Are CSS-based layouts better than tables for SEO?

Matt Cutts from google says that it does not matter to google if you have a css based website or a html table website. They have to cather to both. Most sites these days uses css because its easier to change plus its lighter because of less codes.

Tables vs. CSS does not have a direct impact on your rankings, but it helps your site to be better for your users (faster response, better layout, better accesibility, more flexibility, etc).

Matt says that if you have the best site, Google will find it and will rank it high no matter if its a table base website or a css based website.

Thats cool to know because I always have thought that css based website is ranked higher because there isnt alot of junk html lying around. I guess not!

For me, I have tried and tested out Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus and I have not have any problems so far. There are lots of anti-virus softwares like symantecs, norton, etc. I have tried all those and I think the key to not having problems with virus is to watch what you are downloading, what site your are being redirected, what links are you clicking because these are the one of the ways we can get into problems with trojans and worms, etc.

They have to balance each other because if you search for "viagra" over the internet there are lots of website that does gateway pages and put quality contents in their site but you also want something that links to that website that is trustworthy. Teenagers, listen up. How to get rid of pimples you might ask? I have some useful tips to prevent ache / pimples. Ofcourse our dermatologies always tells us to wash our face at least three times a day and not to eat alot of oily foods. My tip for you guys is to drink alot of water, drink vitamin A & vitamin E which is very good for our skins and don't stay up later. Lack of sleep can really have an effect on increasing pimples. Also dont pop your try to puncture your pimples. Popping pimples will cause a scar.

Well, you have alot of readers / subscribers to your RSS, you can register with feedburner. They will be the one to burn your rss. The cool thing about feedburner is that you can put adsense ads between your post. There is a way to monetize your rss. To set this up, you need to also log into your Adsense account and customize your ads for RSS feed, that directly links with your feedburner. How to wash your car without scratching while you are wash it

I got this tip from my dad. Inorder to not accidentally scratch your car while you are washing it, here are a few pointers to follow.

1. First wash it with water while wiping away dirt with your HANDS. The reason why you want to use your hands instead of using a foam or a towel is sometimes dirt or small stones gets trapped in the foam or towel and while you are wiping your car, it will scratch it further. So by washing it with water and your hands first, you are trying to remove dirt and small particles that might accidentally scratch your car.

2. After this you can now go ahead and wash your car using a foam or a piece of cloth with car soap.

Alot of factors affects the color and markings of your flower horn. Let me give you some tips on how to enhance the color of your flower horn.

1. I suggest that you change water (1/4 of your tank) 3 times a week.
2. Feeding your flower horn quality food with enhancing color capabilities is a big factor.
3. Stick a small mirror in the side of your tank so that your flower horn will think that you have another fish. The reason for this is it will excite the flowerhorn and their body will excrete a hormone that will be helpful in increasing your flowerhorn's head hump as well as their color.
4. Try to buy vitamins, I use the Vita Angel Drop which is very helpful. It brings out the color and boost your fish's immune system.

Ever wonder how I can increase my flower horns head size? Well its not as hard as you think. The secret to making the head size huge and giving it a nice shape is feeding it with quality flowerhorn food. I am also using Angel Drops VITA. Its a vitamins for all tropical and ornamental fish. It promotes spawning, health, coloration. Helps in the water conditioning, increases vitality and the most important of all, it stimulates appetite. The quicker you fish increase its body mass, the bigger its head or hump becomes.

Another thing that I use is I put a picture of another flowerhorn outside of the fish tank. You may ask, what is that going to do? Well, flowerhorn is an aggressive fish. You cannot put 2 mature flowerhorns in the same aquarium or else it will fight. By putting an image of another flowerhorn, it excites the fish and it releases enzymes that will help in its coloration and will increase the flower horn's head size.

If you love strawberries and you have a big garden or backyard, this tip for growing strawberries is for you!

This tip for growing strawberries include selecting a strawberry plant that is vigorous and healthy. You want to select a virus free plant.

Three types of strawberries that are available to the home gardener:

* June Bearing strawberries produce a large, concentrated crop in late spring. You'll get more berries per season from June bearing strawberries, and the entire crop will ripen over a three week period.

* Ever Bearing strawberries produce one crop in spring and another in fall.

* Day Neutral plants are capable of producing fruit throughout most of the growing season.

Tip #1 (Site Selection and Preparation for planting strawberries)

Strawberries are plants that love sunlight. The more sun your strawberry plant gets the more fruit and quality berries it produces. Strawberries need at least six hours of sun a day to flower and set fruit.

Strawberries will not tolerate standing water, so try to select a site that is well drained.

Plant strawberry plants about 12 inches apart. Strawberries grow quickly into a bush about a foot around.

A pH of 5.3 to 6.5 is optimal, but strawberries will grow in soils with a pH between 5.0 and 7.0. Test kits are available in most garden supply stores, but if you plan to do a lot of gardening, a professional soil test is highly recommended. Soil tests are available through most county agricultural extension agents.

The site selected should be free from weeds, grubs and soil-borne diseases.

Tip #2 (Protecting your strawberries)

When the strawberries are showing a blush of pink, you have to find a way to scare birds from eating the berries. One way of doing this is put a net over the berries by tying the net to posts about one foot off the ground.

Don't spray the flowers with insecticides. You risk killing the bees which pollinate the flowers turning them from flowers into berries. Use a strong spray from your garden hose to knock any bugs off the plants.

Tip #2 (When to pick your strawberries)

When the color of your strawberries are a bright crimson red, they are now ready to be picked. Berries don't ripen any more after being picked so wait until they are ready to be eaten.

A Very Simple and Effective Captcha

I have a very simple anti bot-spam technique that works extremely well. It requires no javascript, no cookies, no hidden fields, no complicated server weirdness, has negligible overhead, is fully accessible, has a high usability factor and is trivial to implement. Sound good? And it's dead simple too, so read on.

In order for spam to work, it has to be cost effective. In order for it to be cost effective, it has to be automated. In order for something to be automated, it requires a predictable pattern. The fundamental approach to this technique is to to deny the bot a usable pattern, yet make it easy for even the most inexperienced user to use. Since the spam bots use all of our form and predictable choices in form naming conventions (the pattern), we simply add a key that only a human can turn. We require that the user fill out one field with a number that is displayed in plain text. This makes it effective against automated solutions. That's fundamental captcha. Note: It will not, however, prevent humans from manually submitting spam to your form.

In the three years that I've used this, I've gotten a 100% anti spam-bot effectiveness rate over three years and some 20 odd sites. Sites that were being bombarded with hundreds of spams daily suddenly became quiet and good emails get though. I'm a Coldfusion coder, so my example is Coldfusion, but the technique is cross language. I hope it works as well for you.

I created a lists of Rss Feed Websites that you can submit your RSS/XML feeds. I know there are alot more out there but most of them are outdated and include sites that require registration to submit your feed. The list below are RSS Feed sites that do not require registration to submit a feed.

Pushbutton-style images and links

In the footer of the posts of this Blog, you will see the social bookmarking icons. If you hover your mouse over them, you will see that they "move" just a bit to the right and down, as if they are pushed down. Read on to learn how this is done.

The movement of the buttons is achieved using CSS. CSS lets you define a so called pseudo-class a:hover. This class contains the layout of the anchor-element <a> when the mouse hovers over it.

The bookmark-icons below have a html-structure like this:

<a href="url"><img src="imagesource"/></a>

We have to wrap it inside a span, with a unique class, for example:
<span class="pushbutton"><a href="url"><img

In the css-stylesheet we have to define the following style for the new class:
