WASHINGTON—In what federal prosecutors assure us is just a routine exercise of bureaucratic paperwork and definitely not a deep dive into an episode of 'Maury', the Department of Justice revealed in a new court filing that Representative Ilhan Omar (Anti-Semite) answers to an alias matching her former spouse, who is also very possibly her brother based on damning evidence.

The DOJ filed a motion asking a judge to stall on unsealing the search warrant from last week's raid on her Washington, D.C., residence. According to prosecutors, federal agents simply have too many boxes of documents left to sift through before they can share the details with the fourteen news organizations demanding transparency.

Naturally, the filing dropped a casual plot twist that left political pundits moist. Prosecutors referred to the Minnesota Democrat as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, aka Ilhan Abdullahi Omar," leaving out any explanation for the alternate moniker and giving immigration historians a fresh batch of mysteries to solve.

The October 12 raid followed an earlier seizure of a phone belonging to Omar's sister, Sahra Noor, a woman who, in her book "Salt in the Snow" as well as related interviews, described America’s “insidious” relationship with race and the imposition of binary racial labels at the border.

Investigators are reportedly hunting for the original paperwork Omar and her father completed upon entering the United States, as well as looking into potential immigration fraud. [Babylon Bee said that Omar didn't marry her brother for immigration purposes, but out of love.]

Omar maintains she became a U.S. citizen at age 17 when her father supposedly became a naturalized citizen in 2000. However, critics have pointed out that congressional staff conveniently changed her birth year from 1981 to 1982 in official directories. Under the laws of that era, the math dictates whether she actually qualified for citizenship through her father, assuming investigators can find any trace of his naturalization records, which a 2023 search failed to turn up. Meanwhile, there are no records that her now dead father ever was a naturalized citizen.

Investigative reporting previously uncovered that Omar’s father, Nur Omar Mohamed, served as a colonel under Somalian communist dictator Siad Barre, a detail that somehow got left out of her descriptions of him as a humble educator. [Not so Fun Fact: Under that regime, over 200,000 Somalis were slaughtered.]

Homeland Security agents reportedly hauled away electronics and documents from the home. Omar is now demanding her passport and computers back, insisting the entire probe is politically motivated and that President Trump is weaponizing the federal government against her.

Naturally, the congresswoman addressed the crisis on Wednesday by releasing a tearful video begging supporters for cash, pretending to be broke. [It's rumored that she yanked out a nose hair in order to induce her tears.]

“It is going to be a very expensive and challenging time,” she said, asking for zakath of $5, $10, or $20, or pay a jizya, if you happen to be non-Muslim.

Records indicate the investigation into her finances and dealings actually kicked off during the Biden administration in 2024, proving that even friendly administrations sometimes lose track of bureaucratic housekeeping.

Man Accused of Killing Former Trump Adviser's Mother Arraigned on Hate Crime Charges for Targeting Kosher Bagel Shop

Dawood Faisal, 22, [peas be up in him] was arraigned Monday on hate crime charges for twice vandalizing a kosher bagel shop in Queens that displayed Israeli flags. The incidents came days before he allegedly caused the fatal crash that killed Cara Trager, the mother of a former Trump Middle East adviser.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz charged Faisal with two counts of criminal mischief in the third degree as a hate crime for the May 15 and May 23 incidents at Bagels & Co. in the heavily Jewish Fresh Meadows neighborhood.

Prosecutors say he targeted the Jewish-owned shop on Union Turnpike because of the Israeli flags and banners. On May 15 he knocked over nine metal plant stands, spilled dirt and plants onto the sidewalk, and threw dirt at the storefront twice. He returned around 1 a.m. on May 23, pushed and kicked 11 metal plant stands, emptied their contents, and uprooted plants from a large clay pot after failing to knock it over.

“As alleged, Dawood Faisal, repeatedly targeted a Fresh Meadows business specifically because it is Jewish-owned and featured Israeli flags, and destroyed property as an expression of antisemitism,” Katz said in a statement. “Bias crimes are an affront to our entire community and will not be tolerated.”

Queens Supreme Court Justice Michael Hartofilis ordered Faisal to return to court on November 12. Conviction on the hate crime charges carries up to seven years in prison.

Faisal already faces manslaughter and assault charges from the May 25 crash. Prosecutors allege he drove a Toyota Prius more than 75 mph in a 35 mph zone, ran at least two red lights, and collided with two vehicles on Francis Lewis Boulevard. One vehicle was sent into a crosswalk, striking Cara Trager, 71, and her husband Michael as they walked home from dinner. Cara suffered severe head trauma and died four days later. Michael sustained a shoulder injury, cuts to his hands, and facial bruising. Faisal pleaded not guilty to those charges after his June indictment.

The second bagel shop incident occurred just two days before the crash. Cara’s daughter, Rachel Sales, later wrote that her mother had discussed the vandalism with her shortly beforehand. The family has questioned whether authorities could have intervened after the alleged attacks and prevented the death. Officials are not treating the crash as a hate crime.

Michael Trager told The Daily Wire in August that the circumstances warrant scrutiny given the neighborhood and the timing. “My contention is that the area itself is very, very Jewish,” he said. “It’s Bukharian, it’s a Russian Jewish area, and most of the people who were eyewitnesses, the people who detained him, were Bukharian Jews.”

He described the moment of the crash. “The first thing I did was I started punching myself to say, ‘Oh, gee, I’m still alive here,’” Michael recalled. “Then I saw that my wife was dead. I couldn’t believe it happened because I didn’t do anything wrong. We were crossing the street, and next thing I know, I’m on the ground with my wife.”

Michael attended Faisal’s initial arraignment days after the crash while Cara was hospitalized and dying. “I was afraid that my wife was going to officially die when I’m at the arraignment, but I went,” he said. Faisal’s family was present. His mother repeatedly cried in the courtroom. “I’m thinking to myself, ‘What are you crying for? Are you crying for your son, or are you crying because your son killed my wife? Why are you crying?’” Michael said.

Authorities told Michael that Faisal was neither working nor attending school and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Michael noted that an act of that nature in that area at that time made it more likely the victim would be Jewish, though he acknowledged it did not prove specific targeting. “If you’re going to do that kind of act in that area, at that time, you’re more than likely, if you’re going to kill somebody, to kill a Jew,” he said.

Cara Trager was a longtime Queens journalist active in the Jewish community. She wrote for Newsday, the New York Post, and Crain’s New York Business and produced materials for organizations including UJA-Federation of New York and the Jewish Theological Seminary.

NYPD data for July showed Jews were the targets of nearly 70% of confirmed hate crimes reported in New York City that month, despite making up roughly 10% of the city’s population.

Ilhan Omar, confronted with the rumor that she once married her own brother, offered the reassuring reply "Not to my knowledge."

The Minnesota Democrat told MS NOW's Chris Hayes that the recent federal raid on her Washington home was simply an attempt to excite Republican voters and frighten her supporters.

She rejected the claim that her 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi was arranged to game the immigration system, and she denied that the two of them are related. Asked directly whether any family connection existed, she said, "Not to my knowledge."

This was her first media appearance since Homeland Security Investigations agents searched the residence on October 12 under a warrant signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Matthew J. Sharbaugh. Her office has ignored repeated requests for comment from Fox News Digital. The Justice Department has released no public description of the allegations, which center on possible false statements in her immigration and naturalization paperwork.

"It all started with the Somali blog," Omar told Hayes. "Somebody put it there, that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect."

She has labeled the entire probe political. After the search she released a video filmed from the back seat of a car in which she urged donors to keep the contributions coming. Federal authorities have served more than a dozen grand jury subpoenas, including to members of her family, and seized her cellphone, according to the Associated Press. Fox News Digital reported that her sister, Sahra Noor, spoke with investigators last week.

A separate inquiry, opened in 2024 under the Biden administration, is examining her campaign finances and personal financial disclosures. A complaint about the gap between her reported income and assets was dismissed by House ethics officials but is now under review by the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Jeanine Pirro.

Both investigations continue.

Washington School District Ordered to Pay $275,000, Apologize After Making Christian Students Hide Bibles

A Washington school district has agreed to pay $275,000 in attorney’s fees, issue a public apology, and provide religious liberty training to its school board after requiring elementary students participating in an off-campus Bible program to conceal their religious materials.

Apparently, the Constitution’s protection of religious freedom became a little too inconvenient for the people running the local schools.

Everett Public Schools reached the settlement with LifeWise Academy following a federal lawsuit challenging restrictions imposed on the nonprofit’s voluntary Bible instruction program. The agreement requires the district to keep its public apology on its website for six months, giving taxpayers plenty of time to appreciate what their money has accomplished.

According to First Liberty Institute, which represented LifeWise alongside Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, the district imposed weekly parental reauthorization requirements, excluded LifeWise from community events and flyer displays, and required students to keep Bibles and other materials from the program sealed inside their backpacks.

LifeWise provides privately funded religious instruction off school property during the school day with parental permission. The program apparently presented a serious administrative challenge for school officials: allowing parents to make religious choices for their own children without the district getting in the way.

The dispute became even more revealing when school board member Charles Adkins publicly announced his feelings about the organization.

“I want to make it very, extremely, abundantly clear, that yes, I do in fact hold animus toward LifeWise Academy.”

Subtlety may not have been his strong suit, but at least nobody had to guess where he stood.

The case had already produced an April 24 preliminary injunction from US District Judge Lauren King, who granted the plaintiffs’ request in part. Her ruling addressed restrictions extending beyond the requirement that children conceal their Bibles.

The district had demanded that LifeWise remove a photograph of a boy praying from a proposed flyer, claiming it could be viewed as proselytizing. King found that excluding the photograph constituted viewpoint discrimination. Apparently, a photograph of a child praying was too controversial for a school district that was perfectly capable of handling other community announcements.

The court also examined the district’s response to a community member who compared LifeWise to the Nazi Party during an August 2025 school board meeting. Board President Traci Mitchell thanked the commenter and later emailed that the individual’s comments and call for action had been heard. King considered those responses evidence supporting the claim that the district harbored hostility toward LifeWise.

The district argued that Adkins did not speak on its behalf. King nevertheless found his expressed hostility relevant because the school board had a role in approving the guidelines.

That distinction apparently failed to make the problem disappear. When a board helps establish the rules and one of its members openly announces hostility toward the organization affected by those rules, a judge might reasonably want to examine the relationship between the two.

The district’s permission requirements also had consequences for students. The court cited evidence presented by the plaintiffs documenting more than 15 instances, across nearly a dozen occasions, in which children were prevented from attending LifeWise because of the new rules.

School officials defended their restrictions by arguing that materials students brought back from the program caused classroom disruptions. King questioned that justification, describing the reports in the record as few, vague, and secondhand. The court also noted the absence of an explanation as to whether officials had first attempted to address the alleged disruptions by admonishing the students involved.

In other words, the district imposed burdens on a religious program and its participants without presenting particularly convincing evidence that the restrictions were necessary.

The preliminary injunction required the district to provide LifeWise with equal access to community fairs and printed-flyer displays. It also required a semester-long parental permission option identifying authorized dates and adults, along with permission for the children of plaintiff Sarah Sweeny to read LifeWise materials when other nonacademic reading was allowed.

The district has now agreed to settle the lawsuit and issue a public apology acknowledging the consequences of its policies.

In its statement, Everett Public Schools admitted that its implementation of the policies created difficulties for participating families, particularly regarding student release procedures and the handling of religious materials. The district also acknowledged that comments made at school board meetings, including remarks from board members, had been offensive and hurtful.

“We recognize that these statements negatively affected the exercise of your faith,” the district stated.

The apology was signed by Superintendent Ian Saltzman and all five school board members. The district said the settlement would avoid prolonged litigation and further expenditures of public resources while ensuring compliance with its constitutional obligations to students and families.

The payment will come from the district’s general fund, according to The Everett Herald. The school board approved the settlement on October 13 without admitting wrongdoing.

So taxpayers will cover $275,000 in legal fees, the district will publish an apology, and its school board will receive religious liberty training. All because officials managed to turn children attending voluntary Bible instruction into a policy problem serious enough to attract federal litigation.

The First Amendment does not require public schools to endorse Christianity. It does, however, prevent government officials from treating religious expression as an unwelcome nuisance simply because they dislike its message.

That distinction should not require a federal judge, a costly lawsuit, and a six-month public apology to explain it to the people entrusted with educating children.

Well, Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) dropped the hammer with H.R. 7359, the Somalia Immigration Moratorium Act, on February 4, 2026. The measure would tweak the Immigration and Nationality Act so that, with a handful of exceptions, no one who is a citizen or national of Somalia could get a visa or any immigration status for 25 years after the bill becomes law.

Sounds like a good plan, but he should have gone for 50 years in my humble opinion.

Those exceptions cover people already here legally plus a few diplomatic and nonimmigrant categories. The bill also blocks Somali nationals from certain forms of withholding-of-removal relief. It has already been sent to the House Judiciary Committee, where it picked up cosponsors Mary Miller, Randy Fine, Andy Biggs, and Clay Higgins.

Gill has been out selling the idea by pointing to the usual data: sky-high welfare use, almost no English, serial fraud cases (Minnesota has been especially helpful), and the complete absence of anything resembling assimilation.

Progressives immediately labeled the whole thing a hate crime. It's surprising they didn't simply call Gill a racist and save time.

Democratic Florida Mayor arrested on charges of grand theft and scheme to defraud

KISSIMMEE, FL — In a stunning display of bureaucratic innovation, Kissimmee Mayor Eva Jacquelyn Espinosa was arrested on charges of Grand Theft and Organized Scheme to Defraud after allegedly treating federal COVID relief funds like a personal loyalty rewards program to the tune of $50,000 from a city initiative she personally championed.

Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrest Wednesday morning in a post on X.

During a press conference, Uthmeier detailed how the mayor treated public office as a family checking account despite clear warnings that self-dealing was frowned upon.

"Public officials do not get to write the rules and then write themselves a check," Uthmeier said. "The mayor used her position to push a COVID relief grant program, then took $50,000 from it for her family's businesses after being warned it was prohibited."

Investigators noted that Espinosa assumed office in November 2024 and wasted zero time advocating for and voting on the creation and expansion of the City of Kissimmee's Business Boost 2.0 program. Financed by federal American Rescue Plan Act dollars, the program was ostensibly designed to aid struggling small businesses in the municipality.

True to form, the moment the program opened for applications in September 2025, Espinosa and her immediate family members dutifully submitted paperwork for three businesses under their control, requesting a cool $50,000. Approval came swiftly, and the cash landed in accounts linked to the Espinosa clan on Nov. 7, 2025.

When the city attorney pointed out a minor conflict of interest on Dec. 5, 2025, suggesting she return the loot, Espinosa politely declined, announced she would fight any complaints, and kept right on moving.

"The voters put their trust in their public officials to do what is best for their community, not what is best for themselves," said Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia. "Jackie Espinosa abused that trust and cashed in at the taxpayers' expense."

The resulting warrant slaps Espinosa with one count of Grand Theft for amounts between $20,000 and $100,000, classified as a second-degree felony, alongside a count of Organized Scheme to Defraud of $50,000 or more, which is a first-degree felony. The joint investigation was a team effort by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Florida Department of Financial Services Criminal Investigations Division.

The case will be handled in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit by Office of Statewide Prosecution Public Integrity Unit Special Counsel Richard Mantei.

El Sayed doubles down on anti-Semitic stance and vows to make America France again

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed has a message for American voters: Israel is not America’s friend, and apparently the best person to explain this is a candidate whose own political baggage keeps generating uncomfortable questions.

But he doesn't tend to answer questions himself. When asked at a town hall meeting whether he denounces Hamas, he did not give an emphatic "yes, I denounce Hamas," but instead said "yes, sure," and then began asking the questioner about his knowledge of the US Constitution [and 'yadda, yadda. squirrel, squirrel'].

In an interview with ABC News (D) on Monday, El-Sayed doubled down on his anti-Israel/anti-Semitic rhetoric, arguing that the Jewish state is not an ally of the United States. His evidence? An analogy involving a freeloading friend who steals money from your children and starts fights with the neighborhood.

“An ally that takes your money to push you into wars you shouldn’t be fighting is not an ally,” he argued, leaving out the uncomfortable issue regarding the October 7, 2023 when Hamas massacred about 1,200 Israeli men, women, children and babies--what people with a functioning cortex would label genocide.

El-Sayed then expanded on his theory of international relations, comparing Israel to a friend who “keeps bumming off [your kids’ money] and then talks about them behind their back and gets them into fights with their other friends.” He evidently doesn't view Israel as a crucial Middle East ally. Perhaps he would like France in that role in the future once the Islamists and communists burn Paris down along with a bunch of other major French cities.

Apparently, decades of strategic cooperation, intelligence sharing, and regional security concerns can all be reduced to the sort of playground dispute normally settled by confiscating someone's lunch money.

“What would you tell your kid?” he asked the reporter. “You’d probably tell them, ‘Maybe that’s not actually your friend.’” Actually, for El Sayed, the Muslim Brotherhood is his friend but he won't admit it.

“I think it’s time for us to realize that Israel is actually not our friend,” he concluded. 'Viva la France and burn baby burn,' his brain whispers.

The declaration offers Michigan voters a revealing preview of El-Sayed’s foreign policy priorities. Israel, a longstanding American ally, our best ally, is to be judged according to a schoolyard morality play, while the candidate delivering the lecture presumably expects voters to regard his own political associations and family controversies as matters requiring considerably more nuance.

The timing is also worth noting.

El-Sayed’s comments follow renewed accusations concerning his sister-in-law, Miriam Jukaku, who was reportedly involved in a federal terrorist watchlist lawsuit during the Obama administration. It's unknown as to whether she has a history of burning buildings in Paris or the USA, but she's what the kids call a jihadist.

El-Sayed dismissed the allegations when speaking to Fox News, insisting that she had done nothing wrong and suggesting that Islamophobia explained her designation.

"You've got this system where folks are guilty until proven innocent because they've got different kinds of names, because of the infrastructure that people like [Michigan Republican Senate candidate] Mike Rogers set up,” he said.

That is quite a defense of due process, although voters might reasonably wonder whether El-Sayed applies the same generous presumption of innocence when discussing America's allies. Israel, at least in his telling, appears to have been convicted without much of a trial.

The Democratic nominee has also faced scrutiny over alleged family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Those allegations have added another layer of controversy to a campaign already marked by his increasingly hostile rhetoric toward Israel.

El-Sayed's remarks have not gone unnoticed among American Jewish leaders, some of whom are increasingly concerned about what his political ascent could mean for Jewish communities in Michigan and beyond.

Rabbis and other Jewish leaders have called on the Democratic Party to adopt a list of “nonnegotiable” principles for Jewish safety ahead of the November midterm elections. Their concerns reflect growing unease over whether a party that has historically enjoyed substantial support from Jewish voters is prepared to confront the consequences of its own anti-Israel rhetoric. Lately, of course, the Democratic Party has voiced enough anti-Israel/anti-Semitic rhetoric to make a skinhead blush.

Meanwhile, the Michigan Senate race has left some Democratic voters searching for alternatives. Students who identify as Democrats at the University of Michigan have recently joined the campaign as well, apparently hoping to influence a contest that has become increasingly uncomfortable for voters who support their party but remain unwilling to accept its hostility toward Israel without question.

For El-Sayed, the strategy seems straightforward: portray Israel as the troublesome friend, suggest that American taxpayers are being taken advantage of, and invite voters to reconsider a relationship that has endured across multiple administrations.

Whether Michigan voters find that argument persuasive remains to be seen. But El-Sayed has made one thing clear: if elected to the Senate, he intends to bring a rather different understanding of America's alliances to Washington, one in which a longtime democratic partner is cast as the neighborhood bully and the candidate making the accusation expects to be taken seriously as a judge of international character.

FLUSHING, N.Y. — Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz showed up in a surprise visit at two New York City senior care centers suspected of treating Medicaid like an open bar tab, and the staff responses landed somewhere between "the computer did it" and "please come back after lunch when the room looks fuller."

Fox News Digital tagged along as federal officials delivered the kind of warning letters that tend to make billing departments check the exits.

Oz and senior federal health officials handed the notices to Kent Senior Care and Evergreen Adult Day Care in Flushing, Queens, causing several severe cases of loose stools, and not the kind you sit in unless you're very weird.

The visits formed part of a wider sweep that put the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, the NYPD and other agencies on the same Tuesday itinerary. More than 80 stops and warning letters went out across the city that day.

Taxpayers who fund the programs received no such courtesy tour.

"The whole experience was suspicious," Oz told Fox News Digital afterward.

Authorities described a broader effort that included arrests, search warrants and moves to halt certain operators from billing Medicaid, although these steps at the two Queens, NY sites were not observed directly by Fox News Digital.

Oz questions senior center director: 'We don't believe you'

The first stop, around 8:30 a.m. at Kent Senior Care, when residents were likely in the throes of being cleaned up, began with Oz walking in and personally delivering the federal letter. The posted maximum occupancy was 70. The room did not appear to be testing that number.

"The bills are much higher than they should be," Oz told the director. "The billing is for more people. It doesn't look very crowded here."

The director claimed that more seniors would arrive later. Oz noted the paperwork suggested something closer to this being the perpetual capacity.

"The bills we're getting are as though it's completely full all the time," Oz said. So something stank, much like these places at 8:30 in the morning.

The director insisted the center billed only for actual attendance and required sign-in sheets. Oz was unmoved.

"You're getting this letter from the U.S. Government because we don't believe you," he told the director.

Billing records indicated five-day-a-week participation. The director said many seniors came only two or three days. When the conversation turned to specialized wheelchair transportation charges, Oz looked around the room.

"I don't see any wheelchairs here," Oz told the director.

Fox News Digital saw seniors using walking aids but no wheelchairs during the visit. Another official noted the billing for specialized transport. The director said some participants had mobility issues after strokes, that wheelchairs were available, and that staff might have reused old codes.

"Probably he just copy and pasted," the director said, lying like an abandoned sofa by Coney Islamd Creek.

Oz then walked over to the mahjong tables set up for the Medicaid-funded program.

"Should the American taxpayers be paying so folks can play mahjong?" Oz asked the director.

This has been spurred on by Muslim migrants, as opposed to "students" the left would like us to believe. The Communist News Network (CNN) is calling the worst rioting and destruction France has experienced in years "mostly peaceful." Seriously. And these leftist morons are blaming the cause of the violence, arson and widespread looting on school conditions and the cost of living. And while the mayhem was and is currently taking place, France's President Emmanuel Macron along with his wife [who has bigger balls than he has] went to a Celine Dion concert.

In terms of the destruction mentioned above, Limoges was a 19th-Century City Hall. It was deliberately set ablaze which caused its roof and clock tower to collapse, the structure mostly destroyed by mostly peaceful terrorists.

In other mostly peaceful protests, there's Lyon, where the tourist office was torched. In Marseille, the city hall was stormed, sprayed with graffiti, doors destroyed, furniture damaged and shops in the city, including the Olympique de Marseille, were mostly peacefully looted.

Nationwide in France, between 1,500 to 3,000 shops and businesses were looted or vandalized. Supermarkets, pharmacies, stores, luxury boutiques, electronic stores, cars, bikes, garbage bins, and barricades were peacefully burned.

Not surprisingly, looted goods appeared on resale platforms.

At least two deaths linked to the mostly peaceful protests have been recorded thus far. Mathieu Morat, a 22-year-old police officer was killed by a vehicle while pursuing fleeing mostly peaceful folks. At least two people lost hands from a police crowd-control grenade. A 17-year-old girl lost an eye in Mulhouse.

Roughly 500 to nearly 1,000 officers, gendarmes, firefighters, and paramedics injured (one tally cited ~997, with several serious). Earlier partial figures were lower (150–600+). Hundreds of civilians were also injured in the mostly peaceful clashes.

With these peaceful protests as CNN calls them, we can predict with confidence, that they will once again make an appearance at a city near you. . . unless we act now.

Mahmoud Khalil Runs to the Supreme Court, Hoping for a Judicial Lifeline

Anti-Israel activist Mahmoud "Free Palestine" Khalil is asking the Supreme Court to rescue him from a legal predicament that could allow the Trump administration to arrest him again. After months of legal maneuvering, the Columbia University anti-Semitic scumwafer protest leader is now hoping the nation’s highest court will intervene before immigration authorities get another opportunity to enforce a deportation order against him.

Yes, they hate America but hate it more when told to leave it.

In an X post on Monday, comrade Khalil announced that his legal team had filed a petition, declaring that he has “asked the Supreme Court to affirm that federal courts have the power to hear my case.”

Khalil claims the government has no legitimate case against him and accused the Trump administration of trying to keep federal judges from examining the evidence.

“The government knows all too well that its baseless allegations and smears against me cannot survive the slightest scrutiny in federal court,” the Islamist said. “That’s why it is doing everything it can to keep those courts from looking at my case and to channel it into its kangaroo immigration courts.”

Apparently, when the immigration system produces a result Khalil dislikes, it becomes a kangaroo court. The label is a convenient substitute for addressing the substance of the proceedings, particularly when an immigration judge has already ordered his deportation.

Khalil then broadened his argument into a sweeping warning about free speech, portraying his legal battle as a threat to the constitutional rights of Americans everywhere. Except for the little issue of his not being an American and hating on the government.

“So the question is simple: can the government weaponize immigration laws to punish someone’s speech, then tell federal courts they have no power to step in? If the answer is yes, none of our speech is safe. If the Trump administration can punish someone for pro-Palestine speech, this or any future administration can punish anyone for any speech,” the execrable post-digestive waste of a human said.

That is a dramatic constitutional argument from an activist whose case involves far more than a generic disagreement over political expression.

Khalil, a Syrian-born green card holder of Palestinian descent, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in March 2025 after helping lead anti-Israel protests at Columbia University. The Department of Homeland Security accused him of participating in activities that were “aligned to Hamas.”

The distinction matters. The administration has argued that the immigration consequences of Khalil’s case concern national interests and immigration law, while Khalil insists the government is retaliating against his political speech. His Supreme Court petition seeks to keep federal courts involved in resolving that dispute.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously argued that Khalil’s “presence or activities would compromise a compelling U.S. foreign policy interest” and vowed to strip the immigration status of foreign “Hamas supporters.”

“We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported,” Rubio said.

The administration's position is hardly mysterious. A green card grants a foreign national lawful permanent resident status, but it does not confer immunity from immigration law or guarantee that the government can never seek deportation. The legal question is whether the administration has acted within its authority and whether Khalil can challenge those actions in federal court.

Presenting his program to lawmakers, Akhlaghi promised to rebuild Iran’s military-industrial infrastructure, accelerate the development of defense technologies, and expand cooperation with private companies. The regime, it seems, intends to get its weapons factories back in business and make sure the next round of threats comes with an upgraded arsenal.

He also delivered the customary warning to Washington, declaring, "If the American enemy makes another miscalculation, the response of the valiant Iranian people and the fighters of Islam will be surprising and extensive,"

Two dead by woman driving truck onto soccer field--one victim was a child

Two people, including a child, were killed Saturday afternoon when a 34-year-old woman drove a truck onto a soccer field in Wichita, Kansas.

Authorities said emergency dispatchers began receiving calls around 3:25 p.m. Central time reporting that a vehicle had driven through a soccer game at Stryker Sports Complex. Police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, where two people were pronounced dead—a child and an adult.

“The vehicle involved in this incident remained at the scene and the driver of that vehicle is currently in our custody. There is no additional ongoing threat to the public from that driver,” said Wichita Police Captain Aaron Moses at a press conference. “Our officers along with law enforcement from the area, Wichita fire department, and Sedgwick County EMS responded to the scene,” he added.

Eleven other people were taken to area hospitals. Ten suffered traumatic injuries ranging from bruises to severe injuries, though authorities said none were believed to be life-threatening. The injured included two 5-year-olds, two 8-year-olds, and a 9-year-old girl. Authorities believe the driver had a child playing soccer elsewhere at the complex. “We believe that she had a child who was playing soccer here today, but not on that field,” Moses added. Moses said the woman was “cooperative” with investigators as they worked to determine a motive.

“We have a really good idea of what happened. What we’re working to do now is do the investigation to determine how it happened and why,” Moses said. “We know people want the answers to those questions. We also need to determine the answer to those questions.”

Bystanders pulled the woman from the truck. Two children were reportedly in the backseat.

Wichita police urged anyone with video from the incident to submit tips through its website. “We are seeking any video related to the tragic incident that occurred at the Stryker Sports Complex on October 17, 2026.” the police department said. “Even if you think it might be insignificant, please upload it at the link provided or scan the QR code.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) wants federal authorities to return the passport, computers, cellphone, and other personal belongings seized from her home during a criminal investigation. Her attorneys are also demanding recordings of the search, apparently hoping to establish that the government’s investigation is as improper as they insist it is.

On Monday, agents from the Department of Homeland Security searched Omar’s residence after obtaining a warrant approved by a federal judge. According to The Wall Street Journal, agents seized several items, including her cellphone, notebooks, personal computers, and passport.

Omar’s legal team responded Friday with a letter to the Justice Department demanding the immediate return of the property and declaring that the investigation has no legitimate foundation.

“There is no legitimate basis for any suggestion that she has violated any law concerning her citizenship status,” her attorneys wrote.

They then accused the administration of conducting a politically motivated campaign against one of President Donald Trump’s most prominent congressional critics.

“This vindictive, retributive, and politically motivated criminal investigation into one of the President’s chief congressional critics violates Representative Omar’s constitutional rights and threatens the separation of powers,” they added.

Her lawyers also objected to the timing of the search, arguing that investigators deliberately acted during the final weeks before the midterm elections, when voters will decide whether Omar deserves another term in Congress.
