Could you also buy Amazon gift card from say Walmart with AMEX Blue preferred to get 6% back. This would mean up to $60 a month. What do you think?

I'm 71 and have shopped at Krogers in Houston TX and Katy TX and have received a 10% senior discount on Kroger-brand products since I was 55. Maybe Be doesn't realize that employee discount and senior discount are the same?? Here in Texas we get a Kroger card when we turn 55 and the cashier scans it when we check out.

Kohl's is also pretty cool. You guys clearly know about their awesome savings - but Kohl's Cares supports environmental issues, kids' health and education, and women's health. They also have an initiative to encourage employee volunteering.

While I acknowledge that American Apparel is good in that they make their clothes in this country and supports equality...they and their CEO are definitely not the bastion of inclusiveness with a pretty bad record of sexism in their practices and advertising.

Hi Brad,

First of all, I love the book and my husband and I are planning on using credit card points/miles to fly are family of four from the west coast to the east coast to visit family this summer. Which cards would you recommend applying for to accomplish this? I did see that southwest gives 50k points for their crefit card so I'm wondering if I should combine that one with one of the ones on your list. Any feedback would be vety helpful.

Also, with all the cards you sign up for, you must end up paying quite a bit in annual fees, is there a way around that?

Thanks,
Heather
