June is just a hop, skip, and a jump around the corner and soon it will be time to honor those special men in our lives — Dad! He does so much for us. Now is our time to give him a special day. Start out with a special hand made card to show him how much he means to you. Materials Used: Image – Lili of the Valley – Dad’s the Word Sentiment – Cut from a piece of the Designer Paper. Cardstock – Xpress It Blending Card; Papertrey Ink Smokey Shadow Designer Paper – Echo Park – Times & Seasons Ribbon – 1/2 inch black grosgrain Paper Piercing Tool; Sewing Machine; circle punches Copic Markers Mini Bowdabra Mini Bowdabra Hairbow Tool And Ruler Double-sided Tape Glue Dots Instructions: 1. This Father’s Day make a homemade gift for dad to show him how special he is. This DIY gift idea is simple, easy, and great for all ages. Design a key holder for dad with an inspirational message glued onto the front. Materials Needed: •Mini Bowdabra® •Bowdabra® Bow Wire •12” Ruler with holes •1/8” Ribbon •3/8” Ribbon •3 Lanyard Hooks Instructions: 1. Using 1/8” wide ribbon attach 3 lanyard hooks to the ruler. 2. Attach 3/8” wide ribbon to each end of the ruler to use as a hanger. 3. To make the bow for the key holder: Cut a 24” piece of Bowdabra Bow Wire and fold it in half. Lay it into the Mini Bowdabra. You’ll have a loop at one end and two loose pieces at the opposite end. 4. Lay your ribbon into the Mini Bowdabra. Decide how big you want your loops.
