Talking about the adaptation of an English film she adds,” Actually, I had seen this film when I was very small. But one thing, I must tell you’ll that our films are canned on a different level when compared to the Hollywood Industry. We need to cater our audiences. “We are Family” has a totally Indian contemporary feel.”

She very modestly says,” I cannot be compared to Julia Roberts at any cost. She is what she is. But yeah! I have enjoyed doing this vivacious, bubbly and fresh character.”

Kareena has obtained sky rising accomplishments professionally and she is happy about it.” I have been blessed with different kind of roles that I have performed in my short span of life. Reminiscing her earlier film she adds,” Refuge has been a great film for me because it presented me in a different avatar. Acting is in my blood and I always cherished not to be presented as a glam doll only. Chameli is another milestone for me. At the tender age of 22, my folks thought that I may not be able to perform the pros’s role. But I performed it exuberantly. Three idiots is another film which is not a heroine oriented film but whatever I did people still remember it and say,” Dhokla kawu che “she laughs aloud.

Kareena’s size zero persona was the talk of the town. She fusses about and says,” Now I have put on a little weight. Does this not look better? I know the size zero media reports were endless. “

Further adding about the media reports she adds,” I do not get bugged with the media. As I feel they are doing their job. The best part is that I do not read the news papers but yes! My well wishers call me up and update me about the write ups.”

Coming to her lover boy Saif she says,” He is really very open minded. He has helped me in going ahead in my profession. He has never stopped me saying that you do not do this role or that role. For that matter of fact many-a- times he is not aware of the fact that I am doing a particular film. I have to update him with all that. Saif has always encouraged me professionally. “

Talking about being content in every relationship she adds,” To have a fulfilling love from every relationship makes me feel nice. Actually, we are a closely knit family and we have been taught the meaning of love and bondings right from our early age. I always care for my mom and my family which is always on the priority list. All relationships should be based on loyalty and trust. Yes! I am also happy to have a partner like Saif who is really a good human being.”

Talking about having visited Saif’s paternal home she adds,” Oh! It is a palatial house. Every important thing for the living has been rightly put up. I love to be with Saif’s mom too. I enjoy going to their place.”

Steering further to the relationship that she shares with Sanjay [Karishma’s hubby] she says,” Actually, I know him from the time I was a kid. He and I share a very lovely relationship he cares for me a lot.”

Whether Karishma’s kids are her favourites and if she has incorporated some of her experiences that she may have had with them to which she quips,” Infact I love them to death. Both her kids her very good looking. Praising the eyes of Karishma’s son [Kiaan] she adds,” He has exotic greenish and bluish eyes. He is already a lady killer. Well! I keep my personal and professional lives separate.

Coming back to Saif she adds,” Yes! I keep telling him that he should work with Raju Hirani once. Saif wants to do some different films. Our cinema has changed a lot. Contemporary norms have been incorporated in our films. Saif’s thinking is very much on the lines of Hollywood films. I enjoy every bit of my life time with him.”

Talking about her nature she comments,” Oh! I am a fun loving person. I have no regrets in life; God has bestowed upon me everything so very generously. I only have the hunger and I crave to have some more time so that I can give it to my family members. Yeah! I stole some time to be with Saif while he was shooting in London I made it up.”

Last but not the least praising Kajol she says,” Oh! She is a lovely person, Full of energy. I am honoured to have worked with her in KKKK and now in We are Family. She would be busy reading her books during breaks while we were shooting WRF, while I and Arjun enjoyed on some great vegetarian food. We are both foodies.”She concludes.

Hello Darling reveals the conditions of three glamorous and intelligent women. These women are the victim of a lecherous boss. This is a heroine oriented film as there is no hero in the film as such. However the story is all about working women. Also what all they have to face in the office has been showcased in a light manner.

Mansi and Savitri (Celina Jaitley,Gul Panag and Easha Koppikhar] share a house. They are employed at a posh designing office in Mumbai. Hardik [Jaaved Jaffrey] plays the boss. He is a play boy, although married to a Gujarati house wife, Purvi. This play boy natured boss always addresses all the females as “Hello Darling.” What all he does to promote the females need to be watched. Asawari Joshi plays the secretary to Hardik. What happens to Hardik one night when he is kidnapped by these girls? And later how he lands in the Nari Sanghatana, a pati sudhar samiti, which is run by Seema Biswas to tame down lecherous husbands forms the crux of the story. Rocky a wannabe Elvis Presley [Chunky Pandey] who plays Celina’s boy friend appears in the film of and on.

However Director Manoj Tiwari has tried to rehash the remake of not one but many films- a tamil film”Magalir Mattum, a film which never released. Randhir Kapoor ‘s film “Ladies Only where he plays the lecherous boss . Undoubtedly the director could not mix and match plots from these films exuberantly, resulting in a messy tale. Comedy in the film does make one laugh. Gul Panag,Seema Biswas and Jaaved Jaffrey have performed up to the mark. They could not help do wonders with a badly rehashed script. Celina and Koppikhar could have toned down at a little lower pitch. Chunky Pandey’s role seemed to be like a worthless bauble. Nothing much to perform. Sunny Deol’s last minute entry is no saving grace for the film.

Music by Pritam reminds one of the yester- year tunes from the number.”Aa Jaane Ja…. Music sounds hummable and soothing enough to the ears.

All and all do not waste time on this week-end watching this boorish flick.

“Yes! I’m due in October. I am very happy, as I am blessed with everything on this earth. I have a very good family support both from my parents and my parent’s in-law, my hubby, and my daughter. And I am very happy about being pregnant the second time. As a woman I feel as though I have attained a wholesome motherhood. Kajols pregnancy mantra,” While being pregnant a female needs to follow these precautionary measures: fast five ,” one should remain calm, you need not take any stress, be positive, be happy, and love yourself more, when tired get into your bedroom and take a nap.”

Being from the filmy arena Kajol has unhesitatingly declared about her marriage and her pregnancy.” Why should I hide anything?  Infact it is a matter of pride for me to have such a lovely daughter and yet another on the way.[ whatever it may be.I’ll feel blessed.] Being married also was a privilege for me. Yeah! While doing a film I did not want to show my pregnancy because that would go against the character. “

Playing the second fiddle after having tasted the rights of a first wife in “We are Family” what is her take in real life? ” Hope no one has to go through the pangs of having a souten. But if it happens then one needs to adjust with it on the basis of daily happenings and react accordingly. Everyone cannot identify with Maya. No one can be perfect. For me in real, I do not like to react to hypothetical situation.

Refreshing her childhood memories she adds,”.  But at times I feel as though history repeats. When my mom would ask me not to do something I would always give her a strong glare. And now when I tell my daughter not to do something and she insists on doing it , then I realize how difficult it is to be a mother. To each, motherhood is different. Motherhood is a fulfilling feeling, also an awesome feeling indeed!”

She further adds,” Yes! Some working mother’s like to look forward to bank on the advice from certain authorities while the others may love to handle the situation on their own.  ”

Talking about changes in Ajay after marriage she says,” Yes! Earlier Ajay was not so very responsible. But over the years he has changed a lot. He is very particular about what he wants. He is very committed and he owes credit to himself for his growth. He will try his utmost to fulfil all his duties towards his parents, sisters and the rest of the family. Also he is a loving husband and a loving dad to Nysa.”

Kajol nevertheless agrees that she has mellowed down over the years,” I do find a lot of change in me. If I say I am not matured as yet, then there could be something drastically wrong with me. I have changed a lot. Look no one is perfect but we need to try and act according to the situation so that things can be carried out smoothly. In one word it is ‘adjustment.’

Keeping her energy levels high even at this juncture of her life she jokingly adds,” I do one film at a time. Actually, I love to read mills and boons and lay back and sham around whenever I get time. You need to love yourself to be loved by others.

Kajol was quick to share with us the changes in Bebo over the years,” Yeah! In KGKG Kareena was young, a little nervous. As everyone needs to be experienced, so with her experience she has definitely added a feather to her cap.”

Last but not the least working with Director Sidharth Malhotra she expresses,” Although one fears until he or she knows the capacity and tenacity of direction capability of a new director but by the time a few scenes are canned you definitely judge it. Sidharth is fairly a good director being a first timer. He has directed “We are family’ with great zeal. All of us enjoyed a lot on the sets.” She concludes.

The makers of the film wanted to keep their audience engrossed with surprise and while filming only it was decided that Divya’s character will not be exposed much.

HELLO DARLING is a film about three young, beautiful, smart girls (Gul Panaag, Eesha Koppikhar Narang and Celina Jaitley) who work in a fashion design company in Mumbai. Each are targets of their lusty boss (Javed Jaffery) who eventually manages to trap them all a sticky situation in which all three are made to dance to his tunes. They must find ways to wriggle out of his control and unite to cook up their own scheme to be free of him and his notorious intentions once and for all.

Who outsmarts whom is the basis of this fun filled hilarious comedy and that’s where Divya’s character comes in to limelight. Divya plays the role of ‘Purvi bhain’ in the movie.

This is the first time when Divya will be seen in a ‘Gujju’ avatar. So it would be prefect to suggest here that the actress is on a roll.

About Dhanau Road: Harper Collins has published Anosh Irani’s (nephew of Boman Irani) DAHANU ROAD in India. Dahanu Road is a love story between a young Irani man and a local woman who works as a labourer on his chickoo farm in the town of Dahanu. Talking about Sonakshi who debuts with this film. And updating- Why Sonakshi? He quips, “I am acquainted to the family for very long. She belongs to the bollywood industry. Even if she did not belong to the Industry, I would have opted for her as she suits the character. And she has done a good job. She was not at all nervous.

Well! Why the change in the production house from Sohail Khan to Arbaaz Khan? Actually this story was brought to me by Arbaaz. Some one else was planning to produce this film but a little later when Arbaaz came to me, I read the story and liked it. So I thought of producing the film.” The film is larger than life. So when I entered the budget increased. well! All in the family the comfort zone essentially becomes great. We had fights over creative differences but it was sorted out. ”

Coming to the budget Salman adds,” Actually with my entry, the budget increased. As the film is larger than life and also with action and drama involved, in it , we had to get a good level of Music. Essentially, film making involves a lot of money. Also we look forward to improve every bit in making for which we need finances. But after the excellent outcome there is no looking back but rejoicing.”

So what pay pack will Salman get towards the acting in the film? Nothing, Instead mera sab paisa gharch ho gaya haen![ All the money has been spent instead]smiles.

Salman is working with new directors and home production special reasons for not working with directors from the industry off late? Yeah! Those directors fear me. They fear that I may come late and not complete their film on time. Also I will try to push things what I feel is great and blah …blah…But let me tell you one thing, all the films from my production house is being completed within a year or two. There is no delay in the release. Film making needs thorough involvement. It is no kid’s job after all.

Further comparing the earlier times and now what difference does he find in cinema.” Production value has changed. Sensible people have taken over the industry. It is good to be progressive. The contribution varies from actor to actor. With the rise in multiplex budget sensibility has also gone to a higher level. With the introduction of ufo the release though becomes easy. Our audiences have also changed over the years.

Talking about survival of the fittest, how does he manage?”Yes! I do agree there is a lot of cut throat competition in the film industry. Why forget bitching…he smiles. I must confess that hard work, talent destiny, luck all these things play an important part in our survival as actors. I would only say we should be away from any wrong doings and wrong thinking. We need to be in competition but without any prejudice.

Talking about relationship he adds,” Family support is very important.  Ya! at times relationship goes sour. While at one time we may be friendly to a person but at another time the relationship may change. All happens given a particular situation. This is life. This happens in everyone’s normal life. We are all normal beings. At all levels I always want that the films of my peers should do well. All of us are here to survive. I only detest bitching and I personally feel bitching should not be supported at any cost.

‘Lafangey Parindey’ (Lafange Parinde) from Yash Raj’s Banner a film in Mumbaiya Coloquial Bhasha. A love story, which shapes up slowly and gradually. Neil Nitin Mukesh [One Shot Nandu,] a fighter who punches his opponent in the ring blindfolded. Deepika Padukone [ Pinky Palkar,] a dancer who turns blind. Now, how she turns sightless is the million dollar question? Nonetheless, she is ambitious to make it big on the dancing floors. Pinky’s love for Nandu is true. However Nandu is a kind hearted guy but unable to declare his love for Pinky . Finally Pinky and Nandu make it big on the “Got Talent Hunt” dancing reality show. Nandu is keen to take over the job of K.K.Menon, K.K Menon is working for a gangster. He is the dada of the Tilakwadi. Nandu who is always the winner in the boxing ring had to lose the last round, as he chooses Pinky over the boxing ring.. A good amalgamation of the reality show.

Direction by Pradeep Sarkar is a refreshing change for Yash Raj Films. The accident of Pinky after which she turns blind, the case is shut down abruptly. Finally, the Police Inspector in-charge of the case tries to solve it on personal level. The case looses importance. Love story turning too hot and the other angle losing importance loosen the intricacies of the story and hence director’s cut suffers a lot. Before the intermission hopes from the “Parneeta” director Pradeep Sarkar is quite high. But with closing down of the parallel story line” the accident of Pinky.” Looks, like the director too looses the strings of the tale.

Neil is the saviour for YRF. He seems to be the perfect solo hero, for the YRF.Neil’s exuberant performances certainly deserve a pat on his back. Hopefully, he could be the perfect replacement of Shahrukh Khan. Deepika Padukone has done a wonderful job. The rest of the cast and credits too performed well.

Dialogues match the Chawl dwellers, very appropriate to the situation. No prizes for guessing that the Censor Board has become liberal with the big production houses as all the cursing words used by the characters have gone uncut.

The peppy and foot tapping number “pakad pakad …  will be on the tip of the tongue of the audiences after they come out of the theatres. Music is soothing to the ears.

The fast paced editing and brilliant cinematography both go hand in hand. A good camera work indeed.

‘Lafangey Parindey’ could prove a breather for YRF after giving flops in a row, in the recent past.

With Neil and Deepika the cine-goers will surely watch the film. This film could change the fate of YRF. at the box office.
