commemorate an occasion, and cairns celebrate important events, memorialize lost family members, and indicate significant locations, guests were asked:

"Please take your stone to your table and stack them with others to form your own mini Cairns to mark our special day"

The bride also brought sticks all the way from the Adirondacks so that their mutual love of their New York place of residence would be incorporated into their wedding celebration.

The ballroom was decorated for the festivities with a black, silver and white color scheme.

Check out the ceiling with the installed balloon drop stationed to fall over the dance floor exactly at midnight!

These vases held the bridesmaid bouquets adding to the elements making up the centerpieces!

White, sparkling, vanilla cupcakes were exactly what the bride wanted. They were delicious!

Chocolate truffles from the bride's favorite place were flown in for the special occasion!

The New Year 2012 came in perfectly for this couple!

They were married surrounded by their loving families and friends at a perfect combination of a wedding and New Year's Eve Party!.

Hats, beads, blowers, tiaras, balloons and champagne welcomed the New Year and added to the wedding festivities.

The flowers, Balloon drop event and centerpieces were provided by Balloonacy.

Desmond Thomas, AAA DJ Services provided the music for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Guests took and received photos as wedding party favors from Red Eye Photo Booth from 8 pm until midnight.

The majority of the photos in the blog were generously offered to be used by www.laurenrosenauphotography.com who photographed the wedding.

Hanukkah and Bowling!

On a Wednesday morning during Hanukkah, family and friends gathered to celebrate the Bar Mitzvah boy's accomplishments and the joys of life at Congregation B'nai Torah!

The caterer, Avenue K created a fire pit and a latke station for the brunch after the morning services. Guacamole, made to order, was just one of the delicious food offerings.

Hanukkah gelt, freshly made donuts, and dreidels accompanied by directions on how to play, garnished the tables. Balloonacy did the impressive balloon displays. The color scheme of lime green, electric blue and black made the room POP!

The Bar Mitzvah boy and his family and guests were entertained by singers from New York's Shalom Orchestra, and the animated DJ from Hitz Entertainment.

Party favors included photos with a green screen by Peachtree Pictures, Over the Top Creations airbrushing hats, and caricature drawings by the artist, Mark Mandel.
The Bar Mitzvah ceremony and celebrations were immortalized with photography by Kimberly Maz.

With the Bar Mitzvah boy known to be a whiz, rubik cubes held the place cards welcoming guests to the personalized, fun, and celebratory festivities!

On the place card table, a gigantic Bar Mitzvah boy photo book offered guests an opportunity to share their sentiments as they signed in. In addition, a very large candy menorah decorated the back of the table, announcing that a "sweet" time was to be had by all!

Get Up Cup provided the delicious coffee cart offerings! If guests hadn't woken up during the Bar Mitzvah boy's proficient participation in services, the coffee deliciously opened everyone's eyes!

To declare that this Bar Mitzvah festive party was creative, is an understatement!

Check out the above photo! The Bar Mitzvah boy's mom invented table names that were so amusing and comedic. Guests sat at "1st Time In Shul," "Never Met the Bar Mitzvah Boy," "We Like One Spouse Better Than the Other,""Gave a Re-Gift," and "We Are Here For the Food" named tables. Table numbers and their "original" names were placed in fresh donuts on each table.

Transportation shuttles were provided by Metro Tour Shuttle.

Alcoholic offerings for the adult guests came from The Wine Store.

With 250 people gathered at services and the brunch, the Bar Mitzvah boy's family created a more intimate event for the evening's party. About 100 family members and friends from out of town were invited to the Emory Conference Center for more celebrating. With a chance to bowl, a venue with a cool, modern vibe, and yummy food offerings for the partying guests, a memorable Bar Mitzvah celebration was enjoyed by all. A bowling pin was signed by the family for the Bar Mitzvah boy as a tangible reminder of the amazing day's celebrations and his achievements.

Multiple pizza offerings and make-your-own salad satisfied the bowling party participants' appetites!

Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate!

At the Standard Club, Event Savvy created a sweet dream chocolate celebration for a girl who LOVES chocolate. Atlanta FEVER had everyone dancing the night away, what a party.

Event Savvy created a personalized logo, M, featured as decor throughout the party venue and found on the tags of the table place cards, hung on hot chocolate mugs that contained hot chocolate packets. Celebrants immediately enjoyed the chocolate theme. How yummy!

Check out this creative idea for a sign-in board for a chocolate dream theme!

The M logo was shined on the wall near the dance floor!

The small lanterns shown in the photo below were set up on the high-boy tables that framed the dance floor.

Every small detail to embellish the room in chocolate celebration was enjoyed. Check out the napkins with the matching logo and colors!

Jungle Jam!

A Bar Mitzvah jungle-themed celebration was catered by Chef Cary. Let's Celebrate created an ambiance of jungle adventure with the decorations. The DJ, VIBE, provided the music for the Bar Mitzvah boy, family and friends to "jungle rock" to all night long at Temple Sinai.

The celebrants picked up their luggage tags directing them to their tables for the jungle adventures. Safe Travels!

WOW! What a Party!

With 400 Volunteers, 700 Guests, 75 Babies in our Kids II Inc. Baby Room, 2,000 Presents, 500 Pictures with Santa, 800 Pairs of Carter’s Pajamas, 1,200 Lunches from Atlanta Bread Company, Mellow Mushroom, Flying Biscuit, and more! and 1 Incredible Location – The Defoor Centre, Amy's 2011 Holiday Party was a HUGE success!

We could not be more thrilled with the success of our 2011 Amy’s Holiday Party. Thanks to ALL of our unbelievably hard-working and dedicated volunteers as well as our incredibly generous donors and sponsors. This year’s main event was the best yet! It was an incredible experience to watch our guests’ faces light up when they walked into the Toy Room, danced with our VIBE DJ, played Burgess carnival games, made Home Depot tool boxes, and took pictures with Santa from On the Spot Memories.

As a continuous 17 year tradition, Amy's Holiday Party once again provided Christmas to over 700 homeless, foster and refugee children. Without the untiring efforts of everyone involved, the guests would not have Christmas!

We could not have made so many children so very happy without the generous support, time and the donated venue of the Defoor Centre.

Balloonacy donated their time to come out and bring smiles to all of the children's faces when they saw all of the fun and colorful balloons!

2,000 TOYS! TOYS! TOYS!

Skateboards, Trucks, Make Up, Dolls, Board Games, Basketballs, Stuffed Animals,

Purses, Sunglasses, Poker sets, Arts and Craft kits, Building blocks, Tea sets,

Snuggies, Barbies, Soccer balls, and on and on....

What more could one want?

Santa was there to take pictures with each child and after Santa handed each child a candy cane, we handed out new toothbrushes and toothpaste for each child.

Carters Cares donated a pair of pajamas to each child that attended the party and created a reading lounge where they read and gave books to each child in attendance.

A donation of all types of arts and crafts for the children to participate in card making, sand art, reindeer puppets, ornament making delighted the guests. Home Depot brought out all of their supplies to help the kids in attendance each make their own tool boxes.

Burgess Amusements provided great games for all the kids to play.

Lunches were donated from many different vendors but the kids LOVED the pizza donated by Mellow Mushroom.

We could not have done this event without our sponsors and Color Spot who made the signs.

Every child deserves to celebrate and be celebrated! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

A Bar Mitzvah Celebration for the STARS!
With the decor by Let's Celebrate, delicious food catered by Added Touch Catering, and music by the DJ, Horizon, the Bar Mitzvah boy, family and friends celebrated in style.

Check out the place cards created by Dear Greer Designs, Ink to look like the tickets that one finds on a will call board at the theater. How creative!

The snazzy red carpet entrance to the area where the adults indulged in cocktail hour made family and friends feel like they had walked the "red carpet" at a Hollywood movie premiere!

The Bar Mitzvah boy's friends joined him in this exciting area of the celebration room with the large sign that appears in the above photo and with the decor that appears below, as well.

The yummy appetizers for the kids appealed to their palates!

The centerpieces for the tables were topped with signs naming different movies supported by a base filled with popcorn. The movie theme was adhered to in great detail pleasing the Bar Mitzvah boy and his family!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

At the Westin Perimeter Atlanta North Hotel, the first "green" Bat Mitzvah celebration event was held.

Kim Nicholson provided the decor using materials that were recyclable. She collected items for months to have what she envisioned to use for the "green" theme. The decor was amazing!

Representing the Bat Mitzvah girl's love of the color green as well as her passionate commitment to living her life in as "green" a manner as possible, her expectations were truly met. In addition to the Bat Mitzvah girl's joy, her parents had been married at the venue and felt an extra special feeling for celebrating the life event of their daughter's Bat Mitzvah at the amazingly decorated room at the Westin.

Keeping the environmentally conscious theme, instead of escort cards and wasting paper, Kim designed the board featured below, on a palette created from recycled brown paper bags. The charming display contained a list of who was seated at each table. This very different display was loved by the guests because they were able to see who they would sit with for the party, which was an additional and unexpected benefit.

Even the check box where guests could drop off gifts in a secure way promoted the environmentally conscious theme and was cleverly decorated.

Check out these two displays that were positioned on each side of the door as guests approached the main ballroom! What different recyclable materials can you can pick out?

The kids' tables had newspapers printed with the Bat Mitzvah girl's name and 2 liter bottles cut to hold M&Ms in her favorite colors.

Check out this large display that became the focal point for the front of the room!

Check out the party favors for all of the kids to take when they left. The cans had seeds inside for everyone to plant and continue to make the world green when they got home.

Grooving for a Bar Mitzvah!

At the Tongue and Groove venue, a wiz at Rubik's Cube celebrated his Bar Mitzvah with his family and friends. Let’s Celebrate provided all the creative decorations. The delicious and appetizing food was catered by Zest Atlanta. A big thank you to Scenesations' Patti Colvert who photographed the festivities and permitted Bluming Creativity to post the following photos!

The festivities began with an entrance on "The Red Carpet."

The large bar in the middle of the room featured a Rubiks cube, representing the Bar Mitzvah boy's expertise at "doing" the "cube" like a pro!

In a different area of the club, check out the large white lights on the top right is the DJ booth!

Zest Atlanta catered a menu of fun food.

BBQ sliders, Beef Hot Dogs, Thai Noodles in Chinese Food Containers, Fried Chicken Tenders, a Mac and Cheese Bar with Multiple Toppings, and a Selection of Fresh Fruit enticed the Bar Mitzvah boy, his family and guests!

A Rubik's Cube was offered as a favor to all the guests at the end of the celebration!

At the venue of Studio 887, Bold American catered a gourmet wedding celebration. Desmond Thomas, AAA DJ Services provided music for the bride, groom, their families and guests. Tulip, www.bytulip.com, decorated the venue exquisitely and provided flowers that garnished the chuppah, tables, and the bridal party participants. With chair covers and gigantic purple bows, the ceremony and dining chairs popped purple!

An added touch to personalize the celebration was popcorn provided by Popcorn Palladium.

The programs, kippot, photos of the families through the generations, and a sign-in book greeted the guests.

Table names were all different cities in California that the bride and groom were going to visit on their honeymoon.

A candy and popcorn bar for the guests to enjoy during the festivities or take from as they leave, sweetened the party. The groom is a foodie and loves popcorn so small bags in different flavors were offered for the guests to indulge!

Batter's Up - Bride and Groom at Turner Field!

The venue of the 755 Club at Turner Field offered an ambiance for a recent wedding. With The Goodfriend Catering Company catering delicious and appetizing Kosher food and the Tevyeh Band providing the music, the bride, groom, family and guests celebrated a wonderful, memorable wedding event!

The wedding guests were able to overlook where the old Turner Field used to be.

Dear Greer Designs, Ink. designed escort cards that were replicas of baseball tickets. The cards were placed in trays with peanuts at the bottom. Set up to look like "Will Call."

Dear Greer Designs also designed the pennants that served as the table numbers.

Check out the second design for the centerpieces that were tall glass vases set in natural grass. The vases were filled with Braves' Baseballs, peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and "cotton candy."

A Kosher cake designed and baked by Publix sat on a table that featured bride and groom bobble-head dolls wearing Braves' hats. The dolls looked just like the bride and groom!

At The Temple for a fall wedding, Talk of the Town catered a delicious, memorable event with Lethal Rhythms, the DJ providing the music.

The chuppah in the chapel was garnished with birds of paradise, the bride and groom's favorite flower. Family tallism provided the covering for the chuppah, as well.

The delicious cocktail hour display offered fruits, cheeses, dips, spreads, breads, and so many other delicacies!

During cocktail hour, numerous high tables with purple candles and rose petals on them offered the guests a place to enjoy!

The bride and groom wanted salmon-colored and purple flowers to pick up the colors from the birds of paradise. Flowers by Joan incorporated other fall colors through the use of real fallen leaves, with two different arrangement designs for centerpieces scattered on tables throughout the venue.

The bridal and bridesmaid bouquets made up the table centerpiece and decor for the bride and groom's table.

The delicious and beautiful wedding cake from Publix featured a Mickey groom and Minnie bride figurine.

Wedding at the Dunwoody Country Club!

Simple elegance describes the chuppah at Temple Sinai.

With the reception at Dunwoody Country Club, the mother of the bride went above and beyond with the addition of raspberry sticks placed on each table as well as the hiring of a vintage Rolls Royce for the bride and groom's transportation. Decor and flowers by Creative Occasions surrounded the bride, groom, family and friends with exquisite details that will be long remembered.

A traditional head table elegantly welcomed the bride, groom and their parents. Check out the beautiful tablescape!

Menu cards were prepared by Paperie by Melissa.

The traditional wedding cake as well as the groom's cake were designed and baked by Specialty Cakes by Emmie.

Following the Southern tradition of offering a groom's cake that represents some aspect of the groom's life and/or interests, an accordion cake depicted the groom's love for playing the instrument.

A Perfect Wedding Venue!

Wanting a wedding with the feel of autumn, the bride and groom had Paul Brummer of Rooms in Bloom, create a decor and flower arrangements for an ambience depicting the beautiful wonders of the season. Photos by Alecia Lauren captured memories for the bride, groom, and their families to cherish.

The outdoors was brought indoors at the wedding venue with the magical decor and personal touches of the professionals and the groom. Even the escort cards were set in hand-carved pieces of wood, bringing the feel of the fall season, indoors!

Another personal touch from the groom were the table numbers that he cut himself.

Further creating an ambiance of the fall season, the groom made the initial-embellished log decorations for the fireplace mantel!

Check out how the bride's desire to use warm-colored fall flowers created a room where autumn's magic surrounded the guests!

The traditional wedding cake made from marble cake, raspberry filling and buttercream icing, baked by Publix, was displayed elegantly and surrounded by fall-colored floral bouquets. The guests couldn't wait for the bride and groom to cut the cake so they could enjoy its deliciousness!

Rooms in Bloom hung tea lights in glass containers to the wall of windows all over the back of the celebration venue so the walls glowed with light! It was autumn magic!

Photos depicting a year in the life of the bride and groom garnished a table where guests were encouraged to leave a personal message for the happy couple!

BOLD American also catered the absolutely delicious food for the wedding celebration.

A sweetheart table for the bride and groom featured sustainable bamboo centerpieces and green M& M's which were also placed on all the tables.

Gigi's Cupcakes designed, baked and displayed the enticing chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with chocolate, vanilla and green icing . YUMMY!

A Setting For Generations of Meaningful Memories

When entering the venue, kippot and programs greeted the guests. With floral arrangements and decor by Pam Holley at DH Flowers and Events, guests were surrounded with the warm colors of glistening gold, pastel pink and elegant ivory.

Dancing the night away with Lethal Rhythms, guests enjoyed the wedding conventions and surprise touches. Captured on film and in still photos, photographer Kyle Hale, created tangible memories for the bride, groom, their families, and guests.

The elegant chuppah beckoned the bride and groom, and their families to enter and share in the wedding ceremony's prayers and customs.

With emphasis on the tradition of generations celebrating and participating in a life event, a table in the cocktail area was garnished with family photos of four generations. Guests were asked to leave words of wisdom for the bride and groom.
"From generation to generation, tradition!"

In addition, escort cards were offered to guests as they entered the ballroom.

With everything glistening and filled with candlelight, the venue was lit up beautifully. The bride's desire for the warmth created by the colors of gold, pink and ivory was felt by everyone! Menu cards garnished the table and informed the guests about the feast they were about to enjoy!

Let's Hit the Ice - Hockey!

At Heritage Green Sandy Springs a Bar Mitzvah celebration featured a hockey theme to honor the passionate hockey fan and player - the Bar Mitzvah boy!

As everyone entered, a giant hockey puck was featured with an opening at the top that was actually a box for people to drop in their gift envelopes.

The table decor reflected the hockey theme with sticks and a hockey team insignia prominently displayed.

The beautiful outdoor venue of Heritage Green Sandy Springs' garden included a gazebo where air hockey and a special bar with all types of kids drinks entertained the friends of the Bar Mitzvah boy and his guests.

The dance floor was packed all night with FEVER running the party,

it was a party all night long!

Dad was attentive and oh so sweet by surprising Mom with a cake for her birthday that was a few days after the Bar Mitzvah party!

As a party favor, a celebratory candy bar offered many options for the kids to fill up bags as they left the party!

Another party favor was a hockey puck for each guest and an opportunity to sign the Bar Mitzvah boy's special jersey.

Fabulous Las Vegas Flowers and Food

As an event and life-celebration party planner, I get to see and taste some pretty creatively presented and delicious food. Even with my vast culinary experiences, I am not normally much of a foodie, but I LOVED the taste and the presentation of food in Vegas. The plating and decor made me want to eat everything.

The first photo shows a deconstructed Caesar salad -YUM!

These banana filled donuts with dipping sauces have no calories. If one keeps murmuring "mmmm" for the delicious flavor, the calories disappear!

How cute are these mini burger appetizers at Serendipity?

Cute also equals few calories, or so I like to tell myself!

What a great presentation of ribs, cole-slaw, and fries!

I will use this idea at a Western-themed event because the plating is so inviting.

Pannini lovers, check out this idea! Take grilled white meat chicken with Monterey jack cheese, arugula, grilled red onion and bbq sauce on ciabatta bread. Open wide and enjoy!

Besides enjoying the beauty of the food, flowers were plentiful and the word AMAZING does not do them justice. Every hotel lobby presented daily changing flower arrangements that were exquisite. I can't imagine the time involved.

Evidently there is an abundance of flower arranging artistic talent in Vegas!

"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!" No! I am inspired and filled with new ideas that I bring to Atlanta and surrounding areas. What happened in Vegas, is good for Atlanta!

Winter wonderland Bat Mitzvah

Place cards shaped like snowflakes and hung as if snow were falling greeted the family and guests of this Bat Mitzvah girl who loves winter!
Celebrating the Bat Mitzvah girl at Ravinia Club of Atlanta, winter white, ice-blues and grays surrounded the guests in a magical winter wonderland theme.

Deliciously Darling Events provided the decor so that guests experienced winter wonders. Bailey's Blizzard station with ice cream and multiple topping choices delighted guests' palates as well as provided personalized straws.

The centerpieces made from flowers and bare branches looked like giant balls of snow and hanging ice. Was there a chill in the air? No, the warmth of the joy of this celebration won over the Bat Mitzvah celebrant, her family and guests!

The kids lounging area was decorated with the winter theme for comfort and fun!

A bountiful candy bar enticed adult and children guests to indulge!

Continuing in the theme of winter with memories of marshmallows floating in mugs of hot chocolate, chefs stood at a table where guests selected a blue or white stick with a handmade marshmallow cooked personally for them and then dipped into a topping of their choice. Who loved these marshmallows more, the adults or the kids?

Finally as a party favor at the end of the night of winter-themed celebrating and fun, guests left with a large tumbler and hot chocolate mix to make at home.

Warm winter memories will remain!
