Here is a beautiful 1980 Wellcraft 34ft Scarab power boat in excellent condition inside and out. It is an original Arizona boat that has always been in fresh water and stored indoors. The boat was recently redone with all new interior and only about 90 hours on the rebuilt motors. It is powered by twin 7.4L 454ci engines that really move this boat along the water. It does a top speed of about 70 to 80 mph. The hull of the boat is in excellent condition with no cracks. The interior was redone a few years back and looks excellent. It has a like new bimini top in excellent condition to protect you from sun. The props are in great condition and it has power trim tabs. This boat is lake ready and ready to go. I took the boat in trade from a friend of mine who has owned it for several years and took very good care of it. As it is a 1980 it is not brand new and may need a few little cosmetic tinkering here are there. Like there is a crack in the windshield and one of the engine cover hinges is starting to pull loose. Nothing major, just a few small items but nothing that will stop you from taking it to the lake. The trailer is a 1996 triple axle Trial Right in great condition with excellent tires. ****THIS BOAT IS NOT
PERFECT AND IN NEED OF SOME REPAIR****

This
boat is 26 years old and therefore shows signs of wear. It is in useable
condition, but definitely needs some TLC.
All 3 buoyancy compartments are tight and maintain pressure (no leaks).
The keel has a slow leak and will deflate over a 24-hour period. THERE ARE SEVERAL NON-ESSENTIAL
AREAS WHERE THE GLUED JOINTS HAVE SEPARATED, including but not
limited to, 1 attachment point for the spray hood support on the portside(MISSING),
the thrust plate, the reinforcement lip along the spray hood(DETACHED BUT
INCLUDED) , and some other miscellaneous areas. None of these defects will
affect any of the air compartments or the structural integrity of the boat, but
they should be repaired before use. This boat will make a good project for
someone that would like a Genuine ZODIAC but doesn’t mind performing some minor
repairs. I have used this boat with my 25 HP outboard and it performed
amazingly in all types of waters, rivers or lakes.

If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay for over 12 years and am an avid powersports rider. As I have gotten older I like to spend a little time with my family on weekends and since have gotten more involved with boats since you can spend time with friends and family, skiing, tubing, grilling etc. (and most all lakes have motorcycle/ATV riding area's so I get my favorite pastimes done in the same day and no one gets short changed) This boat I bought the beginning of last season and took out quite a lot. It is a good boat.What I have learned about boats is that 20 foot and up are the way to go-far smoother on the water and they hold more people. This one with the open bow has tons of room and it has the 4.3 litre v-6 that has around 200-210 HP and so will easily pull a skier. It is smooth and fast on the water and gets surprisingly good fuel mileage . I have been told the V-6 is the best compromise on a boat because of HP vs. weight. It has been very impressive. (A friend has a Crownline with the 8.2 litre V-8 and his runs 8mph faster than my boat and he uses exactly TWICE as much fuel!) As you can see this boat has the center fold down seats so you can lay out in the sun, a sun pad over the engine for exactly the same purpose and the seats up front and two beside the engine compartment. It runs extremely quiet and I have not had it out this year but recently had it serviced so it should be ready to go. I have all the original owners manuals and sales brochures and it has the white bimini, a bow cover, and another cover that will cover the back. They are original too and although a little tight (since they never get used) are in good shape. The gel coat still holds a shine but I am sure could be waxed to even a higher luster-this boat is really clean for a used one and one this size from Bayliner-not including the covers and bimini has a BASE price of $36300. I am listing this very nice boat for only 18% of that at $6395 with NO RESERVE if you want to gamble on losing it. Nice used boats are hard to find. Rare opportunity to own something truly unique. Beautiful Master apartment with new Ikea kitchen, large living room, generous bedroom and new bathroom. In addition there are 3 more very large private rooms, all with en suite full baths. There is a ton of storage for bicycles, tools, toys or even a full workshop in the front entrance way. A laundry room with a nice Bosch front loader and dryer, is conveniently located for all to use. Some of these pictures are a little older, the rooms have been upgraded. Overall 3200 sq ft of air conditioned space. Approximately 28 ft X 48 ft.

The slip is deeded and includes trash removal/recycling, parking for 2 vehicles, 24 hr security and regular pumpouts. The slip rental is $1030 pm. Due to the size and nature of this wonderful home, I do not recommend it be used as a second, or vacation home. It requires regular maintenance and upkeep, and therefore a year round presence. This is also required by the City, it must be owner occupied. Although there is a small efficiency on board that could be used as a caretakers unit. There is of couirse, plenty of room for room mates, relatives, friends and guests to live with you and defray the expenses, and yet everyone has their own private space due to the very large size of this wonderful home. It is registered as a vessel and there fore only requires annual registration/tag renewal. It does NOT qualify for property taxes of any kind, nor does it require any building permits to work on it.

Houseboat living, especially on one as large as this, is a definite lifestyle change, and it may not be suitable for everyone. For those who love it, it is the best way to live! It has recently been completely repainted and had some extensive upgrades to the outside decks and inside areas. Most furniture and fixtures like the washer/dryer etc, can be included in the price. There are some projects that need finishing, but they are all cosmetic and do not affect in anyway the structure or safety of the vessel.

I will include as much or as little furniture as purchaser requires. Currently it is fully furnished, probably too much stuff to be honest! I will be taking my personal things, but there are brand new beds, sofas, chairs, bookcases etc, all kinda Pier 1-ish, that I will include in the price if the Buy it Now is reached. Washer/dryer and all kitchen appliances are included regardless.

Home was built in the mid 70's and is solid and safe. It has been tented 2 times in the past 7 years and has had many upgrades and constant maintenance.

Again, this is a VERY rare opportunity to own something this large in the center of Key West. The land based housing prices here are astronomical, this is a rare and real value, especially given it's large size and room for people. There is loads room for a large family or group to spread out and feel private, but plenty of room to get together and enjoy the best kind of living there is!
