I suck

My first games in decades bowled without a wrist support. I needed to take the brace off to keep it from nearly hooking off the lane.

Nice.

I had one of the biggest excuses for bad bowling out there tonight, returning basically a year removed from a cellulitis infection that cost me my full season last season, and I hadn't so much as thrown a practice ball down these lanes in the interim because I know the lane maintenance habits of the current management (the place is about to change hands for the 2nd time in a decade). Yet, I still almost made my 500. I did feel good physically, and that was all I cared about tonight. The bowling will come back to me in time, and, given tonight, I may even be a little bit ahead of schedule.

Never commented at the time, but I ended up taking 3rd place in the only division in the tournament that paid three spots, so I was very happy with my performance.

I earned a Triplicate!!!!

Wall is right next to lane 1. Forced to play straight.

Started with the Desert Tank then switched to the Fatal Venom for games 2,3, and 8 frames in game 4. Switched back to the Tank at the end.

May have been my best spare game night ever. I was struggling first ball, but pretty much every spare I made felt good off my hand.

Need to work on all spare shooting - very inconsistent... learn where to target for most common spares

Lost track of game statistics - unable to log 1/3 games - shot a 148
