Brilliant performance is delivered by the eight-cylinder powerplant in the BMW 650i Coupe. Developing 360 bhp from an engine capacity of 4.8 liters, this power unit allows truly dynamic performance combined with incomparable smoothness and refinement.

BMW will initially offer the all-new BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe in two configurations: xDrive50i and xDrive35i. With the exception of the 8- or 6-cylinder powerplant difference, both models offer the same list of standard features.  The interior of the X6 is swathed in high-quality leather and wood. Individual style is expressed though the availability of 10 exterior colors, 11 leather options, and three trim choices.

Coupe-like in design, the X6 was designed as a 4-passenger vehicle with individual rear seats separated by a center console. Passengers and luggage compartment (large enough for four golf bags) are also distinctly separated from one another—again in coupe-like fashion. To increase transport capacity, the rear-seat backrests may be folded in an asymmetric split expanding capacity substantially. Standard on the X6 is a power-operated tailgate with automatic opening and closing. The driver is able to vary the final position of the tailgate when open to prevent damage when in a garage or underground parking area with a low ceiling.

BMW 328xi Coupe engine is the title character. Although the powerplant serves up a ‘mere’ 230hp (versus the 335i’s 300hp), winding out the straight six is no chore (as in an infinite pleasure). And you’re never far from the mill’s big, fat power band– with one exception. When accelerating from  50-70 mph, downshifting isn’t just a sport, it’s a way of life. Luckily, the 328xi’s manual stick and Steptronic auto (with semi-manual function) both offer six-gears of slick shifting joy.

BMW 335i coupe is distinctly more feminine in its body design than its ancestors. A short front overhang and slanted headlights give it a hint of aggression, but a longer wheelbase and hood than the outgoing 3-series coupe and subtly flared fenders give the body style a more flowing profile.

In short, it looks good, and–as we found out in the Comfort section–it comes with a lot of nice-to-have cabin gadgets. But the 2007 BMW 335i’s real raison d’être is its driving experience, and gripping its thick, three-spoke leather-bound steering wheel confirms your suspicions that you could have been a racing driver had you been given the breaks.

BMW 320i Coupe is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 200-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway.

BMW 128i Coupe comes with the 230-horsepower, 200 pound-foot 3.0-liter with Valvetronic, and the 135i gets the twin-turbo 3.0 of course, good for 300 horses, 300 pound-feet from 1400 rpm, and BMW says, a 5.3-second 0-62 mph time and electronically limited 155 mph top speed.
