Ryan Gosling's First Crush Was Raquel Welch?

I was scrolling through YT Shorts and stumbled on the clip below of actor Ryan Gosling being interviewed and was being asked who was his first celebrity crush that he remembers.

Gosling reaches way back to when he was just a kid watching a rerun of The Muppet Show (that's a link to their YouTube channel) and sheepishly admitted to being surprised at how hot he found Raquel Welch's appearance as she danced with a Muppet spider episode 11 during the show's 3rd season which originally aired in November 1978.

Gosling wasn't born until 1980, so he was enjoying a repeat as Kermit, Ms Piggy and the gang were well into syndication by Ryan's youthful eyes locked onto the icon's dancing ability.

Anyway, take a look at Gosling's interview and the you can follow that up with the Muppet segment with Raquel Welch so you can see what all the hubbub was about.

Facebook Marketplace: Rent Out Washers and Dryers For 10K A Month?

Facebook is not the platform I use much anymore as, to me and others, it became the domain of parents, grandparents and that one loopy aunt who sells crystals and frequently gives (unasked for) "political insights".

BUT Zuckerberg's baby is a massive website with tons and tons of visitors despite my earlier comments.

And I've noticed more and more videos and articles about this "Facebook Marketplace" and how it can develop from a short term "make money quick" thing to an actual business.

There are a few other options from Facebook but this Marketplace thing seems like it could be developing some critical mass.

First question: Who's making a lot of money with Facebook Marketplace?

This one channel that I always seem to cross paths with is called the Koerner Office Podcast and the channel posts continuously, having uploaded 700-plus in one year with a bunch being snappy, viral YouTube Shorts.

This video, posted August 3, 2025 by the good folks over at Koerner Office, is called "The Most Overlooked $10K/M Business Anyone Can Start" and that's kinda like a title that will make you do a double-take.

"YOU CAN MAKE $10,000 A MONTH ON FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE?"

"Well yeah. That guy Kyler in the video did it. Maybe you can too if you keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut and you might learn something."

"You sound like my mom. So where's the video?"

Despite being over half an hour in length, the video flew by for me. Something like this would go over in lots of larger towns and cities. There are lots of opportunities to rent stuff relatively cheaply compared to outright buying the item.

Its like cars can be purchased outright if you have the cheddar but for most of us mere mortals, leasing or getting car loans might be the route we have to take. Kyler, the guy in the video with all the washers and dryers, provides a service that appears to be making him some serious money. 10K A month? Count me in!

They first thing you need would be operational washers and dryers or whatever equipment or machines you want to rent. You need to go on Facebook Marketplace to advertise what you have, how much you charge and how you'll do deliveries and pickups. That's one snag. You need a truck for deliveries. Another snag, space for storage of used machines and parts as well as areas for repairs.

But all that fun stuff lies in the future. First you need to get old washers or dryers, fix what you to bring them up to an acceptable level, then move forward.

Lots of potential, but some hard work, lifting-moving machines onto or off trucks or vans, that kind of thing.

UsefulCharts: King Charles III And British Royal Succession (revised 2025)

Well that's a long title. And speaking titles, who are the next Kings and Queens of Great Britain going to be?

You hopefully know King Charles III is the current English monarch with his two sons, William and Harry named as his most likely successors, but who might be further down the line after them with potential claims on the crown?

That's where videos like this from the Youtube channel UsefulCharts comes in handy.

With the death of Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Castle September 8, 2022, her son, Charles succeeded her with his official coronation May 6, 2023, which bumped many up the list.
But who's next? Let's take a look.

The video is helpful figuring the convoluted cousins, in-laws, aunts and uncles parts which can be confusing it folks who might be unfamilar and it is narrated by Matt Baker (that's actually DOCTOR Matt Baker), the main dude behind UsefulCharts, which Matt have grown to almost 2 million subscribers (1.98 million as of today) with over 223 million channel views from the 270 videos he's uploaded so far.

Tons of informative, interesting charts for those (like me) who pour over old charts and maps. This is likely because I've always loved history, tales of kings, knights and all that stuff. Also, there's the genealogy angle or family history studies. Haven't found a personal direct descent from royalty (Yet, here says) but some indirect ties to Ann Boleyn's father's family among other lines but this isn't the place for me to blather on boringly about my own family tree.

I did notice that Matt referenced his own video called "Welsh Monarchs Family Tree" (that's a link if you want to watch it) posted about 3 years ago with Jack Rackum handling the difficult Welsh placenames. Lots of history in Wales that ties in with English history and the various royals from yesteryear.

I should mention that a lot of the charts shown in various videos are available to purchase from Matt's website UsefulCharts.com for around $25 a chart but they are visually pleasing and suitable for framing etc. (Just a clarification, I am not affiliated with the site and receive no payment or fee for shilling for this channel). I like the videos. I love the charts and I'd like one or two. Maybe others will too.

There are a bunch of other UsefulCharts videos you might like, such as the one below called "Greek Mythology Family Tree" uploaded around 2019 but the info about Zeus, Gaia, Hera and all the rest are tied up in a video that you'll enjoy even with a passing knowledge of the various gods, demigods and heroes.

So let's take a peek, shall we?

Also, I had to include one of the top comments on the video, throwing a little shade in Zeus' direction because of his, ahem, shall we call it, "amorous adventures" with the local mortal women.

Not everyone likes reading YouTube comments because of the rampant trolling, threats and generally snarkish, petty statements posted. But sometimes there are some good ones.

Shaytards... ASSEMBLE!

Time for a quick recap on all things SHAYTARDS (that's a link to their main YouTube channel so you can subscribe and stuff).

I've covered the shenanigans of the various members of the Butler clan since 2010 or so, with the arrival of kiddos, some controversy but all in all, fun times.

Their latest video called "Can you hear what they said at the end?" is below, with the lovely Colette (aka Mommytard) gracing the thumbnail.

After that there's videos highlighting the return of eldest son Gavin (who I still call Sontard) returning home after a couple of years abroad doing missionary work, and Princesstard, Shay and Colette's oldest daughter (Avia in real life), who struck out on her own last year but rejoins the family as they all celebrate Babytard (Emmi)'s 18th birthday. (When did THAT happen?) Babytard is frozen in my mind as a toddler, okay? Yeah, time passes fast, lol.

But you're here to watch the latest Shaytards video, not listen to me blathering on, so let's get to it.

I saw a clip on Facebook with Shay all smiles telling his son Brock (Rocktard) this video felt like "an old school Shaytards family vlog" which I and lots of viewers loved back in the early days. Used to watch their videos when the older kids were still all munchkins and now they're growing up and taking tentative steps toward adulthood. It's all good.

And what the heck? Shay's talking to Brock as he edits videos about how much he likes the current video and I'm thinking Brock edits videos? Then its like, oh yeah. Brock's 15 now.

Didn't I blog about that video they posted about his birth back in 2010? Yeah, here it is if you want to jump into the time machine to watch it:

There was another clip from Shay at one of Brock's football games with proud poppa Shay yelling from the stands "THAT'S MY BOY!" as Brock got in on some of the action. Looks like he got that clip when they went to watch Brock's game (shown in the video above).

But back to they main story, this was the video from October 2024 when Gavin returned from Mexico following his two year mission and with the requisite hugs and tears as they're finally all reunited as a family. In my family, we were all huggers and most would tear up at the drop of a hat too.

But the video (called "OUR SON IS HOME!") starts with Shay and Colette explaining that they're waiting patiently for Gavin's return and the rest of the kids are there, milling around in the background.

You can feel this is going to get emotional as both Colette and Shay look to be holding back a LOT of emotions.

But see for yourself.

So, after that emotional roller-coaster, let's dive right in again with another video (called "AViA CAME HOME!") as eldest daughter Avia (forever Princesstard to most viewers) makes her way to the family from Los Angeles.

And at the start, Emmi is grumpy, waiting for Avia and their mom to stop hugging so she can get in there for her own hugs.

But back to their recent videos. Here we have Emmi and the Butlers celebrating her 18th birthday. Hard to believe all those years have passed.

And don't forget Daxton (that'd be Brotard to you mister), you see him popping up here and there. The youngest Butler gets his share of facetime.

In the first video, I was surprised at how much Brock looks like a young Shay. The girls luckily take after their lovely mother more.

Pacifica Band From Argentina Caught My Ear

There's always that one YT Shorts video that catches your attention while you are scrolling and that you end up watching over and over again.

For me its indy music, or just the music people create that feels fresh to the ear. Sounds kinda "vibe-ish" but I guess I enjoy being surprised by how much I like something. And this little band from Argentina sounds like it has something to say.

The band is called Pacifica and it's two main group members are Ines and Martina. Ines plays lead guitar and Martina does the bass notes.

That's Martina playing an bouncy intro run on the bass before launching into the lyrics (while giving meaningful eye contact) "Premature rejection I'm just trouble in your head. It's just infatuation or your favorite mistake."

She continues with the camara flipping between Ines playing accents on her guitar and the drummer who was doing the heavy lifting with the bass to create the bouncy push for the song. I've heard Ines on other song clips they uploaded to YouTube. They have a gazillion Shorts and longer form videos and have grown a sizable audience with 251K subscribers.

Here's a good one. It shows the girls in a practice room with "Marto" (as she's called in this one), bass, "Inu" (again, as she's called in this one), guitar, with "Rodri" also playing guitar and "Andy" on drums. But who's Rodri? Don't really see him in other videos, or maybe I missed something. Still, a LIVELY introduction they could use when they perform live.

They have the sound you want to hear in a new band. They can play their instruments well enough and they sounded tight, like everyone was on the same page.

Pacifica has a lot of music on display. They may not ever rival Taylor Swift music numbers but they grabbed my attention.

This last video is Marto and Uni talking about how they decided to form Pacifica. I liked finding it was a common love for Strokes music that brought them together as bandmates. Also, crazy how they got a record deal and then an album (released 2024).

What else they got? I'd go to their YT channel to start.

Mike Waters: How to Grow an Audience if You Have Zero Subscribers

The video starts with this guy, Mike Waters talking about how he'd just started this YT channel a couple of months back and how he's surprised to have reached 6,700 subscribers.

A month after this video was uploaded, he now has 11.5K ubs, so he might know what he's talking about.

Starting a YouTube channel and growing an audience from nothing. Ziltch.

Well, he's grown his own subscriber base fairly quickly maybe he has some pointers you cqould use to increase the views on your own videos. "Grow an audience", as I heard someone say once.

It turns out that Mike has had several YouTube channels in the past and this one is more of a personal challenge to help people, "to serve, on the highest possible level" his audience as he tries to make this into a business.

He started by relating he had been reading subscriber comments when one struck him as important because the person had become a bit bored with his content and when Mark prompted him with the question "What do you want?", the subscriber asked for more detail about the first step in building an audience. Flesh it out in a bit more detail.

There are a million ways to take that first step and he wanted to know how not to screw it up.

He said "That's what this episode is going to be about" before spending some time explaining his new setup and camera angle and his new mic but he'll "go back to the old one if you want", stuff.

He turned the conversation back to the main topic of creating an audience for someone with less experience but immediately talks about how there are "twp types of youtubers", the Gardener and the Engineer. One is kind of loosey-goosie, with more of an artistic nature, while the other is more focused on getting expect results from uploading.

Most people just starting a YT channel would probably fall more or less into the Gardener category. A lot of people haven't learnt the minutia of writing, creating, editing, and uploading videos to all the different websites and platforms. That fun stuff can wait.

Most just want to make sure that when their video plays, the audio lines up with visuals. All the complicated, numbers stuff can wait until after they get some more videos uploaded.

But the numbers are the bread and butter of the 2nd type, the Engineer. This is the guy who's always testing everything and knows what niche he should be working on right now. Most of these guys usually have an extensive knowledge of video filming along with writing and editing skills.

Personally, I think you need to be a bit of both types.

Mike mentions that made this channel along the lines that his second type, the Engineer, would build this channel. He plans to make this channel into a revenue stream that is sustainable and longlasting.

And I guess giving you this look at his channel and what he does will help you with your own channel. As mentioned, his audience has almost doubled in size in the one month since he posted the video above.

"Never mind the numbers, what do you want your YouTube channel to do for you - personally."

He says this is an important question that other youtubers, gurus or influencers don't bother answering. Mike mentions how many want to build a business with their videos on YouTube while others might see this a way to "break free" from their boring or unsatisfying 9-5 job. There can be any number of reasons for starting an online business like a YT channel or Twitch streaming.

I liked how he emphasized all the different skills that can be developed with creating online content, like talking in front of a camera, which camera works best in different situations, how to use lighting properly or learning just the basics of video editing.

All of these skills are helpful, and you should always be learning new things to help transform yourself into being a better content creator.

Mike talks about his plan to help people learn how to film, how to do lighting and editing, as they try to develop their online businesses into something longterm and sustainable.

The way to do it seems to be by watching his videos as he plans to create and show to do it, step by step.

He also mentions there'll be "programs" and "lessons" and suchlike provided by links in his doobalee-do. He doesn't say he'll have courses for you to buy but also didn't rule them out. (Everyone's got a course you HAVE to buy).

Mike also mentioned this good quote:

"The best way to escape competition to get away from the spectre of competition with is not just stressful and nerve-wracking which will drive you to the wrong answer the way to escape competition is to just be authentic to yourself. If you are fundamentally building and marketing something that is just an extention of who you are and no one can compete with you on that." Quote from Naval Ravikant

This quote basically summarizes what Mike says are his plans on doing with this channel. He also mentions how looking elsewhere online he sees jobs disappearing but that having an online presence will help buffer from what he forsees as potentially turbulent times of increasing scarcity. Not a "Doom and Gloom" tinfoil hat assessment but more like someone with an eye on the approaching storm.

JJ Buckner: How Much Content Creators Really Make?

You're probably considering starting a YouTube channel to make money. You see how massive YouTube personalities like MrBeast can get rich quick. Maybe if you watch him, you'll figure out how to make money and you'll be the next YouTube overnight multi-millionaire.

"Step aside PewDiePie, it's MY turn to shine in the spotlight!" And with massive views, buckets of money will rain down. Money from ads, sponsorships, affiliate marketing, selling merch.

"Selling merch? Like t-shirts and hoodies and stuff?" You ask.

Yeah. Merch. But that's a topic for another time. Let's stick to the plan.

Let's take this step by step.

First you see how other content creators are managing their YouTube accounts while trying to make some money.

This guy, JJ Buckner, he's going to spotlight some YouTube creators telling their various audiences how much they got paid for one month online and how they did it.

First, who is "JJ Buckner"? Well, he's a YouTube content creator with 220K subscribers, over 14M channel views spread over the 200-plus videos he's uploaded in the last 9-10 years. He's the guy you call for financial advice.

But not a professional financial advisor like all the finance guys have to say to cover their butts if anything the talk about goes south. That's actually a good thing although a LOT of viewers hang on the words of some influencial online money management guys a bit too strongly. So its good there's something of a disclaimer.

JJ starts off strong saying "Making money. Let's get into it" and we're immediately reacting with JJ to a clip of a youtuber sharing the gory details of her making money on YouTube story.

Here's a link to her @kycarter on TikTok where she has 20K followers.

JJ listened as she told her story. He wasn't pausing the video every other second to interject something about what she did right or wrong, he sat in silence with a few gestures of support at important moments of her story. Then he reacted afterwards to how she was building up her Youtube channel.

She has seven revenue streams "with 3 being affiliate programs". Here's your chance to see how much money people can make using affiliate links (and the sky's the limit with affiliate marketing).

She starts with $0 for her Like To Know program, $2 for Amazon, $13 from TikTok Shop and $42 from TikTok's Creator Rewards Program. So about $50-$60 for the revenue streams with the non-affiliated links.

That's not nothing, but we need more than fifty to sixty dollars a month to get out of bed, but she has the answer.

She used affiliate links to help her viewers buy the right baby stroller to fit their needs. A simple strategy and one that saw her receive around $100 from sales of other baby buggy choices plus another $1.8K from all the purchases her viewers made through this Zoe brand.

That $1,900 was her fee for acting sort of as a middleman, guiding the viewers of the advertment on her video, to the seller. Some of her viewers bought the product (in this case the buggy) from the seller and she got some money from the sale, almost like a commission.

JJ starts talking about how "We're talking realistically how much money you can make from creating content" and continues talking about the "tarnished reputations" of youtubers who had success with the "finance niche" at one point but lately, not so much.

He talked about how much he enjoyed watching Graham Stephan back in the day. (Me too)

I watched his stuff and started watching The Dividend King Andrei Jikh up until he stopped with dividends and went in another direction financially. Graham Stephan was also involved in the FTX business and you can watch Coffeezilla's "Sorry You're Bankrupt" video for more info on that tasty little scandal.

JJ was impressed how much Graham Stephan was making during those early years when he showed how much he he was bringing in with those money management videos, and the light bulb went off.

"If Graham Stephan can make this much money talking about money, I want that job!" And now he's got the job (220K subs and all that) and he's helping people with prudent financial advice.

But he's not a personal financial advisor or consultant (this is usually stated for liability reasons). If you lose money, it's your fault. Not the latest YouTube financial guy's fault.

These quick peeks into another youtuber's management style and Adsense is handy and instructional. We can compare their results against our own, or look at one creator vs another.

DIDDY Verdict: Reaction From Twitch Streamers Hasanabi, Charlie and Asmongold

In case you haven't heard, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs or just call him Diddy, was just found guilty of 2 felony counts of the five he had been charged with. He was found guilty of "transportation to engage in prostitution" but was found not guilty on the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He's still in lockup in NY pending sentencing.

Reaction to the news of the verdict pinged it's online way to the ears (and eyes) of these three Twitch streamers who all have something to say about the Diddy verdict.

They all have sizeable Twitch audiences (and their names are linked to their Twitch home page). First will be Hasanabi (2.9M subs on Twitch), then Charlie aka moistcr1tikal (5.7M subs on Twitch) aka penguinz0 (17M subs on YouTube).

And then, batting third, will be Asmongold on his second channel, Zackrawrr (Where he has 2.1M subs). His main Twitch channel says he has 3.9M subs but Asmondgold says, "Last Live 2 Years Ago".

This is a video a Hasan Piker fan channel called Hasanabi Productions posted from a Hasanabi Twitch stream from earlier today.

This is a self-descibed "fan channel" mostly as it says in the channel description the channel is to be "Your home for transformed Hasanabi clips, memes and react videos". The channel has 319K subs and almost 250M channel views.

Hasan starts off low key and just states the facts of the case, adding maybe the feds "went a little heavy on the RICO" stuff, but then pointed out many people talking on the record, giving firsthand eyewitness testimony that Diddy did this and that to them but they still couldn't stick the RICO landing.

"The Feds took a big L in the RICO case"

Conviction under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act means 20 years in prison for each guilty racketeering charge and, as a further poke in the eye, they can be fined up to $25,000 per count.

But now Diddy doesn't have to worry about the RICO counts but it looks like he WILL be on the hook for a "maximum" of up to 10 years for both of the guilty felony verdicts (depending on the "severity").

How much you wanna bet he gets a nice deal? Time served? Sure. He may get something like 6 years with parole eligibility in three but he's out in less.

Let's come back here in 5 years and maybe I'll be the "Seer of Seers", the "Prognosticator of Prognosticators" or an idiot who thinks Diddy will see "much time" at all inside of a federal penitentiary.

Hasan talks about how the evidence seemed to show that Diddy was the head of an alleged criminal enterprise that coerced women to attend sex parties and that Diddy allegedly profited from this activity. He even points out the videotape of Diggy hitting his girlfriend and pulling hair, but the RICO part just didn't make the judicial cut.

In the video Hasan tries to get into the mind of a Diddy supporter (how and why you'd be one), and he said they'd probably say something like "They're gonna come after me too" because of some personal regret from how they themself treated someone in their past.

"There's still a sh*t-ton of dudes, that don't maybe even look back at their previous interactions and don't even look at this kind of a backlash that has taken place and instead of recognizing they should change the way they carry themselves they have basically created a backlash against this wave of women demanding justice. So that's why you see so much of this 'celebration' of this kind of thing."

He mentions "misogyny tourists" which basically means when a man gloms onto the dude in any guy versus girl legal scenario because 'You know. Bro Code' or other similar nonsense.

But his audience asked for a definition of his term, so he tries to explain misogyny tourist by recalling a recent criminal case (from almost 5 years ago almost to the day) when Tory Lanez shot Megan The Stallion in the foot while they were arguing as they left Kylie Jenner's Hollywood Hills home.

(Ah the bright lights, and sometimes gunfire, of Tinsel Town.) Lanez received 10 years for the shooting.

Hasan says "If you look at the details, without any sort of bias whatsoever, when you just look at the details of what took place, and what the criminal justice system decided to take on as an issue, given Megan The Stallion's initial lack of interest (I'd say a wary reluctance rather than a "lack of interest") in prosecuting Tory Lanez despite the fact he shot her. Shot in her direction. He shot AT her" he continued.

Next Hasan points out that many men seem to gravitate to a defensive posture, closing ranks because, as he said, a lot of guys get reflexively defensive when they feel "another man is in the cross-hairs" and they sense it's "not really justified" and its almost as if they feel accountability for your actions gets to skip a day in this case, because: "reasons".

He pointed to men aligning themselves with Lanez' position not because they knew Lanez or could vouch for his character. They felt Lanez should be let go because the victim was "just a woman" according to Piker. Which is a messed up way of seeing the world around you, in my opinion.

Hasan also talked about how this was a criminal case and that Megan wasn't the one who brought the charges against Lanez. It was the State. But he's "seen this dynamic play itself out before."

He mentions "This isn't to say, there's no instance like, where a man has been falsely maligned. I'm sure it happens. But in the overwhelming majority of times, of cases men have NOT been prosecuted for things they've done that is prosecutable (can be defined according to my online dictionary as referring to something that can be taken to court and tried as a crime).

"Or men getting away with doing heinous sh*t to women," he continued. "It is entirely slanted in one direction, and I think that the reason a lot of people basically unconditionally always support men in every single one of these cases is because they fear they've found themselves in this 'tricky space' of navigating interpersonal relations with women and they fear they have done something similar, and possibly some have done things that are similar.

He also says that just because some dudes are defending Diddy, you can't paint them all with the same brush as if they too must be guilty of racketeering or other heinous crimes.

Hasan says the some of any remaining Diddy supporters might be thinkinhg "I've been in a similar situation where I wanted to have sex with a woman. She said no to me and maybe I was a little pushy, maybe I was a little rude, a little creepy. What if I go to jail for that similar thing?"

He sees this attitude driving a portion of some of the men out there. And that's their "starting point" when reacting to these controversial issues.

I could go on further about what Hasanabi spoke about in the video but you should take the time to listen to what he has to say. There's still the sentencing portion of this case to come and I'm sure Hasan will speak on that too.

But let's move on to Charlie's thoughts about the news of Diddy's mixed verdict.

Charlie expresses the same sour taste left that many experienced when hearing how Diddy sidstepped that legal train that many though could put his away for the rest of his life. But Diddy proven himself elusive "because of his baby oil" that allowed him to slip out of the grasp of the people charged with holding him accountable.

He's astonished that "The Lord of Lube" has wiggled out, somehow "despite overwhelming evidence of the decades' worth of evil, criminal activities he has done, terrorizing the music industry and so many individuals, the 'Don of Dildos' will get a slap on the wrist. And maybe not even that much!"

He reviews that Diddy somehow got away with the more serious allegations (with potentially lengthy sentences) but the two lesser charges that Diddy was found guilty of could result in 10 year sentences but Charlie fully expects the oily one to get simply only a slight, inconvenient punishment.

A sentence you or I, poor sods that we are, could never expect to have handed down to us and we'd be locked up until we left jail feet first. He forsees Diddy getting a mere six months probation or something similarly ludicrous.

When the verdict was announced and Diddy skated on the more serious charges, Diddy stood up clapping at the result prompting the spectators to join in like a cheesy after-school movie feel-good moment.

You can almost picture Diddy doing a slow clap and bringing any remaining hangers-on in on his moment when he "sorta", "kinda", beat the system.

Except for those two pesky felony convictions with up to 10 year prison sentences each. We still have to see how those get resolved.

Charlie said he wouldn't be surprised if Diddy received some weak sauce "Home Detention" sentence where he was "forced to play League of Legends for a couple of months" while he whined about his "itchy" ankle monitoring device as he loaded up on restocked cases of baby oil for the weekend.

I guess we can safely call Charlie a bit disillusioned as he turns away from this story in disgust. He says "I don't get it. Did the defense offer free freakoff invitations to the jury? There was overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing" but it looks like the prosecution couldn't prove the coercion aspect of the RICO allegations because of some texts from the women involved.

I liked the "I'm no lawyer, I'm just doing some neanderthal-spitballing here" part with it's Charlie-speak, like the 'neanderthal-spitballing' thing. I enjoy how he puts together an argument, but flavors in an the odd turn of phrase or humorous aside.

Almost expected him to say something like 'Before the verdict was announced, Diddy was as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs', but he went on a mini-rant predicting there will be a "freakoff to beat all freakoffs" and "baby oil will go extinct."

"There'll be a freakoff the likes of which the cosmos has never seen. It will be filled with so much degeneracy it will give birth to Slaanesh in the Warp" (This is a Warhammer gaming reference with Slaanesh being the god of lust, greed, etc and his "birth in the Warp" being a harbinger of Doom.) "Its going to be a Warhammer 40 event. Its really despicable. It really is." summarizing Charlie's take quite nicely on the whole Diddy scandal.

We listen to the reporter exclaim they escaped the one charge that carried a 15 year MINIMUM sentence leaving the listener thinking 'What might have happened if he had been found guilty of all charges?'

But then Charlie raised that big old bugaboo "Money". Yes, it makes the world go around but being Rich With A Capital 'R' and having money seems, according to Charlie, "to help make these problems, (sometimes, felony problems) go away".

"Its weird how that works, well-documented things never really seems to stick in court for some reason. It's odd that we see this happens so many times. It all looks a bit 'fishy' to me" said Charlie with an air of skepticism a mile wide.

He also references the "uphill battle" the RICO charges represented, saying maybe they were an "overreach" but the prosecution were frankly surprised about the Not Guilty on the coercion charge. They seemed to feel it was a slam dunk. They were wrong.

Charlie mentions seeing many online that appeared to be "elated" that Diddy was aquitted on the more serious charges and that Diddy should now SUE the government.

"I don't know how so many people have been poisoned by stupidity. There must be some hole in the ozone layer that's letting pure concentrated stupid to come through and it's destroying neurons at an alarming rate."

He reels in the mini-rant and talks about how one bodyguard will likely "have to go into hiding if P. Diddy walks" and implies this a story illustrates that he's an dangerous man, now with a long, well-documented history, getting let off. Again.

And with that, we trot out Asmondgold, who has been waiting patiently for this longwinded blog to finally let him take the mic. He usually streams on Twitch to big audiences, and more recently he's done some testing on Kick (where they will likely pay him a princely sum for his streams). The AsmonGoldTV channel is his "official" channel on YouTube where he has 3.9M subs for stream clips.

Here's his video called "P Diddy verdict is a DISGRACE".

And we start with the musical question: "Diddy do it?"

And the answer seems to be... no?

"Whoever his lawyer was can now quadruple their rate and that would still be on sale." Yeah, that guy is going to make bank as he becomes known as the guy who got Diddy off... of the legal matters, not the weird freakoff stuff. Hopefully he doesn't have a brood of younguns at home that want to use this as a springboard to online fame like the Kardashians.

While watching, I noticed a couple of Diddy's voracious fans pushed their way to the front of the smaller crowd of curious onlookers, they tried to plant themselves right in front of the camera, to maybe make it look like a more pro-Diddy gathering. Which it wasn't. This group probably expected guilty convictions on all courts and Diddy being led away forever.

He still can see the inside of a penitentiary but to a flabbergasted Asmondgold it looks like Diddy might be getting off scott free or a slight slap on the wrists at worst.

I noticed the first comment on Asmondgold's video was lamenting "We're never getting the Epstein Files." Twenty bucks says they're never releasing those files during this presidency would be my bet on the matter.

He was mostly listening intently at this point in the video while the news reporter explained how the jury didn't find the coercion argument persuasive enough for Cassie's testimony to meet the requirements of the felony count and how Cassie was "under a cloud of coercion" or veiled threats.

Asmondgold summarizes say he was "disappointed too." Diddy was, in his eyes, "a bad actor, BUT he got off".

When talking about how well Diddy's lawyer did in this case, Asmondgold pulled out an old school D and D reference with "he rolled a 20. And the prosecution rolled a one". That's weak sauce on the prosecution's part. The result was not what was expected.

He had something like an aneurism when trying to figure out who is the sex worker vs who is the prostitute question raised by the reporter and why some of those charges fell through.

Asmondgold got back on track talking about how things just seem to go your way when you have oodles of dollars and it seems you can get away with anything when you're rich.

He read something from his chat about people taking justice into their own hands more often and replied "If people start killing other people randomly, the only thing you're going to lose is your own rights."

Continuing, he stated "What do you think? All the people in power will say 'OMG, we're all afraid we'll have to do what you want?'"

"No, they're just going to add in more Patriot Act, mass surveillance bullsh*t until you don't have any more privacy. That's not going to happen. You're so naive. Do you really think that these massively powerful machavellian psychopath murderer rapists are saying 'Oh no, they're killing us! Let's stop what we're doing!'

He finishes by saying he doesn't think Diddy career's "over" and that he'll likely continue on doing what he's been doing. And we close with shots of Diddy supporters showering themselves with baby oil.

Whole lot of yuck in that story.

Warning: You Should NOT Use CapCut To Edit Videos!

Stop using CapCut. Right now!

CapCut is one of those "free video editors" that caught on with online folks because:

1- it was free

2 - it was easy to use

It was one of those new "thingys" that was popping up everywhere for the last couple of years and you were being told "You GOTTA use this!" to make ALL your videos! It has layering, and all the other bells and whistles sure to entice novice video makers and newbie editors to download CapCut.

But then. Some of the "free options" that made this free app so appealing suddenly migrated over to the "paid option".

It's still good, it's still good, we all told ourselves.

Then we found out that CapCut was from the good people at BiteDance who are the Chinese company behind TikTok and the United States has been giving that company a big old case of the stink eye for allegedly giving users' data to the Chinese government. This has proven to be almost an open wound in the eyes of many US observers as TikTok continues to grow in users numbers and the online YT types have embraced the website.

But how is this CapCut's problem? CapCut and TikTok both answer to BiteDance and they answer to the Chinese government. Make of that what you will. The urgent problem with CapCut is that they've just changed their Terms of Service.

Well, watch this video from Top Music Attorney (who has some good videos) called "CapCut Exposed: Terms of Service - Don't Use Until You Watch This".

See? Its a bit more serious than you thought. They can sell you down the river and there's not much you can do about it. All, ALL of your right and protections are given to CapCut forever. Your likeness. Your address etc. It can be sold, transfered or given to anyone they want and you get zero back as compensation. All your work, everything goes to CapCut.

KPOP Demon Hunters: Sony's Eating Disney's Lunch Lately

Not usually one of those guys keeping track of which animation studio is killing it recently versus which one's falling back after a run of "flops", but I have to give a nod towards what SONY's been up recently on the animation front recently.

They started putting together a diverse body of work on the animated side of things, while, to some, those studios like Disney haven't really kept their eye on the prize as far as good animation is concerned. There'll probably be plenty who will rise up in righteous indignation at anyone disparaging the Mouse House but Sony deserves some "attaboys" for getting a few things right.

This is just acknowledging Sony Pictures Imageworks for doing a good job with the new animated movie "Kpop Demon Hunters" which was just released on Netflix. But they should also get some kudos for bringing us films such as 2022's "Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse" which I still think of as one of the better animated films in the last few years.

The recently released Kpop Demon Hunters also has more style and panache than many recent features produced by others. Sony has to like hearing comments such as "this is the beginning of a FRANCHISE" from fans and that they'dlike to see 2 or 3 seasons as a whole series.

But if you haven't seen it yet, there are of course all kinds of clips, reaction videos, character studies and story analysis on YouTube and elsewhere. Here's a quick peek at the animation style of the show.

What the heck did I just watch? It looked kind of like an animated Kpop girl group video (and there ARE plenty of those) but this was more like a lyric video for one of the songs on the show's soundtrack called "How It's Done" that sort of reminds me of BLACKPINK, TWICE or maybe ITZY (and if you know who they are, you know).

The song to me was incidental to the action of the trio of female kpop stars, (named Zoey, Rumi and Mira) taking care of the bad guys then jumping from the airplane and landing in a stadium with an adoring audience. But what's the movie about? Where are the demons?

Maybe you want to watch the Netflix trailer on YouTube? It gives a little more back story to the characters.

The animation does remind me of the Spider-Verse but the movie is in its own kpop universe, with what looks like a kpop girl group that is secretly hunting demons.

The group has the appropriate band name of "Huntr/x" and we find out the new boy's group that goes by the name "Saja Boys", are actually demons in disguise, emissaries or guides to the underworld and they are trying to steal the souls of Huntr/x' fans.

The boys appear on the scene and they cast a hypnotic, almost irresistible connection to their fans. But can Huntr/x fight back against the demonic Saja Boys?

But this sounds more like a puff piece for the movie. I thought this was about the improvements from Imageworks vs what Disney's put out recently?

Glad you asked because I was watching a video essay on YouTube from a newer film criticism voice by the name of Miguel Munuera whose videos I'd like to introduce you to. Miguel is coming up to his 2 year anniversary of uploading to YouTube, has only 24K subs but has almost 5 million views for his 44 videos so far. In the video, he points out Sony's recent high points while not ignoring the company's animated failures.

He mentions "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs", "Arthur Christmas" and "Hotel Transylvania" but reminds us that they also were stuck in sequel mode, producing 10 weaker followups for 10 years. Misses like "The Emoji Movie" or "The Angry Birds Movie" were finally answered with the Spider-Verse and Lego movies and the animation used is being adopted by their competitors.

SamDoesArt and Surviving Art Tackle Pixar

The video below from Sam Does Art called "Pixar is in Big Trouble.. (artist's rant)" is from an actual Youtube artist with a sizeable audience of around 1.8M subs and over 162M views. I've actually watched many of Sam's video because I'm trying to become better as an artist myself and Sam's videos help me get there.

But this is about this video Sam uploaded a few days ago mentioning the release of a new Pixar movie called "Elio" that has received the lowest box office of any other Pizar release, which itself is notable, but also a lot of viewers don't like the same art style being employed by Pizar for a number of their most recent animated movies.

Maybe you can see the "Bean" animation where the mouth of every character takes the shape of a bean. This was a style used more in a 2D media like a flat comic book where the shape worked fine.

In a 3D world like in Elio, the style isn't as unique or like a "one-off", it almost implies a multi-verse feeling where you could exchange characters from one movie universe into the other.

It just felt like each Pixar release had characters artistically created uniquely to that film. Like each one was almost a unicorn in their movie. Now, not so much.

This one is from Surviving Animation, a YTer with about 25K subs and he wants to talk about the recent failure from Pixar of Elio and the success of Kpop Demon Hunters and basically do a "compare and contrast" various aspects of both films. He does cover Elio's esthetic and he really liked Kpop Demon Hunters with their clean, almost amine style. But you should watch the video as he gets a into deeper detail and the two movies.

HeyJohnScott: How Much I Made With YouTube Shorts

Always interested in finding out how much someone is making with Google Adsense and HeyJohnScott gives us the lowdown on how much money he's been making with YouTube Shorts. This video was uploaded to his employer's channel (vidIQ), but it looks like today is his last day and he's leaving the nest and will be flying on his own. So how much money has he made anyway?

Well watch his last video below from vidIQ called "How much shorts ACTUALLY make now (after the update)".

He reveals he's made over $20K over on his personal channel which has 315K subs (nice) and just 6 total videos (with most a couple of years old) but around 33 YouTube Shorts. Most of his longer form videos have sparce viewership under 5K views but one older video with a nice total of 231K views.

Most of his traffic is from his shorts which get millions of views. Nine of his YT Shorts have over 10 million views each, and one has 43M. The rest are still doing good, just with a smaller viewership. This is STILL AWESOME.

So it looks like that $20,000 he made was mostly from shorts although he's added two long form videos in the last month and likely will be posting more fairly soon. But let's see how much money he's been making online and if it is a good decision to be going out on his own.

He gives us, the viewer, his MEGA VIRAL SHORTS FORMULA that, theoretically, will give us something of a blueprint on making the big bucks on YouTube, but I like that he breaks down how much he made with "one million" on a single video, which was $177.

Results may vary for you or me, but not that shabby. Here's an example of one of his shorts that has received at least 1M views up til today. This one is called "Woman found living above a supermarket".

The video is quick, clocking in at around 30 seconds, with minimal background sound except some music, a number of quick edits and some text that accompanies John's narration. An interesting little clip that's just offbeat enough to grab your attention and make you watch it once or twice.

But let's head back to the one above where he tells us about his YT Shorts "secret strategy".

Next he reveals one video that had 3.5M views, made over 4K viewers into subscribers to his channel and generated $388 which again is sweet for shorts content. Here's one of his shorts called "This bank robber didn't want money", and I think I remember reading something about this incident online.

The video is simple and pretty straightforward with some nice editing tricks thrown in. Its short and tells an interesting story quickly and might make you think "I'd like to see some more from this guy" and he has more videos to watch.

He points out another one of his shorts that did even better, getting over 7M views and it made $920 and now we're talking! Those are the kinds of numbers that make you want start posting some shorts of your own. That video also added over 10K subscribers which is a nice added bonus.

Here's one of his that has 8.2M views called "Worst mailman ever" that I liked. Just the right amount of quirk, humor and funky editing.

In the video he shows his analytics again with a video that had 10M views and he received $1,192 and the one with 20M views gave him $2,853. And how much did that one video that got 43 million views did Google pay him for ad revenue?

$4,779 and that video brought another 44K subs for John's channel. Those are some nice, fat numbers but you should go over to his channel (link's at the top of this blog post) if you want to find those shorts.

Its called "He superglued his iPhone to the ground AND GOT RICH" and I remember that one going through my YT Shorts feed (I think I gave him a thumbs up because of the guy's hustle) and now I've come full circle because of the vidIQ video about making money with YouTube Shorts and I'll turn myself into a subscriber of John because I like his content and hustle. Good overall content.

And his secret stategy? He mentions going over his own videos with a fine tooth comb to figure out, line by line, what worked. The One Liner or "hook" that piqued the viewer's interest. Going with simplicity is always a good idea.

Then, the old switcheroo, or the "mis-direction" giving the viewer a moment to pause and think "WAIT. What happened?" but in a good way. Suddenly you wanna know how this situation resolves itself.

Next he would quickly explain what was happening and move the viewer to the punch line or the action that resolves what happened, and make the viewer go "Oh yeah, I get it!", and relate to the title for example.

And he'd end the video to a Call To Action. Not necessarily a generic "like, comment and subscribe" but more of a summary of what they just watched. If you watch more of John's shorts they seem to have a theme and flow well.

Like he said at the beginning of his video, John's made $20,000 so far with his Shorts, is leaving his 9-5 with vidIQ and stepping out on his own to try his luck. I'll probably subscribe to see how he does.

Also... I hear there's a job opening up at vidIQ. They're hiring?

TerraGreen: Black Widow Vs Venus Flytrap

I think I'm Team Venus Flytrap in this little scenario rather than Team Black Widow. Spiders kinda give me the creeps but I am enough of a "Sigma" to be able to get rid of that creepy-crawler that's living rentfree in your bathroom that keeps you from going in there.

The thumbnail for this video caught my eye so I had to watch this one. Its likely one of those "AI thumbnails" that a lot of people are perturbed about, like those created with MrBeast's "inspirational" AI thumbnail offer that had many responding with heated words. Its still a good one though (likely Photoshopped).

But you're reading this waiting til I get to the video, so I'll let you watch. I'm wondering if I can take bets on who is going to win this battle of nature?

The spider looks robust and scarily big enough to shrug off the little mouthy part of the Venus Fly Trap.

But who knows for sure? Let's see...

The video was uploaded by TerraGreen who have run up almost 250M views on YouTube after starting to post videos about a year and a half ago (November 2023) when they posted their first video called "Simulating a Rainforest for 30 Days" which has 3.2 million views itself.

Their 1st video has millions of views? How many videos has this channel uploaded to get almost 250 million views on YouTube in so short a time? Well, 46 including this flytrap fighting a giant spider video.

The content isn't your usual YouTube slop drama stuff, or reaction videos, or the latest hot takes on politics with whatever para-social host your engaged with "owning" the libs or pwning the conservatives.

It's more of this stuff. Odd pets, like spiders, two-headed snakes, scorpions or rare, colorful lizards. Not your usual pet cat videos you usually see on YouTube.

This video was interesting because first of all he used two different flytraps by cost with one batch costing $10 and another more aggressive looking group of plants (they seemed a little further along on the evolutionary scale) that I wanted to see try to snar some tougher bugs.

Those second Venus Flytraps kind of reminded me of the hungry plant from Little Shop of Horrors. If you want a reminder of that film's weird awesomeness, here's the trailer.

Returning to the video at the top, it turned out the flyplants pretty much decimated all the spiders in quick order, which is good. I wouldn't want to have a Black Widoe Spider making a jail break and start looking for a spot in my home to crouch and multiply. Unless its Scarlett Johansson, then I might be willing to make an exception.

Just a quick word about spiders. Apparently if you're not too careful, some larger spiders hitchhike into your home from the grocery store as they curl up in that part of those bananas that connect, then go exploring when you put the bunch away.

I think this happened to me as after bringing home some groceries I spotted a BIG spider. (He was sitting in the bathroom reading the newspaper and he told me I needed to buy some more beer. Just kidding.) I saw it in the bathroom and grabbed my trusty flyswatter and senselessly beat him soundly thinking I had made quick work of my bugly intruder. But the spider just shrugged it off and ran down the air vent unharmed. I swear it stopped, looked at me and flipped me the bird with its little legs before staggering into the darkness of the vent. Did I mention I don't like spiders?

Reno James: 10K Subscribers? How Much Does YouTube Pay You For That Size Of An Audience?

Good question.

If you're Reno and you have a YouTube channel and you feel you've somehow blundered into a 10,000-strong audience, you might ask yourself if you can you make money with a relatively "smaller audience" like this one?

How can you compete with all the huge accounts that generate millions upon millions of views like PewDiePie and MrBeast?

And he didn't "blunder" into that subscriber count, he posted repeatedly for most of the four years he's had this account, with a 2 year gap when he was swimming in college. Here's a link to his YT channel: Reno James

But for the last year or so he's been posting again and getting some traction as now he has 2.2 million channel views and 400-plus videos uploaded.

He's put in the work.

The video that's below has 40K views and it was posted just 2 weeks ago.

It hasn't gone viral but it raises some interesting points if you're looking to monetize your YouTube channel or just looking for other ways to make money online. Like a legit side hustle, how much does Reno make from his YouTube channel?

Let Reno speak for himself.

The video starts with an old clip of Reno before present day Reno quickly interrupts to apologize for the somewhat embarrassing in retrospect clip of himself as a 14-year-old vlogger.

He mentions his channel just hit 10K but I noticed that in the two weeks after this video was uploaded, another three thousand people subscibed to his channel, to go from 10K to 13K subs. So he knows what he's doing.

So how much money does he make from YouTube and when does he get the money? I hear ya asking.

Before you get even a thin dime from Google's Adsense Program you have to get your videos monetized. There are some requirements that Reno outlines, namely 4,000 hours of watch time and 100 subscribers (all within a year's time).

Yikes. How do you do that?

Well you post and upload some videos, then upload and post some more. Make sure your content is something that interests all those people that might stumble across your videos and you make them decide to stop stumbling for a second and click subscribe. Or leave a comment or two.

That's the hard part.

Getting more views on your videos means more ads watched which means more money from Adsense. Remember, it took him four years to get to THIS point.

Reno's on the onramp to making money online and he needs to keep uploading good videos (like this one) to keep getting more views which can lead to more and more Adsense money, yada, yada. We all have our rent to pay or a mortgage or car payment that always comes due, so a little more money would be handy.

So Reno's account was monetized in March of this year but he only had a week to make any ad revenue and YouTube has a minimum of $100 that you have to earn in your Adsense account each month before they send you the money you've earned.

Reno made less than the minimum so his balance was held over until the next month when he DID meet the requirements so he received $115. Not bad for your first (hopefully of many) monthly Adsense payment.

The following month he had a bump in the number of views and averaged about $10 or more per day and Google has $352 earmarked for him.

So if these payments were to continue you might want to start looking into someone like an accountant to help you with paying potential income taxes or just general financial advice.

You might think you are quite proficient in paying your taxes etc, thank you very much, but you will be busy creating new videos too. Writing. Shooting videos. Don't have too many irons in the fire. Getting some legal advice or talking things over with a good accountant is usually always a good plan.

Reno seems to have things under control and he's starting to see some money coming in due to his own hard work. Hopefully he'll upload something in another month or six months from now showing how he's done since THIS video.

There are tons of YouTube channels that can benefit from a peek into how someone more successful than themselves is navigating the tricky waters of YouTube monetization and this video would be also be helpful to anyone else considering uploading videos on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch or any online platform.

What Video Has The Record For Most First Day Views? Not MrBeast

You've just uploaded your video to YouTube and now you're watching the view counter crawl upwards as the hours pass.

Will this banger of a video finally be the one that breaks through? Will you get 100K views? Or (gasp!) will be the one that generates 1,000,000 views? You have visions of Adsense millions dancing 💃 in your head.

Maybe this time you'll hit the jackpot and make a boatload of money while your subscribers and others enjoy your content. Maybe you'll see a record on your first day with the most views recorded in one day, but you think that Mr Moneybags, MrBeast, probably has that record too.

But, nope. Surprisingly, MrBeast DOESN'T have the video that has received the most views in 24 hours. He did, but then a new gunslinger showed up and stole his thunder.

Below you'll find most of the videos that have the most first day views.

The video with the most views was the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (bet you forgot about that one, didn't you) that was uploaded December 4, 2023 by Rockstar Games and they got a remarkable 93 million views during that first day as millions of gamers (and GTA content creaters) all got a little chubby thinking that their long-awaited sequel game was FINALLY happening.

But those hopes were crushed and they found out they would have to wait til 2025.

Well, at least GTA 6 was finally coming in 2025, right? It would be released in 2025 after long 12 year wait (Sept 2013. Wasn't Obama President then and even before PewDiePie or MrBeast showed up? Before Twitch even?).

But, nooooo. Its been pushed back until May 26, 2026.

Only another year (ugh!). So it'll be 13 years between version of the game.

Think of that thirteen year gap as something as your "Lucky Number 13".

But what was I talking about before I was sidetracked into a mini-rant? Oh yeah, the trailer for GTA VI holds the record for most views in the first 24 hours a YouTube video has received.

The 2nd has to be one of MrBeast's I hear you ask.

Again, nope.

The second spot goes again to Rockstar Games with their second trailer for GTA VI which they uploaded May 6, 2025 (and Vice City looks amaze-balls).

This video didn't surpass the 1st trailer although its been report the video had 80-plus million views on Youtube in it's first 22 hrs.

The trailer has only (yeah "only" I said) 122 million views on YT for a month or so. Rockstar Games reported the trailer garnered 475 million views total across all platforms (YT, TikTok, Instagram and others) it's first day, so KA-CHING!!

he guys at Rockstar got PAID I'm guessing. So if you haven't seen it yet, here ya go.

They probably made enough with those 475 million views to start working on GTA VII, which will be out May 2039. Maybe. Maybe.

Now we get to MrBeast.

As you might know, this guy Jimmy Donaldson has a little YouTube channel called MrBeast where he uploads videos from time to time and he has done pretty good for himself ("No sh-t, Sherlock" I hear you say) and well, he has a bunch that have had a ton of views (Did I say a ton? I meant a f-ckton of views).

The video below is called "$1 vs $250,000 Vacation!" that MrBeast upload August 12, 2023 and he got 52 million views for this 15 minute video it's first day alone, but today in June 2025 it sits at a sweet total views of 349 million. Not bad at all. Probably Jimmy and his team made a BUNCH of money online with this video alone.

And it's STILL racking up views. Here it is if you haven't seen it yet.

And, to no one's surprise, the next on the list is "7 Days Stranded at Sea" also from MrBeast and it was uploaded August 2023. I've seen so many lame copies of this one by MrBeast wannabes and copycats. This one was HUGE when it came out and has 369 million views for the channel. Even with 369M views it doesn't even crack MrBeast's Top 10 most viewed videos.

One more MrBeast video that got ALL the views on the day it was released.

Of course its "$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!", uploaded way back on November 25, 2021 when Jimmy was a young whippersnapper and not yet the most subscribed youtuber of all time.

There's quite a bit of controversy and MrBeast's version of the South Korean hit show Squid Game (That's a link to the show over on Netflix.com if you're interested), but I won't go into detail in this Bradshaw's Blogpost about what everyone's said, uploaded or wrote about it but the video caused a sensation, gathering heaps of attention to Jimmy's various YT channels and endeavors.

But I will start posting about that stuff later. There's been some grievances and legit concerns about preparation and the treatment of participants, but I'll air those grievances another day. 😉

This is currently MrBeast's most viewed video he's uploaded to his channel and has 815 million views (which is a Zoinks! amount of views).

Remember at the beginning of this post I alluded to you uploading a video and hoping against hope that maybe it might reach a million views someday?

Think about uploading something that got 815M views like this video AND IT IS STILL ACCUMULATING VIEWS TODAY, 4 yrs later.

The sky's the limit. Even 10 percent, or even 1 percent of the success of Jimmy's Squid Game video in terms of views, would be a gamechanger if you were monetized with Adsense, sponsored or could turn a profit with some merch.

Even I got big dollar signs in my eyes thinking about it. But hitting it big like this (like MrBeast) is like trapping lightning in a bottle.

There are more videos uploaded to YouTube like that "Deadpool Vs Wolverine" one that made everyone on this platform and otheand that make viewers sit up and take notice.

Maybe that video you just uploaded will be The Next Big Thing. You won't know until you do it.

PewDiePie Drops Google Like A Bad Habit

Break out the tin foil hats boys, because PewDiePie is unplugging from the Google mother ship.

He's heading offline. He bought himself and Marzia and the various PewKiddos a cabin far away in the woods, off the grid where he plans on growing his own veggies, raising a couple of chickens and start enjoying the good life.

Why the big change? Well, for those who like to keep track of such things...

PewDiePie Is No Longer In The Top 10

WHAT?! When? How did this happen? Well, while Felix was living his life and doing Felix things as Felix likes to do, like learning how to draw over the last year or so, we were all co-opted and distracted into subscribing to other channels like MrBeast's flashy content and other stuff (hey, now he's up to 409 million subs and marching ever closer to a billion).

So PewDiePie has dropped out of the Top 10 Most Subscribed list. What's Felix's reaction? To decouple himself from Google and try to live a less scrutinized lifestyle without "big tech" watching his every move like they're using Sauron's flaming eyeball.

Anyway, let's let the man talk.

Okay, so there's no cabin in the woods. Its more or less about Internet Security with less being tracked by Facebook, Google and all those other companies hungrily demanding to know your every thought, move, financial transaction, or bowel movement.

He is just trying to get out from under the baleful gaze of the Internet, almost like having NordVPN for your real life beyond just your online life and it all starts with your smart phone which he wants to dumb down a smidge.

No one wants your phone snooping into all of your own activities and the gazillion apps on your phone facilitate the tracking that goes on, nonstop, 24-7. Interesting idea about segregating apps to prevent their snoopage from going on and changing your operating system.

Also, I've always liked DuckDuckGo although I haven't used it much recently. I do see that browser is one of those that people use to find Bradshaw's Blog and its been around forever. Hey, maybe Felix is reading my posts through DDG? Extremely doubtful, but Hi Felix if you're passing through. I know. Not happening.

Here's a recent video from CoolTechZone rating various browsers if you are curious about making a switch. Not subbed to them and they've only been uploading to YouTube a couple of years and have only 16K subs, but it might be worth a peek if you're interested in a new browser that supports things like adblockers and the like.

He also talks about Linux and there are more than enough videos outlining what the Linux operating system is and how to use it so I'll post this recent one with millions of views from Fireship (who also have millions of views) called "100+ Linux Things you Need to Know" if you're interested in traveling down that path.

But getting back to PewDiePie because he mentioned his recent Linux video called "I installed Linux (so should you)" from last April where talks more about the joys of open source.

Just as a sidenote, I liked Felix expressing a distaste for all things AI and paying subscriptions to "our future AI overlords. Good to see we're on the same page.

As far as using his steam deck "abomination" to help with his de-Google-fication, that's fine too. Like he said, there's some from the uber-techy nerd crowd with monster systems but there are cheaper alternatives if you put in a little research for some Internet Security peace of mind.

Bottom line is PewDiePie's not running off into the woods after all. He's just pushing away from the Internet a bit. Its all good.

The Crow: The First Hunt

I don't know if you've seen The Crow or not but this is a dark little gem that needs to be on your list of movies to watch. Or watch again.

Starring the late Brandon Lee (yes, son of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee) as the main character, or anti-hero, Eric Draven, who died during the making of the movie after being shot by an improperly loaded prop gun.

The film was released after Lee's death, becoming both a commercial as well as a critical success and was based on the comic book series by James O'Barr, which was published in 1989 to much critical acclaim.And the music! The soundtrack was amazing and worked perfectly with the story in my opinion.

The movie is about the revenge Draven seeks after being resurrected by a supernatural crow a year after his own death (on Halloween no less) trying to save his fiancée Shelly (played by Sofia Shinas) during her fatal attack in their shared apartment at the hands of a gang of criminals. The crow seems to help Draven and guide him during his hunt for the thugs that killed his girlfriend and himself.

The clip below can best be described as dark and moody as a revenge-filled Draven dons make-up and with his crow as a companion (almost like his eyes) discovers the first one of the gang, Tin-Tin (Laurence Mason) and exacts some retribution.

"Victims. Aren't we all."

This clip was posted by JoBlo Action 4K and uploaded about a week ago. Felt I had to blog about it as I saw the movie when it was originally released and felt compelled to share.

You can see the some of what Heath Ledger acheived with his own interpretation of his Joker persona was likely based somewhat on Brandon Lee's portrayal in The Crow.

Not to take anything away from Ledger's Joker in 2008's "The Dark Knight" but you can see the similarities, can't you?

And for all you conspiracy theorists both died at 28 shortly after making these movies. Both did amazing work.

Whose Line: Ryan Stiles and Young Joe Pesci

Get ready to plunge down the old "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" rabbit hole. Its time for another hoedown with Wayne Brady, Brad Sherwood, Colin Mochrie, and of course Ryan Stiles.

Host Aisha Tyler asks the studio audience for a topic and they choose "marriage" as the subject and throws it over to the guys as the music begins to play (courtesy of Laura Hall) with Wayne kicking it off.

I can't help but laugh out loud just about every time I watch clips from the show on YouTube and this is a good one. Even Colin Mochrie lost it when Ryan invoked "a young Joe Pesci" causing all to fall apart. When they all composed themselves, wiping away tears of laughter, Ryan tried again but broke again replacing the Pesci line with "a young Abe Vigoda", another unexpected reference.

I've been watching Whose Line Is It Anyway? since it first showed up back in 1998 with Drew Carey as the host and mostly featuring Wayne, Colin and Ryan.

Aisha Tyler does a great job keeping these guys in line (and sometimes jumps in with the lunatics). There are tons and tons of clips from the show if you want more. There's even some with Robin Williams and other improv legends on Youtube.

The original British version of Whose Line started 10 years before this one (in 1988) and all three (Wayne, Colin, Ryan) appeared there, along with Stephen Fry and Sandi Toksvig who both hosted the equally awesome QI program, which I heartily recommend you seek out on YouTube.

Liver King Arrested For Threatening Joe Rogan

And here's Asmondgold's take on The Liver King's threats and arrest. First there's him muttering to the camera about Joe Rogan's "gonna pay" and he's all stealth mode creeping through a house dressed in a black hoodie, with his eyes darting this way and that. He looks deranged in my opinion, but watch Asmondgold's reaction.

The "Liver King's real name is Brian Johnson and he had his moment in the sun back in 2021 when the Internet turned their bemused eyes on Johnson who was this weird overly muscled character who ate raw organ meat claiming this caused his "neanderthal-like" build and that you needed to do this too for real healthy living.

Here's a Youtube Short video of him sitting down to "eat breakfast". But he doesn't really eat much raw meat in the video, showing distain for actual food like the whole foods, slapping it off the table.

After being exposed as a fraud Johnson had been STILL desperately trying to contact Joe Rogan to get on his JRE podcast but Rogan was having none of his foolishness. Maybe that was one of the things that pushed Johnson off the deep end, although Rogan was right in laughing him off, saying there was no way in hell Brian "The Liver King" Johnson would ever get near his podcast.

When the Liver King got his huge boost online for his claims of clean living he tried to make a $100 million dollar supplements business, because, you know ya gotta strike while the iron is hot.

But then it all really hit the fan. His clean living, no steroids lifestyle was exposed when his emails came out and people discovered the guy was taking as much as $10,000 a month in performance enhancing drugs, forcing him to upload a confessional "I'm sorry I lied and you caught me" video and it was all downhill from there.

Here's his final moments of fame (or infamy) on Entertainment Tonight as he's arrested in front of the cameras for uttering threats. What a bizarre man. As a sidenote, he looks tiny and small when he gets loaded into the police car.

Finally, here's Jon Bravo Films giving a little more detail about Johnson's plans and that he'd been cooking up something like this for years. Bravo has nothing but distain for Johnson.

Hopefully this is all behind us now but I've heard rumors and read some things suggesting Johnson remains unrepentant and still seeks to confront Joe Rogan for whatever perceived slights he's taken from Rogan. We'll see how it plays out.

MrBeast Getting Spanked By Creators Over AI Thumbnail Plan

Once again, the pitchforks are out, youtubers are out in force, and boy are they angry, and they're calling for MrBeast's scalp or at the very least an explanation WTF he thinks he doing.

Why, you may ask, because isn't Jimmy the beloved smiling face of YouTube from a content creator standpoint?

Here's a quick video from OG Youtuber Phil DeFranco where he covers the main points.

Well just like the sudden reputational downgrade Elon Musk experienced recently, Jimmy Donaldson, owner and the main driving force behind YouTube's Most Subscribed Channel (with more than 408 million subs) and it feels like MrBeast poked many youtubers in their collective eyes.

MrBeast has apparently embraced the dark arts of artificial intelligence and has found a new way to monetize AI and he is offering you this gift (for the low, low price of your creative soul) and a mere $80 a month so you too can forgo forever the tedious challenges of creating you own thumbnails with software (like Photoshop) you have to learn for your uploaded videos.

Who has time to "learn" and be creative when Daddy's got rent that's due, he needs that Lambo for sweet influencer cred and who's gonna pump out 10 videos a day if I have to learn stuff, think stuff, and be all creative-like?

All you need to do is sign on the dotted line (and have your credit card info handy) to get a "Pro Membership" through the company he co-founded a couple of years back called Viewstats. $80 a month? That's nothing to a baller like me. At least that's what I tell my social media followers and fans.

Its Easy Peasy, amirite?

But how has MrBeast's offer of the keys to the AI thumbnail kingdom gone over? Well, with a massive backlash.

All over YouTube, content creators have been uploading videos with titles like "MrBeast Has Ruined YouTube!" (Use that on the website as the search term and you'll see) or Jacksepticeye Was Right About MrBeast!"

And they're getting tons of views, like this called "MrBeast Actually Responded To JackSepticEye" which has 381K views.

That was uploaded by PyroLIVE who has 1.13 million subs who usually gets 100K-plus up to half a million views but this one got that in one day.

He gives us some background on Vidstats (didn't know MrBeast had a new Vidstats YouTube channel) and he give more extra info about AI thumbnail generation as well as more details of MrBeast's complaints about Russian copycats ripping off his content and (how ironically) his thumbnails.

Another good take is this video called "MrBeast Made An AI Slop Subscription Service For YouTubers" from a few days ago by Only Stanz, who is a relatively tiny youtuber with around 25K subs, but has been uploading for 4 years and has 459 videos posted. So he's got some skin in the game.

There's comments pointing out MrBeast tweeted that he was upset people were stealing his own thumbnails and slapping their faces on them, but here he is saying with this plan, you just go to someone's channel like Jacksepticeye (who has called out Jimmy in the past) or MoistCr1TiKaL, scrape their thumbnails and put your own face on them.

I guess the practice is okay and you're the good guy in MrBeast's opinion if you do it and thrust some money in his pocket.

Just WTF are you playing at man?

Apparently the best way to combat content thievery is to use AI to best those scammers at their own game by scraping thumbnail content from the creator of your choice.

Ain't irony a grand thing?

But that's not all. Here's Twitch streamer Ludwig piling on some thoughts in this one from the Ludwin clips YouTube channel.

There are more of these videos if you choose to pursue AI thumbnails down the YouTube rabbit hole, but I have a question. $80 bucks? A month? What else do you get for that much money? Do you get a little reach around by the YouTube logarithm? Does this sweet AI plan coax a little more watchtime love?

What happens if thousands and thousands of desperate "creators" run to Vidstats with their credit cards outstretched in their hot, little hands pleading "Shutup and take my money" only to start flooding the website with the same unique thumbnails.

All "unique", just like everyone else.

This has a similar taste of that old "Reply Girls" problem from long ago in YouTube's misty past. You probably don't know what that was, but it wasn't pretty even though there was some nice booba.

I don't like this. It feels like a backward step for creativity and individualism, but some will embrace this AI plan or the next one and wonder later why it didn't work out for them and NOW they're out all that money.

MrBeast is like the shopkeeper trying to sell picks and shovels to the miners in the AI gold rush. It was the shopkeepers and saloon owners who got rich, while the miners mostly all ended up empty handed.

But let's keep an eye on it and see how it plays out.

LEMMiNO Vs Reaction Videos Ripping Him Off?

I've been a viewer of the videos of LEMMiNO for a long time now, first noticing his detailed, well-thought out content years ago, mostly his stuff about Space, which has developed into a multi-year, episodic series that I've recommended vigorously to my fellow space-nerd friends.

The video below is LEMMiNO's most recent video that he's uploaded to YouTube last May 2024 called "The Unbreakable Kryptos Code" that currently has 7.5 million views. Posting the video here does not detract views or Adsense revenue from LEMMiNO at all, as all views and ad money stays with the channel that uploaded it. Enjoy.

Now back to our previously scheduled blog post.

Like a lot of the really good content I stumble across, LEMMiNO was a smaller channel with niche-like beginnings (in his case an apparent love for "rage comics"), his content slowly morphed into more thought provoking stuff that he calmly narrated in a soft-spoken, almost ASMR-like Swedish accent.

But he was covering topics that piqued my interest and I found I'd go back and re-watch and make a note to myself that I needed to keep an eye out for whatever video he was going to upload next.

Back 11 years ago, LEMMiNO was like a machine and pumped out videos like crazy, uploading almost 50 videos in one year.

He'd do Top 10 this and that, sprinkling in some more about rage comics but shifting more towards "Top 10 Facebook" facts, "Top 10 COD" facts, then started discussing PewDiePie. Disney and honing his style.

Loved those earlier videos and you should take look if you're unfamiliar with them.

His videos got longer, with more detail and although the number he produced slowed to a crawl, (but almost 40 ten years ago) to 20 a year, then 10-12 a year, then only 3 to 5 per year.

The videos were better and they were finding an appreciative audience but then they stopped a few years back.

What happened? Had LEMMiNO packed in and retired? Was he now living the good life in Sweden on all that sweet Adsense money and decided sit back and count his Krona?

The he posted a video called "The Kennedy Assassination: Inside the Book Depository" that was well done, over an hour ana a half long, in his signature style. It currently has over 13 million views.

All good, right?

Well, there was a problem. Like many, that video fell victim to a common peoblem - reaction videos. Major Twitch streamers, YouTube content creators all started posting streams and uploading reaction videos where they played the video in whole to their various audiences.

Streamers are able to do this a bit easier than youtubers who usually have to cut their react videos a little shorter, but the problem was if you watch a video on someone's Twitch stream and THEY get the ad revenue as a sidenote, why would you bother going to the original content creator's YouTube channel to RE-WATCH the video a 2nd time?

Reaction videos are a tricky subject and everyone has an opinion.

Some who react do a good job and make their reaction content TRANSFORMATIVE which is the essence of Fair Use. Others, blatantly steal content, have minimal to no reactions to what they are watching and slap their own Google Adsense to viral videos and claim it's their's and we all know there are PLENTY who do this.

And this "siphoning" off of views is what likely irked LEMMiNO enough that he later uploaded the Q and A video which you'll find below the next video posted by Viper Rambles where he provides some back story and responds to LEMMiNO's Q and A video.

Just to let you know if you haven't see anything from Viper before. The video above was posted on his secondary channel but his main channel, DarkViperAU, has over 2 million subs and loads of good content.

Viper points out that LEMMiNO mentions that he has no problem with content creators using clips, parts, or sections of his videos as long as it's transformative or that they add content to make whatever clips they're watching better.

He says LEMMiNO does take exception to people watching the entirety of his videos on a watch stream (Hello Twitch and Kick) while staring blankly at their screens. This is a common complaint, but I won't just launch into rant mode again, I promise.

Hopefully after this lengthy blog sermon I've laid on you about poor reaction content and general IP theft, you're still interested in seeing more of LEMMiNO's content, so here's that Question and Answer video he posted in October 2023 after his channel hit 5 million subscribers.

vidIQ Spills About YouTube Revenue Streams For Creators

For most, Google Adsense is one of the primary revenue streams available to youtubers and Jenn from vidIQ points out some new options for increasing the amount of money flowing towards content creators on the website.

If making more money with your Youtube channel interests you, then take a look at this video that's just been uploaded. It may give you some ideas of where you might expand your online endeavors or maybe grab an idea to put on the back burner to followup with later. These might offer some different ways to help crank up the money-making aspects for you.

Of course there are the usual methods of increasing the amounts of money you can generate by getting brand deals or sponsorships, selling merchandise (like t-shirts, artwork), using affiliate marketing (getting a small slice of the pie when someone buys something you've directed them towards), digital products (ebooks, templates, software), or things like courses (but please not any of those lame "I made a million dollars and you can too by giving me money" scams or grifts), or even physical products you've created or made.

The list of stuff you can sell is endless but getting eyeballs on what you're selling is what is what hamstrings most folks.

The things Jenn points to in this video are those that many just haven't considered. Either because they aren't aware of them as viable options or they think their channel is "too small" to support moving in a different direction or they haven't seen others utilize these options.

All the hucksters and grifters you see on YouTube are busy trying to convince you to part with your hard-earned cash and now its you have to try AI automation baby! You too can get rich by using AI to build a passive income and not do any work and maybe buy their "course" where they'll help you one on one for the low, low price of (insert dollar amount here).

Don't fall for their crap. They'll be moving on to the next hot idea to scam the suckers in 6 months just like they did with the last hot idea.

You won't get rich by trying to be lazy or following the latest guru's foolproof plan. All you'll do is prove you're the fool and the guru will pocket your money and claim you "didn't follow the plan correctly" while trying to slip their hands into the next sucker's wallet.

Sorry for the rant, but I've seen too many of the "Get Rich Quick But Only I Can Show You How" scams come over the Internet.

13 Years Later: Tim Catches Up With His Ex Iliana

This video came out a couple of years ago, but those longtime fans and subscribers of the Timothy Delaghetto channel will love to see Tim following up with his lovely ex-girlfriend Iliana from back in the early days of his channel.

Tim has dropped his old alias, "delaghetto" and uses his real name these days, Tim Chantarangsu, which is a good thing after all, as he's now a grown-ass man, who's married with a couple of bambinos, plus its a little nod to professionism. He's even renamed his old second channel to Tim And Chia Vlogs where they now upload videos about their family, kids, friends, etc, and keep viewers informed about what they're up to these days.

But you're here to watch the video with Iliana below, where she appears on his podcast called "No Chaser", so let's take a look.

One thing I have to say is shout out to Tim's wife Chia for being supportive and allowing this video to be made, because at lot of people would put the immediate kibosh on letting your partner or spouse air out their past with an ex-girlfriend or boyfriend. Shows a level of maturity and trust on both Chia's and Tim's part, so a tip of the hat to her for not rejecting the idea.

Iliana herself looks great (as expected) and she shows maturity as well. I did read one of the comments on the video pointing that Iliana "isn’t a celebrity or an influencer" and pointed out she was exhibiting a bit of bravery just by doing the podcast. Sidenote, she is on Instagram Iliana and has a YouTube channel called ItsIlianasWorld so show her some love and support over there.

I liked Tim right at the start giving viewers the straight stuff that they better come at this with respect and "Don't be dicks. Or you're gonna get blocked" which I wholeheartedly agree with.

Tim was supportive and attentive while Iliana explained her bipolar diagnosis five years before and the depths of despair she experienced but she seems to have come out the other side in better shape mentally. Good to hear she's also happily married (4 yrs ago).

But I don't want to just tell you what they discussed, you need to listen to Iliana explain her story over the previous 13 years rather than have me ham-fistedly explain.

Gotta admit though, I've been watching Tim's video since back in the day with Tim driving around with Rick talking shite, going to various restaurants eating awesome looking food and hanging with Tim's Mom and Pop. Then this shy beauty would randomly appear, leaving me thinking "Her? She's with him?! How?" That was how I remembered Iliana. So many shared stories.

Then they broke up, but once in a blue moon you'd see her for a hot minute in a restaurant, and life would go on.

I like this video. There's some closure for them and for us longtime viewers.

The Thanks For Tipping Podcast

The video above was episode number 222 of the No Chaser podcast and Tim's still hard at work at it and I think he's up to episode 320 which dropped 3 days ago. But he's also doing another new podcast called Thanks For Tipping with Megan Batoon (over a million subs herself) for about 4 months now and they just released episode 19 yesterday. I wrote a blog post earlier this month to support JJJacksfilms where he pointed out to viewers than a huge youtuber named DangMattSmith who has been spamming YouTube by uploading the SAME videos continuously.

First, take a look at JJJacksfilms' video uploaded today where he shows the 8th time DangMattSmith has posted the same spammy video.

If you scroll through Matt's videos you can see the same videos again and again and again. Unchanged, all with the exact same thumbnail and if you look, the same content. As JJJacksfilms points out, this is clearly multiple violations of YouTube's Terms of Service but maybe the website doesn't really care because Matt has a YouTube channel with 15 million subscribers.

Wouldn't that lead one to speculate the website might be turning a blind eye because of all that sweet, sweet ad revenue?

What to do about a massive YouTube content creator gaming the system like this? Maybe flag the video as spam or leave a comment like Jack did, or go on X (aka Twitter) to publicly call Matt out while telling YouTube what's happening but that public airing of dirty laundry might not be your jam.

Let's take a look at Social Blade to see how Matt's channel is doing in the views department.

It looks like a consistent decline in monthly views since at least January 2023 where Matt's now getting something like 6 million per month. That reduction in views would suggest a corresponding decline in Adsense revenue, but I can't speak on that because I obviously cannot see his revenue totals.

You just have to wonder what's going on with Matt's channel. New subscribers seem to have dried up, ad revenue is dropping alongside reduced viewership.

Maybe the channel subscribers see a "new" video posted on Matt's channel and think "Hey... I've already watched that. Wasn't it posted a month ago?" and click someone else's original, fresh content. That would be my guess.

28 Years Later: Zombies And A Tale Of Two Film Reviews

Zombies, baby!

Yeah I know that the director of 28 Years Later pooh-poohed calling those unfortunates infected with the rage virus as actual "zombies", that's how I, and lots of others, see them.

This 3rd installment of the 28 Days Later "franchise" was released 20 June, 2025 and was directed by David Boyle who also helmed the first movie. Alex Garland wrote both movies but neither was involved with the 2nd in the series "28 Weeks Later", and Boyle has mentioned that movie isn't really considered canon, even though this one follows the same basic timeline.

If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, YouTube channel Looper has posted a handy summary of the movies which will bring you up to date with the storyline.

I've included their video below, followed by reviews of 28 Years Later from two YouTube film critics I have been following for years, Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann. Also there's an interview from Rotten Tomatoes Trailers by Mark Ellis with actors from the movie, Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, Alfie Williams (Spike), plus a few words from director David Boyle, along with the film's writer Alex Garland about their favorite scenes.

Looper Recap of the 28 Years Later film series

Here's a quick rundown of the three movies from Looper that hit on the main points of the story, from the initial outbreak and immediate followup where the main character played by Cillian Murphy navigates his newfound reality, to the second movie, carried by Robert Carlyle, Catherine McCormack, Rose Byrne and Jeremy Renner, to the "present day" with Alfie Williams, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes.

Cillian Murphy played the lead in "28 Days Later", the original that kicked off the franchise way back in 2002. If you're unfamiliar with what he's done since, he played Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders (I could go on and on about Peaky Blinders...) and of course winning a BAFTA as well as the Best Actor Oscar for his lead role in "Oppenheimer".

In the first movie he awakens from a coma to find he's not in Kansas anymore, discovering a seemingly empty London, but then finds out he's not alone, and soon pursued by fast-moving hordes of rage monsters.

This film made zombies kind of cool again, but more terrifying than the slow, shuffling Romero-era zombies, as these ones sprinted after you to chase you down.

Not your Dad's zombies, my boy. Not at all.

By the second movie, the story switches to Robert Carlyle's character, as he and his wife (Catherine McCormack) return to England weeks later (hence the 28 Weeks Later movie title) after those infected have appeared to have all died out, but Carlyle's character finds himself forced to abandon his wife to survive as a new wave of the rage virus manifests and their home in the country is attacked by the newly infected.

He is racked by the guilt because he ran away and left his partner to die, but later finds she has miraculously survived. I won't spoil it if you haven't seen the movie yet.

Jeremy Johns Review Of 28 Years Later

I've been subbed to Jeremy Jahns' film critic channel forever now and enjoy his quirky takes on whatever movies come out. I trust him to not fluff up a film just because the actors involved are more famous than other actors but he focuses in on aspects of the film or actor in ways I think "Why didn't I see that?" Or, "Okay. I'm NOT crazy after all. This guy's sees the same weird vibe in this movie I see."

But I'm not here writing some fanboy stuff to make him better in your eyes. Either you'll enjoy his takes or you won't. Here he is describing 28 Days Later.

Odd how Jeremy got himself a haircut between the opening and main body of the video (did you notice that too?). Also, I liked the little Star Wars "jumpscare" wedged into his review. His take on the theatrical aspects of the movie (arrow heads hot parts) were interesting.

Chris Stuckmann Review Of 28 Years Later

I got "Stuckmannized" a long time back and have been subbed to Chris Stuckmann probably as long as Jeremy Jahns, and although they cover a lot of the same territory, I also like seeing what Chris has to say about the latest flicks.

Both of these guys have just over 2 million subs each and Chris also has a huge number of reviews on YouTube, so I'd be surprised if you haven't seen something he's reviewed.

Take a quick look at what he has to say about 28 Years Later and see if you agree with his take.

Many times I like hearing what Chris says about a movie because he has something of an eye for the filmmaking aspects of what he's reviewing and gives you his own slant on the movie in question. Another thing I enjoy is the way he describes whatever film he's reviewing, like an informative, short, introduction or summary.

Not a lot of words, but punchy and he gets efficiently to the point. Like in the video above. He points to Boyle's direction and brings attention to his consistency with what he did with the first movie.

Also enjoyed hearing about how much he enjoyed Alfie Williams' solid portrayal of Spike and how he fleshes out his character.

The '28 Years Later' Cast Reveal the Scenes That Scared Them the Most

The video below is Mark Ellis interviewing Ralph Fiennes and Jodie Comer for Rotten Tomatoes Trailers, followed by Alfie Williams and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played the pivotal role of Spike and Jamie, with Williams receiving a lot of credit with having done an awesome job for someone so relatively young and having little previous experience in carrying a major film.

Finally they trot out Boyle and Garland for some much deserved backslaps and kudos for again re-invigerating the zombie genre.

Always interesting to hear veteran actors like Fiennes give details like the cold body makeup causing him a little discomfort and then Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who played Spike's father Jamie) and Williams discussing the railway scene and learning to use the bows and arrows.

But what do you think about the movie? Does it stand up to the first or second? Or does it stand on its own two feet? Where do you think they'll take the story next or should there be another film in the series?

TikToker Arrested: "Its Just A Prank Bro!"

Yet another annoying "prankster" has been arrested. This time it was a guy named Kyle Vasquez from Long Island, NY, who went by the name of TommyTuffKnuckles on TikTok where he had around 112K followers (here's his Instragram although he now has zero posts: TommyTuffKnuckles) who has been charged a couple of weeks back for allegedly breaking into people's house, committing property damage and filming himself being a dumb*ss and posting it all over TikTok and this story just came up in my YouTube feed courtesy of Atozy who posted it just a few hours ago.

Take a look and weep for our future.

And Vasquez is trying to get his followers to pay the court costs for his trial. Hopefully no one will be donating to his GoFundMe because it's time for him to realize when you F Around, you Find Out.

This guy is just one of a long line of nuisance content producers masquerading as some kind of edgy prankster but like the recent case of Vitaly who faces 10 years in a Philippines jail. See the video below where he cries he's misunderstood, found religion, and desperately trying to extricate himself from the consequences of his own actions.

Next there's another clout chaser, named Johnny Somali and his situation shown in the video below is even getting worse as reports say he's now facing 29-34 years behind bars in South Korea.

Here's Charlie's Take On TommyTuffKnuckles' Arrest

Of course Penguinz0 (aka Charlie) gives a colorful kick to the solar plexus of this guy. Always like to hear what he has to say about the latest example of douchbaggery.

There's tons of videos on YouTube showing how these guys FAFO and now trying to do ANYTHING to avoid answering for their crimes. Yes, they're finding out that there will be an accounting for their own stupidity.
