I remember when I was interested in paternity testing. Of course a lot of time has passed by since then and now I find that I am not worried about such as that.

I used to want to get pregnant, but have sine recognized that is was a good thing that I didn’t achieve that. I happen to be over 50, now. I have diabetes and other things are happening. Now, if I was younger and didn’t have such health problems, it would be different.

Life happens. You either survive it or you don’t. I have survived.

Coming Up

Well, next month we have doctors’ appointments coming up along with lab work. I am not looking forward to the lab work since it means getting a hole in my arm. YUK

I do not know many who look forward to getting that done. I am just glad that I do not have to go get lab work Tampa FL id s long way to go.

Used to live in Florida, but near Tampa. I had lived near Palm Beach Florida. Interesting, but right now I live in Texas.

Yes, it is time to think about heat.

The party time of cool weather has passed for now, and I will miss it. At least we have air conditioning. I do not know who invented that wonderful use of air, but I really do appreciate it and its use.

Music is important

It has taken me a while to understand that music is important. It can be used to soothe someone who is unhappy. It can be used to help illustrate movies and get you in the mood.

Music is important.

What I wonder is how people repair some of their instruments. Think about it. If you need a piano hinge for the lid on your piano,, where do you go to get it? I know about guitar strings, but pianos? Think about it.

Gave a Ride

The other day my husband and I gave a ride to a young man who was using crutches.

It was part of what I had learned about “Random Acts of Kindness”. He left with a smile on his face that was glorious. We do not know his name, that was NOT important.

That smile was VERY important.

Cigars

I have been learni8ng something about cigars.

First, I found out that my husband used to smoke cigars. He used to try some of the brands from Cuba, but the embargo stopped that, plus they were pretty expensive.

Now I learn that cigars also come from The Dominican Republic. I do not know if they produce something that smells like chocolate or not. All that I have learned is that cohiba cigars is almost like saying cigar cigars. The word cohiba used to mean cigars.

Well, I guess that people can learn something most every day. Me I would rather have a good chocolate bar any day. Chocolate….YUM!

Speakers

My husband recently had some stuff given to him.

One of the thi9ngs given was a speaker that he could use with his electronic stuff. Yes, stuff, he has a lot of things that I do not understand. I had mentioned to him that speakers can be found in a lot of places. He hadn’t heard of JBL speakers, so I looked them up. Some of those things are very impressive.

I never knew that there were so many types of speakers, woofers (what ever those are), and other things. No wonder musicians want to make so much money. They have to pay for their equipment.

Well, life goes on.

Medicines can help you in your daily life, and sometimes they can hinder you. I recently had a change happen with one of my medicines. The one I would take for pain (which I only took when needed) started to cause some serious side effects.

I stopped taking it and have now started to get normal feelings again. The medicine is Ultram (a.k.a tramadol). I realize that everyone is affected in a different manner. I had been taking this medicine for a while, like over a year. I recently noticed that my eyes would not focus properly and I would see double images and sometimes get dizzy ,too. Since I have stopped this medicine, things are starting to get back to normal. The medicine is a good one, but each person reacts individually. My husband is a good example of that since he is allergic to over 30 different things. Some are medicines, some are foods that he is allergic to. So, make sure that you check with your doctor if you notice something that is not right and talk to the doc to make sure what to do.

Patio

Right now, where we live we have two porches.

One front porch that is better than nothing, and a back porch that does not have enough room. If I could, I would expand them into patios that have outdoor ceiling fans, and screens for sitting and enjoying the outside.

The bugs eat us up right now, and screens would be wonderful, and the idea of fans overhead to give a breeze….Heavenly.

The main thi9ng that I do not life about being outside is the lack of enough breeze, and the invasion of bugs. For some reason, mosquitoes seem to interfere just when they are not wanted.

I Listened

Today I woke up and listened to my husband playing on the guitar and singing along with some of his favorite music on the stereo.

His singing is unique. The cats appreciate the guitar playing, but do not want to listen to his singing. Oh well, he is pretty cool otherwise. I do not know exactly what brand of guitar it is that he uses, but seems to take the punishment pretty well. It has been banged on the door jam, and a few other areas. It still sounds like a pretty good guitar in spite of things. Parker makes guitars, but right now the one that my husband has is doing good. One of these days I will look into other brands that might be available. Time to go back to sleep and dream about being serenaded, again.
