‘KICK’, first look….

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Kick’, is all set to be shot in South Korea at places like as Jeju Island, Gyeongbogung Palace, Yongduam Rock, Hallasan Mountain, Hyeopjae Beach and Soingook Miniature theme park. Initially, the flick was planned to be filmed in Japan. But following the recent earthquake devastation, the film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala, changed his mind.

“We were to shoot in Japan but because of the earthquake and subsequent nuclear dangers we decided to shoot for Kick in Korea instead which has some exotic virgin locales,” Sajid said.

“I am disappointed we can’t shoot in Japan as we wanted to shoot a major action sequence in Tokyo Square. However the South Korean tourism board has been very kind to us”, he added

The 2009 super hit Telugu romantic drama remake is directed by AR Murugadas of “Ghajini” fameKick. The story is of a man who loves challenges in life and does things to get kick out of them

April 30 is the day when these two lovebirds will take marital vows amidst family and friends. The marriage is reportedly in the beautiful hill city of Ooty where Kalki’s mother stays. The maverick director of Dev D confirms the marriage to a tabloid, and clears that the marriage will be devoid of any pomp and show and would be a very simple ceremony. As both Kalki and Anurag are very private persons they don’t want media to be part of their wedding ceremony. The couple will wed in South Indian style, and as per reports, Kalki will wear a Kanjivaram saree and Anurag – a dhoti.

This is Anurag’s second marriage. His first wife was film editor Aarti Bajaj, with whom he has a daughter named Aaliya.

Kalki and Anurag’s love story started from the sets of Dev D, and since then the two are like inseparables. They have been living together for last two years, and have even bought a new house.

Currently, the actor is working on Mausam and once he is done wrapping up this flick, Shahid will feature in another love story, directed by Kunal Kohli.
The leading lady for the film is not yet finalized.
Kunal Kohli announced the project over his Twitter account on Saturday, November 27.
“Shahid Kapur and me working together in my next film. Will hopefully sign the heroine in the next few days. Will keep you posted ,” he tweeted.
News has it that, the music for the upcoming flick will be given by Pritamand Prasoon Joshi will write the lyrics.
Production for the film will start in April 2011.

The last few days has been hectic for Salman Khan. The actor has heard enough of buzz about his personal life. Recently, during an interview with one of the famous tabloid, Salman was literally annoyed with the media who cooked up stories about his break-up with Katrina Kaif.

During the interview, Salman said, “I am single – are being reported out of context. I have never claimed to be single or otherwise. This whole thing began when a journalist kept asking me about my relationship with Katrina (Kaif).

Finally, I said ‘what do you want to hear? I am single?’ The channel only aired the latter part. The equation that I share with Katrina is nobody’s business. We never told anybody that we are together nor we would talk about our not being together.”

Housefull narrates the story of Aarush (Akshay Kumar), the world's unluckiest man. Being jinxed, he believes his bad luck can vanish if he finds true love. In this quest for true love, he gets married to the daughter (Jiah Khan) of a wealthy businessman Kishore Samtani (Randhir Kapoor). But there's a twist in the tale.
Enter Sandy (Deepika Padukone), who falls in love with Aarush. But complications follow thereafter as Sandy's brother, Major Krishna Rao (Arjun Rampal) and Hetal's (Lara Dutta) father, Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) enter the scene.
How Aarush and his buddy Bob (Riteish Deshmukh) come out of this mess, forms the crux of the film.

On the whole, Housefull is not a complete laugh-riot, but is an entertainer all the way, targeted at the hardcore masses. What really works for the film is its massive star cast, gripping second half and also the skilled performances by each and every member of its cast. The audience is starved for a good commercial entertainer and Housefull should bring back the 'housefull' boards back outside cineplexes.

Kangana Ranaut gets Rs.5 crore for a film

Ever since she won a National Award for Fashion, Kangna Ranaut seems to have decided she won’t be selling herself short any longer.

She recently demanded – and got – Rs 5 crore for a film which is to be directed by Tanvir Khan, who last directed Deadline.

The actor says, “The action sequences involve hundreds of fighters, 1,000 plus horses, hundreds of elephant and camels, including huge sequences such as, a train robbery and a full-fledged war on the battlefield with a combat between troops.

Today, it’s rare to shoot with these large numbers, but director Anil Sharma felt it was a must to have larger than life sets, real locations with real animals, props etc. Art director Sanjay Dhabade has done an excellent job.

At times approximately 500 members of the art department worked at a time to erect various sets taking from 15-40 days to construct.” Looks like the super star is super impressed!

American experts from NBA will train us,” said Preity, who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall in her socks but has quite a sporting background. “Nobody knows I’ve been a gymnast for 11 years, I did karate for nine years, I am very good at basketball and I rifle shoot too,” she said, adding, “People said that it was a crazy idea to give one-and-a half years to IPL, but then today, financially, I don’t have to care for the rest of my life.”

Abhishek:Big B is a troublesome kid

Well that’s what Amitabh’s onscreen father,Abhishek in Paa has to say about his 13-year-old kid.Abhishek says, “Amitabh was a very troublesome child all through the film.”
There’s also a scene in the movie where Abhishek gives a piggyback ride to Big B.
Director Balki says, “Abhishek did it in one take. He carried his father effortlessly across the vast field. We shot the sequence near Cambridge in England at a place called Bury St Edmunds.”
Big B also talks about the piggyback scene, he says, “Carrying me piggyback was Abhishek’s job. Jaya and I merely produced a strong boy! No, the most tedious part of playing the 12-year-old boy in Paa was the makeup. I had to sit still for 4-5 hours every morning without moving, eating or even drinking water. For a sunrise shot I had to be up from 11 am the previous night doing the makeup to be able to shoot on time the next morning.”
Paa will be hitting the theaters on 13th November.

Saif:Kurbaan’s shooting was depressing

Saif Ali Khan describes his experience of shooting for Kurbaan as “cold and depressing” and only good thing about the movie was that his girlfriend Kareena was always with him.
Saif says, “Kurbaan was hard work. In fact, the Philadelphia schedule was plain hell. It wasn’t anything like a picnic shooting for the film.”
“It gets dark there at 1600 hrs IST itself. Moreover, it’s so cold and at minus 10 degrees it can actually get really depressing. Since we were shooting in sync sound, it was extremely difficult to get the pitch and tone right while delivering our dialogues.”
Saif also reveals that he and Bebo were informed about last year’s Mumbai terror attack while shooting for Kurbaan, he says, “Because of that, it was so difficult to concentrate on the film’s shoot. Thankfully, Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) was there with me at that time but still both of us were very depressed.”
“We were shooting in a tube and that’s anything but fun. We had to shoot a subway sequence but being in a tube for hours at a stretch is like being in an underground prison. Really, it is very disorienting. Who says shooting for a film is like being in a picnic? Kurbaan certainly wasn’t one.”
Kurbaan releases on November 20th and starrs, Vivek Oberoi, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
