My new site will have a place for my favorite recipes

One I am fixing now for the Fourth of July
"bookbloggery.com bacon baked beans with Molasses " a baked bean dish.

Baking dish enough to hold 6 cans (can size ;one that hold 3 1/2 serving per can) of pork and beans . I use Van Camps, any will do.
Five or six pieces of bacon ,take 4 and chop or cut into half inch pieces keep two and cut in half.save
Couple medium slices of a medium onion chopped up
Brown onions and chopped bacon slowly
while that is browning ( watch it) do not burn on purpose.
empty cans into baking disk
add a 1/8 cup of yellow mustard
add 1/8 cup of Lea and Perrin Worchestire sauce
add 1/8 cup of molasses
sprinkle top with lowery's season Salt
Mix well all into beans
add browned and drained onions and bacon pieces, stir all together
put other pieces on top ;spell something cute when these pieces of bacon are cooked ,so are the beans.
bake at least Two hours at 300 to 325 degrees
probably longer if the raw bacon is not cooked .I throw away uncooked bacon on top if in a hurry .I serve the beans as the browned bacon and onion is cooked as well as the canned beans.
If time is not of importance just cook them until bacon is done .It makes a thicker baked bean dish. You can decide how juicy you like the dish . I like mine thickened style.

I will publish this first draft as a friend wants the recipe TODAY , Now.

Amazon has changed some policies about collectible books True entry level small dealers will have to find another way to sell their collectible books but there are different venues to sell them via google search , If a person has a true unique book they might try bonazle .Use their free booth that charges a ending value fee only and is set up to use the google base feed . I have been buying books using my phone and scanner using neatoscan and baracoda lazer scanner. Saving money on bad buys pays for it

PLUS

I get out and stop at buying places more.

I am working on new website and Bonazle site.

Plus a big annual Missions conference at my church I am the food guy along with the Big Fat Little Guy.( my not so alter ego) Lots of needy and underprivileged and workers get some love. IT IS FUN !!!!!!!!!

From a post I posted on a chat room today.

I agree, but as one man bands (one person operations ) Time is the most valuable asset, I think both isbn look ups and scanners and gut instinct ,experience come into play .

Cash flow keeps you in business unless working with LARGE AMOUNT of capitol. If I can decide at the source the value of the book, I have saved VALUABLE time.
If i pick up a book that has a low rank and can turn in a few hours or days I have added cash flow. If pick up a book that my gut says No to, but the tool says yes and it is a $45.00 paperback for a couple of bucks both profit and cash flow win.

The main thing is I am OUT buying books cds etc to sell. might as well be efficient as I can be.

If you are only buying winners.You lose the experience factor

TRADE SECRET Do it all !Most will not!

When sources dry up find more , its what you do.In nearly 17 years of selling books I have helped or offered to help many peeps , Most never start ,some try it and find out it is work. Some succeed they would have with or without my free advice.

My work best practices is to never forget to do:
ONE : a small to do list with:
Number one item is: What will bring cash fast.

For me it is to source product and list it on sites that produce fast sell
For me it is Amazon ,then others .

Then long range projects , they are important AFTER $$$ are made for long term future to do Number One

For me it is website and blog development.

On the the to do list after making cash is to plan and enjoy family and friends

Mid Jan I got hit by a car ,while walking in a parking lot , very sore and bruised .A sore hand and knees etc.. Then last night during a ice storm ,my wife and I fell in our drive way .Nothing hurt but our pride. Between cussing and laughing we looked like the keystone cops.

My scanner look up system is working and making money . More later on that front.

I have my scanner(baracoda) ,device (htc touch pro) and service (neatoscan) up and running. Small problems mostly user error ( me)
I am finding a few books worth some bucks. Also enough quick turns that buy a couple of gallons of gas every time I scout ,yesterday 11 books today three. All listed ,one sold on Amazon .

This is not the way to Trump Towers but as spring sales and org(organization) sales. I should be able to make some bucks

It is work but again that is the deal.

Contact me if info needed. I did not choose cheapest but was a good fit for me. I have one device and wireless scanner to carry.

In the blogosphere I am old ,my adult kids think I am Old, my wife knows I am old, BUT I am not that old. I look twice at pretty women , I have a smart phone, I twitter @rrcowden, I blog.
Granted not always these things well. But I do them.

I like to work ,make money . I Love my wife and kids, I have faith in God . I think I have a responsibility to others all "old' fashioned ideas.

Lets just throw out the old bad habits, you know the ones that have been around since the Big Apple Bite.

Now where is that new app for my phone ? "Son can you come in here and straighten out this desk top .I down loaded one program four times ."

Now If I can get the Big Fat little Guy to roll over . That would be a new trick for him.

Not sure but I believe for a smart phone you need bluetooth and windows operating system for the programs to work . Different data providers support different windows mobile systems ie 5.0 6.0 and 6.1

You will need a either a socket scanner or a baracoda to support wireless scanner with the bluetooth feature

google neatoscan, asellertool mediascouter and scout pal or others to see there requirements cost etc. after narrowing down what you want and can afford .Call the companies , contact info on their sites

I tried mine this morning and it works but the fun thing was to find a twenty buck book ( say fast three time ) in my donation box yesterday playing with the equipment

If you are thinking about a scanner for a scouting tool:three decisions must be made
First what service (software}are you going to use.
Some are:
Neatoscan
Asellertool
Media scouter
Scout Pal
And I am sure others

Second a device to transmit to a cell phone or PDA axim hp ,windows mobile 5.0 up
I have windows mobile6.1 neatoscan supports it.

Third a scanner that is compatible to the first decision and second decision Socket and Baracoda ,maybe others .

Prices for service is forty to fifty a month. Most have referral programs where you get a free and referring party get a month free. Plus some have 2 week or so free trial .

I have signed up to use the 50 a month , Neatoscan. Set up customer service is GREAT I am waiting for scanner in mail today .

Cranberry Salsa

2 TBSP orange juice or sugar
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup minced green onion
2 TBSP chopped cilantro
1 tsp. ginger root ( or ground ginger)
1 jalapeno minced
salt to taste

Blend in food processor, serve with crackers, cream cheese or tortilla chips.

List one more book ,stop at one more yard sale ,plan on going early to an estate sale that advertises Books Books Books. If there is thrift on your way Stop. Look and listen,( they will some time tell when books are processed.)

Plan on going the good fol. Make sure you know times for early birds or patrons . Volunteer if you think it helps .
