Every year Mr Boo and I watch Eurovision and have a giggle at the songs, the acts and Graham Norton's voice over (although Terry Wagon was much funnier).

Now I'm never very good at judging who will win, I did predict that Jedward would finish higher than Blue last year (admittedly so did properly the rest of the nation).

Now this year I would like Sweden to win...

And for once I picked the winner!

How do I encourage Tigger to eat?

Since getting the chicken pox in February Tigger has been ill on and off ever since. Due to this his weight gain as been slow and as the health visitor put it 'unacceptable'. Now I realise that a 0.20kg weight gain in three months is less than ideal but really did she really have to put it so blunt? It is not my fault, I have not been starving my children. With each illness he loses his appetite and it take so long for him to regain it again.

Currently he is refusing any meals, I have tried his usual food, finger foods, the same foods we have but no he is just not interested and smacks your hand away when you try to offer food. So he is surviving off additional milk feeds and snacks... and when I say snacks I mean, toast, raisins and breadsticks.

How do I get him to eat more?

He is due to be weighed again on Thursday and I'm worried that he will have not put on an acceptable amount of weight.

Any help, suggestions, ideas welcomed...

The tasting experience
Mr Boo found the blend that we were sent to a strong full flavour although sweet at the same time. Luckily he tasted the coffee before adding his usual 1-2 sugars otherwise it may have been too sweet.

I really liked the idea of the subscription packages, with gift packages available which would make the ideal gift/treat. It is very easy to find one coffee that you enjoy and stick with it, I think it is great that you are sent a different blend each month to try and experience.

Dear So and So... Tax Credits

Dear Tax Credits,

Today you have out done yourselves... After ringing again today to inform you that Mr Boo was made redundant at the end of March and that despite previous calls regarding this you have failed to pay us any money. The lady I spoke to last week explained that our account was suspended but was unable to explain why. However the gentleman I spoke with this morning kindly explained... 'there appears to be an error on your account... We have Mr Boo marked as deceased'

Yes you read that right... DECEASED!!!

'Obviously we reasplise that this is incorrect' explained the gentleman
'Trust me he is very much alive thank you' I replied
'Oh yes, we are unsure as to how this could have happened but my colleague sent a message last week to get the rectified and I'm now about to send another to see if we can get your payments reinstated'.

Honestly tax credits how could you make such a mistake!!!

I think we live in the society now where we like to look after ourselves, whether this be in body or mind. Something equally important is cleanliness, in our homes, whilst out and about and to prevent the risk of infection.

In practice
The cream has a lovely fresh almost fruity smell to it, which is not over powering. Upon squeezing the tube the cream comes out easily and only a small amount is required for coverage. I found that the cream came out feeling cool and refreshing on my hands, this to me was an added bonus as it gave my hands a little wake up.

The packaging is hand sized so not too big for you to pop into your bag. I liked that it didn't scream this product is for ladies only, with the white and blue design I feel that both men and women would be able to use the product comfortably.

As a mum and someone who works for the NHS this is perfect for myself, my family and my colleagues. I am someone who is always thinking about infection and more importantly the spread of infection. Partly due the line of work I am in but mainly I feel as a mum. I remember a few years a go reading an article about the Underground and how many germs are on the handrails... Disgusting! This would be great for communters, just think of how many surfaces you touch during the course of your journey and wouldn't it be great to not only keep your hands soft but germ free!

The alcohol-free sanitising formulation is to me a revelation as applying the hand gel provided by in hospitals all day can really strip your hands, leaving them feeling dry, sore and tight. I have keep this tube on my desk for the last few days and I can tell you it is nearly empty as every time someone walks passed my desk they have had a little squeeze (maybe I should buy some shares in Vaseline, might make me rich).

Overall
This incorporates two key factors for me, soft skin and cleanliness. I feel that should be a staple in everyone's handbag, changing bag or man bag. I really liked the fragrance and the cool feeling it left my hands both whilst applying and after applied.

It's funny how a song can change your mood or transport back to a memory. I'm sitting on the train to London listening to my iPod when this song comes on to my playlist...

I'm sitting smiling away to myself wanting to bop away. This song reminds me of one of my favourite films 'The Wedding Date'. I can still remember gong to the cinema to see this for the first time with Lou... Fabulous film!
