RED bmw 745

2012-06-10T12:57:00.000-04:00

This picture I found is deffinetly photoshopped but still looks pretty good. Im pretty sure the color of the 7 is real color red though.

V10 745 motor

2012-06-10T12:54:00.004-04:00

Just wanna share a picture I found on the web. Its a 645 that was converted into an M6. Looked very good and real on the outside but this is whats under the hood. Same engine we have in our 745s except this one is a V10. LOL Thought that was funny that they went the extra mile and added the V10 badges. Maybe someone who knows nothing about BMWs will believe that its real.

Just a few new pictures..

2012-04-19T20:03:00.003-04:00

Sharing a few very nice pictures that my friend sak_916 hooked me up with.

2012-04-09T17:15:00.002-04:00

I was online looking at different 745s and came across this one. Looks like a custom made bodykit because I personally never seen something like that before. Just sharing a few photos to show you guys what it looks like.

Not a fan of the kit but appreciate the time put into making.

Engine Cleaner & Detailer

2012-03-24T09:31:00.004-04:00

These are the cleaning products I used to clean the engine. The one on the right is the cleaner and the left one is the detailer. If you just want clean engine all you will need is the engine cleaner. Just spray the engine and 15 mins later hose it down with water and watch all the dirt come off. If you want your engine compartment to shine than you can use the engine detailer. They both cost around $5ea at Autozone..

It was really nice weather so I decided to clean my engine and detail it.

Here is a picture before and after.

Recent Update

Decided to make few little changes. My wife has a machine that can cut stickers and different shapes and stuff and I happened to have some of the gloss black vinyl so I had her cut me some letters. This is what they were for:

This is what its gonna look like once I get it installed in the trunk.

I also have some carbon fiber laying around somewhere. Gotta find it and get me some carbon fiber stickers. Maybe ill find a place where to use them.

Carbon Fiber Dash Kit

2012-03-07T20:43:00.000-05:00

Some people wrapped their dash wood in vinyl, carbon fiber vinyl. Well actually they wrapped all of the interior wood in carbon fiber vinyl. I always wanted to see what it will look like and actually thought about doing it myself but then I found pictures. Not my cup of tea with the carbon fiber look but im sure alot of people will like it. For those of you who are interested you can but 3D carbon fiber from different places from all over the web such as ebay and do this yourself to your dash kit, not only on your 7 series.

Facelifted VS. Pre Facelifted 7

2012-02-16T12:46:00.000-05:00

Even though these 7 series BMW's were slightly modified you can still tell the difference in facelifted and pre-facelifted models.

Both cars are lowered, have upgraded wheels, asanti grille aswell as ACS spoilers.

Pre Facelifted is 2002 - 2005

Facelifted is 2006 - 2008

E65 meaning the "I" version

JL Audio UPDATE

2012-02-15T17:25:00.004-05:00

As you know im working on my custom sound system. The box was done few weeks ago, all hooked up and working all I had to do is finish the final panel that has the plexi glass in it. Sorry for the cheap looking photos, didnt have my camera with me at the time so just used my EVO 3D phone to take them and it was dark in the garage.

Once the plexi glass was glued, I waited to make sure the glue cured really good so the glass doesnt fly out for any reason later on.

I used a few screws to hold the cover in place to see make sure it all fits right..

Once that was complete it was time to make the final cover to hide all the wood.

And this is what I ended up with. It was now time to cover it with grey cloth to match the trunk. It wasnt going to be a perfect match but close enough for me to like it.

To make that shape i first used thick piece of cardboard and kept cutting it to fit the trunk as nice as possible. Once that was complete I just transferred it all to the piece of wood and cut the wood to shape.

It was then time to use the adhesive and add the cloth material.

Once all that was done and 20 minutes later this is what the final cover looked like:

Also before I cut the hole I put this cover inside the trunk to show all you guys what it would look like if the sub was hidden in a box and there would not be any plexi glass.

Too plain in my opinion but im sure some people like that. Also notice how much trunk space I have left! PLENTY!! Here it is:

Here are just a few random pictures. This is with not plexi glass cover on the box so you can even notice the top neon light.

Pictures of the final result will be posted soon!

Here are few pictures of the lip upclose. They are for member Terek from bimmerfest to help him with his install of his lip. Sorry the car is dirty so the pictures are not great. Its raining here so cant wash the car right now. The carbon fiber pieces were just black primered pieces and I wrapped the in carbon fiber vinyl. The lip was completely painted but I got the center wrapped in carbon fiber too.

Just wanted to post a picture with rear foot rests. Most 7 series are equipped with these and they will come in the color of your interior. I know many 7 series owner didnt know they even supposed to have these in their 7's. I dont believe it was a standard option on all but some of the 7 with most options had these. I had mine and I didnt need them and was never gonna use them and I knew my passengers are not going to complain so I sold mine for $100 bucks.
