A community of book lovers coming together to read and have fun and make connections.</p><p>But like all good things, it's time for Bout of Books to end.</p><p>This has been coming for a long while. The number of people participating every time has steadily decreased, especially with the decline on Twitter, and neither of us has the time or capacity to give the read-a-thon the energy it requires.</p><p>What we've created in the Bout of Books community is important and valuable. And while we're not looking to pass the torch to someone else, we do want to <a href="https://discord.gg/MSu4WBgM77" target="_blank">keep our discord open</a> so that even after this August iteration is over, you can still connect with other readers.</p><p>At its core, Bout of Books became carving out any little bit of time to read, together, and I hope everyone uses the discord with the same intent.
