Pam Farrel author of Woman of Confidence shared with us that 90% of women have negative thoughts of themselves. Whoa! Those statistics are startling, which is why she felt compelled to write this book.

It’s surprising to know that women suffer from some of the same fears no matter what the economic status.

Okay, I have to admit that I thought someone sent this book to me by mistake when I opened the package and read “Talking to the Dead.” I’m a Christian book reviewer for heaven’s sake, so naturally the first thing that came to my mind was conjuring up spirits from the underworld. After I had done a little research I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was in deed a Christian book after all.

Bonnie Grove is a Canadian and I enjoyed interviewing with her. This is her first novel but she is no amature when it comes to writing. Her first novel kept me up well into the night and it was finished in less the 24 hours.  Gorgeously written, well done Bonnie!

I had the awesome opportunity to interview Donnie McClurkin! Nervous is a gross understatement for the queasiness I felt at the beginning of the interview. However, Donnie put me at ease with his light-heartedness and sense of humor.

I was absolutely flattered when asked to interview novelist extraordinaire Alice J. Wisler, who keeps her readers comin’ back for more finger lickin’ southern fiction.

How Sweet It Is is Alice’s second book, which is a follow up to her first book Rain Song.

Alice shares some amazing stories regarding her background, the creation of her novels, and her journey to publication. She is an inspiration to not only myself but to other writers because of her perseverance.

I am excited about where God leads Alice on her journey as an author, I am confident He will continue to use her creativity, insight, and experience to equip her along the way. She has my support and prayers and I look forward to her returning to the show to discuss all her books to come.

In the economic crisis that we are currently in, when asked to interview Sue Augustine on her book Sanity Secrets for Stressed-Out Women, I knew that this would be one interview that would not only be beneficial to me but to my listeners as well.

It is often said that Christians shouldn’t get stressed out, but unfortunately we sometimes do. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of things that Christians should not do, but we find ourselves doing, for example, being in afraid, doubting, worrying, etc.

So quite naturally when I discovered that Sue had secrets tips to combat some of this stress I shouted for joy!
