Introduction
BMW has sold high-performance automobiles under the M brand for over 20 years, with 82 percent being sold in the U.S. The German automaker refers to the new M Coupe as “a true GT,” designed in the same tradition as the classic Jaguar E-Type and Jensen Interceptor. On first sight, many people see this new BMW as having an odd, unusual shape. But that’s fine with BMW, since the automaker only plans to build a small number of the high-powered coupe. The suspension has been modified from the M Roadster, and the new coupe is 2.6 times stiffer than its topless counterpart. The M Coupe is also the fastest stock BMW ever sold in America, reaching 60 mph from a standstill in only 5.1 seconds. The 2000 M Coupe went on sale in May of 1999.

BMW will initially offer the all-new BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe in two configurations: xDrive50i and xDrive35i. With the exception of the 8- or 6-cylinder powerplant difference, both models offer the same list of standard features. The interior of the X6 is swathed in high-quality leather and wood. Individual style is expressed though the availability of 10 exterior colors, 11 leather options, and three trim choices.

Coupe-like in design, the X6 was designed as a 4-passenger vehicle with individual rear seats separated by a center console. Passengers and luggage compartment (large enough for four golf bags) are also distinctly separated from one another—again in coupe-like fashion. To increase transport capacity, the rear-seat backrests may be folded in an asymmetric split expanding capacity substantially. Standard on the X6 is a power-operated tailgate with automatic opening and closing. The driver is able to vary the final position of the tailgate when open to prevent damage when in a garage or underground parking area with a low ceiling.

When accelerating from 50-70 mph, downshifting isn’t just a sport, it’s a way of life. Luckily, the 328xi’s manual stick and Steptronic auto (with semi-manual function) both offer six-gears of slick shifting joy.
A short front overhang and slanted headlights give it a hint of aggression, but a longer wheelbase and hood than the outgoing 3-series coupe and subtly flared fenders give the body style a more flowing profile.

In short, it looks good, and–as we found out in the Comfort section–it comes with a lot of nice-to-have cabin gadgets. But the 2007 BMW 335i’s real raison d’être is its driving experience, and gripping its thick, three-spoke leather-bound steering wheel confirms your suspicions that you could have been a racing driver had you been given the breaks.

It would be beneficial to get the best car insurance plan for any BMW at that matter.
