Pakistani actress Veena Malik has almost certainly roiled the establishment back home posing nude on the latest issue of FHM magazine -- with a tattoo on her arm reading ISI.

The ISI (Inter Service Intelligence) is the Pakistani spy agency that is considered a law into itself and which India believes was behind the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai.

Now, we don't know how the Pakistani government is going to react to Veena's bold stance but we can be sure to see some action in the next few days.

In this issue of FHM, Veena talks about her ex-boyfriend, Pakistan cricketer Mohammed Asif, who she claimed was a match-fixer.

Salman Khan To Don Drag In 'Kanchana' Remake?

After playing some super macho roles in his previous releases, Salman Khan now wants to surprise his fans by playing a cross dresser.

It is no secret now, that the combination of Eid and South remakes is working wonders for the Dabangg Khan and sources reveal that his brother Sohail Khan now intends to buy the remake rights of Telugu hit Kanchana.

Kanchana is a 2011 Tamil Horror comedy film directed, written and produced by Raghava Lawrence (also credited as Lawrence Raghavendra). And if the deal gets sealed, Salman would be seen portraying the role of a transvestite in the film.

Sources say that Raghavendra is asking for a whopping Rs. 4 crore for selling the remake rights and although Salman is eager to do the film, his brother is apprehensive about paying such a huge amount to Lawrence.

After making the nation go crazy with 'Sheila Ki Jawaani' and recently grooving to the title track Bodyguard, news is that she will be seen doing an item number yet again; this time with Sanjay Dutt, who plays the bad man Kancha Cheena in Agneepath.

This will be the first time Katrina and Sanjay will be sharing screen space. Katrina is a fantastic dancer and Dutt being a non-dancer has decided to take two weeks off to rehearse his steps. He will also shave his head off for the third time for Agneepath.

The song is composed by National Award winning music directors Ajay and Atul Gogavale, who had composed the music of Singham.

Mausam postponed to September 23

All the speculations regarding Mausam's release getting delayed were put to rest by Shahid
Kapoor today at a press conference held in Mumbai. The much awaited Shahid-Sonam starrer which was scheduled to release this week on September 16 has been pushed by a week to September 23.

Shahid who plays the lead in Mausam said, "The release date has been shifted to September 23. We needed a NOC from IAF and Censor Certificate, we got a 'U' certificate and then the board wanted to see the film once again. This consumed a lot of time delaying the release date. We have made the required changes in the particular 30 seconds scene". The actor further added, "It was very important to announce this. Our team believes in our film and we feel that it is as authentic as it could be, we want to bring the best for our audiences."

Shahid Kapoor also added, "I have seen the film yesterday and am really happy with it, I am excited and eagerly awaiting its release. Now we will have more time to promote the film and since there are no major releases in the next two weeks, Mausam will not face any problems."

Mausam was facing some problem in obtaining the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Indian Air Force. The makers of Mausam had received a conditional NOC from the IAF. A special screening for the top IAF officers and heads was arranged in Delhi today. The IAF requested for a minor correction in a particular aerial action sequence. The scene in question is only 30 seconds long and needed computer graphic changes.

Speaking on this director Pankaj Kapur said, "IAF has been amazingly supportive, they have co-operated with us since the past 1 year. The IAF didn't ask us to remove anything, they only asked for minor changes, these were computer graphic changes to be made in an action sequence in the film which we have incorporated. It is our duty to make sure that all the representation is done authentically and in accordance with IAF. I thank them, they have been very supportive. Since the scene is a computer graphic scene it will take some time to make the changes. As our overseas prints would not be ready in time we decided to shift the release date by a week."

On being asked if the changes in the fight sequence indicates the alteration of content in anyway, Pankaj was quick to respond as he mentioned, "The content of the film in terms of the fight sequence has not changed, the story telling is the same, only tiny details are slightly altered as per the IAF's requirements".

Sonam Kapoor, who plays the lead opposite Shahid stated, "We all have worked hard and I think we can promote it more for a week. Mausam will definitely be enjoyed by all."

The Censor Board for Film Certification (CBFC) which had earlier cleared the film and given it a U certificate also wanted to review the film once again. Following which the film received a 'U' certificate last night.

The premiere of Mausam which was supposed to take place at the Toronto International Film Festival today also got cancelled. Ram Mirchandani from Eros told the media that they will now be having two premieres for Mausam, one in London and the other in Mumbai.

"According to me Salman is ahead of me. In the manner in which his film ‘Bodyguard’ has got an opening, it has broken all records and today according to me, if there is anyone who is the number one box office star, then that is Salman,” said Aamir.

“He has proved with this film that he is ahead of all of us. I am very happy that his film is doing well. My good wishes are with him,” Aamir told reporters here at the music launch of the film “Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster”,” he added.

“Few days back I even had a chat with him on phone because he is in America. I’m glad that his health is also much better now. Infact I was the one who gave him the good news of the massive opening box collections of ‘Bodyguard’,” said Amir.

“I had texted his sister Alvira and I had told her that when Salman comes out of his surgery then show him my text first. I wanted to be the first one to give him this great news,” he added.

When asked from the 46-year-old actor that since he shares such a great camaraderie with Salman, would he like to work with him again in a film, Aamir responded with a yes.

“I would love to work with Salman. We have a great tuning so if we work together, it will be great fun. Maid of Ravi Kissen’s house jumped to her death

A maid working at Bhojpuri star Ravi Kissen's residence in Goregaon committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor flat on Friday evening. The actor was in Bihar to promote a film when the incident took place, but his wife and children were home, in Garden Estate.

The Bangur Nagar police said that depression might have driven the 20-year-old maid, Ruby Sahani, to end her life. They have taken down statements of Kissen's family.
Ruby, who hails from Mathura, started working for the family about 60 days back. At 6.45 pm on Friday, she locked herself in one of the bathrooms of the flat, which is in the building's B-Wing, and jumped from its window. One of the guards informed the Kissens.
"The family told us that she had been looking depressed for many days. Ten days ago, she left the house without informing anyone, and returned only two days back," said senior inspector Ramesh Kadam. On her return, she told the Kissens that she visited a relative in Juhu.
Cops have sent her body for a post-mortem to find out if she was under the influence of any substance. "We are waiting for her parents to come from Mathura. We will know the reason behind her depression only after talking to them," Kadam said.

"I just learnt about it from my wife; it's very unfortunate. I believe she locked herself in the bathroom," Actor said.
Kissen said that Ruby was referred to the family by a spot boy, Sagar. "She had been working at our flat for the past one and half months. I am worried about my wife and kids, and I want to reach Mumbai as soon as possible," he said.
The police are trying to find out if the 20-yearold domestic help's depression was the result of a failed relationship. "We are examining all possibilities," a police officer said.

Salman Khan the new king of Bollywood: Experts

His biggest fans admit he isn't the greatest actor and say his films aren't really quality cinema. But Salman Khan is unstoppable, spinning box-office magic from Chandigarh to Chennai and Bhopal to Ballia, with his Bodyguard confounding critics and being declared a hit on day one of its release.

The lukewarm reviews and the thumping success of the Salman-Kareena Kapoor film across single theatres in India's hinterland and multiplexes in metro malls could be perplexing for some. But not for his fans queuing up to get entertained as only Salman it seems can; so what if the film isn't top-notch?

If his 2009 release Wanted revived single screen theatres, his 2010 release Dabangg was the top grosser of the year. This year his first release Ready did decent business at the ticket window but Bodyguard, released this Eid, is breaking records, beating the opening day collections of Dabangg and 3 Idiots.

Bodyguard, the remake of a Malayalam film, has broken Dabangg opening day record by a huge margin of about Rs.7.5 crore and the second day collections at Rs.18 crore is bigger than any film's Sunday collection.

The film has been co-produced by Reliance Entertainment and Atul Agnihotri, Salman's brother-in-law. And distributors can't stop celebrating.

"The film is going 100 per cent occupancy in Uttar Pradesh. Single screens are also going houseful. Both distributors and exhibitors are likely to rake in the moolah. Although the reviews have been not very good, the film will cross the Rs.100- crore mark," Joginder Mahajan, a Delhi-based distributor, told IANS.

T.N. Kapoor of Bharti Film Distributors in Indore said: "The response has been fantastic. The occupancy is not going less than 90-95 percent. The film is likely to be the highest earner in Madhya Pradesh. We also manage Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and the response has been very good there too."

"The film is not as good as Dabangg, but it is still doing fantastic business in small cities. While Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are popular in metro cities, Salman is more popular among the masses in the interiors; hence the excitement is more.

"On the opening day, the film had already crossed over Rs 20 crore, which is much more than Dabangg. It is likely to do much more business."

Bihar-based distributor Ranjan Sinha said: "Any film in Bihar normally opens in 113-115 centres and Bodyguard is the first one to open in 150 centres. If we compile numbers, the film has earned over Rs.1 crore in Bihar itself."

The star, known to be close to his family, has helped his family cash in on his success. Brother Arbaaz hit the gold mine when he produced Dabangg and now brother-in-law Atul is raking it in with Bodyguard.

"We were expecting a good opening, but the number has gone beyond our prediction," said Atul. "Even in Cochin where people have seen both its Tamil and Malayalam versions, the film is doing extremely well."

Sanjeev Lamba, CEO, Reliance Entertainment, said expectations from a Salman film at Eid are sky high. "We expect that the film will continue to create new milestones at the box office. For Reliance Entertainment 'Bodyguard' caps an extremely successful summer."

However, the star is himself missing the action as he is sitting miles away in a hospital in Pittsburgh and recuperating after a surgery to fix his nerve problem.

Film critic Khalid Mohammad feels the news of his health trouble, which came five days before the release of Bodyguard, has worked in favour of Salman.

"Salman Khan has a good fan following and his presence in itself is charismatic. There's also a sympathy wave riding on the actor, who is being treated for a medical condition," he said.

"He has this glamorous presence and poster boy image; as a result he is getting such roles even at the age of 45. Moreover, his time is also good; so whatever he does works well for him," Khalid said.

Salman is the reigning Khan of the moment, the star who it seems is bigger than any film. How long will the magic last, cine goers wonder.
