While cruising around my favorite shoe websites today I came across some amazing booties and boots from Nine West. Don’t even think about putting away your boots because spring is almost here! Even more reason to rock boots now because you have even more ways to wear boots with the weather warming up. One of the sexier booties had to be the Rashelle because of the studded detail, the sultry slits and the adorable peep toe! In black, brown or red suede, my fav was the red cause I thought they would be perfect for spring!

There were lace-up ankle boots galore at the Balmain Spring 2010 RTW fashion show. My eyes are fixated, of course, on these amazing sexy yet tough luxe boots. It’s the extra touch that really make the boots stand out - double buckle, extra long lace, fold collar. They will instantly sexify any outfit… party dress or cargo pants, it doesn’t matter. When it comes to Balmain boots, one can only expect the best! Sold out at most shops but I’m happy to say that there are still some sizes left at Luisaviaroma.

I can’t emphasize enough on the abundance of boot options for spring. People often think that boot season is over as soon as spring approaches. Well, not us bootistas! We don’t treat boots as seasonal items, for us, it’s just a matter of finding the right boots for each season. Cutout boots are perfect for spring & summer. For example, open toe booties are excellent transitional shoes going from winter to spring. Wedge and lace up boots are also very cool. And how can I forget those amazing platform booties? Say no to sweat with wonderful perforated boots. See, there are endless options!

Some of the cutout boots can also pass for light sandals that we even pack for a beach vacation. Particularly cutout flat boots are hugely versatile. You can wear them with leggings, shorts, a tube dress, they go with almost everything. The interesting combo look of a sandal & boot is my spring staple.
