As a kid growing up, I don’t think anyone at my school would have taken odds against my having a career in the army.

I joined the army cadets in 1977, and by 1980 I was made Cadet Sgt Major at Endike barracks in Hull. I captained Humberside and North East England army cadets at rugby sevens, colts canter, Humberside orienteering and shooting teams, anything to do with sport.

After leaving school I took on a YTS whilst I passed my written test at the army recruitment office in Hull. I was due to go to the Midlands for the physical test. I was devastated that I was too small for the Paras and at the same time I got offered a permanent post after completing the YTS. I spit my dummy out, as the saying goes, and did not join the army, so it is rather ironic that 10 years ago today, on 12 Feb 2004, I was blown up in a demolition accident, losing most of my right leg. (It could only happen to me.)

The accident happened whilst cutting a piece of redundant plant on the demolition site of the infamous American ghost ships in Hartlepool. The explosion blew off my right knee. I was flung twelve yards and buried in muddy water. I remember looking at what was left of my leg and initially thinking I had lost both legs. I remember feeling relieved to see my left foot poke out of the mud. The rest of my right leg was found some three hours later, forty-one metres from the initial explosion.

Luckily for me the two men I was working with, William and George, saved my life. I saw how much blood I had lost and asked William to get me my phone to ring my wife because I thought I might struggle to make it. William was ex-army and reassured me he had stopped the bleeding with a tourniquet. My wife was taken from her place of work in a fast police car forty miles to the hospital. She was told there was a very good chance I may not survive the night, and indeed I bowed out several times.

The demolition contract initially came about after a director of Able UK approached me whilst I was playing cricket against them. He said they had three ships to dismantle, with a chance of over one hundred more. He informed me I would dismantle one ship, and William and George the other two. I was very excited about the challenge, which would have seen me working in the North East for the foreseeable future.

The company were to employ two hundred men, which would have had a knock-on effect in boosting the local economy in a part of the country where it was much needed. I was interviewed on behalf of Able UK by national and local news channels. I told them of the systems we had in place for removing asbestos and any waste oils safely. I also told them that 95 percent of the ships would be recycled and it would be a win-win for everyone concerned in Hartlepool.

The future looked bright, but there is always someone to spoil things. In this case that someone was the local far-left branch of the Friends of the Earth (FOTE). These tree-hugging slimeballs have never done a real day’s work in their lives but love interfering with people’s livelihoods. They told the press lies that the ships were toxic and that the North East was to be a dumping ground.

Able UK did all they could to get the work started, including paying for an independent maritime surveyor, whom I accompanied around each ship. His report proved FOTE were wrong. However, together with the left-wing council, they succeeded in delaying vital planning permission for the cofferdam. That delay cost the company the chance to tender for the rest of the fleet, and the contract was lost.

Many of these ships were sold to places such as India, where they are dragged onto beaches. There they would have been cut open, allowing all the oils to be released into the sea. The asbestos would have also ended up in the sea. It would have been removed without personal or local protection and simply dumped without any regulations or overseers, such as the HSE, which we have in England.

I have seen videos of ships dismantled in the third world. They are cut up without any systems of work or personal protective equipment for the workforce. Fatalities from accidents happen daily, whilst those that do survive will suffer long time illnesses such as asbestosis. The hypocrites of Friends of the Earth do not realise that India and the rest of the third world are part of the earth that they claim to protect.

Incidentally, it was the same local branch of FOTE that organised a Parliamentary hustings meeting at a church for the Middlesbrough by-election and then refused entry to our candidate, Peter Foreman. FOTE Marxists claimed it was “democracy in action”. Far-left fascism in action is the truth of it.

My recovery took some time, both mentally and physically, as you might expect. However, I was very fortunate to have a beautiful supportive wife and three sons and was relatively financially secure. I also have a huge family and many good friends who help tremendously. I will not butter it up too much because it is not all plain sailing. I still suffer a lot of nerve pain and have severe hyposensitive scarring. The pain causes sleep problems, and I tire easily, but other than that, on the whole, I cope pretty well. We have since had three little girls to complete our family, so I think I have now done my bit for the indigenous Brits.

Losing a limb is a big deal, and I tend to strike a bond when meeting other amputees, especially those who have also suffered traumatic amputations. Whilst in various limb clinics, I have met many young veterans with various body parts missing. I look at these young lads and it is so upsetting. When I lost my leg I was 39 with my youth behind me. I had a wife and kids and a nice house; these kids, however, have nothing. If they had lost their limbs in civilian life, company insurances would be paying for state-of-the-art prosthesis. However, they must rely on our budget-hit, foreign-swamped NHS and charities such as Help for Heroes (H4H).

The traitor Tony Blair sent our troops to war on the back of lies of “weapons of mass destruction”. He then made £12m a year on the back of our fallen and injured heroes whilst working for companies and banks that benefitted from the war that he caused. Whilst that evil candidate for war crimes of the century gets richer by the day, these injured young men endure a life time of pain and suffering.

WE ARE NATIONALISTS; we are not the Labour party. We give, not take away, I feel better inside when I donate to H4H and will be donating £500 to get my appeal underway. I am hoping to raise £1,000, that is £100 for each year since my accident.

‘Thank you’ leaflet delivered in Tudhoe ward

Members of County Durham British National Party have been out since July in the Tudhoe ward in Spennymoor, County Durham, to deliver Pete Molloy’s ‘Thank you’ leaflet for the county council elections that took place in May.

Mr Molloy said: ‘Unfortunately the local press, such as the Spennynews and The Northern Echo, will not print our thank you letters in their respective publications, but that doesn’t bother us as we get the opportunity to inform the electorate of the dirty tricks the local Labour party group get up to.’

Leading the leafleting sessions was County Durham Organiser Adam Walker, whose rapport with the locals helped ensure the leaflet was well received in the ward. It also prompted one member of the community to write to Mr Walker to air their disgust over the mayoral situation on Spennymoor Town Council.

Commenting on the letter, Mr Walker said: ‘It is always a pleasure to get positive feedback from people in our area about the good work we do and how corrupt the Labour party mafia are.

‘I notice that once again we are the only party who have thanked people for voting for us. We will continue to work hard all year round and to offer people an alternative to the usual rubbish that is dragged out just before election time.’

Update on Adam Walker v Michael Gove in the High Court

This is just a quick update about the work to get Michael Gove’s latest edict overturned in the High Court.

Firstly, I would like to say a very sincere and very heartfelt thank you to all the people who have contributed to the appeal fund. It has been a tremendously uplifting experience to receive the donations and to read the messages of support.

I have tried to thank people individually as well, but in many cases donations have come through anonymously or with just a surname. If you haven’t heard from me directly, please take this as an expression of my gratitude.

As I said before, the accounts will be published so anybody can check their donation didn’t go astray, and every penny is being accounted for, whether it is cash, cheque, bank transfer or if it was sent via the Internet.

So far, we’ve been quite busy.

Getting the appeal registered and accepted was the first hurdle. To do that, we needed to very quickly research and understand the process and what the Court required.

In the absence of money to pay legally trained professionals, we had to work hard, and another round of thank yous goes to the people who helped and offered advice – even if much of it was contradictory!

The next step was raising the application fee, and if it wasn’t for those people who donated to the appeal, it would never have left the ground. It is truly shocking how much access to justice costs in this country when you have to pay for it yourself.

The days between sending in the paperwork and receiving the documents back with the Court seal were nervous but it was a great feeling when the envelope finally dropped through the door.

Once that was done, we could serve papers on Mr Gove and on his deputy, who signed the Order banning me from teaching for life. It’s just a pity we couldn’t be there to see Gove’s face when he opened the packet.

We’ve also written to the prime minister asking how sure he is of Gove’s decision, given that Gove has a history of ignoring advice from people who know what they’re talking about. Cameron himself has said how BNP teachers should be banned from the classroom – here’s the photo of him at the meeting, where he said it.

We’ve invited Dave to contribute to the appeal. If he’s confident in Gove’s decision, then he will surely welcome it being validated by the High Court. We’ll just have to wait and see...

Obviously it’s not over yet and there remains the actual work of presenting the evidence in the way the Court requires it. Again, people are still working for free in their spare time in the evenings and at weekends. We don’t have the luxury of a bottomless pit of public money to use to persecute our political opponents.

We don’t have government departments to impose corrupted political will on the people of Britain. We don’t have the huge funds available to the Unions to finance their activities.

What we do have is a sense of right and wrong.

It is right that I be excluded from teaching for a period after my conviction at the Crown Court. The hearing panel for teachers determined a review period of two years. That was extended to a lifetime ban on Gove’s authority by somebody who wasn’t even present at the hearing.

Even if the appeal isn’t successful, we will have shown Gove that he can’t just abuse his authority without it being brought to light.

Multiculti London is Europe’s capital of tuberculosis

Vibrant and diverse London has been declared Europe’s capital of tuberculosis, with over 3,500 cases of the disease recorded last year.

Public Health England’s annual TB in the UK report revealed the capital’s rate was a ‘worryingly high’ 42 cases for every 100,000 people – the highest of any western European capital.

There were 3,426 cases reported in London in 2012, with three-quarters of them involving people from South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

Revealingly, the two areas with far and away the highest rates of TB in London are Brent and Newham, the two most ethnically cleansed (or polluted, depending on your opinion) boroughs in the city.

Brent, which is 82% non-white, has a TB rate of 100.6 per 100,000, and Newham, which is 83.3% non-white, has a rate of 118.8 per 100,000.

It is estimated that TB costs Europe more than 500 million euros a year, plus a further 5.3 billion euros in productivity losses.

A study published in the European Respiratory Journal this month states the economic burden of TB far outweighs the likely costs of investing in much-needed research to develop more effective medicines and vaccines.

The emergence of strains of that can't be treated with even the most powerful of drugs has turned TB into one of the world's most pressing health problems.

According to the World Health Organization, TB infected 8.7 million people worldwide in 2011 and killed 1.4 million. As many as two million people may have drug-resistant strains by 2015, the Geneva-based health agency says.

Treating even typical TB is a long process. Patients need to take a cocktail of antibiotics for six months and many fail to complete the treatment. That, alongside overuse and misuse of antibiotics, has fuelled the emergence of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) and extensively drug resistant (XDR-TB), the report states.

The benefits of immigration: Only 10 percent of Somalis in Britain work full time

A recent article by The Economist provides us with some interesting statistics about Somalis in Britain, whom it calls our largest ‘refugee population’.

According to the 2011 census, 101,370 people in England and Wales were born in Somalia but less than a third of working age Somalis are employed, and just 10 percent of those are in full-time employment.

The article reports that Somali men are more often likely to be found ‘whiling away their days chewing khat’, a mild stimulative leaf, than working.

It goes on to state that in Waltham Forest, home to nearly 4,000 Somalis, 73% live in households on benefits, and more than 50% of British Somalis rent from local councils, the highest proportion of any foreign-born population.

It adds that over 80% of Somali-speaking pupils qualify for free school meals, and in 2010-11 only 33% of Somali children got five good GCSEs.

While the employment rate of all non-whites in Britain is lower than that of whites, Somalis have the lowest employment rate of all. According to ONS figures 87% of Somali women and 62% of Somali men are not in work of any kind, part or full time.

Muslim employment in Britain is low in general. In October 2010, the CEHR reported that 50% of Muslim men and 75% of Muslim women in the UK are unemployed.

Yet the anti-white media will still have you believe immigrants ‘do the jobs we don’t want to do’.

Adam Walker to sue Michael Gove

This is not an article about the BNP but about politics and about one man, Michael Gove, who is out of control.

Most of you will be aware of the case following my actions in 2011, when I followed three anti-social kids and punctured their bike tyres after they had disrupted a St George’s Day celebration.

It’s been reported in the newspapers and on the internet. Following my trial, when I could again speak freely, I made a public apology via the BNP website HERE.

There is no excusing what I did, and, even though many people might disagree, I would always say that calling the police is the right thing to do when faced with a group of kids looking for trouble. Do not take matters into your hands.

Since the court case itself, there has also been an investigation by the new National College for Teaching and Learning. The NCTL is part of Michael Gove’s Department for Education.

I don’t actually work as a teacher anymore because of the problems the Establishment has with BNP members being allowed in a classroom.

The Maurice Smith report commissioned by the previous government concluded that banning teachers from being BNP members would be “taking a very large sledgehammer to crack a minuscule nut”.

Mr Smith himself said that to bar teachers, or other members of the school workforce, from joining non-proscribed organisations would be a profound political act.

Despite this, I still cooperated fully with this investigation. Let’s face it, I’d brought the attention upon myself, and I held my hands up to what I’d done wrong.

The hearing was last month and, of course, I fully admitted the genuine offences, just as I did in court. Interestingly, the NCTL tried to accuse me again of more exaggerated offences, including an allegation that I had threatened a child with a knife.

This accusation was utter rubbish and was contradicted by all the other witness statements at the time. The allegation had already been included in the crown court case but was rejected after I pleaded not guilty.

But it seemed that Michael Gove wanted me banned from teaching and didn’t care that I’d been to court and not been found guilty.

The new NCTL agency he set up in April this year was going to have another go at convicting me. It was only when their barrister (yes, they paid for a solicitor and a barrister) agreed that if the NCTL insisted on trying to bring that up again, then it would be contrary to British and international law in that you cannot be tried twice for the same crime.

This wasn’t the first time that Michael Gove had disagreed with such a judgement. I was brought in front of the General Teaching Council in 2010, accused of racial intolerance.

They were looking at comments I’d made about the two illegal immigrants who had shot dead a female police officer and about the people who had beheaded the British hostage Ken Bigley.

I said they were savages and that in many ways Britain had become a dumping ground for the filth of the Third World. Some people would agree with that and some people would not.

But the panel looked at the evidence and said even though they were troubled by what I had written, I was not guilty of racial intolerance.

I was, however, guilty of making personal use of a school laptop within school hours and received the appropriate sanction for that. In a temper, Michael Gove abolished the GTC a week later, and, in a Commons statement, he described the panel’s decision as “quite wrong”.

He pledged that he would allow school heads and governing bodies to sack teachers if they were members of the BNP. That first failed attempt to have me struck off for life cost the taxpayer £72,746.60, which they admitted in writing in March 2011.

Before my case in 2010, every teacher in Britain had to pay an annual fee to the GTC as well as their union subscriptions. Their union subs are optional but the GTC subs weren't.

After that body found me not guilty, Gove became so furious that he smashed up his GTC toy, and since then teachers no longer have to pay that particular stealth tax to Gove's department.

The disbanded GTC became the Teaching Agency, but, after only a couple of years, it became the National College for Teaching and Leadership after a merger with the National College for School Leadership.

I have received responses to Freedom of Information requests from these bodies about their staff. Nearly everybody who worked in the GTC was then immediately employed by the Teaching Agency, and they all still work for the larger NCTL.

So Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Education, first disagreed with a professional panel in 2010 and abolished the entire department as a result.

Then Michael Gove tried to have me struck off by trying to have a re-trial of the crown court case, even though the judge went on record to say he hoped the driving ban would not have an adverse impact on my employment and said: “I hope that your employers continue to value your good work as they have in the past and regard this episode as an utter aberration.”

Michael Gove was not present at the first GTC hearing to ask me any questions. Nor was he present at the crown court case. Nor was he present at the hearing in June.

He did not hear the evidence, and he did not ask any questions. His subordinate, the deputy director of the NCTL, was also not present to ask any questions.

And when the panel recommended that I be struck off with a review period of two years, I accepted my punishment. But then Michael Gove stepped in again.

His deputy, who as I said had not been there to hear the evidence or engage in the investigation in any way, decided to sweep aside the panel’s decision and impose a lifetime ban instead.

I have the chance to appeal this decision in the High Court, and that is why I am writing this article. It will be impossible for me in a practical sense to return to teaching in the UK.

I am too high-profile with my associations with the BNP for any of the teaching unions to sit back quietly and let me practise my profession.

And I’m a good teacher. I have the statistics and testimonies from former pupils and parents to prove it. Despite all the opinions and complaints from people that a BNP member shouldn’t be allowed to be a teacher in a school, nobody has ever presented any evidence or a witness to say that my personal politics were ever even referred to in a classroom.

My politics are my own personal views. They are even protected under the Human Rights Act. I kept them to myself whilst at work.

That is another issue. The question here is whether it is right for Michael Gove to be allowed to try a third time to sweep aside the considered judgement of a professional body or even a crown court judge and have his own way. There are more victims of Michael Gove’s underhand and unconstitutional methods than just me.

The main teaching unions struggle on a daily basis to protect their members from his idiocy, and, in May this year, the National Association of Head Teachers conference passed a vote of no confidence in Michael Gove and his policies.

If Michael Gove gets away with this in my case, then who is next? People are at as much risk from the fascist Michael Gove if they are BNP, Labour, UKIP, LibDems, Greens or even a faction within his own Conservative party.

My appeal deadline is closing, and I need funds to fight my corner.

As I said at the start of this article, this is not about the British National Party, although we are always in the firing line.

This is about stopping a political monster, who is clearly out of control.

Although I would much prefer to be able to afford an expensive High Court barrister, I will be representing myself to keep costs down, and I believe the case will stand up on its own two feet.

Michael Gove should not be allowed to abuse his authority. His actions show prejudice, show intolerance and show corruption. He has no regard for the law and no regard for the teaching profession or the education received by schoolchildren.

I know I did wrong, and I deserve to be struck off with a two-year review period.

That or even less is what happens in cases such as mine. I am not asking to be let off. I am asking the High Court to set aside Michael Gove’s decision and to uphold the one that the panel came to when they examined the evidence and had the opportunity to cross-examine me.

Please help me to make that case in the High Court.

I have set up an appeal fund quite separate from the normal finances of the Party or any other group.

Every penny donated will go towards the Court fees and costs.

Even if we win, I stand to make no personal gain because I will never be employed again as a teacher in any state school.

If there is any appeal money left after the High Court hearing, it will be donated to a recognised charity quietly and without any fuss.

I understand that most charities will not accept donations from political groups, and I stress again that this is not a BNP appeal but is all off my own back.

There is an argument for the Party to fight this on my behalf, but I do not feel it would be right.

Firstly, this affects everybody, not just BNP members.

Secondly, if I hadn’t lost my temper on that St George’s Day, this wouldn’t have happened.

South Tyneside by-election, Primrose ward

The British National Party is contesting the Primrose ward council by-election in Jarrow, South Tyneside, on 27th June.

We will be holding two days of action prior to the poll.

The first day of action will be on Thursday 20th June 2013 and will be followed by an evening meeting with guest speakers, free buffet and raffle.

The second day of action will be on the election day, Thursday 27th June 2013, and will include rounding up ballot box voters. There will also be a garden party with buffet for the hard workers before we attend and check the count at 10 p.m.

British Veterans’ Group represented at anti-Islamification demonstration

On Saturday 25th May 2013, the British Veterans’ Group’s (BVG) Veterans Officer, Pete Molloy, attended an anti-Islamification demonstration in Newcastle upon Tyne that had been organised by the English Defence League.

Amongst the several thousand anti-Islamification protesters were many British military veterans, including another former member of Pete’s former regiment, The King’s Regiment, as well as parents of serving armed forces personnel.

One of the parents had lost her son in Afghanistan while he was serving with the Royal Corps of Signals. She felt she had to be there for him because of the brutal death of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich at the hands of British-born African Islamists.

Explaining why the BVG were at the demonstration, Pete said: ‘The brutal murder of one of our soldiers at the hands of Islamists made it important to attended and show solidarity for a comrade and to denounce the Islamification of Britain, which all Islamists want, and we British people don’t.

‘We all need to make a stand against the enemies of our people and country, so it is important that all Nationalist groups put aside their differences and work together’ – Pete Molloy

‘It was the first anti-Islamification demonstration that a couple of parents had been to. They didn’t know what to expect, so Mick and I took them under our wing and made sure they were all right.

Following the horrific murder of a British soldier, you would think that people would respect veterans and military families, but the trade unions and local Muslim councillors showed their anti-British stance once again by turning up to protest against them.

Prior to travelling to Newcastle, Pete laid some flowers at the cenotaph in Spennymoor, County Durham, on behalf of the BVG as part of a national Facebook campaign for Drummer Lee Rigby. R.I.P. Lee.

Help catch this man

The suspect

CCTV footage of the man suspected of defacing the £7.5 million Bomber Command memorial with the word ‘Islam’ has been released online.

The images and video show a man, described as being ‘of African appearance’, moving in and out of the shadows to spray the monument in London in the early hours on Monday.

The pictures will undoubtedly prove to be a great disappointment to the anti-white media, which was fervently promoting the idea that the graffiti may have been the work of what it calls ‘far-right extremists’.

The Monument to the 55,573 Bomber Command veterans lost in the Second World War had the word ‘Islam’ sprayed on it in red paint.

The same night the £2 million Animals At War memorial nearby was plastered with the word ‘Islam’ and other messages, also in red paint.

The damage came days after the vicious murder of soldier Lee Rigby by black Muslims in Woolwich.

Last night Bomber Command veterans said they hoped the footage will help bring the perpetrator to justice. Gerry Abrahams, 90, of Margate, Kent, who flew 31 missions against Nazi Germany, said: ‘If anyone knows who this man is, please tell the police. He should be brought to justice. I am shocked and appalled by this vandalism.’

Footage from cameras linked to the RAF Club in Piccadilly opposite the memorial shows a man approaching it between 3.10am and 3.20am on Monday.

Wearing a woolly hat and a loose jacket, he makes a phone call, then looks around shiftily before spraying a couple of letters on the facade.

He stops and darts into the shadows just before traffic comes past. After looking around he sprays more letters on the memorial. He moves inside to the statue of seven airmen before walking briskly off towards Knightsbridge.

While he is inside the memorial, a car, which resembles an Audi RS4, pulls up for a few minutes before driving off.

The graffiti is likely to cost tens of thousands of pounds to repair. A spokesman for the RAF Benevolent Fund, which is responsible for the memorial’s maintenance, said: ‘The paint has seeped in to such a depth that the use of solvents is unlikely to bring the memorial back to how it should be. The worst case is taking the damaged stone out and replacing it with fresh stone, which will be very expensive.’

This will be on top of the £1.5 million needed to ensure the memorial’s maintenance in perpetuity.

The Metropolitan Police said the incidents were being treated as criminal damage and called on anyone with information to call Westminster CID via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Swedish nationalists patrol the streets of Stockholm as riots continue

As the immigrant riots continue to rage in the Swedish capital, hundreds of nationalists have taken matters into their own hands and begun to patrol local neighbourhoods.

Around 200 Swedes have gathered in the Älvsjö district of Stockholm this evening to defend their city, and more people are joining throughout the night.

The group is made up of members from Nordic Youth, the Party of the Swedes and the Swedish Resistance Movement, as well as many others not part of any organisation.

According to the Swedish nationalist news site Realisten, the men have travelled to the nearby area of Tumba, where there is said to be continued unrest and several large fires.

Participants in the patrols have written on Facebook that their intentions are to end the unrest, protect members of the emergency services and to defend people who are being attacked by rioters.

Early reports from Realisten stated that police had attacked some of the nationalist groups, but the patrols are continuing on into the night regardless.

The riots have been ongoing in Muslim areas of Stockholm since Sunday night. In that time, immigrants have set alight hundreds of cars, thrown Molotov cocktails at firemen, pelted ambulances with stones, assaulted police and passers-by and vandalised schools and shops.

Just 30 percent want to stay in the EU

Less than a third of British citizens want our country to remain a member of the EU, a new poll has found.

The ICM poll asked the same question that could be appearing on EU referendum ballot papers in 2017: ‘Do you think that the UK should remain a member of the EU?.’

Forty-six percent said they want to leave, a higher figure than in other recent surveys, while just 30 percent said they want Britain to remain in the EU.

Additionally, 44 percent want an EU referendum immediately, with 29 percent prepared to wait to 2017.

The results come just a few days after it emerged that British taxpayers will have to pump an extra £770 million into EU coffers this year in the latest attempt to prop up the faltering superstate.

The increase will take Britain's contributions to £14.7 billion for 2013, which might only be the first instalment of a bill that could cost us yet another £400 million by the autumn.

A black racist immigrant who told a shocked mother her kids “would be shot and hung” in his country walked free from court on Wednesday, reports the Scottish Sun.

South African pastor Solomon Makhathoela branded neighbour Catherine Kerr “white scum” after learning the mum-of-two was unwed.

And the crazed bigot told her fiancé Alan Brown it was a “f****** disgrace” they had kids.

But Makhathoela escaped with a telling off at Stirling Sheriff Court despite being found guilty of racially aggravated abuse.

Last night Alan, 28, said: “I’m sure the courts would have dealt with me more harshly if it had been the other way round.

“The guy is worse than the devil. It’s a living hell having him above us and he gets off with not even a slap on the wrist.”

Just a month before launching his hate rant in April 2012, jobless Makhatholela was fined for trying to hit Alan with a golf umbrella.

But the dad said his family welcomed Makhathoela, 49, when he moved into the flat above theirs in Raploch, Stirling, with his wife and two kids in 2011. He said: “At the beginning he was fine. I even helped him move his stuff in.

“He kept calling Catherine ‘my wife’ until eventually I told him we weren’t married.

“Ever since then, he’s been a nightmare. He said it was a f****** disgrace we had kids outside of wedlock.”

The animosity escalated until his racist outburst. Alan said: “Catherine went outside and he shouted she was ‘white scum’.

“Then he said if our kids had been born in his country they would have been hung and shot.”

But Sheriff William Gilchrist simply admonished Makhathoela, telling him: “You have to ensure there are no further incidents.”

Last night Tory Chief Whip John Lamont said the ruling appeared “too lenient”.

He added: “Sending Makhathoela away without punishment sends a bad message.”

Maybe it would have been different if he had been in a tram at the time.

The real reasons why reported crime is down

The government and their media lackeys recently made a big deal about a drop in the number of reported crimes in Britain, claiming the country is now a safer place than it was ten years ago (unless, of course, you’re unfortunate enough to live in one of our more ‘enriched’ areas).

But Britain’s frontline policemen tell a different story.

Police officers believe crime is rising but fewer offences are being reported and investigated because of cutbacks and a lack of faith in the justice system, according to a police spokesman.

The damning verdict flies in the face of statistics, released last month, which show crime levels at an ‘historic low’.

This week at their annual conference in Bournemouth the Police Federation of England and Wales will tell their members crime is almost certainly on the rise.

They say soft sentences imposed on offenders deter people from reporting crime and many 999 calls are not dealt with due to job cuts.

Crime in England and Wales is allegedly at its lowest level for more than 30 years, according to the Office for National Statistics.

But Steve White, vice chairman of the Police Federation, said: ‘The ONS portrays a picture of reported crime, but we believe a lot of crime still goes unreported.

‘Historically recessions have always produced an increase in crime. We would be surprised if in fact the real level of crime is not rising.

‘Our officers are not saying they are less busy than they used to be because there is much less crime. They are at full stretch.’

Mr White added that fewer people are reporting offences to get a crime reference number to collect on their insurance because fewer can afford cover.

In addition, just under a third of police stations in England and Wales have closed or are due to close, making it harder to report crimes.

True level of crime not being recorded

Mr Williams, who took over as Federation chairman in January, said there was considerable anecdotal evidence from police officers that the true level of crime is not being recorded.

‘Closing police stations and reducing the number of cops means it is not so easy for victims to report crime to us,’ he said.

‘And most significantly bobbies find themselves under huge pressure about how to record crime.

‘Crimes are downgraded in seriousness or the numbers are hidden. For example, if ten caravans are broken into overnight with ten different victims it will sometimes be recorded as just one crime.

‘And a stolen mobile phone will be recorded as lost property, and so will not appear in crime data at all.

‘If there is a crime where there is little or no evidence, and little chance of police detecting it, then that will be screened out at a very early stage so it does not appear in the stats.’

He added: ‘With property crimes such as burglary and mugging, victims would historically report them because they needed a crime number for their insurance.

‘People are now not too bothered about insuring their property and so it does not get reported.’

Drop in reported crime mirrors police cutbacks

In the latest figures published last month, the total number of crimes recorded by the police fell eight percent to 3.7 million last year.

This mirrors an eight-percent cut in the number of police officers employed in England and Wales since the Coalition came to power. The ConDems have axed 11,500 police jobs so far, reducing the number of officers to 132,235 – and 16,900 more posts will go by 2015.

The estimated level of crime in England and Wales fell by 5 percent to 8.9 million offences against adults, according to the Crime Survey for England and Wales, which asks the public about their experiences of crime regardless of whether they reported incidents to the police.

Separate figures showed the number of suspects arrested by police fell more than twice as fast as the decline in crime rates.

The Opposition said the nine percent fall in arrests raised concerns that criminals were ‘getting away with it’.

The Office for National Statistics has suggested that pressure to meet targets may be leading officers to downgrade crimes.

Durham County Council staff continue to get huge salaries despite budget cuts

The North East’s largest council has come under fire for paying six-figure remuneration packages to 22 staff – more than the previous year, despite unprecedented budget cuts.

According to the Taxpayers’ Alliance (TPA) Town Hall Rich List published on Friday, 22 Durham County Council (DCC) staff earned more than £100,000 in 2011-12 – an increase of five on the previous year.

The figure puts Durham, which faces cuts of nearly £220 million between 2010 and 2018, 12th in the councils ‘league table’ topped by Camden, which paid six-figure remuneration to 40 employees.

According to the survey 2,525 town hall staff across the UK are paid over £100,000 – and 103 councils employed more staff receiving over £100,000 than they did last year.

Some 636 staff received more than £150,000 and 42 more than £250,000.

The TPA says that the numbers are almost certainly an underestimate as the opacity of some councils’ accounts makes it impossible to separate teaching staff from council staff.

The highest paid across the UK was Katherine Kerswell, former group managing director of Kent County Council. Her total remuneration was £589,165, which included a sizeable redundancy package.

TPA chief executive Matthew Sinclair said: ‘Sadly, too many local authorities are still increasing the number of highly-paid staff on their payroll, some of whom are given hundreds of thousands of pounds in compensation just to move from one public sector job to another.’

The total bill to taxpayers for Durham’s £100,000-plus earners is £2,955,102 a year.

The highest paid member of DCC is chief executive George Garlick, whose remuneration for 2011-12 was £226,477.

The biggest earner in the North East is Sunderland chief exec Dave Smith, who gets £240,445.

Northumberland had 15 staff on six-figure remuneration packages.

It is the British National Party’s policy to cap all council salaries at £100,000 a year.

The Tudhoe Division was the target division for County Durham British National Party in this year’s county council elections. We also had a paper candidate, Amanda Molloy, in the Spennymoor Division and the Spennymoor ward of the Parish Town Council.

It was a hard-fought campaign, which started at the end of January 2013, after a couple of weeks off from the Tudhoe ward by-election for the Parish Town Council.

Everyone who took part in the campaign from the North East Region worked hard delivering our leaflets and canvassing, to bring a real choice to the people of Tudhoe.

This election wasn’t going to be as straightforward as the previous one in 2008. This was due to UKIP putting up a candidate for the first time and the newly established “Spennymoor Independents People Before Politics”. The latter had been formed mainly from councillors who had left the Liberal Democrats last year.

In the County Council election for the Tudhoe Division, Pete Molloy came 4^thwith 410 votes, beating UKIP, the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives. In the Tudhoe ward for the Parish Town Council, he managed to receive 228 votes. Pete saw his vote increase by 98 votes in the Tudhoe ward from the 130 he received last January.

Both of our candidates, Amanda and Pete, are very grateful to the people of Spennymoor and Tudhoe who came out and voted for them, as well as those Party activists who helped out.

Speaking about the election, Pete said: “We fought the best possible campaign we could with the few activists we had, and I am extremely proud and thankful for their efforts.

“The best part of the campaign for me was getting to talk to people on their doorsteps, with many of them commenting that we were the only ones who came out to listen to them.

“Many of the electorate had their opinions changed about the BNP after meeting us face to face and hearing what our policies really are, which were different to the ones they had read in the papers. I didn’t change everyone’s mind, but most of those people still thanked me and shook my hand for taking the time knock on their doors.

“During the campaign I received a letter from a local 84-year-old veteran who had voted for me last January and again in this campaign. He has pledged his continuing support to me as he knows that the BNP makes sense and is angry about what the political elite have done to our country.

“I’d not only like to thank that gentleman, but also everyone else that voted for me.”

Elsewhere in the North East, Lady Dorothy Brookes contested the South Shields parliamentary by-election, beating the Lib Dems and finishing sixth with 2.9% of the vote.

Sadly, a group of left-wing activists had to sour the mood of the evening by posting a series of bigoted messages on Twitter regarding Lady Brookes’ physical appearance.

Imagine if dozens of BNP members took to the internet to send offensive tweets about a black candidate’s appearance. There would be press outrage and a spate of arrests for “hate speech”. But as usual, white patriots are fair game.

It seems that the local Labour Party have no shame and will use any means to push their anti-British politics on people!

When I made a visit to Spennymoor Town FC’s club shop on Tuesday 30th April to see about purchasing a top for the trip to Wembley, I noticed that there were two Labour Party posters, one above the other, in the shop window.

I asked the assistant whether the club wanted to remain politically neutral and would allow me to place my BNP election leaflet in the window.

A lady connected to the shop said the Labour posters should not be in the window and they were promptly taken down.

As a fan of football, I wish Spennymoor Town FC every success in the FA Vase final, but as a politician, let’s keep politics out of sport.

Give peace a chance: Vote BNP

Recent findings released by a financial think tank have once again unwittingly underlined the undeniable links between crime and race.

The UK Peace Index, published this week by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IES), ranks all of the UK’s local authorities by the amount of crime committed in each area.

Unsurprisingly, the top ten most peaceful places have large White British majorities, whereas the least peaceful places are all majority non-White British.

Broadland in Norfolk (95.9% White British) was identified as the most peaceful council borough in England and Wales.

It contains three market towns and covers part of the Norfolk Broads.

Although it has a population of around 125,000, only eight violent crimes were recorded in 2012.

Other locations featured in the top ten are the hideously white Craven (95.4% White British), Maldon (95.8% White British) and East Dorset (96.2% White British).

The most dangerous place to live is Lewisham in South London (41.5% White British), where more than 400 violent crimes are committed every month.

In fact, all the top ten least peaceful areas are in London.

They include the vibrant and diverse Tower Hamlets (31.2% White British), Brent (18% White British) and Newham (16.7% White British).

The average White British population for the top ten most peaceful places is 90.5%, whereas it is only 35% for the ten least peaceful places.

The IES report states that just a 9% reduction in violence and crime would save the country over £11 billion, the cost of hosting the London Olympic Games.

The choice is clear: For a peaceful and more prosperous Britain, vote BNP, the only anti-immigration party. For a violent and destitute Britain, vote for anyone else.

How the results are calculated

The UK Peace Index is based on a combination of five factors - the rate of homicide, violent crime, weapons crime and public disorder, and the number of police officers, all drawn from Home Office statistics.

Homicide and violent crime are given greater weighting in the calculation as they are considered most damaging to the general peace - each makes up 26.7% of the score.

Police numbers account for 20% of the final rating, with weapons crime and public disorder accounting for 13.3% each.

Combining the five measures creates an artificial number between one and five for each region which allows all areas of the UK to be directly compared with each other for their overall levels of violence.

The report that ‘crushes the myth that immigration is profitable’

One of the left’s favourite claims made to justify immigration is that it benefits the economy. The truth, however, is, as usual, very different.

A recent study by Norway’s national statistics office (SSB) found that immigration has cost the country at least 71 billion kroner (£7.8 billion) over the last seven years.

This amounts to what the SSB calls a ‘tax’ of £3,100 for every working Norwegian citizen.

But the true total is estimated to be much higher.

According to the SSB’s report, because the 246,000 net immigrants who have come to Norway since 2005 also have a right to state benefits, they will eventually cost a staggering £42 billion more than they will pay in taxes, given that the welfare and tax system remains unchanged.

Economist Erling Holmøy, a senior researcher at SSB, said: ‘The cost is borne by the average Norwegian through taxes, or through reduced quality or capacity of a variety of welfare services, including health and education.’

The Norwegian newspaper Finansavisen simply stated that the report ‘crushes the myth that immigration is profitable’.

Good immigration and bad immigration

Nick Clegg once said ‘there is good immigration and bad immigration’, and, according to the statistics, he was right.

The SSB’s figures show that every ‘non-Western’ immigrant who settles in Norway costs the country an average of £450,000 over his lifetime.

East European immigrants also negatively affect the economy, costing £89,000 each.

But ‘Western’ immigrants actually do contribute to the host country’s finances, adding approximately £89,000 per person.

So in other words, Western (i.e. white) immigration is good, whereas Third World (non-white) immigration is bad. Terrible, in fact.

The SSB underlines some of the reasons for this disparity. It says that:

1. Non-Western immigrants do not remain in employment for as long as other groups

2. Those of them who do work contribute less tax

3. They receive more benefits and other state assistance than other demographics

4. They have more children

5. They are more likely to remain in the country permanently than other immigrants are.

The SSB also lists the employment rates of the various ethnicities resident in Norway. Bottom of the list for 2011 are Somalia, Eritrea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Morocco. All six ethnicities have an employment rate of below 50 per cent, with an average of 41 per cent.

The percentages drop even more amongst women. Somalian women, for example, have an employment rate of just 23 per cent, compared with the female ethnic Norwegian level of 68 per cent.

If we were to apply the Norwegian calculations to the United Kingdom, a very rough estimate of the cost of non-white immigration into the country amounts to a staggering £115 billion every year.

Maybe it’s time our government followed Norway’s lead and told us the true cost of immigration, instead of just repeating the clearly baseless lie that it’s ‘vital for Britain’s economy’.

Banned: Union flags at Wembley final

For as long as I can remember, it has always been part of our culture that, when going to a football match, supporters bring Union flags with their team’s name across them.

That has now changed for this year’s FA Vase final between Spennymoor Town and Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 4th May 2013.

According to a rumour being circulated around the County Durham town of Spennymoor, the reason for the banning of our flag in our national stadium is that – yes, you’ve guessed it – the British National Party is trying to use Spennymoor Town’s final to promote itself for the upcoming county council elections on 2nd May. I was told of this rumour by a person connected to Spennymoor Town F.C.

With the British National Party having a good support base in the town, I feel that this rumour has been maliciously put out to try to discredit our party’s two candidates, with the hope that the electorate will be disgusted and that we will lose support on election day.

Spennymoor Town’s ground is in the Tudhoe Division, which is the seat I am contesting, and I am sure that you, like me, probably know who started this nasty rumour.

I wouldn’t dream of trying to manipulate a sporting event for my political gain, as I am of the strong belief that politics and sport should always remain separate.

Define irony: Muslims bemoan unwanted building they say will cause traffic chaos for mosque

Muslims are getting angry again, this time in Southampton.

According to local pro-Islam rag the Southern Daily Echo, ‘Muslim leaders’ in the city are fuming over plans for new student tower blocks that will allegedly cause chaos for Muslims trying to park at three local mosques. Yes, three.

A 20-storey and a 14-storey block of flats housing 686 students are earmarked for Charlotte Place in St Mary’s Road at the heart of one of the city’s most ‘ethnically diverse’ (i.e. Islamified) areas, the paper reports.

But the plans for the twin towers have been criticised by local Muslims, who claim the students ‘don’t give a damn about the community’ and will be a ‘disaster’ for parking.

Southampton Muslim Council ‘information officer’ Mohammad Khan said the extra students would put even more pressure on parking in the area, especially on Friday prayers, when more than 2,000 worshippers congregate at the three mosques in the neighbourhood.

Khan, who is the secretary at the Abu Bakr Masjid in Argyle Road, where 1,200 Muslims pray on Fridays, said: ‘Parking is already a nightmare, so if all these extra people are moving into the area where are people going to park?

‘It’s going to be a disaster – they don’t give a damn about the community.’

Kurshid Drabu is chairman of the Medina Mosque in St Mary’s Road, where more than 700 people attend Friday prayers.

He said: ‘We are absolutely flabbergasted the way the council has bulldozed this process through and have taken very little account of the concerns raised by the local community.

‘We will have hundreds of students living next door to the mosque and their life is full of joy and mischief but a place of worship is a place that requires reverence and we feel disturbance is likely to be caused.

‘There is going to be huge parking problems and you have got to have the infrastructure before you can have a huge block of flats.’

Ahmed Hussain, vice chairman of the Razvia Dar-ul-Uloom and Masjid, also off St Marys Road, said: ‘The students are our future assets and they need somewhere to live, but the residents around here would like to live peacefully too.

‘The extra people moving to the area can make things difficult, especially with the parking.’

Maybe now they know how it feels.

EU asylum applications continue to rise

The number of people applying for asylum in the European Union has risen for the third year in a row.

In 2012 there were 332,000 asylum applications, up from 302,000 the year before, and up from 260,000 in 2010.

The highest number of applicants in 2012 was from Afghanistan (8% of the total number), Syria (7%), Russia (7%), Pakistan (6%) and Serbia (6%), according to the EU statistics office Eurostat.

The most popular country for registration was Germany (77,500 applicants, or 23% of the total), followed by France (60,600, or 18%), Sweden (43,900, or 13%), the United Kingdom (28,200, or 8%) and Belgium (28,100, or 8%).

These five member states accounted for more than 70% of all applicants registered in the ‘EU27’ in 2012.

The highest number of applicants to the UK came from Pakistan, Iran and Sri Lanka.

In 2012, over a quarter of the applications (27%) were granted. However, those who were rejected have the right to appeal, while remaining in the host country.

Almost 8,000 applications to live in the UK were successful. This is despite the fact that the UK is several safe countries away from any applicant’s homeland and therefore has no obligation to accept any such so-called asylum seekers.

More importantly, it has been determined that as few as 13% of failed asylum seekers are ever deported from the UK. This means that the actual number of new asylum seekers allowed to stay in Britain in 2012 is closer to 26,700.

In 2011, the most recent calendar year on record, over 566,000 immigrants came to live in the UK, by far the highest number of any country in Europe.

Only the British National Party will shut the door on the immigration invasion.
