Following the Steam video game platform’s decision to allow adult content, D-Dub Software has released their hot sci-fi/fantasy RPG, BoneCraft, on the site. This move brings adult gaming to the mainstream, and opens the debate as to what is appropriate in the gaming industry.

“Adult games will always create controversy because people assume video games are for kids,” says D-Dub marketing director Sam Stewart. “But the average video game player is 34 years old, and only 28% are under age 18. For Steam to lift their ban validates this.”

Valve Corporation’s Steam is the largest PC video game distribution platform in the world. In the past, it has prohibited games that include adult content, as do most other platforms. Now, D-Dub’s Bone series will be among the first adult games on the site, and the only adult RPG.

“This game is the future of the adult industry,” said legendary adult star Ron Jeremy about D-Dub’s other title, BoneTown, in which he co-stars. BoneTown will be released on Steam later this year.

With video games as the fastest growing entertainment medium in the world (grossing $43.3 billion in 2018) and the adult industry as the least discussed but most profitable entertainment avenue in America, many find it surprising that D-Dub’s games remain the only true crossover of these industry titans.

“We all grew up with great sci-fi and fantasy stories, like Star Wars, Star Trek, Warhammer, and WarCraft, and wondered what it would be like to go all the way with the hottest creatures in the galaxy. Now, in BoneCraft, you can,” says Stewart.

Somewhere, in some galaxy, a peaceful land of orcs and elves is about to be torn apart.

A mighty spacecraft hurtles through the sky, filled with invaders from a planet far away. They call themselves the Good Ol’ Boys, but the elves fear nothing good will come of their visit. These drunken space marines are about to discover that the planet harbors the most precious commodity in the universe: elf pussy.

Can the elves vanquish this new enemy before they discover the secret elf brothels? Will the horny orcs be able to resist the charms of their hot elf neighbors? And how will they defeat the most frightening enemy of all?

The BoneCraft Story

The story of BoneCraft begins with the leader of the Space Wranglers, Captain Fort Worth (Neil Kaplan) and his second in command Lubbock (Ainson Rotola), cruising through space in their ship the USS Longstreet. After getting drunk on too much Jet Fuel, Lubbock brings up a subject he knows sends Fort into a rage: Elven women.

Earlier in Fort’s galactial campaigns, he had the chance to bone the crown jewel of the galaxy, the Elf Queen. He was only foiled by the power of the Elven Army and since then, Fort has lived with the pain of the one he let get away.

On the mention of Elven girls, Fort flies into a rage and crash-lands the ship on a nearby planet inhabited by an Orc tribe. When the Wranglers try to enforce their interstellar extinction policy on the Orcs, Fort discovers they are being led by an old friend of his, Warboss Swampass (Gabriel Brooks) – but that’s not all. He also learns the planet is also harboring an Elven Brothel…run by the Elf Queen herself.

Fort and his Wranglers must fight their way through Orc tribes and Elven armies, bone their way through the countless women, and take on the galaxy’s most dreaded creatures, the fearsome Dick Monsters – all so Fort can finally acquire his Holy Grail.

BoneCraft is an action-adventure game with a unique play dynamic that is merged seamlessly into the gameplay. The game is played from a third-person perspective, with the player in control of Captain Fort Worth in a free-roaming world.

Space Wranglers are masters of hand to hand combat, as well as of weapons ranging from saw swords to bazookas and fire grenades. They are equipped with Wrangler Armor, the epitome of intergalactic technology. The suit is able to absorb the alcohol in their blood to power his Jump Pack, creating a benefit for staying continually drunk. The Wrangler Armor can also utilize gunpowder to activate a Power Shield, which administers a shock to any enemy who comes in contact with it.

Weapons can be purchased, upgraded, stripped off enemies or found hidden in the world. Fort is also able to level up his team, from their armor to their weapons, Fort can create his best Wrangle attack squad possible. He’ll need all the fire power he can get as he takes on the strange magic of the Orcs and the overpowering mystical skill of the Elven army.

We all know that BoneTown and BoneCraft are only available on the PC because our good friends over at the consoles don’t allow our type of entertainment on their devices. But that shouldn’t mean you can’t use their controllers! We listened to your suggestions, and in BoneCraft, you’ll be able to use an Xbox 360 controller or any other Microsoft controller–in addition to the normal PC controls, of course.

We know some of you felt like BoneTown was too hard. Some thought it was too easy. Lucky for everyone, we’ve given BoneCraft three levels of difficulty so you can choose to play in Easy, Medium, or Hard mode. If you just feel like getting some action from a hot Elf chick, you can breeze right through the missions in Easy mode, and if you’re like us and enjoy a bit more of a challenge, we’ve made the game Hard for you. No pun intended.
