Bob seems to be coming out this (finally!) though there's still work to be done. We are fairly certain that he had a stroke. His cognition was initially affected as was his movement. The ER we sent him to said he didn't have a stroke but, to be frank, we simply think they missed it. If it waddles like a duck, it's likely a duck.

The million dollar question is will Bob be gigging soon? The answer is not likely - at least not yet. He absolutely *does* want to and that's a positive development, to be sure. He hasn't always felt that way since this process started so this is really good. He's happiest behind the keys and he's been playing often at home lately. He doesn't like where his chops are but his wife, on the other hand, loves where his chops are and that's likely a more accurate picture of where he is playing-wise.

Thanks so much for your messages - both in email and voicemail. They are much appreciated even though I have been unable to answer them due to time constraints. If you leave messages here, I will communicate them to him. Feel free if you'd like. We all miss working with the great singers that join us so we hope to get back to that sooner than later.
