The BBP officially starts Wednesday, people can register past then, but the forums are already up and kicking so we want to make sure as many people as possible know about the event before it gets started. If you can help with a tweet, facebook post, blog post, or best of all - invite your friends in case I missed them with all of the running to find as many of us as possible. Authors are welcome as well to get involved and help improve communication between all book lovers online, strengthening the online book community.

The conference is coming up in the next couple of weeks and the organizers are hard at work putting together various panels to help everyone become better informed. Some of the bloggers who will be participating on the panels will be Terry Kate from Backseat Nightmares, Rachel from Bitten by Books, Jessica from Novel Reaction, Jackie from Literary Escapism and JoJo from JoJo's Book Corner. The Conference is held in a private Ning and attendees will be invited to sign in on April 5th.
If you are a Minor include your age in the email. We expect everyone to recognize that there will be minors attending and behave accordingly.

Important News - Panels Suggestions and Panelists - Help

Hello Lovely Bloggers and Publishers,

We are lining up the proposed panels here today and we want, nay NEED input. We want this to be a conference for EVERYONE, so we are happy to accept suggestions of panelists. What you want to ask of who, and who you want us to chase down and get there.

Also - IF you can not afford the cost to come just email us. We are happy to have extra help in place of money, BUT know you will receive more then your cost of admission in books - print and electronic.

The Cost is $45 for the conference and $7 for the shipping.
This is 5 days for around $55

All genres of book bloggers and publishers are welcome, but as the organizers we are primarily fiction and genre fiction to be specific. ***If you have an area of interest that is not being proposed JUST TELL US. I have no shame I will gladly contact anyone and ask them to participate.

For Publishers:

The Online Conference runs from March 16-20 and features forums, live chats, and audio panels. We would love to have you take part. There are a few ways your publishing house can participate.
- Registered Houses can feature themselves in the forum and set aside a time to chat with Bloggers interested in working with them.
- We are looking for contributions of books to giveaway to attending Bloggers. All titles received from the Conference will be featured in a post with the possibility of a review on each Blogger’s respective site.
- The panels will be announced January 1, 2011. We will be filling in panelists shortly thereafter.

For Bloggers:

The Online Conference runs from March 16-20 and features forums, live chats, and audio panels. We would love to have you take part.

-Listen live or to pre-recorded panels.

-Take part in online discussions regarding the panels as the occur.

-If you are unable to attend at the scheduled time, the recorded panels will be available for listening for one month, so listen at your convenience.

-Learn what publishers are looking for.

Hello Conference Go-ers!

After great deliberation the Organizers of the Book Bloggers and Publishers Online Conference have decided to do a blogger day of discussion this November and Announce the next FULL FIVE DAY BBP for March 9-13 2011

Five Days you ask? I say yes. Here is the layout planned.

Wednesday is your intro day - Blogger discussions, Authors and Pubs are welcome. During the day there will be classes for beginning bloggers and an intro course. In the evening we will discuss the issues we are all facing. As well as the new technology bloggers have as options.

By doing Thursday and Friday we are able to have more publishers and publicity companies join in the panels while they are in the office.

Saturday and Sunday can be focused on this and more, also on the authors, who are more inclined and in some cases only able to give you weekend time.

Register before January 30th and the price is $45
Registration is open up to the day of the event, After Jan. 30, 2011 the price is $60
Registration is open Now till then.
