hey guys,

hows everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoying the warm weather.

Well today's Monday minutes and this week's topic is Puff Eyes

I always have puffy eyes, especially after removing eye make-up, so I use my own little trick to treat them.

Put all eye-creams in the fridge, the coldness of the cream rejuvenates dying cells pumping fluids into that area.
Eye-cream are expensive so I created my own using, a perfume-free sensitive cream from boots own brand and adding drops of cumber oil to cream.
Use cumber slices to soothe eyes for 3-5 minutes after washing your face.

all of these ideas, are what I have used for my own personal use. various results may occur depending on skin types (not everyone may see results).

Pallets Kraze: NYX + New Layout

hey dollz,

hows everyone doing, hope everyone is having a great week so far?

This weekend my i went to see one of my favorite aunt, (who recently sprained her legs) as i love to visit her she kinda like my older sister (which I never had) and plus her husband came back and he's super kool. The a really HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, cute, modern realistic couple I admire their relationship and someday hope to have even to have just a quarter of what they have in my marriage.

....sooo back to the purpose of this blog (i always seem to ramble on lool) but my lovely aunty made a huge purchase of NYX products, unfortunately some of the products didn't match her skin tone so gave them to me :D (grin from ear to ear)

Wednesday's Wisdom

hey dollz,

so today is one of my new weekly blog post, called Wednesday's Wisdom. It's just an uplifiting post, to just encourage and uplift us. But mostly to remind us that we are perfect, in our own ways and beauty is held in the eye of the beholder who created beauty and that ugly is a man-made opinion (theres's no statistics to back it up).

I ran into some old friends (and realized their old for a reason lol a bit harsh but real) and they were just talking on and on about uni. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for them and the fact that they went to uni, and decided to make a better future for themselves. But while talking to them I realized something that really surprised me, they started to look down on me because I didn't go to uni but instead experienced and lived life my way. At first I was embarrassed and upset that I left in such a hurry to get away then started to question my self about who I am and what am I doing with my life, uni, goals, careers etc.

Until it hit me, I ddin't go uni this year because I'm not like everyone else, I don't follow rules (except school rules lool) espically life rules. I have always been the one to do everyting backwards or opposite to 'NORMAL' teenagers (which I totaly disagree with like who is to say what is normal or abnormaly like really come on dude grow up this is 2011). So what I didn' t go uni this year big deal , but i realised that it wasn't my time, I myself don't think I was mentaly and physically ready to go (like come on my my still puts my plaster on for me and I love watching catoon network with my 2yrs brother) when I do go to uni I want to go for ME, to change MY life and make ME happy, if I make my family happy in the process that's a bonus. but LIFE is to short to live for anyone else, and to wake up in 10 years time with a life full of regrets.

So to anyone out their who is still struggling with what you want to do in life remember you can only make of it what you put in.

SO MAKE LIFE!

hey dollz,

so i'm a tad bit late with the valentine's post (lool but it's better late than never right?), I really wanted to show two the look I wore one valentine's day on my date and one is a variation of that depending on your preferences.

I hope everyone had a lovely valentine's day spent with loved one's (not necessarily boyfriends/girlfriends but those who you value and share). Unfortunately I wasn't able to spend with my Ideal Valentine but I spent it with the next important people Ben and Jerry who took me on a lovely date (loool i really meant ice-cream Ben&Jerry). But they did very good job of making me happy and keeping me laughing alongside with my backlog of recorded TV pro grammes and film. lool

well I think I have said enough so I wish you all a belated Happy Valentine's Day with sweetness, love and simple pure Joy. :D

hey dollz.

okay so I know by the time I post this blog post it's going to be tuesday but I had a few issues with my inter net (overused my allowances lool). Anyways today i'm introducing all of you my lovelies to Monday Minutes it's a weekly monday blog that only takes 1 minute to read. I realised that sometimes blog post can be so inconvenient when your looking for something in particular or just want something liht and refreshinmg to reafd that's where Mr. Monday Minute comes in.

Monday's Minutes will only take 1-Minute to read, which will benefit everyone from the beauty addicts and experts to even the fresh ducklings. As is it can be really difficulty (which I found from my own personal experiences). Monday Minutes will contain information from the big issues such as health to beauty tips and tricks.

so theirs always something for everyone! :D

So this weeks is a quick one (since i had a little ramble earlier on lool!)

This weeks is a Nail Treatment

1. Warm a small bowl of milk for 20 secs and put a pair of sock on the radiator

(please take caution when warming milk not to be too hot and)

2. Add oil (I use olive oil/castor oil but any oil you have is fine), dip your hand in solution until cold

(when cool switch hands)

3. Rub hands with hand cream and place in the socks and leave until cool

(leave socks on the radiator for 5-10 minutes)

I repeat this treatment twice to three times a week, I would not recommend to do it more than 3 times a week.

hey dollz,

awwww it feels so good to be back home, on blogger. I have missed you all sooooo badly (lool now i full understanding the meaning of you will only miss it when it's gone). I just got home from a long lovely holiday at my god's sister who I have not seen for a while, and where I just kicked it with here in Kent relieving the stress and tension from exams. I also got to visited my aunty in east London (she's like one of the most dearest and important people in my life so i felt honored to take care of her).

But now i am full relaxed, refreshed and rearing to go.

I don't know if you guys remember but before I left in my last blog I told you guys about some new feature/ addition to blog well, which will be in place when I returned. I wanted to create something that is frequent and is aimed and entertains everyone not just the beauty and fashion addicts or experts but the new ducklings in the pond, which can be soooo hard (this is from my own personal experience).

UPDATE FOR 2011

Hey guys,

I know i know i know I have been the worst blogger in the history of bloggers lool, but i just finished my exam yesterday wooooooooo i'm so excited, but i'm not gonna lie a bit bummed i kinda enjoyed revising these last couple of month i felt both physically and mentally moved,, which I have not felt in a long time but it was good.

Sooooo....I have some good news and bad news, (i'm gna say the bad first cause you should always end your day thankful and happy. :).

Firstly i'm gonna be gone again I know bummer right lool, i won't be blogging for a couple weeks, A MONTH tops (promise), the reason is I'm not quite happy with my blog layout and design (i know I choise but know i don't like it).

Basically i don't feel that the layout or design kinda justfy who I am at all, or even potray my perspective of the world. Sooo im gonna be working on that with my new IT team (super excited :DDDD)

With every broken heart comes medication (meaning on the bright side loool) I have great news, with the new layout comes loads of new ideas, i have decided to make my blog more friendlyn'fun (lool basicaly mor MEEE) i would tell you but that would run the suprise lool. I'm also going to be visiting very close loved one's bestfriend'n'sister and my godsister and defintly bringing som goodies back so watch out for thoose. There's defintetly going to be much more looks and hauls so don't expect anythink less. Wath out for 'WISDOM WORDS WEDNESDAY' okay so i could'nt shut my mouth but i was tooooo excited. It's going to be a weekly post on portivity and encouragement with so much negativity in the world everyone needs and deserves a pick me, and that's what i'm serving to the table hunny or a silver platter.

I'm really sorry for the poor blogging I'm just finding it hard to balance blogging with school work especially with exams coming up and work, BUT I'm going to work at it lool (one of my goals)

i'm sorry for not blogging recently, but I have been in bed rest for the last week strict orders from my mother loool (much more harsh than the doctors).

i guess this is the thanks I get for looking after my baby brother when he was ill (i guess catching a cold from a child IS worse.)

since my mum went to do some errands (cough cough picking up my medication) :D

Before I was struck down with the cold I had a bit of fun in my make-up playground with the colour purple, unfortunately you can't see them properly thanks to the light but it was just some fun.

Hair Therapy

HEY DOLLYZ,

hows everyone's week been? hope you all had a chilled week.

firstly I want to apologise for the low blogging, I just got my hair done on tuesday (which has been a while), so i'm slowly adjusting to the pain. eeeeeeeeeeeeek!

with winter whipping it's way into England bring with it it's big brothers Coldie, Rainy and little boy Foggy (these are what I used to call the weather when I was little sad I know).

I thought it was time to get my hair done, as it's keeps my head warm as well as makes mornings (esp mondays) so much easier :D.

so to relief my head of the pain I did a little retail therapy @ Dorothy Perkins

ever since this summer when they did a massive sale in store on accessories I have completely fell in love with their product. I purchased a couple rings since i'm always losing them (i always forgot where i put them when washing the dishes tut tut!).

this lipglosses is amazing, i only say that about lip-glosses that look, feel, taste and smell KOLORLICIOUS!!!!

HEY DOLLYZ,

today i decided to stay in doors, as it was like the blitz with slicing weathers that almost had me begging for the heatwave back (but i'm not really a fan of summer i prefer spring and winter not soo much autumn).

soo as i lay in bed reading the latest glamour magazine. which by the way are giving away FREE NAILS.INC nail polish you have a choice of 4 colours, i choose Savile Row but i'm think to get one more ?

yh so after some fashion education I decided to paint my nails using L.A. Colors, which I picked up at their westfield store at schoking prices of 99p. I know right SHOCKING!

Nuclear Energy (deep purple) is my favourite colour is dark but edge and girly at the same time, which kinda sums me up lool. x

i'm not swearing PROMISE!

so is to apply and only two coats

i love L.A Colors- color craze nail polish as their are so easy to aplyy without any mess and fussy.

they also last long espically as i'm always on the go and doing housework theirs no need for re-applying

Recessionista ChickHitting The Town Again

hope everyone had a lovely weekend, sorry for the weak blogging, but my phone decided to give up after some intensive A&E treatment the poor fella lasted as long as he could two years is a record (well for me anyways lool). My baby N95 R.I.P, so that's why I have not been able to do any make-up hauls/look. =[

but don't worry I'm working at it, but soon to come! :D

today I went on a little kolorkraze trip, it's such a shame about the ice-cold weather, however I LOVE winter, as it's the only time you can wear some many layers experimenting with colours. yippy!

I'm totally in love with these pieces, the babydoll dress just reminds you of the 50's and 60's with it's petite figure hugging frame. the extra details on the lapel is a bonus it adds that extra class.

the leopard jacket is just glamours, rock it with an LBD for that extra glamour spark or skinnies, sunnies and sky scraper heels for a Kate Moss Model look. The buttons are however a let down the make the jacket look a tad bit pale but with some D.I.Y using gold button they will be top notch.

the shoes are just so adorable especially at that prices, the shoes are good for summer dress or with a skirt and a vest top/shirt. very chic.

i was just catching up on some missed episode, and Peter Kay popped up dancing and skating , had to blink twice, think the world has gone loco.

But no it was actually the new M&S advert, over the last 2 years marks and sparks have been comming back with some hard, wearable clothing items. Espically this autum's boots and jumpers/cardigans.
I remember the time my mum would be like where going to M&S and I will cringe *granny shop*.

hey dollyz,

hope are you all, hope you had a kolorkraze week?

for some weird reason recently I have been super addicted to the whole clown theme (I think it had something to do with halloween lool that makes sense). I love the use of brightly colours on eyes, cheeks and lips (this is the only time in fashion you can get away with all three brightly coloured and look kolorkazelicious). I found some really kool colourful looks, and with christmas parties comming up maybe you can incoperate some of the ideas into my look. hmm......*lightbulb*

I finally managed to go to Westfield Shopping Centre, since it finally opened ( i know embarrassing right lol), but I went with my favourite aunty who's just as make-up crazy as my bestydoll maphi-http://kolorkrazedolly1.blogspot.com/

i visited the INGLOT store, which was the first off my stores-to-hit list. I wanted to see what all the hype was about this brand and why people were naming it MAC's enemy.

let's just say the store was like make-up heaven, with orange,blue,gold,pink,black,green,purple,silver eye-shadow, nail polish, lipstick, lipgloss, foundation, concealer and brushes.

I had to pinch myself several times to check if it was real, and it very much was.

After several hours later of playing in INGLOT's playground (I left with a hand and an arm covered in make-up swatches truly happy =]). you get to pick the colours you want in your pallet which is great. You can mix and match your pallet according to you. which is even better.

here's what I bought;

these colours are great for everyday looks, with your nude,

dark brown & deep berry (extra drama effect)

in this pallet i went for a more darker and adventerous colours

which are great for re-creating that glamourous 20's, 40's,50's look and an edge 60's and 70's look

this an 10 eye-shadow pallet, here I went for very deep shades such as purples and blue.

which are great for that playful-fun-tease 60's look for a night out or a smokey 20's look for everyday.

here i have two settings- left eye-gold, cream and rusty gold eye-shadow {QumeidiePallet} & blue rhinestone

right eye- beige {QumeidiePallet}, denim {barryM} & blue rhinestone.
