A few months ago I had the chance to try the Melie Bianco Alexis Eyelet And Studs Flap Over Carryall in black. You can see the complete review HERE. This is a very elegant and classy looking bag that has short handles to carry it in your arm or hands and a long adjustable/ removable strap to use the bag on your shoulders.

The bag that features a very deep berry (red) color and that is decorated with gold color metal accents is great for any day time attire, and if you need it to be more formal simply remove the strap for a more chic look.

The bag is lined with a fun gold and brown polka dot sateen fabric in the inside that gives the bag a really nice and playful contrast. In the inside you will also find a middle section zippered pocket as well as another side zippered pocket in one of the sides. On the opposite side, you will find two smaller slip in type of pockets that are perfect for your cell phone and keys or any small devices you might have. The handbag is nicely made and with quality materials, a makes a really nice addition to any wardrobe!

Window Boxes.

My daughter loves flowers and she has asked to have her own garden…..Living in a condo, that is a hard thing to have, but we promised her she can have her little garden and got her a flower box. It is one we can set up in our balcony and in which she can grow her little garden….I must add that selecting the flower box was not an easy task as there are some really adorable options and we wanted to make sure she got something she would be able to work with and be part of the décor at the same time. I found that Window Box Planters have a really nice selection of Flower boxes.

I especially like the wooden window boxes, but quickly realized that she was a lot better with something simpler. I found a few different options that would be a lot better for us and I especially liked the Wrought Iron Small Solera Window Box Planters with Coco Liner and the Wrought Iron Small Finial Window Box Planters with Coco Liner.

I still have to make up my mind about the flower box so my little girl can have her own little flower garden in our balcony……So I guess it is a matter of seeing which of the styles goes better with our decoration and will work best for the little one and for myself. Both of the options I like seem to have the qualities I need, so either way I will be getting a cute tiny taste of nature in my balcony.

I found their website a few weeks ago and I was very interested in trying their Miracle vest ControlFit Shape wear line….If you have been following this blog, you will probably know that I am always very interested in this kind of product. Not only because of the obvious shaping benefits, but also because of the fact that some of these products provide really nice back support and that is something I am always interested in.

What is the Squeem Control Fit technology? A breakthrough fabric technology made of a unique mix of cotton and natural rubber fused into a thin, single layer, compressive fabric…… The material feels unlike any other product of this kind I have tried before and I have to be honest, when I first saw the product and touched it, I expected it to be uncomfortable, but the reality is that the piece is a lot more comfortable than what I have expected.

One thing I have to say is that this line is really tight and if you are between sizes, I will recommend going with the bigger size or you might find the Miracle vest too tight to even be able to wear (the vest has two different closure positions, so you can make a bit tighter if needed). You will be able to see an immediate result on the way your clothes fit and look on you as I was able to get a really nice shape as soon as the vest was on. You will lose waist inches as soon as your vest is on and I can tell you the huge difference you will see while wearing the vest.

One other thing I was concerned with was that since the material is so thick it would make you sweat a lot and feel uncomfortable, but truth be told that is not the case at all. I do find the vest a little uncomfortable under the arms, so to avoid that I use a really short tops I have ( they are just long enough to go a little under the breast , so they are the perfect length and work great for me). One other thing that I was concerned about was the vest rolling up and so far that has not happened. I do have to say that the vest is a bit longer than what I have wanted to be.

I have found this product to be a great help for my back, especially now that I am back to work and spending long hours on my feet. Over all the Vest is a great product that helps me achieve exactly what I needed it to……The Squeem products are available in selected retailers including Walgreens!

Joovy Zoom 360 Jogging Stroller- Review

I have tried many different stroller brands and designs, but I have been really looking forward to trying a specific brand and design to see what all the buzz about the Joovy Zoom 360 is all about. Joovy is an American company with facilities in Dallas, Texas and Orange County, California, and they offer family gear products that have premium features and use vibrant, high quality fabrics and materials. The product catalog includes high chairs, play yards, toys, and of course their stroller line.

The Joovy Zoom 360 is made from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and 600D fabric for tough use…..The quality and attention to detail on the stroller was the first thing that I noticed, closely followed by the design that makes this stroller a must have for jogging parents. One of the mistakes I made when I had the ladybug was the lack of exercise and that is exactly one mistake that I am not planning on repeating.

The Joovy Zoom 360, gives you the tool to keep a healthy routine while spending time with your little one. That works out perfectly even if you do not have someone to take care of your little bundle. The recommended age for starting to use the Zoom 360 is six months.

The stroller has a great suspension, actually one of the best I’ve have been able to test so far which provides the kids with a comfortable ride while allowing the parents to enjoy their jog.

The Zoom 360 jogging stroller has an oversized canopy which is a really big plus for parents like me that live in sunny places like Florida….A big canopy is great to keep the little one’s protected from all kinds of weather conditions , but because I live in Florida, I am always looking for extra sun protection.

Setting up is relatively easy (I was able to do it all by myself). The zoom is available in two different modalities, the Zoom ATS (fixed front wheel for serious runners), and the 360 for beginners like myself ….The 360 swivel front wheel version provides you with maximum maneuverability. The Zoom 360's swivel wheel can lock in a straight position giving the user a long, stable wheelbase when you run, or walk on long straight paths. This I must add is one of my favorite features and a handy one when strolling along the parks.
Another great perk of the Zoom 360 is the neoprene parent organizer that holds 2 cups and has a zippered container, plus a rain/wind cover that's custom made for the Zoom. All parents know how important these containers can be when you are outside the house and need to have your hands free. Storage is one of the big sellers for me in a stroller, along with the security, comfort and quality and Joovy ranked pretty high in my list for all of those points.

The Zoom 360 has an extra wide seat for a very comfortable ride that includes mesh pockets for toys, gear, and anything you need to have in hand while strolling along. Multi-position reclining seat with extra high ride height with a maximum Child Weight: 75 lbs, this stroller can be used for a long time! The stroller also features a 5-point harness with reflective stitching.

There are a couple of things to consider when you are looking at this stroller. The main purpose of the Zoom 360 is jogging and it is great for that purpose. If you are looking for an everyday stroller, go to the store stroller, please note, that the Joovy zoom 360 has a long body, which might be a little difficult to maneuver when in small or crowded places. If there was something I could change on the stroller, that would probably be the handle height which is not adjustable. Other than that, this stroller is great and a must have for the active parent who likes to go for a jog while taking their little one along for the ride.

Nutrisystem.......Getting Back in Shape Week 26

As you might remember, I went on a family vacation a few days ago…..We all went on a cruise and I have to say that it was lots of fun, not only that, but it was nice spending quality time with the family (we didn’t take any computers with us), so I am a bit behind on work, but it was worth it!

So for our vacation, the whole family (14 members) went on the Allure of the Seas cruise ship and for those who does not know it is the biggest cruise ship there is……It has LOTS of restaurants, so I Knew my Nutrisystem program was in danger and I made sure to pack at least one meal worth (I brought with me the trail mix bars…LOVE THEM)! So I did the best I could under the circumstances, it is hard to follow a diet when the rest of the family is insisting you try this…..And that, so even though I tried to stick to my have at least one Nutrisystem meal….I ended up gaining 4 pounds.

What I did after I got back home and got on the scale was to go in a strict nutrisystem only meals and did not eat anything but what I have planned for the week. As a result I am back to the same weight I had right when I went on vacation and was able to lose all four pounds!

One thing I’ve realized is that after being in the program, my body does not take unhealthy food kindly, so even when I get out of the program, I can truly say that Nutisystem has changed the way I eat. And I am so happy it did! So to stick to my regimen, I planned every meal, skipped desserts and only drank 0 calories beverages and water.

Comments Issues.

Blogger changed the way their comments were (to threaded comments). If you use the threaded comments, it allows the "load more" to show at the bottom to load all of the comments but no numbered comments. if you don't use the threaded comments and use the numbers, you can't load all of the comments that are embedded.....So as you all can imagine this makes selecting winners a lot more complicated!
My blog designer has been working to try to find a way to get the numbered comments working properly, so please bear with me.

I was given the opportunity to try two of the Kranich’s bracelets : The Stylish Silver Diamond and Black Steel Bracelet which features black steel with silver accents and .05 carat total weight diamonds. The bracelet is very simple yet beautifully made and designed…This is the kind of piece you can wear with basically anything you choose. The bracelet is available in three different colors( silver, gold and of course the black….They also have a pink one that has a different design with accents, but it is also really nice). I decided to go with the black and I am so happy I did as the black and silver combination is perfect.

The bracelet is more on the small side which works great for me because I have really small writs. The bracelet features a silver lobster closure. The craftsmanship on the piece is impeccable. ….The three silver accents are still in the position they were placed (perfectly distanced from each other). The bracelet has a retail price of 120.00 and looks great in groups of two or more. The diamonds are not really big but the whole bracelet looks really nice.

Kranich’s also offers a different design in the same line and that was my second review. That item was the Black Stainless Steel Bracelet Black and White Diamonds. While the bracelet is in the same line, the design is really different as the closure on the bracelet is actually the decorative element that resembles a horse shoe and a hook is the finishing piece and the way to close the bracelet…..I have to say that I feel that there is a little “ flaw” in the design because the bracelet gets “ unhooked” fairly easily and I have found the bracelet opened a few times. The good thing is that since the bracelet is kind of small and the stainless cord used for the bracelet is kind of shaped in such a way that even if it opens up, the bracelet stays on your wrist….In order to take off your bracelet, you will pretty much have to pull it off.

The silver /white and the two different color diamonds make this bracelet a must have for anyone. I have been wearing both bracelets ever since I received them and they look just as they did the first day I put them on….I am actually planning on adding some other pieces to my collection including a silver one!

Nelson Technologies offers 2 different iPhone cases: the Milano and the fusion. I opted for the Milano which, in my opinion, is a more elegant design. There are different styles and colors in the Milano line and I decided to try the Milano - Black Woven case.
As I mentioned, the case is really nicely made, but the really neat feature on the phone case is the
- 2,200 mAh lithium polymer SaFPWR smart battery. Rechargeable for over 500 cycles, the Intelligent energy management technology (EMT) that according to Nelson Technology increases iPhone run time by more than 200%......If you have a smart phone, you will agree with me that the biggest problem they have is the battery life time, that honestly can be very frustrating , so a case that can increase the battery life is certainly very welcome.
The case has a folio design with magnetic closure and while the case is a bit heavier than ordinary cases, it still is very light weight. Made with high quality leather, the case has openings for iPhone charge port, microphone, speaker, camera, and proximity sensor.
The very first thing you want to do is to charge the case which charges through a USB cable that can be plugged in to your computer. At the bottom you will find an off and on button and a little light that will stay red till the battery is charged, then the light turns off. The case fits perfect and not only is the phone protected, has an extended battery life, but it also looks great and as I mentioned before very elegant.
The case is a great tool for any iPhone 4 user that is looking to improve the battery life and keep their phone in mint condition! The case retails for 99.95 and is available in different designs and colors.

Nutrisystem.......Getting Back in Shape Week 25

As I promised, I want to give you some more information on the new items added to the Nutrisystem Success program. As I mentioned before they have changed the packaging and have included new items to their menu….My favorite new item is without a doubt the protein shakes! I am very picky when it comes to shakes and it has been really hard for me to add them to any diets, but I have found that the Nutrisystem shakes are not only easy to make, but they are very easy to drink (no yucky after taste here).

Along with the shake, they included some new breakfast items like the Chocolate Frosted Donut yum! But the really new big additions to the program are the chef-inspired, fresh-frozen cuisine which includes an amazing selection of restaurant like food. Just like the rest of the Nutrisystem food, the chef-inspired, fresh-frozen cuisine is very easy to make and even easier to eat.

The delicious selections feature items such as the Chef's Table™ Adobo Rubbed Pork which was my dinner last night and I have to say it was delicious; the pork was really well made and tender! Plus the whole dish was really good. I do recommend that when possible to use the oven instead of the microwave for an even better food experience.

This week I will be out of the country and planning to bring my Nutrisystem Trail Mix Bar for lunch ( I am completely hooked to them)! I also need to say that as of today I have lost a total of 20 pounds and for the first time in a long time I am looking forward to relaxing by the pool and wear a bathing suit. I have also mentioned how picky I am and how my shoes need to be comfortable ….In a perfect world, shoes will all be soft and cushiony, but I know better than to know that is not true, especially when we are talking about high heels and work shoes.

I was given the chance to try one of their products for review and after taking a look at their online catalog and falling in love with a few of their designs, I couldn’t help but to pick a coat for myself…..Although I was really torn between getting the coat for me or the ladybug (they have the same design for girls). I was a little selfish and got the coat for me this time…..Sorry buggy!

The coat is absolutely gorgeous and even though it says on their site it is light weight, I did not expect it to be as light weight as it really is!

The Tan Leopard coat by Vintage Couture features an extra light very soft to the touch fabric. The coat features black faux fur cuffs and three beautiful black bling buttons in the front (a fourth button is sent in case you lose one of the buttons). I think these items give a really nice touch to the jacket.

I wore the coat to a holiday dinner just the other night and wore it as a compliment to a black pant and top and looked amazing......Actually I received compliments on the coat from people I didn’t even know! The attention to detail and craftsmanship is impeccable and to add a fun and colorful detail, the jacket is lined with a beautiful red color fabric that only shows if the jacket is unbuttoned.

The coat is perfect for those days that it is cold enough that you need something extra to keep you warm without needing a heavy jacket or coat. The coat can be dressed up or dressed down as it looks awesome with tight jeans and leggings.

The retail price on the coat is 146.00 for the misses sizes that goes from XS- XXL and from 104.00 to 112.00 for the girls with available sizes from 12M to 7-14!
