Right out of the box, I noted the heavy nature of this dildo. You could easily take out an intruder with one whack. This is no delicate dong, yall! I did receive the non-vibrating version, however a vibrating version is available for just a few bucks more.The toy did have an initial 'plastic'y' smell but after I cleaned it, all systems were a go. Cleaning is really easy for this, a mild soap and warm water or special antibacterial toy wipes will do the trick.

I use condoms with dildos and most vibrators. Just because it's the sanitary thing to do. But whatever works for you. While you can wrangle a standard sized condom around this beast, I suggest a Magnum or other 'plus-size' condom. You'll find that the piercing can potentially tear the condom, (though that wasn't my experience) I wouldn't worry much, because I'm pretty sure this penis won't give you an STD or knock you up. Lube wise, I'm pretty sure both water based and silicone lubes are okay to use with this dildo. And you're going to need a lot of lube. Possibly 3 assistants and a shoe horn, too. No lie, insertion of this dildo didn't run very smoothly for me.

I've yet to decide how to incorporate the sturdy suction cup base. A coffee table convo piece? Maybe stick it to the shower wall and horrify my husband? I probably won't use that aspect of this dildo for sexual purposes. But I do intend to get plenty of use out of the suction cup, one way or the other!

So here's the bottom line. This toy has already made its rounds. I've called, texted, and emailed everyone who would listen, (sorry, Ma!) about my Phil Varone Dr. PhilGood Non-Vibrating Dildo. It's impressive, huge, and everyone who doesn't own one should feel very jealous!

Hey my little bookworms! :) Since I've been a little under the weather lately, I've been trying to do some extra reading. So when I had the chance to review & hold a giveaway for New York Times Bestselling Author, Julie Kagawa....I said lets do it!

If you were a fan of The Twilight Saga or Hunger Games series, The Immortal Rules will be right up your alley! Just in time for your Summer reading pleasure, this one is a page turner.

The Immortal Rules takes place about sixty years after a virus kills off the majority of the human population.

The story centers around Allision Sekemoto. She and her camp struggle to survive a city overrun by vampires. (Oh yeah!) Her hatred for the undead is quickly met by an attack, leaving her with two choices-Die or become what she hates most. Her survival is hinged on one thing, consuming human blood before she goes mad. Not wanting to accept that, Allie fights to not do the one thing she has to do to sustain herself.

Following Allie as she flees outside of the city, she meets up with a group of humans on a search for the cure. The same cure that could possibly eradicate the same disease that killed off most of the human race. The same disease that spawned the rabids, creatures that are a threat to both humans and vampires.

Will Allie pass for a human amongst the group as her hunger grows? Or will someone see through her facade? In the end she is faced with a decision to choose who and what are worth dying for.

The author makes the story's main character Allie someone we can all relate to. Told from Allie's point of view, brings you right into the novel. Julie Kagawa hits the nail on the head bringing us the latest and greatest in vampire fiction.

I really don't want to go into too much detail, because I hate when people review books and reveal key elements of a great read. That's exactly what this is! It kept me turning the pages and on the edge of my seat. If this is your genre, I think you'll love it too!

Dude, Where's My Appendix?

If you've been following my saga, you already know that I had a CT scan this week. After a huge runaround from my doctor's office-I took it upon myself to go get my results at the hospital. Here is the official report, because I know you care! ;)

So here's the breakdown. I have 2/3 stones in my left kidney and a small stone in my upper right kidney. Ovarian cysts, fatty buildup on my liver, (I blame my love of chocolate and fried food for that!) some kind of issue with my right ureter. Apparently it is considered a congenital birth defect. So thanks, Ma! (Also, they were unable to see my distal ureters. What the hell are they and why can't they be seen?) A small pool of free fluid in my pelvic cul-de-sac. Did you know your pelvis had a cul-de-sac? Me either. But that is most likely from a recently ruptured cyst.

They also noted I had breast implants. Who knew?!

The most alarming part---my appendix is missing. But I never had them removed. Reward if found. Be on the lookout, folks. There must be a black market for the appendix. Lock your windows and doors tonight!

For me there is something to be said about a company with exceptional customer service. (Because you and I both know, it's getting harder and harder to find!) But not with Conversation Pieces! Audrey was personable and of fantastic assistance and pointed me towards a best seller-The Perfect Shirt:

I have to start with the packaging. ADORABLE!

My Perfect Shirt was packaged in plastic, then wrapped with tissue paper, ribbon, and a lollipop! I'm a sucker for a beautiful presentation & Conversation Pieces nailed it. (I almost felt guilty opening it.) Almost! Because once I pulled my shirt out of the package, I was tickled pink!

This is the most incredibly soft top you can even imagine. It is a 65% polyester/35% cotton blend. I chose the charcoal colored Perfect Shirt. Honestly, I can't gush enough. The sleeves are adjustable. Leave them long, or roll them up and snap them for shorter sleeves. The back part of the top is longer, giving a short/long hem style. (I really love that!) The zipper pocket adds the perfect finish to this Perfect Shirt!

Care instructions call for hand washing in cold water and tumbling dry. I had no problems washing my shirt and have already worn it once. (Then my daughter borrowed it and I had to go retrieve it back!) I'm absolutely going to buy this in every color available.

What's In Your Bag?

Thought I would give you guys an update on my appointment with the Urologist Monday. (Don't act like you weren't waiting on pins and needles to hear all about it!)

Let me start by saying I could kick myself in the ass for not photographing the waiting area of this place. NO ONE, minus myself was under 70. Except the guy who wandered in with no shoes on, making a scene about how he was thrown out of the neighboring doctor's office. I'm not sure if he was 'touched' or just a weirdo in general. Anyway, I immediately confirmed my initial thoughts about urologists--they're for the elderly.

Moving on. I spent an hour waiting in the lobby to be called back. So I texted my friend Carrie to ease my worries.

Me: You don't think doc will want to exam my vag, do you?

Carrie: No. He's not going to want to see your bag.

????

(Auto-correct apparently changes vag to bag. FYI, I'm fine with showing ANYONE my bag.)

Then I get called back. I was escorted into the exam room where I sat for another 30 minutes. So I started casing the place out.

I immediately spied an entire drawer labeled 'lube.' I'm pretty sure they won't want to lube my bag, so I began to get nervous. I mean a whole drawer, you guys! And I thought I was well equipped with K-Y.

Ladies, if you've had an internal ultrasound...you know what these are. At this point, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have show my bag and my vag. Before I could climb out the window, Dr. Bladder comes in. (That's what I'm going to call him from now on.)

He wasn't as ugly as the picture I found of him on Google. He was more on the distinguished side. Not Bob DeNiro distinguished...but not as woof woof as I had expected.

He went over my medical history, asked a few questions, and basically told me that he felt my string of UTI's and kidney infections had an underlying cause. Could be a bacteria that I carry that is antibiotic resistant. Could be a ~~kidney stone~~ diamond obstructing things. Could be something worse. (In his defense, he didn't tell me that. I'm a doctor with a degree from Google University.) He told me we would bypass the usual blood workup he does and go right into testing.

So next Tuesday, I have to be at the hospital at 8 a.m. for a CT Urogram. This is basically a series of x-rays and an I.V. full of dye contrast. He said if we don't find answers there, the next step will be a Cystoscopy. I'm not even going to tell you what that is, because it makes me feel kind of ill. Fingers crossed this test turns up the diamond blocking my ureter!
