We manage to take a very short break from Skyrim to bring you episode 14! You can get it here or on iTunes.

We cover Skyrim (obviously), Uncharted 3, Saints Row 3, Dark Souls, Dead Island, Mass Effect 3 with the usual random banter about shopping etiquette, old people and dildo katana's.

Podcast #13 "Dead Holiday"

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Sun, 30 Oct 2011 13:23:00 +0000

It's with strange circumstance that the 13th episode of the podcast falls on Halloween! What is stranger is the content this time around (casual nuditiy anyone?) You can get it from iTunes or from this link here.

In it we cover why Halloween is a pretty rubbish event along with the usual gaming news. A fair amount of anime discussion comes up as Flik talks about Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkachi. We also go over the familir arguements; Andoid vs iPhone, Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3 and how best to deal with trick or treaters!

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Sat, 15 Oct 2011 15:16:00 +0000

Yup new podcast is up over here and also on iTunes. We go off on quite a rant about how Dark Souls has been a disappointment but also why the culture of video game reviewing is pretty crap right now.

We also find out a bit about Flik's childhood records and what you should not say to your partner's mother (in her own language!)

A couple of links relevant to this cast: GLaDOSiri on iPhone 4S and Flik's official review of Dark Souls.

Podcast #11 "Psychopath"

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Sun, 02 Oct 2011 13:34:00 +0000

Managing to stay on schedule, episode 11 is here or over on iTunes now!

In it we cover a lot of ground with our gaming calendar getting very busy. Cue plenty of Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Dead Island and Aliens: Colonial Marines chat.

Flik brings some startling evidence to my attention that proves we are both psychopaths and we try to discover why all dwarves are Scottish....

Yes, after a long break where I went on holiday, episode 10 is finally here! You can find it here or search for brain go hurty on iTunes.

This episode covers a lot of Dead Island details since we are playing it a fair bit, Flik gets asked how he got into gaming journalism, and the Irish contingent of B:GH join us for a jolly few minutes.

As always, questions and comments are welcome, please direct any of these to braingohurty@gmail.com and I WILL answer every email (I promise!)

We talk a little bit about some of our favourite movies from the past, here are a couple of links to clips from these: Airplane! and Murder by Death.

During the episode, I mention a building I saw in Abu Dhabi, here is said picture - thats painted on to look cel-shaded, not actually brickwork!

Podcast #9 "Dey of Secks"

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Thu, 01 Sep 2011 20:11:00 +0000

Yes we have put this one up a little early as I am off on holiday soon. You can get it here or on iTunes, whichever floats your boat.

So, podcast number nine. Still in the "lack-of-any-new-games" time (except Flik and Deus Ex) and we battle on. This time we finally reveal our thoughts on Space Marine having finally played the demo after hyping it up for months, the result of which is suprising.

We talk a little about the following video:

Hi there, it's that time again! Episode 8 of the B:GH podcast is here (don't all rush out for it at once) or on iTunes (whichever takes your fancy).

In it we talk about CR's brother Maz and his ventriloquist chair, why guns and killing people are unnecessary in Deus Ex and why you should have kids clothing branded with alcohol.

So what is this "pig noise"? Go hear it over here.

Flik makes reference to a Deus Ex video which can be found here.

Yes that's right, podcast number 6 is now available on iTunes or here. Flik and I continue to battle the summer slump in gaming and amuse ourselves with tales of PC upgrades, slate certain developers for being thieving gits and somewhere find the time to drag CR and his brother into a game of Left 4 Dead 2.

Keeping with my trend, I have been working too much and filling free time with Team Fortress 2 (blame Flik) so posts have been less frequent. I haven't uploaded a video to Youtube in a while either (also trying to rectify this evening).

So what's been happening? Mostly TF2 really, we are on target to do another podcast this weekend, prepare for the most random one yet I reckon. Serious game drought means we will probably rant about the crap that annoys us and possibly tell the odd tale.

If you have any questions or suggestions, you can email braingohurty@gmail.com , hit up our youtube channels http://www.youtube.com/user/Blightywarrior or http://www.youtube.com/user/Flikffxi or alternatively you can reach us on twitter @Blightywarrior and @GamerIanD

Podcast #5

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Sun, 10 Jul 2011 15:37:00 +0000

Ok so perhaps I have been lacking in my blogging duties lately. I'll make up for it by announcing podcast #5 is here or on iTunes!

In it we ramble on about how there are no decent games out right now and fill in some space with some random Left 4 Dead audio.

I test out a new soundproofing mechanism (see attached image) and Flik brings up La Noire (again!)

We are also looking for someone to do a decent logo for the podcast, please send us your work to braingohurty@gmail.com

Podcast #4 - That morality thingy

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Sat, 25 Jun 2011 16:54:00 +0000

Hello!

As promised, we have stuck with the fortnightly updates and the fourth podcast can be found on iTunes or here.

In it we cover what we have been up to post-E3 and ponder morality in gaming. Flik expresses his opinions on religious advertising (to my amusement) and I let slip the day I showed my bare arse to some Jehovahs witnesses.... I am also put through an alignment test to see just how evil I am, you can find this here

The following images are also referred to in the podcast,

If you have any questions, comments, interesting insults, or a topic you think we should cover, email us at braingohurty@gmail.com or visit our channels (Blightywarrior or Flikffxi). You can also follow us on twitter @Blightywarrior and @GamerIanD

Podcast #3 is here!

braingohurty@gmail.com (Blighty) — Sun, 12 Jun 2011 21:10:00 +0000

Yes a weekend of furious editing and the b:gh podcast is finally up! You can find it here or alternatively, it is available on iTunes.

In it we cover our round up of E3 2011, focusing on what we liked (and disliked).

Flik points out in the cast that a particular developer gets away with swearing, you can find a video of that here: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/animus-and-assassins-creed/58266.

As always, if you have any comments or questions you would like us to answer during the cast, email braingohurty@gmail.com

Podcast #3

If you have any questions or comments, you can email braingohurty@gmail.com, we would especially like to hear YOUR views on E3 - What do you think about the Wii U, PS Vita etc
