Aubin Thomas knows a thing or two about history. As Director of Public Affairs at Victoria Mansion, Aubin deals with educating the masses on a daily basis. On episode 6 of BootyHaul, Aubin explains why Victoria Mansion is a must-see for residents and visitors of Portland. What does that have to do with money? Well, clearly you have to have some money if you want to build a damn mansion.

Also discussed in this episode is Aubin’s rapidly expanding mug collection, her interest in pre-1990s etiquette books and the never-ending debate of carrying cash versus plastic. A fascinating highlight is mention of Aubin’s hand-written log of expenses, organized by date. Can you imagine keeping track of every single purchase, from what it is to how much you paid for it? Yeah, me neither.

By day, Sierra Roberts is a stylist at Bang Cut & Color. By night, she fronts Portland punk band The Outfits along with Anna and former BootyHaul guest Kate Sullivan-Jones. On this episode, Sierra talks about her guitar-decoupaging skills, aversion to guitar-related gear and music store anxiety. When she’s not busy snipping stranger’s locks or rocking out onstage, Sierra maintains a love for hand-spun yarn, vintage sewing patterns and taxi cabs. An avid reader of juicy romance novels, episode 5 gets a little racy when Sierra decides to share one of her favorite passages.
