Memes for the Creation of a New Culture

2012-02-02T11:37:00.000-08:00

Memes for the creation of a new culture is the name of my new book which is being written online. I spent a long time (5 months plus) figuring out a way to publish a book online within the constraints of my blogging system. I put up about 2 chapters worth of content at the end of last year and have been filling in gaps ever since.

Vision Thing Bruce Eisner's Blog

2011-10-29T18:54:00.000-07:00

Below the Bruce Eisner's Journal are the other sites of bruceeisner.com Historically the most popular is Bruce Eisner's Vision Thing which has been renamed Vision Thing: Bruce Eisner's Blog. Vision thing began as Brain Flashes back in January 2003. In those days, if you bought a premium Blogger membership, you could point your domain at your blogger site. This was that site. However, when Google bought Blogger, they did away with premium memberships for Blogger and so I migrated to Typepad. Now I have moved once again and am using Wordpress.

The New Bruceeisner.com patt 1

2011-10-29T10:28:00.000-07:00

The new bruceeisner.com is actually seven tits on my domain. Each of them has a seperate Wordpress installation and I have done my best to get them to work together. They do not uss Wordpress mutlisite but are actually separate installations. This takes more work on my end as I have update each of their themes and plug-ins seperatly but currently multisite-site is a bit buggy so I would prefer not to have to worry about them. At the top (or more accuratly the root) of the ring of sites is The Bruce Eisner Journal. It the Bruce Eisner Journal blog which will be an eclectic mix of what is going on in my life from day to day as well as news on new content added to the book site Memes for the Creation of a New Culture

2008-01-31T10:57:00.000-08:00

I took drupal and the forum off of Island I am using the hyperseek based links Counterculture Guide as the home page and the Island Marketplace Amazon Store as the Marketplace. I put in references to the best ofold material like the Island Electrozine and Thoughts about Huxley So far it is working better than the fancy Drupal community and Simple Macinee forum which nobody used despite all the work I did on it.

In my case, I know a little about a lot of things (and a lot about a few). I made a bunch of lenses. This is my group page which shows a lot but not all of the lenses. The ThoughtStream Biofeedback System with Mind Games Can Rock Your World

2006-03-12T10:26:00.000-08:00

ThoughtStream Portable Biofeedback Device with Mind Games Software

Biofeedack is a sophisticaled GSR biofeedback system that interfaces with your PC to turn the process of biofeedback self-control into a fun game.

According to biofeedback experts at Mind Modulations, ThoughtStream is the world's first complete personal biofeedback training system. Biofeedback allows you to see, feel or hear mind/body processes that we normally aren't consciously aware of or able to voluntarily control. It has long been accepted as one of the most effective tools available for stress control and other personal growth benefits. In the past, biofeedback was something only available by visiting a professional with hourly rates or by purchasing very expensive clinical models."

The ThoughtStream is a galvonic skin response (GSR) biofeedback training system that you can use at home. The stress we experience at home and at work has a large impact on our well-being, but our normal methods of responding to stressful events are habits that can be changed after we become more aware of them. Learning to fully relax while under pressure can have a profoundly beneficial influence on all aspects of life. "

"The ThoughtStreamcan give you a new level of self-understanding when your responses are seen or heard as they happen. ThoughtStream is designed for travel: lightweight, attractive, with a unique palm-of-the-hand sensor. A handsome carrying case, headphones, manual, Mental Games software and everything else that you need to get started is included! Two sets of levels are included with Mental Games. Level one is Psychophysiological, and level two is Sensomotoric. Level one is a group of conventional biofeedback exercises. Here you can move objects on the screen as you learn to relax you body and focus your mind. Level two consists of a number of independent modules designed to actively train your responses.
