My beloved Missycat died of old age on Sunday, 02 February, 2014 at the age of nineteen and a half. I am still partly numb, and most definitely grieving. However, I did manage to focus long enough to update Missycat’s Principles of the Universe. It seemed, somehow, like the right thing to do. I can’t say if it made me feel better or not, but I can say the website will remain online in loving memory of Missycat, Cat Empress of the Universe.

Big Changes Coming

First, my blog and my gallery have been put on their own subdomains. This is for technical reasons that I won’t bother to go into. So the blog is now blog.bonni.net and the gallery is gallery.bonni.net. And speaking of the gallery, there are new images in the gallery, including a new random wedding, some more shots from around Melbourne, and at least one flower picture.

However, I’m going to be changing the main part of this domain very soon, and moving to a WordPress based system. Right now, the pages are kind of cobbled together with SSI and various other tricks, but I think it would be easier to just set up a WP site and make pages and use this main page as the main blog area. But I’m not sure when that will be accomplished. First thing I need to do is work out what sort of template I want to use.

Anyway, keep your eyes open for big changes, because they’re coming…
