Xiaomi is currently working on a bundle of new tablets, which might be called Mi Pad 5 Lite, Mi Pad 5 Plus, and Mi Pad 5 Pro. All of these tablets will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors and are expected to launch in May.

According to the report, the Mi Pad 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and will be backed by a 8,000mAh battery. It is being said that the device will have a skin, which is similar to the Mi Mix fold, with features like handheld PC mode, dual-screen drag and drop, parallel windows and more. Apart from this, the device is tipped to sport an 11-inch 2K LCD display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Mi may launch multiple other models of tablet with this.

The tipster claims that the Mi Pad 5 Lite is codenamed Nabu and has the model number K82. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 860 SoC and may pack a 12,400mAh battery. He also stated that this will feature a 12-megapixel main camera.

Xiomi has recently launched it's much awaited android tv box in India. With this device you can convert any regular Tv into an android tv which is be capable of running any type of application you throw at it. Basically it is live your android mobile which can run any application on it.

It can work with any HD, FHD or 4K tv. It has a 64 bit quad-core processor powering inside. Jio Launched new 251 data plan for Work From Home

Reliance jio has recently added a new data plan to its list. It is Rs 251 plan which gives you 2 GB/day for 51 days. However, it does not provide any voice benefits and is data only plan. It is basically added to help employees to work from home in this situation.

You don't need any pre-existing plan to recharge with this. It can be used as a standalone plan if you wish to have data only.

Recently, i came across this app on playstore, Payback. I found it to be useful, so i am sharing this with you.

Chandrayaan-2 is the second moon exploration mission after Chandrayaan-1. It was launched from second launchpad in Satish Dhavan Space centre on 22nd July 2019. The project is developed and operated by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). India will become the first country to land on the Far side of the Moon. Far side is that side of the moon that is always hidden from us due to Synchronous rotation of the moon.

The main objective of this launch is to demonstrate a soft-landing capability on the moon surface and operating rover on the surface. A successful landing will make India fourth country to be able to achieve a soft-landing on the surface of the moon. Scientific studies include lunar topography, mineralogy, elemental abundance etc.

10th Generation Intel Core processors Launched

Intel launched it's latest 10th generation of processors few days ago. These are code-named "Ice Lake" and are based on 10 nm fabrication. The processors will start shipping in coming months. There are lots of improvements over the previous generation from enhanced graphics to improved AI capabilities. As per the official news, 2 times graphics performance, 2.5 times accelerated AI performance and 3 times connectivity speeds are offered.

The processors are fabricated on 10 nm technology based on new"Sunny Cove" architecture with new Gen 11 graphics engine. Generation 10 processors will be available in all i3, i5 and i7 intel core processors. Coming to content creation capabilities, it can encode HEVC videos at 2 times faster rates, supports 4K HDR content and two times faster frame rates in games.

In terms of connectivity, it has integrated Thunderbolt 3 and intel Wifi 6 which gives nearly 3 times wifi speeds in terms of downloads. See the official tweet below for more information..

Netflix has launched an all new subscription plan for users. It is the cheapest plan right now. It costs Rs. 199/month but it comes with a whole lot of limitations, to be honest.

You can watch content on mobile phone or tablet only. Although you can get around this by using screen mirroring to watch on your smart TV but not every device will be able to that because there may be copyrighted content lock . You cannot watch content in HD, only SD content is available. You will get access to unlimited movies and TV shows to stream online. One more thing is that only one screen is available at a time, i.e. you cannot watch content on two screens at the same time.

So, overall it is great for you, if you watch lots of movies and TV shows on your smartphone.

Today, we will be talking about how you can use google maps to navigate without any internet connectivity. Nowadays google maps has become essential for us commute from one place to another. But we all come across one problem i.e. connectivity is not same everywhere. Some have no connectivity at all. So, let's see how we can solve this.

STEPS:-

1. Switch ON your smartphone GPS. Now, open the app and choose your starting point as 'Your location'.

2. Now enter your destination.

3. After that search for the route which will be shown as below.

4. Now just click on start and it will start navigating with your real-time location.

5. Now you don't need to care about internet. Just let open your smartphone's GPS and it will work fine without any problems. As now on the whole navigation will be done through GPS only since route information is already downloaded to your device.

The only thing is that re-routing of maps in case of any wrong path taken, requires internet connectivity.

Mi TV in-depth Comparison: How does it fares against Sony, Samsung and LG

Xiomi launched the Mi TV series in India sometime ago. After that it took the market by storm. All big brands such as Sony, Samsung and LG were stunned. They feared about their market share. But did Xiomi was really successful? What is the Quality you are getting in that money? Earlier Sony was considered the king in TV segment with it's awesome picture quality and sound. Still some people consider that Sony is the best and they hesitate to go for Xiomi.

The first thing in a TV is obviously, the Display. The display in this one is FHD i.e. 1080P. Considering, the display size it is sufficient. The display panels used in this TV, is actually made by Samsung. Shocked? You can verify it on Mi global website. So, on display, it is as good as Samsung TV and Samsung is considered the master of displays. The AMOLED tech is Samsung's patented technology and right now used in top notch smartphones and TVs. So, hope I cleared you in this section. So, now let's move on to another.

The another important thing in TV, is the sound. It has 20W speakers which is not good, i would say. Generally, TVs rarely have good speakers. The sound is loud and clear but there is no sub-woofer for punchy bass. That's a drawback, but considering the pricing you can accept that and buy a soundbar instead. Only Sony TVs provide best sound in TVs but why would you pay 20k-30k extra just for sound. I have previously posted a review on Mi Soundbar earlier, you can see it here, CLICK HERE. You can see that for reference. Moreover, you can even buy JBL Soundbar in this price. So, let's get to next section.

Features come in the next section and here Xiomi beats every other TV out there. At this price, you get an android TV which no company out there can give in this price. Sony android TVs start at around 55K which is really expensive. You can even make your old TV a smart TV using, Amazon Fire TV Stick. The processor used in this is Amologic's 64 bit Quad-core processor which is very capable and sufficient here because you don't use TVs for playing games and multi-tasking. TVs are mostly used for streaming online content such as videos only. If you want to play games, don't go for this. Since, it runs on android you will be able to install any app out there directly from play store which is very convenient. The TV has 1 GB of ram and 8 GB of internal storage. So, you can only install limited number of apps which are not very demanding. Moreover, not every app is made to be compatible to TVs, so you need to see if that app can run on TV. It has support for 2.4 Ghz Wifi and Bluetooth 4.2 which is great. Other important thing is, it comes with built-in Chromecast support. So, you can easily mirror you TV and send content videos and pictures to watch on big screen. It also supports voice search on remote with Google's voice assistant. Moreover, it comes with Patchwall which is artificial intelligence-based system which learns about user entertainment habits and prefers content to watch next accordingly.

Coming to ports, it has 3-HDMI ports, 2-USB ports, Ethernet port and usual AV input port and 3.5 mm audio jack to connect external speakers. For installation, you either place it on surface or mount on wall easily. It has a thin profile which makes it even better to mount.

This Government App Can Help you Identify Fake Cosmetic and Food Products.

Recently, Government has launched a new app that allows you to identify fake or counterfeit products. The Department of Consumer Affairs in-association with Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is providing this information through an app made by a non-profit organisation, GS1.
Generally, for FMCG products we rely on information provided on the package such as price, manufacturing date, expiry date, certification etc. But these information may not necessarily be correct, right? So, with this app you can see and verify the information provided. Moreover, if the product description does not match at all, the product might be fake. So, let's see how to use it.

Download the Smart Consumer app by GS1 from playstore or apple store.
Scan the product Barcode printed on the back using the app.
If the barcode-scan fails, enter the GTIN of the product (GTIN is number written near the barcode)
After scanning, it will display the exact information of the product
Information like price, manufacturing date, FSSAI license etc. will be shown
If the information is not shown, then maybe information is not provided by the manufacturer or it is fake
to verify this, by another pack of the same exact product from another shop and if this time information is displayed correctly, then previous one is fake

This app is useful in identifying the correct information of a product in case someone has the packaging or the sticker. Moreover, the market is currently flooding with counterfeit products, so it is good habit to verify authenticity before using the product.
You can also register a complaint about the product using this app. The app is still under beta-stage may not work as expected for now. With further updates and development, it will become more usable. But we should praise the government that at-least a step is taken in this regard.

Huawei launched a new tablet in India, Mediapad T5. It comes with a 10.1 inch display, an octa-core processor and dual stereo speakers. This will be the only offering in tablet segment by Huawei.

Verdict:- Overall it is a very good smartwatch. It is cheapest smartwatch available in market right now. The design is very eye-catchy and very much resembles Apple watch. It tracks steps, running , distance covered accurately. I am not sure about workout. It comes with trans-reflective display which makes it easier to read under direct sunlight. So, if you don't like fitness bands or looking to buy a smartwatch, you can go with it.
