Wykorzystanie postaci Cobaina, która można “odblokować” w grze i używać podczas innych piosenek skrytykowali już fani Nirvany, Courtney Love, Krist Novoselic i Dave Grohl.

Teraz głos zabrał sam Jon, który stwierdził że nie zgodził się na propozycję “uwiecznienia” jego postaci w grze Guitar Hero, i że zapewne czułby się dość dziwnie gdyby usłyszał czyjś głos wydobywający się z animowanej wersji jego samego.

Solówka do We Weren’t Born To Follow nie była taka jaką większość fanów by oczekiwała:
