I just found this faux DRIVE comic book cover. I would love to see the entire movie made in an entire comic book. I think the movie would make an awesome comic book. By the way this movie was excellent and there was an 1980`s feeling to it!

Captain America: The First Avenger - Movie review

Captain America was exactly like I thought it would look like, a really Patriotic movie for the American people made via the comic books of Captain America. But That is what Captain America is all about and watching this movie made me feel nostalgic about the 1940`s. The plot was not so complicated and you could see the story unfolding a hundred miles before it actually did but it was honest, true and fairview of the Captain America comic books. For this reason I really love Marvel productions for their movies because they keep it real even if it gets a lil cheesy some times.

Don`t ask me how Captain america suddenly got all these fight skills. My answer would be his compassionate heart drives him to the point of being invicible to any ennemies.The pictures were good, leading roles were ok and Tommy Lee Jones brought a good feeling into this cool flick. Now all I want to do is watch the Avengers since they have been teasing us this much. I give it 5 out of 5 stars considering it was a Marvel universe movie that really was honest to this Hero.

THOR - Movie review

Yesterday my girlfrend and I decided to finally watch THOR the movie on DVD. I love Marvel movies but some people don't feel this way all the time about them. This movie was an introduction of THOR on Cinema but for a bigger purpose for the upcoming of the movie "THE AVENGERS". This movie has a tremendous story potential but everything is set up so fast yet so slowly. During the first 3/4 of the Flick, you only wish THOR would use his powers, but I wont spoiled the ending, it just took a lot of time to finally see some real action. When it came, we were served, I am kinda patient about stories when I see that there is a bigger picture to it and for that reason I did enjoy the slow parts of the movie cause they was actually a reason why it is this way.

Thor is the son of Odin another GOD (and the first time I got to know Odin was in the game Final Fantasy on nintendo where you could summon him). Seeing Anthony Hopkins as odin was totally awesome, tho, the acting didn't seem so hard to play, I felt like Anthony succeeded fully to make THOR a serious piece of the Marvel franchise.

The more I think about this movie the more I am keen to believe it was a success, I do agree some people won't like it but as a comic book reader, I am aware of longer chapters and stories slowly unfolding. Thor was like numerous comic books put together and it felt like a real comic book. I give it 4 stars out of 5.

Cloud vortices

Cloud vortices are produced “when air moving over the smooth ocean surface is forced over some obstacle, like an island. The disturbance creates eddies in the air, which have blown the clouds into the pattern seen here. At the center of each eddy is a dark, cloud-free circle, which gets progressively smaller as the turbulence in the air subsides.”

These phenomena are also known as Von Karman vortices. “Von Karman vortices form nearly everywhere that fluid flow is disturbed by an object.”The images show a cloud vortex swirling behind Jan Mayen Island in the Greenland Sea, another one near Heard Island, in the Indian Ocean and two formed by the winds rushing over the Cape Verde Islands.
The animation shows how a von Karman vortex develops behind a cylinder moving through a fluid.

Daft Punk are an electronic dance duo formed by French producers Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in Paris in 1993. Their music is a fusion of electronic styles including techno, house and disco that has since been described as ‘French house’. The duo are protective of their physical identities and are usually depicted wearing masks or with their faces out of focus – this was initially through shyness, although the image of man-machines was in keeping with the electronic nature of their music. We present artworks inspired by the influential duo.
