I am using the word "whoring" since it became apparent to me that I have been making my photos and "private" information available on world wide web's inter-galactic force of social networking. But before all you "internet critics" and "anti-whoring" animals judge me, allow me to defend myself by saying that it was all "unconsciously" made--it was an act I was not aware of until some foolish stalker on the net used my name and my information to indulge his passion for ignorance (and revenge maybe) over me. Enemies. Where could they be? They are there, sitting on a not-so-comfortable chair in their living room or empty bedroom--seemingly drooling over my 'websites' in the hopes of crushing my not-so-happy life apart. Well, who's laughing now?

(Breathe sheena, breathe) Okay, so as I have mentioned earlier and as obvious with the title, I have started my journey to privacy just weeks ago. I have set all my photos private and deleted any possible information that "my enemies" may possibly use against me or harm me in the near future. I have scoured over my emails (yes, emails.. I have multiple of them--all for certain purposes) for file hosts, social networking sites and other unnecessary websites or databases that I may have signed up for during my technologically-immature days. Then BOOM! over a dozen of them popped in the open misery, I could barely imagine how stupid(?) I was to make myself available with just a click away. My my. As a matter of fact, I think all these dated back to the time where I was not aware of the threat of these websites. Tsk tsk.

Thanks to Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin's not-so-long-ago yahoomail scandal that I bumped my head to the consequences that awaits me. That is, add that to the recent web-wide catastrophe that I encountered recently. Ugh. To think, I have not harmed anybody for goodness sake. Oh well, technology is the "freshest" medium for revenge, they say. Have you heard of the university student who posted all the names of the women whom her "cheating" boyfriend slept with? Holy moley. So you guys/gals better be careful with all this "whoring" thingy that you've got going. It may appear to be harmless at first, but you'll never know who's got your website bookmarked on his or her "gateway to stalking the stalkable."

So there you go, I deleted the unnecessary databases I signed up for. I didn't realize "deleting" one's account for a social networking site would take days. Or that deleting all your photos could be as easy as one, two, three. Or that making your photos "completely secure and efficiently available" would cost you around $10/month. Or that it was kind of disheartening to delete photos which you have saved on that website for years and have had massive number of comments from your contacts. Or that I am making this post only to again divulge information about myself. But what can I say? I love to blog. I love to write. This is passion people, not plain whoring, to say the least.

And so as I am about to end this rant with regard to my privacy-inclined walk, I am off to keeping one website alone (or make that two, my blog should be retained. I would forever regret it if I delete my BLOGS "six of them to be exact"). It would also be a shame if I deprive myself from expressing through words, as Ate Charity mentioned "Not everyone can write." So I must write, hoping that my works won't be stolen or I'll have to make a post about plagiarism for that instance. And of course, I must post pictures exclusively for those whom I care about. I can't possibly tag along with me a giant photo album or constantly ship photos to my family in Bukidnon. Or keep them on email and forward to my "trusted friends"--that is just so a decade ago. I also have my five cents allocated for 21st century and I'm loving it.

Good thing multiply's photo database is free. Heck the "pixel" thingy or the changes it will make on the file size. All I want is just to share great moments that I have captured on film (or on the coolness of the advent of gadgets). Guh, there you go folks, as most of you may have noticed, my photos are set on private either deleted (e.g. Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, hi5, Tagged, Photobucket to name a few..I told you I had more than a dozen.) Hence, these are available via my MULTIPLY page, while some of it--pictures that I'd write about--will be posted on my carefully layouted blogspot (just google for the link if you're so eager to know). Why multiply? I am relentlessly tired checking an array of websites and having them all saved on my toolbar—you know, checking for updates and all. I figured that it would hassle-free to just lead my friends and my family to a powerful single database (which I like to use) and set everything accessible ONLY to those whom I want to stalk me. *winks*

I am still battling with the reality that my life will never be private (of course sheen, you're publicly active! what do you expect?) tsk, at least I tried though. And if one day, my accounts will be hacked, you'll know that I tried to warn myself, I just never learned. ;p OR.. OR.. The stalker and the enemies just couldn’t help themselves and—but oh please, have mercy on me. :(

Does this mean I should delete everything online so I would be unhackable? *UGGGGHHH!*

P.S. I’ll be expecting negative comments. Or silence. Or if you’re kind enough, something to cheer me up about this post. This is a mark towards my journey to privacy. For crying out loud, I want to leave some room for myself. I deserve that. My birthday’s on soon. *yeah baby*

Photo retrieved from: Daniel J. Please do. Just click on the Blogger's Choice Awards icon below.

Need to be convinced first?
Read his posts and be amazed. ^__^
He's worth it.

P.S. Or a piglet. Either of the two would serve me good. But my mom never wanted one and always reminded me of my little sister who loves to embrace almost anything or anyone that comes to her way, and my mom fears that she might get "overwhelmed" if we had a pet in the house. Now that I live in a 3rd floor unit, it's impossible to get one still, the building owner just won't allow it, and my hectic work schedule would definitely protest.

And so here I am, alone with my computer again. I've taken into consideration a parrot, perhaps, or a turtle, or a rabbit. But similar to that of my dream of having my very own dino, I bet it would break the seas to have it realized. Nevertheless, I have compensated this "need" of having a pet through facebook. This application called Fluff Friends. Check my pet/s.

I was living my dream. Finally, I got a pet. I named him/her/it Oinky (so obvious dear) the Piggu. I have the power to feed it, pet it and even race it with other fluffs. I can also change habitats through Fluff Art. Everything seemed to go perfectly well, I indluged into crafting what I believed was an art, with my pet/s on it. But then just recently, I found these. The Fluff Arts of other facebook users. And then I got frustrated. Daym, they're good. (Note: All these are made out of the items that are only sold on the fluff shop. Creativity, daym.)

Mind you guys, I have skimmed through all the artworks and I'm still in Page 5.
I bet there's more to be amazed of in the other pages.

This one here is my favorite.

This one's cute.

This one surely is a craft.

This one's got a great theme.

While this one's simple but catchy.

And this one's really elegant.

The Risk Taker Test

Okay, so I've just taken the "heart color test" or whatever you want to call it, then I found this list in Blogthings.com and since the night is a bit boring waiting for my housemate to finally watch Fool's Gold with me, I felt like it would be great to waste my time answering "web-tests-which-are-certainly-not-valuable." Perhaps it would be cool to refute the questions before posting the widget, so here it goes. (update: Can't refute them, blogger won't allow. This came along with Merkko's fascinating collection of Dota AllStars heroes as his background image. Cool. Hehe, geez. I so love it when I visit my siblings' friendster profiles because I also bump on good stuff. I mean, good applications. Funny, cute, weird and of course interesting works of art from dedicated web application developers. Check this out: the Emo (courtesy of Mindistortion)who hates to do anything that is normal. Geez, I directly visited the website and the interface is absolutely cool. A really talented web developer. Kudos to whoever you are. Anyway, my boyfriend ain't so fond of emo/s that he/we played along with this widget. Hmm, in my own view, his rockstar personality looks exactly as follows:

Toughest Heavy Drunkards

In my own assessment, I think the city with the most "drunkards" are found in Malaybalay, Bukidnon. I myself can attest to that since I used to be a part of that infamous legacy in our town. Well, I think most tourists who have seen the depths of the "city inside the forest" can second my motion. I remember the time when Xtra Challenge made their show in our place. They had this activity where a celebrity had to leave her bag of bread on the sidewalk for a while to read some piece of paper. Then after a little while, in that oozingly hot lunchtime, a drunk man took the bag of bread and just passed by the celebrity laughing. Wahaha. My gosh.

Anywie, I also believe that the city has the toughest of all tough when it comes to drinking. Men, women, young or old--they're all good in tagay and they can stay 24 hours drinking and not getting drunk--they literally don't choose what time of the day to drink. Alcohol tolerance. Tsk tsk. And oh, the people there don't even choose what beverage to drink as they take in what is served and what's even better, most of them know how to mix drinks of any kind (cool eh?). Tourists, if you are looking for friendly and attractive heavy drinkers to match up that party animal inside you, visit Malaybalay and you'll see the light of Jah. Haha.

But know what? I also think the whole province-Bukidnon--itself can hold that title. Trust me, folks there are outstanding.

Starbucks, Witpax.

The oh-so popular Starbucks. I figured that since I am a coffee-holic, I might as well show off the blends which I certainly love. As their tagline goes, "Coffee for people who love coffee,"--I love coffee. Yahoo! I'm addicted to it. There's something in the thought of coffee that shimmers in my senses. The smell of coffee lingers like that of the fragrance of love and passion. I dunno, smart conversations start when we have coffee on our hands. I think Lui (my highschool till college friend) makes good coffee. Though he confessed it was only 3-in-1. What's your favorite coffee? And who makes the best coffee?

Good Photo Widgets

Good Widgets. Trust me, they're really good. For web addicts and blog enthusiasts like me, it's a must to have good widgets posted on our site. Of course, not only for the sake of showing it off to the masses, but also to have convenience in uploading whatever it is that we wish to publish. The sad reality in blog hosts is that, they do not cater everything that we need. Like people, no site is perfect. There will always be something that we wish to have been included in their services. As for my case, I really wanted to have creative showcase in my photos. Much more farther than the simplicity of pasting it. So I googled for like two months looking for photo hosts that suits my desire. Finally, with the help of SEOs and trying several keywords, I bumped t0 Good Widgets. You might wanna try their service yourself before planning to ask me questions. It's user-friendly and it's really efficient in uploading or uploading photos from other web hosts. And of course, the main factor of getting a widget, it's FREE.

Jobie Love on Super Wall

I must admit, I have been attached with my facebook lately. Well, there were several factors that made me stay online on the page. I loved taking care of my Fluff Friends. Oh, you won't see my page unless you add me. Aside from that, I loved reading slash viewing the stuff my Facebook Contacts posted on my Super Wall. Graffiti. Glitter Comments. Music Videos. Chain Messages. Etcetera etcetera. I have always been a MULTIPLY.COM fan, but in times of loneliness and need of cyber apps, my facebook never fails to offer a wide range of interesting applications. This graffiti is something I made for seconds. When I felt envious of the nice posts my friends gave me. Hehe. A sign of my love for my organization. Fear of traffic (haha). I had to fly home for the lent so I needed someone inclined with the twists of going to the airport. Thanks to Splice and Dice. As seen below, I took a picture of the plane--beside the plane I boarded--for my little sister who loves such. But whew, it was crazy. Delayed ang flight ko by 2 hours. The plane's engine already started and it was ready for takeoff when the lights suddenly dimmed out--then we were informed that we had to transfer to another aircraft due to "technical problems" .. Tsk. That harshly scared my dad and him and the man seated next to me (I can tell..Haha). Hence, despite that experience, I would still board on Philippine Airlines. What can I say? The service is great. I'll just charge it to experience then.

Celebrity Look-a-Likes

Hmm, celeb look-a-likes? Oh well, most people tell me I look like Mariel Rodriguez in almost all angles. I dunno, maybe yes. Maybe no. But in this certain case I am writing about, it's more on International Celebrities and I'd like you to be the judge if it's all bluff or it makes a little sense. This widget courtesy of Face Recognition is one of the first apps I tried placing on my friendster account way back 2 years ago.

Book Shelf Widget

Widgets, widgets, widgets. As evident in my review page, almost everything caters good stuff found on the internet. Dependent on the beneficiality that it may serve an individual. I initially thought of placing this widget directly on the sidebar. But then I realized, it would rather be better to have the layout clean and still get to publish the books that I treat as grandeur in the world of literature. Good thing Shelfari introduces readers to our global community of book lovers and encourages them to share their literary inclinations and passions with peers, friends, and total strangers (for now). And so it's a win-win since I patronize it and give credit by posting.

Books That Thrill Me

Nokia Phone as Webcam

Since I have been away from home, me and my family always see to it that we constantly communicate. You know, to erradicate homesickness and feel like we're just beside one another. I have been under my parents' supervision for 20 years, and I must admit, it was really hard to be away from them. I often cried and felt sad. But then, distance is no longer a big issue with the help of technology. Especially the internet. But I had a problem though. My laptop doesn't have a webcam installed. So yahoo messenger was like texting and voicemail alone.

Guh. Just recently, very recently, a minute ago, I surfed in search of a free software which will enable my camera phone to serve as webcam for YM. Now I am convinced that there are lots of good stuff on the net. It works well and it's easy to install. You just need a bluetooth device to connect your phone to your laptop. After installing, open the application in your phone then activate the webcam option in your instant messenger. Boom. You have Webcam Wherever I Go. Well, my expected wage was out of the blue that time and I already sent my savings to my parents in Bukidnon. I think, I had my "usual" meal that time. Coffee and Oreos. That's it. I can't possibly rob a bank or dance on the streets to ask for money. Nah, that was a bit exaggerated. But really, I stayed home and I brainstormed. Then luckily, my senses itched my sanity. And so with a little help of uneasiness and thoughts of creativity, I made a personalized calendar which caters what I presume to be adhering to his monthly schedule. For 2008 it is.

Live It Up!

What do you want to do with your life? The place is excruciatingly dirty and the smell is awful. It is disgusting and very discouraging for a food chain. I mean like, Jollibee is a renowned fast-food chain, as a matter of fact I love their burger steak and chicken joy; but then again, I feel sad that the management or sanitation of such franchise is crazily disheartening. Other Jollibee outlets are clean. But here? The CR, the tables, the floor. Darn. I am not the only person blabbing. A lot of people in LB have the same problem. They should do something about this issue as soon as possible if they don't want to lose their loyal customers, or worse, get their customers sick.

Southpark Avatar

I bet you also have your own SouthPark Avatar. South Park’s animation is conceivably designed to look like the cutout animation originally used in its pilot shows and it was just recently that the society hooked with making avatars. Construction paper cutouts were used in the original pilot animation and in the first episode made for Comedy Central, as defined in the history of this comic blast. SouthPark has transformed from the "usual kid show" into more of "Family Guy" thing. Explicit contets, and funny nags from contemporary shows and controversies. For those who's not yet in the circle, you can also make your own avatar in the SouthPark Studio. He posted it on my Friendster profile and guess what, I have received more than a dozen of it from other DeMolays and Alumni, at that. What made my heart even warmer was its heading: Why DeMolays love Jobies? Coming from a DeMolay himself, he appreciates his sister(s) in the organization, and that meant a lot to me. Peterpan is one hot flying boy, but nah, he's not that "pogi" for me. Hihi. Going back to the fairy, as a girl, I hated Tinkerbell and loved her at the same time. Well, she was the culprit in Peterpan-Wendy love story, although it was really Captain Hook who made kids bite their nails when he was on the scenario. Credit to this glitter website so I may be able to let you see the jealous fairy's beauty. Click that link and you'll see the oozingly opposite fairy. Haha. I've read she's the "ugliest" tinkerbell.

What Happened to Barack?

This is an email that made me feel bad while I was watching a basketball game at Baker Hall. I elt really bad about the outcome of the campaign that I actually broke the zipper of my purse. I was furious, and I felt anxious. I hope he'd gain the nomination. Hope Americans will see the light of the "CHANGE" Barack Obama is willing to give. I have always been vocal with my support for him.

"We may not know the final outcome of today's voting until morning, but the results so far make one thing clear.

When the dust settles from today's contests, we will maintain our substantial lead in delegates. And thanks to millions of people standing for change, we will keep adding delegates and capture the Democratic nomination.

We knew from the day we began this journey that the road would be long. And we knew what we were up against.

We knew that the closer we got to the change we seek, the more we'd see of the politics we're trying to end -- the attacks and distortions that try to distract us from the issues that matter to people's lives, the stunts and the tactics that ask us to fear instead of hope.

But this time -- this year -- it will not work. The challenges are too great. The stakes are too high.

Americans need real change.

In the coming weeks, we will begin a great debate about the future of this country with a man who has served it bravely and loves it dearly. And we will offer two very different visions of the America we see in the twenty-first century.

John McCain has already dismissed our call for change as eloquent but empty.

But he should know that it's a call that did not begin with my words. It's the resounding call from every corner of this country, from first-time voters and lifelong cynics, from Democrats and Republicans alike.

And together you and I are going to grow this movement to deliver that change in November."

Thank you,
Barack

Top Rated Films 2007

Perhaps you are familiar with RockYou. All the "fun stuff" it could do to make your profile page attractive. With this, I would like to present my Movie Board. I previously posted my Favorite Movie Board and today, I wanted to give credit to my Top Rated films for the year 2007. It comes with short comments, as well.

Flash Fetish Playlist

I found one really cool widget on a Flash Website and darn, it made my heart jump. It offers several choices to serve as playlist and mind you people, they have cool designs and searching plus embedding music files are just a click away. Well, here's a sample of my playlist on that. I made an array of Guitar Gods collection showcasing Starry Night (Satriani), Glassgow Kiss (Petrucci), Little Wing (Vai), Darkness Fell (Wolfgang), Voodoo Child (Hendrix) and The Godfather Theme (Slash). Enjoy listening.

Alcohol Pregnancy

Got this photo from Bro Oliver of Zamboanga City Chapter. I just can't help but react to it. I mean like, this isn't always true. Pregnancy is not ALWAYS a product of alcoholism. Beer or Tanduay, it rests under the discretion of those who drink..or who act "drunk." Dun Cha Think?
