I just love capturing moments, especially someone’s first breathes, someone’s first cry, the first time dad see’s his son, the first time mom holds her new baby boy!  These are all once in a lifetime moments that go by so fast, and to capture those moments to treasure for a lifetime is priceless!  One of the reasons I love capturing birth stories!

Here is Hunter’s birth story as told through my eyes.

10 perfect little fingers and 10 perfect little toes, this little girl is a perfect princess!

 Without further ado, meet the new Family & Avery!

I am not sure you can tell from that last picture, Avery is already wrapped around her daddy’s finger and heart, just check out his grin in this next photo!  There may be a few to many precious ones of this next set, I just loved how precious she looked in all these images!
One more as a request for her grandpa!  Dad is in the Air Force, mom used to be, and that is actually how they met, that’s another love story for another day!And since she was born so close to Easter we had to work in a little bunny photo!

Today is Daniel’s Birthday!!  Blitzen wanted to do something extra special for him while he is currently deployed.

This is his story.

I love when clients really get into an idea for their portrait session! Tin & Tim have been planning this surprise announcement for several months! I was so excited to be able to capture these memories for them; also help capture these images to help tell their family all about their sweet surprise!

A Sweet Surprise! | Omaha Maternity and Newborn Photography

I have been looking forward to sharing these photos and story with you all!  I can’t express in words just how amazing this session and experience was!  Capturing someones first’s moments of life is just amazing.  The first breathe, the first time mom see’s him, the first time dad holds him, those moments go by so quickly, but can be captured for a lifetime.

I got a text on Friday Night, February 9th saying Chelsea had gone into early labor just 5 days before her  actual due date.  We then played the waiting game, Damon didn’t seem to be in any rush.   Saturday came and went but not much had changed.  It wasn’t until the next night at about 11:30 did I receive a text that they were headed to the hospital, things had seemed to be picking up.  At 12:38 I received a text saying she was about halfway, which was right about time, I had this weird feeling that I should arrive at the hospital a little earlier than I was expecting too!  Good thing I did because she went from a 6 to giving birth in no time!

Chelsea did amazing, baby was absolutely perfect and Dad did great as well!  This is my vision of Damon’s first few hours!

Chelsea and Matt thank you so much for allowing me into your lives for such a precious and special time, I truly enjoyed being there and capturing these moments for you all!  It was a joy, and something I will never forget!

The birth of Damon | Omaha Birth Photographer

This little princess is absolutely perfect, she was only 6 days old and absolutely beautiful!

 I was able to join in on her newborn session with a few other military spouse photographers, we are working to perfect our newborn posing and I think Sadie was the perfect little model for us!

Sweet Little Sadie | Omaha Newborn Photographer

Last month I was able to meet a fellow military family’s new addition!

Baby Everly is absolutely perfect in every way and has two of the most loving parents!
