Well it’s finally confirmed. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will tie the knot this November. The wedding which is scheduled for the 22nd of this month will surprisingly be devoid of the usual Bollywood friends and glitter. This comes as Shilpa and Raj arrived at a joint decision to keep the affair short and sweet.

However, two days after the actual wedding reception, Shilpa will be hosting another party for her colleagues from the industry, while the marriage itself is to be conducted at her business partner Kiran Bawa’s farmhouse in Khandala. The venue of her wedding reception however, is still being kept under wraps.

Shilpa’s sister who missed the engagement ceremony while being locked away in the Bigg Boss house apparently might also miss the wedding as the show isn’t scheduled to end till the date. The only option left is that she be evicted from the Bigg Boss house in time to make it for her sister’s wedding.

The gorgeous, sexy and petite Bosky Sheth is all set to star in her debut international film titled “The Three Kings”. The film is loosely based on the life of Parveen Babi and also has characters resembling noted film personality Mahesh Bhatt and others like Kabir Bedi and Bollywood stalwart Amitabh Bachchan who were important characters in the late Babi’s life.

Speaking to the media at a press interaction in Mumbai, the 19-year-old Bosky who originally hails from Ahmedabad said that she was “simply thrilled”.

When asked as to how it all happened, Bosky said, “I have been modelling for the last two years now and it was more or less a hobby. I am currently finishing my graduation in Commerce from a college in Mumbai. I had circulated my photos to all production houses and modelling agencies in Mumbai. In the first week of October, I got a call from Spectra Multimedia Films India – who represent White Lilac Films – who asked me to drop in for a screen and look test. I went and gave the look test and sort of forgot about it. To my utter surprise and disbelief, they called me a week later and asked me if I would like to do the role. I was simply stunned. Of course, I said yes. Who wouldn’t want such a challenging role?”

Bosky who has been modelling for the last two years has done several print and television commercials and also features in a couple of music videos. But this is her first big film project.

The script for The Three Kings has been penned by film journalist Flynn Remedios, who spent over three years researching the project. It will hit the floors end-November and is directed by Hollywood director Reynold Baines. The film is expected to be completed by end 2010 and will release in mid 2011.

While Mahesh Bhatt has welcomed the film, Amitabh Bachchan in an interview to news agency PTI said, he wouldn’t be affected. According to the PTI report, even as a new film threatens to rake up dirt about the alleged Parveen Babi-Amitabh Bachchan relationship, the superstar comes clear of the old accusations saying that such controversies have stopped affecting him.

The film 'Three Kings' by Hollywood director Reynold Baines reportedly revolves around the controversial actress and the three men in her life, director Mahesh Bhatt, actor Kabir Bedi and Bachchan, but the 'Shehen shah' of Bollywood is far from perturbed, PTI reported.

"I don't know where they are getting all this rubbish from because it's all untrue. But what can you do, it is another artiste's perception of who I am," Bachchan told PTI in an exclusive interview.

Apart from wife Jaya, Bachchan made the maximum films with Babi, including cult classics like 'Don' and 'Amar Akbar Anthony'.

Here’s what veteran director Mahesh Bhatt said to DNA, “"I've no imagined greatness to think that a film will misrepresent me. A creative person is free to interpret real-life incidents. I don't feel I will drag them to court even if they name me in the film. A real life story needs to be treated with a pinch of salt."

Mumbai, Oct 31 (IANS) Shilpa Shetty is tying the knot with fiance Raj Kundra in the last week of November and there’s a chance that her sister Shamita, who is in the “Bigg Boss” house, may not be able to attend the ceremony.

“Shamita has not been told anything about Shilpa’s engagement or the marriage in the last week of November. As far Shamita knows, the marriage was supposed to happen in December after the show was over,” a source close to the Colors channel producing the show told IANS.

The source said there seems to be no provision to get a contestant out of a game show for a wedding.

Shilpa, who hosted the second season of “Bigg Boss”, has approached the channel to evict her sister in time for the wedding and a meeting between the two parties is on the cards this weekend. But the channel bosses are at a loss as to how the rules can be bent to get Shamita out of the “Bigg Boss” house.

“There’s a provision for a housemate to be brought out in a case of an extreme emergency. It happened with Jade Goody last year. But does a sister’s unscheduled wedding qualify as a family crisis? We’re now wondering if the same rule as Jade can be applied to Shamita’s case,” said the source.

The channel is consulting “Big Brother” on which “Bigg Boss” is modelled for the rules.

“After meeting Shilpa this weekend, we’ll work out a strategy on Shamita’s eviction,” said the source.

According to plans, if rules apply, Shamita’s eviction will be done live.

“If an unexpected turn of events helps us boost our TRPs, we’re certainly not shy of putting it on camera. We did with Jade Goody. We’ll do it with Shamita.”

The pop philosopher of the show Amitabh Bachchan is expected to do the needful. He will be breaking the news of Shilpa’s engagement and impending marriage to Shamita.

“The rest is up to Shamita. Once we’re sure she can be evicted whether she decides to come out or stay in the House is entirely her decision,” said the source.

Just when things start looking bleak for Sherlyn in the Bigg Boss House, somehow she ends up being saved by some miracle. Sherlyn has always found herself being nominated for eviction by all the other housemates. So this week is no different . Sherlyn is yet again nominated for not interacting much with the housemates and sticking to doing her promised sexy bai act and focusing on menial jobs. Now that the other favourite nominee, Kamal is already out, the next is Vindu, the happy go lucky, loud man who is a friend to all and foe to none. He finds himself in the bottom rung thanks to his two - faced nature . He is accused of siding with Kamal while he was in the house and promptly turning against him the moment he was out. His dal badlu nature brought upon this nomination.

Although his name is not in the eviction for this week, the person with the maximum number of votes is Ismail Darbar. He only missed by a vote to be in the bottom rung along with Vindu & Sherlyn. While the nominations make up for some amount of gossip and speculation, the other thing that causes much laughter is the punishment handed out to Shamita by Bigg Boss. It is mandatory for everyone in the house to speak in Hindi. However, Shamita who was punished for speaking in English even earlier is caught once again by Bigg Boss and is given a strict

punishment. Bigg boss announces that Rohit will not speak to any housemate and that he will have to explain Shamita in sigh language what he wants to communicate ; while it will be Shamitas job to interpret it in Hindi to the housemates. However, if Shamita fails again, she faces a term in the jail! While all fun and games are on, Bigg Boss also announces the task for the week which is called Happy to help and it entails making gift boxes for orphaned children. The task basically requires five people per team and they are each given a pink jumpsuit, a bowtie, gloves and eye glasses. A converyer belt is set up in the Bigg Boss House to provide them with the material for the gift boxes. Everytime music starts playing, the housemates have to drop everything , don their Happy to help suits and get into the assembly line to pack the chocolates and goodies coming through the conveyer belt.

The trick is to make as many hampers as possible and each hamper made will earn them ten points which will help them in their weekly budget.

With so much happening in the Bigg Boss House, we wonder what the week will look like. It is only a matter of time when we will get to witness housemates crumbling under the pressure of being civil with each other while at the same time trying to oust each other. Will Vindus nomination turn him into another Kamal Or will Sherlyn take leave of her cool composture that she has been holding on to And what about Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar Roraring passions turned into blazing barbs betweent his couple. Will thier marriage be able to survive this test by fire Knowing how things turned out to be last week, all we can say is, when in Bigg Bosss House, expect the unexpected!

Katrina Kaif, who has two releases in November, has made her preference clear. While she is still to commit dates for the promotion of De Dana Dan in which she stars opposite Akshay Kumar, she is going out on a limb to promote her other November release Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani . According to sources, Katrina is quite kicked about the the Raj Kumar Santoshi film.
For the last three days, Katrina has been actively doing interviews in Mumbai and Kolkata and is even scheduled to fly to New Delhi, where she will do as many as five events in one day to for the promotion of Ajab Prem... Naturally, there is a feeling that she is being more partial to her film opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The actress and Ranbir are even expected to walk the ramp at the Fashion Week in Delhi on October 28 as part of the films promotion .
It is felt that since she is the solo heroine in Ajab Prem, Katrina is gung ho about this film, where as in De Dana Dan she has a much smaller role as the romantic interest of Akshay Kumar. Also, not helping matters much is that in DDD she also shares screen space with 24 other artistes including heroines Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia. Sources say that she has been already approached by the distribution team of DDD asking her to allot definite dates for the promotion activity .
Katrina is not amused with allegations that she prefers one movie of hers over the other and says, "There is a gap of 20 days between the release of both the films. And of course I agree that my next nine days will go in actively promoting Ajab Prembecause its releasing in the first week of November whereas De Dana Dan will release in the last week of November."
Kat explains that as far as her work goes, she will never compromise . "I dont know where this question of my being partial to one film over the other is coming from," she says.
She says that the only reason why she has not allotted dates for the promotion of De Dana Dan is because she is waiting for Akshay to return from Baramati before she joins the publicity campaign. "Besides De Dana Dan has an ensemble cast. I will promote the film with the rest of them. In the case of Ajab Prem, Ranbir has been shooting in Bhopal till October 27 and so I have had to go and do my own bit for the film. It may therefore appear like Im being partial, but thats incorrect," she adds.
Katrina says, "I did Blue and De Dana Dan because Akshay asked me to. He is someone who stood by me through the initial phase of my struggle and I have therefore done these films at his request . When someone like Akki asks me for something, I would do it with my eyes closed because it is important to me.

Amitabh Bachchan to star in next Hera Pheri?

Mumbai: Everyone’s eagerly waiting for the third instalment of the super successful ‘Hera Pheri’, but do you know why it’s called ‘Hera Pheri 4’ and not ‘Hera Pheri 3’? Well, buzz has it that the film’s third part will also include Amitabh Bachchan besides the deadly trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty and hence the name.

According to reports, Amitabh will have an equally important role in the flick to be directed by Anees Bazmee.

“After the success of the sequels, they decided to add some more masala to the film. Director Anees Bazmee has scripted a very strong character which is the fourth character and of has a lot of importance to the story. This third sequel will have more twists and turns and one had to play more with the characters. Mr Bachchan is a wonderful actor and it was very long since one saw him doing a comic role. He will essay the role very beautifully”, says a source.

Director Anees Bazmee confirms that Big B is being considered for the film. He says, “We are still in the scripting stage. The script is being written keeping Amitabh Bachchan in mind. I still have to narrate the script to him. We both are keen on working with each other. Things are yet to be finalised.”

New Delhi, Oct 25 (IANS) The grand finale of children’s singing reality show “Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Liile Champ” finally came to finish with Hemant Brijwasi emerging as the winner of the show Saturday night.
Brijwasi received 1,535,380 votes in the competition which saw many others participating in it.

The event that was held live from Andheri Sports Complex Mumbai was hosted by the famous playback singer Shaan and saw Shreyasi Bhattacharjee battle it out with two boys- Yatharth Ratnum and Hemant Brijwasi.

A unit source revealed, “Ranbir has donned eight different looks in the film. He impersonates as the pathanwala, halwaiwala, a corporate officer etc. He has even donned the Charlie Chaplin look in the film.”

Shyamli has styled Ranbir’s costume and look in Ajab Prem. “When Shyamli met Santoshi, he clearly told her that he wanted her to make Ranbir’s character appear very real. Well guess what? If our sources from Colours are to be believed,
Parveen Babi aka firangi-Indian phataka Shikha Puri will make an
appearance in Bigg Boss. With Kamaal gussa Khan's ouster the action
seems to have withered away.

Apparently Bigg Boss had a tough time taking the decision to throw out
KRK as his nautanki was a source of TRPs for the channel, though the
other inmates wouldn't of course agree with Bigg Boss of this. When
they all threatened to walk out Bigg Boss had no choice but to throw
out KRK. We also heard that KRK may be kept in a secret Kamra like
Raja Chaudhary was in Bigg Boss 2.

Sherlyn Chopra must thank KRK for saving her from an almost certain
ouster were it left to the viewers to decide.

Anyway, a little birdie also told us that KRK was all praises for
Claudia Ciesla whom he wants as his leading lady in Deshdrohi II. He
also called all the other participants ch**s and ass**les in his first
interview to journalist Flynn Remedios after being thrown out of the
Bigg Boss
House. Coincidently Flynn Remedios is also Claudia Ciesla's
spokesperson and Manager and was also responsible for getting her into
Bigg Boss and for all the PR hype around her.

Anyway back to Parveen Babi oops Shikha Puri will go under the knife
five times to look like Parveen Babi for the film. She will have a
bust, butt, hips and tummy surgery - not to forget a facial
transformation to look exactly like Parveen Babi. The producers of the
film The Three Kings will spend close to Rs 30 lakh on these surgeries
which will be done at a private 5 star hospital in suburban Mumbai.
Shikha Puri has already undegone a tummy transformation it is learnt.

With Mahesh Bhatt saab giving his subtle consent for the film, it is
expected to hit the floors mid December. Script writer Flynn Remedios
(yes Flynn Remedios has penned the script for the film) says he
researched the subject for three years before approaching Hollywood
director Reynold Baines with the project. He however declined to
comment on Shikha Puri's surgeries, but said he would Mahesh Bhatt to
consent to introduce the story of the film which is basically a work
of fiction but is inspired by Parveen Babi's love life.

For the first time in the history of reality television, a participant has been thrown out for violent behaviour.It has been confirmed that the producers of Bigg Boss took the decision after all the participants threatened to walk out of the house if actor-director Kamal R Khan of Deshdrohi fame was not thrown out.

Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK, who has been courting controversy ever since he entered the Bigg Boss house earlier this month,is the first celebrity to be prematurely ousted from the Bigg Boss house because of his rude and violent behavior.

A source said, "Khan has been misbehaving with all the participants. What's appeared on television is only about one-third of his bad behaviour. The last straw was when he threw a bottle at a participant. What began as a verbal spat between Khan and Rohit Verma took an ugly turn when Khan threw a bottle of water at Rohit. Rohit ducked, but Shamita Shetty wasn't as lucky-the bottle hit her hand. Khan also got into a fist fight with Raju Srivastav."

In the original version of the show, Big Brother, in Australia, two participants were temporarily removed for allegedly sexually assaulting another participant in 2006. In 2007, UK Big Brother participant Jade Goody was thrown out for racist remarks against Shilpa Shetty.

While the previous two seasons of the show had their share of fights between participants with Ravi Kishan and Rakhi Sawant constantly bickering during the first season and Raja Chowdhary and Sambhavana Seth arguing in the second season, Kamaal’s fit of rage was far too much to tolerate.
