Yes, I am still here. I’ve been sick and therefore did not have much to talk about.

I figure that griping about being sick is not enjoyable to others, let alone to me since I have to type it in. Feeling better and hoping to have stuff to blab about later.

Have you ever heard of something, checked it out and then wished that you could have the money to afford it?

Try this word - filet mignon. I checked it out and immediately wanted to have some really great beef to eat. I do not care how it is fixed, too much. I just want to eat some beef.

Roast beef, hamburger, stew, pot roast, sloppy joes, you name it. Right now that would taste to good, it makes my mouth water. Of course filet mignon is one of the best cuts with a lot of flavor. YUM!

I have known for a long time that the Amish up in the North East of the USA would make furniture. I have also herd that they manufacture refrigerators and stuff.

Now I have found out that they also make Amish gazebos. One thing that i have heard is that those things are quality made and not known to have problems.

Makes me wish that we did not live in an apartment, so we could get one of our own. It would be nice to be able to sit outside in a gazebo and watch people go by and be comfortable at the same time. Maybe one of these days it can happen.

I know, deep subject, do drop in.

At least I’ve heard that before. The economy is on everybody’s mind these days. I do not blame them. If you are starting a new business and want unsecured business loans you need to find someone who is willing.

If you already have a business and want to make it grow, you also have to make sure that there are customers out there for what you are selling. It ain’t easy. A lot of hard work is usually what is needed. I know from personal experience that this won’t happen over night, or without some work. I just wish that there was an easier way to have opportunities to have some money in the bank. After all is that not what most of us are in need of?

New Year, same stuff

Sounds grumpy does it not?

Well, I thought that since the year has changed that some things would change, like the weather.

I won’t think about politics, that is always full of stuff that is not wanted. However, the weather would need to change if it is truly winter, wouldn’t it? I don’t really know, but the weather here is Texas is sometimes rather warm for January. Then there are the few and far between times where it actually gets cold.

I have been living here in Texas for over 20 years and I still miss snow. When it shows up here it does not last long, but at least I get to look at it.

Hey, I’ve Got It !

I finally figured it out.

With the cold that has been bugging me, I don’t have to worry about strange scents. That means is I get involved in using welding supplies I do not have to worry about the stinkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Yes, I meant to use that many ‘k’s.

When I was working in the machine shop and the welder was using his machine, sometimes there were some very nasty smells that came out of his working area. I know that it was not him passing gas, but still it made me want to work in another area.

Of course with the cold bugging me, I myself, make a lot of strange noises. Oh well….

Moan, Snurf

Did I say snurf?

YES I DID !! That is one of the disgusting noises that seem to come out of my mouth and my head when I try to breathe normally.

Head colds are NOT any fun. I feel tired, grumpy, disgusted, messy, grumpy, stopped up, and grumpy. A grizzly bear would run from me. Even I would run, but I would follow any way.

I had no idea what to call this article, I actually have nothing to say.

We spent New Years day at church, had a blast, did a lot of talking, singing, worshiping.
We ate, had fun (yes, at church of all things).

The new year has not really begun. Neither has winter. Cool sometimes, cold a few others, no snow (thank God). We do need the severe cold to slow down the fire ants, though. Do not need any frozen pipes, or slick roads.

Life goes on otherwise.

Good Sunday

Yesterday our church had a hay ride. It was taken a little late in the day, but everyone had an awesome time. I heard a lot of singing, heard a lot of laughter, and on top of it all also heard a lot of giggling.

This giggling came from some of the people over 50. A lot of the people in the neighborhood where we were passing by singing, called out Merry Christmas and they seemed to like the idea of strangers serenading them from a trailer. Fun

Today at church, good message, singing, a new singer who played the guitar, and then later after we had eaten and had service, we exchanged presents. Nothing expensive, just little things and again, smiles, laughter, giggling, and a fun time.

I wish that you could enjoy the gathering together of friends, family and others and have the chance to enjoy love from those around you, too.
