A little birdie claims that Akki, as he is fondly known, was recently offered a superhero flick but the actor turned down the role. It seems that the martial artist-turned-actor has no intentions of donning a mask and a cape to fight bad guys like his contemporaries Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan (who played superheroes in 'Krrish' and 'RA.One' respectively).
Akshay was last seen playing the role of a Haryanvi goon in Anthony D'Souza's 'Boss', which was the Bollywood remake of South hit 'Pokkiri Raja'.

Salman Khan's upcoming movie will be called as 'Jai Ho' and not Mental. Jai Ho's first poster will be releasing on October 2, 2013. Directed by Sohail Khan, Jai Ho is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year 2014.

Jai Ho will be a very different film. Unlike the same masala entertainers, Jai Ho will be based on a social cause. Reacting to reports stating that he has claimed that "Dhoom 3" will surpass the business of Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express", Aamir said in a statement:"I am not interested in breaking records. I am an artist, and what gives me a high is to entertain my audience, to give them a good time, and to satisfy them emotionally."

"I want to earn the love of my audience. That is what I am thirsty for. I like to challenge myself and do work that I have not done. I like to surprise my audience.These are the things that I am interested in," said the versatile actor, who will be seen in a negative role in "Dhoom 3".

It is easier to design for Bigg Boss house than Salman Khan’s chalet because there’s absolutely no brief about what the superstar-host wants,” declares Subhajyoti Dutta, who has been designing it for the last four years.

The 3,500 sq feet chalet comprises a living room, gym area, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, relaxation room, garden and a kennel for Salman’s dogs. What draws attention are the huge life-size posters of the superstar on the brick wall and the names of all his hit films written on a black board.

The living area is completely modern with the colour palette being white and red for the sofas. Vibrant colours have been used to complement the white decor. The rooms are designed in such a way that Salman is visible to the outsider from every room.
