The Zombie Survival Guide, written by American author Max Brooks and published in 2003, is a survival manual dealing with the fictional potentiality of a zombie attack. It contains detailed plans for the average citizen to survive zombie uprisings of varying intensity and reach, and describes "cases" of zombie outbreaks in history, including an interpretation of Roanoke Colony. The Zombie Survival Guide was also featured on The New York Times Best Seller's list.

“Stress” is a pretty heavy/speed metal classic album, constituted by excellent guitar riffs and solos, fantastic lyrical work and a lot of energy and fury. It’s not the thrash metal that “Bala” cries but it’s, for the music of that time, really extreme. If Stress had been formed in the USA or UK and sing in English instead of Portuguese, maybe it would be a giant like Venom, Motörhead and others. Re-released on LP in 2002 and cd in 2005 by Dies Irae Records. The cd version has one bonus track, Inferno Nuclear. Arguably the FIRST Heavy Metal album ever released in Brazil.

No compilation will ever be complete, exhaustive, succinct or get into all the niches and dark little corners that exist. In reducing this selection down to something fairly concise and focused instead of the enormous compendium I was tempted to do I have ended up compiling 21 tracks of US Black Metal recorded since the year 2000 – Till 2009 in alphabetical order. It comes in at 2:22:23, which I think is nice and tidy. Also worth noting – because of the unique way black metal is recorded, the sound levels and qualities between songs are unpredictable, if nothing else.
